Well, this is going to be, if not my favorite one of my favorite places to go to eat. It's a family owned restaurant. I love Indian food. And this food is wonderful. We had tiki masala, fish and goat curry and the goat curry included bones, which had the marrow in it. The portions were generous. We ordered basmati rice and of course naan bread we ordered garlic, non bread and chili garlic non bread. It was so so good. They have buffets which we learned while we were there from 11 to 3 7 days a week. If you come on a weekday, the buffet is fifteen ninety nine, so it's a great price. When we came, it was in the evening after going to bullwinkles.Because it's right down the street from bullwinkles, and if you come in the evening, you buy everything all la carte, and it is more expensive. But it is worth the expense.I wanna come during the buffet because then we can taste everything.Instead of getting this or that I will review that one when I go maybe on monday they have a banquet hall, also right next door to the very small restaurant that is beautiful. When we were there. There was a celebration dedication for babies. The native costuming on the women and the men and the children and babies was just beautiful. It was really fun to see all the people arriving for their event. Because the tiny restaurant portion of it is right next to the big banquet hall and the entryway to the banquet hall is where you go to go to the restroom. So you can walk through the entryway, and you see the banquet hall, which was decorated beautifully in Indian flair. I will go again and again and again.I guarantee you
It was my first time trying Swad of India and I got lucky to try their weekend buffet. The place is very clean and modern. Everyone there is super friendly and made us feel welcomed. The food was mild to no spice, variety of veg and non-veg, fresh and authentic flavor. What I loved is that the temperature of the food was kept hot. Not easy to do with buffets. Would recommend and come again!
They have really good food compared to other Indian restaurants. The service is atentative and very good. They do take care of you.
Family owned, small setting but there is a big hall somewhere in the back for events. The food is very good. Palak paneer tasted good and you could taste the ingredients and the spices. I loved the freshness and the paste of the garlic naan. Toasty and you could smell the ghee on it too. The service it’s good too, very nice people. They have a great selection of vegetarian dishes where you can’t find it in other places.
Yummy & plenty of vegetarian & non vegetarian choices. We ordered 2 kinds of thalis, both were really good. I would definitely go again. Also, the prices were really less compared to other Indian restaurants & the food was good quality.
Good Indian food .we have taken lunch buffet with lots of veg and non-veg options with indian testy Tea
Awesome. Indian food like Curry Naan and tandoori chicken found the best indian food in the region. Ambiance and sanitized were maintained with grade A in LA. Store Manager Mr. GAUTAM is cool, friendly and have spirit of hospitality. Love to visit with family .yammy... Thanks for your service 👦 👬
Excellent in all ways. Amazing flavor and the lunch buffet was off the scale awesome. Highly recommend. The garlic naan is to die for. This place gets my highest rating.

The best Indian food I had in US. 👌🏻 I ordered simple chicken curry, rice & fish tikka. Taste was unexpectedly so good. To be honest I was not expecting much because Indian food in US is usually disappointing. Keep it up you guys! If I happen to come in LA again, I’ll definitely visit you guys! ❤️
I usually get butter chicken but i decided to also get the chicken tikka masala and i preferred it over the butter chicken! My first time trying this restaurant and it was delicious! 🤤
We reached little late to the restaurant after the long tiredly flight and everything was closed and the waiters were above to rap up . But sweet punjabi Bhabi has accommodated us very well . She took our order for Palak paneer , dal tadka , tandoori roti , rice and trust me it was proper Indian food which is very rare in the Indian restaurants in states . Highly recommended.

I ordered papri chaat, gobi manchurian, masala fries, malai kofta, paneer tikka masala, veg korma, mango lassi, garlic naan and paneer kulcha, rasmalai. The gobi manchurian had a really nice balance of flavors—I’d definitely recommend trying it. Malai kofta was also a favorite, super creamy and delicious. The mango lassi was a highlight—so refreshing and tasty, highly recommend it. I kept the spice level moderate and everything turned out great. The rasmalai was the perfect end to the meal—soft and sweet. They include 20% gratuity for 6 or more.
Friend and I went in hungry for lunch after hiking Baldy on a Sunday in August. We were seated quickly, and we each started with a Mango Lassi. It felt great, pretty tasty and helped us cool right off. Then we had the full plate of tandoori chicken appetizer to share, and loved it. The chutney served alongside was adequate and delicious too. Then we had the lamb biryani with raita which could have been better. Friend was the biryani expert and he felt the rice should be cooked more. I felt the same about the meat. I had the kheer and it was good. The to-go box they gave us for the remainder biryani was quite small, which was unexpected. If you're going for a regular meal, do not order this much. The servings are big. We were starving. Total came to around 50$ including tips and taxes.
Beautiful banquet facility for 300-400 people.. been to many events over the past few years .. good food.. clean place with great staff .. Gautum is amazing...

We came here for the lunch buffet and there are not a lot of choices for Indian food in this area. The price might seem a little high but note that drinks (lots of choices, including soda, mimosa, and even lassi) are included, which isn't typical for most buffets. Also note that the buffet is several dollars higher on the weekends, so come on a weekday for the best deal. We went early and were the only customers so seating and service was not an issue. I have been to many Indian buffets and I would say that this place measures up, I wasn't disappointed in the selection of dishes. There was plain rice as well as excellent biryani. There were several chicken dishes and a goat curry, plus several vegetarian dishes, a small selection of dessert, and a salad bar. I liked almost everything I tried, and the garlic naan was a standout, freshly made, hot out of the oven. This is a solid choice if you're looking for an Indian buffet.

This was my first time to Swad after seeing the rating on Google which is 4.4 stars. I had weekend lunch buffet ($14 with taxes) and honestly, I didn't at all feel like it was great food except chicken tikka masala which had soft chicken pieces. Considering that lunch buffets are usually the marketing geek I was expecting a much better taste in food although there was a good variety. The paneer tikka masala was very tangy and palak paneer and veg pulao just had no flavor! Gulab Jamun in dessert were very dry from inside and gajar halwa had a weird bitter taste. I am hoping not to fall sick after eating that! I even gave my feedback to one of the servers there and he said yes the taste may fluctuate from time to time. I think customers come back for consistent taste! Just a side note, they do have 2 banquet halls which are pretty decent in size and ambience but what's the point of having a function there when the food is not up to the mark! It would be great if they can do something about it.

I’ve only been to this establishment twice. The first time I went the service was exceptional. I ordered the shrimp tikka masala, basmati rice, and garlic naan. The first time I went the portions were great and so was the food itself. I came in again a separate time and got the exact same things. This time the service was slow I had to continue to ask for everything. The food was good but they changed the portion sizes on top of that before I could notice they had received a score of B for the restaurant and it was for things like cleanliness. I ended up having a terrible case of stomach flu just hours after having their food. I will not be coming back which is upsetting because the first time It was great.
I order got biryani, I found little metal wire in my food ! Not recommended this restaurant anymore !

I ordered fish tikka masala with basmati rice, but received tandoori fish with basmati rice instead. I reported the wrong item in the app, but nothing happened. Then I called the restaurant to fix it. It took a very long time to get them to understand the issue, and once they finally did, they told me they couldn’t deliver the correct dish unless I came to pick it up myself (Uber or drive there). That’s not an acceptable solution. I placed the correct order and received the wrong item. The restaurant should resolve their mistake, not ask the customer to spend extra time and money to fix it. The only response I got was a repeated “I’m sorry,” with a very dismissive attitude and no real help. Disappointing experience. I won’t be ordering again.
