I liked this place and I would come back to try more of the menu items but I don't recommend the Baked Scallops bowl. I think the scallops had cream cheese baked on them and mixed with the Crab meat that had mayo, it was like too creamy with a sweet taste. maybe in a smaller portion it would have been ok.

I was pleasantly surprised to find this little treasure in Upland. To begin with the restaurant is clean and well decorated. The staff was very friendly and helpful with explaining their ingredients. If you are unsure of any item they let you sample. The portion sizes are good considering the quality of the ingredients. I highly recommend to any poke or sushi lovers.

First time Poke for me and I am amazed. The staff was very helpful in putting this delicious plate together and the price was more than reasonable for fresh fish. Salmon, scallops and tuna will be my favorite for return trips.... highly recommend.

This is my new favorite poke place in the IE. I can’t believe it took me this long to try this place. I will def order again. The rice is cooked perfectly, the spicy Mayo is great, and everything tastes so fresh.

Good new place. Been to many poke places. This is a clean, trendy, spacious place. Poke is good. They give you many choices of toppings, like spicy crab which most places don't offer. Portions could be a little bigger though. Friendly staff and owner.

So yum! Its just a fast casual but the food is so delicious, fresh raw salmon and tuna and so many vegetable options.

I have to admit I wasn't expecting much but ended up very surprised! This was delicious and for a great price. I liked their toppings and the fact that they also served sushi. This place is one of my favorites places to get poke. Everything is always fresh and made right when you order. Even when I ordered delivery it was all sealed up and the freshness is what makes a great poke bowl.

I've tried poke bowls from many different restaurants but Poki & Maki has by far the BEST poke ever. Everything about it is delicious and the fish always taste fresh! Once you try their poke bowl, you can't go anywhere else. It's just that good!! We have been ordering here twice a week ever since the quarantine/lock down started. They are also on DoorDash & GrubHub, we get our food within 30 mins! Highly recommend this place!

Its always good but the spring mix runs out fast. Team is friendly and puts the food together well. Will keep going back.

First time and I am very satisfied. By far one of MY best poke experiences in the IE. The most important preparation for me is rice. Rice was cooked perfectly. I loved that they mixed my protein in the sauces but did not pour the excess liquids into my bowl. I hate saucy/soggy rice. Sauces are great, and fish and toppings were fresh. Clean station and good customer service as I always feel rushed at other places. Will return when I'm in the area and hopefully stays consistent! Can't provide a 5th star because I'm not sure if they're open for dine in although even if they were, I'm not sure why the other half side of the restaurant is a cluttered storage room.

Whenever I go in to purchase two BIG FISH plates I notice that the manager or owner or whoever is in charge at the moment, comes outside to check up on the staff to make sure that they are serving EXACT portions. Today I got a nice girl who was doing a great job and the lady from the back came to the front and shook her head when she looked at the bowls with the protein. STOP micromanaging your staff and stop harassing them when they’re doing a GREAT job. $12 something plus tax for a big bowl is only expensive because the owners always push for the bare minimum of portions to serve their customers. Not only that, but their toppings are also served to the bare minimum with two of their topping options being fruit. The pineapple and mango could easily be replaced with one of the items being Tobiko (red fish eggs). That’s a topping that I have seen served at other Poke places for the same price. I moved to Upland less than a month ago and I have gone to this place at least 4-5 times and have always bought two BIG fish plates. I will STOP coming here if I keep seeing the manager/owner step to the front just to CHECK that they are serving the bare minimum portions. Aside from that, the Poke is delicious I love it! I just hate to see managers focus on being STINGY and telling their staff of all the things they do wrong, instead of improving their customer service!

The guy in the hoodie with the hood over his head looked clueless and had no idea what was going on. I did not see even one person wash their hands before touching any food or packaging the items. Update: Owner likes to reply back, defending his lazy crew, talking about how they know it can be frustrating while waiting. Has nothing to do with frustration of wait time. It’s that lady that only cares about what she’s doing. Acts like she’s being bothered every time I’ve been in there. Just like another comment - low energy. The whole crew seems like they don’t even want to be there. I literally had to interrupt their cleaning so they could check on the food. They didn’t wash their hands before touching food while they were cleaning. The other guy has his hood over his head while serving people. Very unprofessional. And then they give thumbs down to the driver only after they see that I’ve written a review. Get it together…!

Use to be good here . Portion are skimpy charge you extra after the 8t side . $16.60 for a bowl . Not worth it !
