Love love love Freedom Coffee! Delicious lattes! Andy is warm and friendly and we always grab a coffee or delish cherry lemonade when on the Promenade. Recommend 💯!!

One of my favorite parts of walking the promenade is stopping here for a delicious ice coffee and pleasant chat. Everyone is so lovely and the coffee is some of the best in Ventura (this from a truly picky person when it comes to coffee). My little one is addicted to the muffins so you have 2 customers for life! Also the view can’t be beat.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best Flat White in Town! I’ve tried Flat Whites from cafés all over the city, and I can confidently say this one is unmatched. The balance between the espresso and milk is spot-on—rich, smooth, and incredibly well-crafted. You can tell the baristas here really know what they’re doing. The texture is consistently velvety, and the flavor has a depth that’s hard to find elsewhere. Whether you’re a coffee aficionado or just looking for a great cup to start your day, this Flat White is a must-try. Highly recommended!

Awesome little coffee cart on Ventura beach! Great location by the pier and I am OBSESSED with the cute pink cups with the Ventura pier design. Probably the cutest cup I’ve ever seen and it made my morning beach walk from my hotel down to the pier that much better!

Freedom Coffee is a fantastic spot right on the boardwalk. The location is beautiful, making it a great place to relax and enjoy the view. The service was super friendly, and we felt welcomed. It wasn’t too busy,The coffee was good too—we had a latte and a decaf latte with oat milk, both of which were delicious. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy coffee spot.

if you are venturing out in Ventura and you need some caffeine. Then come to coffee freedom where you find a gentle blue eyed Scotsman who's travelled all the way to the United States of America to upgrade California's Coffee options. According to Andy it's all to do with the water quality and he's invested heavily to filter out all of the California contaminants. I had a Cortado and my colleagues had two Americanos before continuing our journey to San Diego. Great coffee and great banter.

We came to California for our 25 Anniversary. The stand was right outside our hotel. You may want to go to a coffee shop, but do not pass by this stand. Best coffee !! We chatted with the owner for a great bit. Very knowledgeable of the area and gave us great tips on things to see. Definitely a wonderful part of our trip we will always remember.

Freedom coffee is steps from the beach and the crowne plaza hotel. This weekend they celebrated their one year anniversary. I ordered the California Latte (Cinnamon infused espresso and vanilla with oat milk). It’s the perfect level of sweetness. Definitely a must stop if you’re enjoying a stroll on the boardwalk. The only thing I wish I could change is that they are opening later than 2pm. Will definitely be back on our next trip.

Great coffee on the beach? Yes please! Freedom Coffee is a great stop on your morning beach walk in Ventura. My favorite is the California Latte - a warm, spiced latte that’s the perfect match with the crisp beach air. The team out there is friendly too! I really have enjoyed stopping there.

I recently moved to Ventura from New York City and when I was looking for coffee, this place was a little bit further for me, but the coffee is SO much better than the local coffee shops. I don’t mind walking the extra 5 minutes to get my coffee.

If you’re looking for a fresh warm drink, with outstanding staff, and a fantastic view this is the spot. Located right on the board walk and step from the crown plaza hotel this is a must have. Wish I was in the area for more than just a day, I would have planned to try more items on the menu. ***** must have is the California latte, it has a latte of flavour*****

I recommend the California, and if you’re feeling non caffeinated, try the hibiscus tea latte. Andy is an incredible asset to the community and how can you beat the view?!

Excellent coffee! The shots are perfectly pulled on a La Marzocco machine. You can listen to the ocean waves right behind you or make conversation with the friendly barista. The person who made our coffee was very nice and made us feel welcome, even though they were closing, which we didn't even realize until after we got our drinks and they turned their sign around. We will absolutely be back. These people know how to pull a perfect shot!

Stopped by on my way to share Thanksgiving. Ordered an oat latte. It was perfect. Seems more difficult to find these days. Didn't try anything else. Simple outdoor coffee cart at the beach. Beautiful location, paking lot available. Friendly, recommended.

Absolutely LOVE this cart! It’s a Real full expresso machine with an awesome barista who has a really cool accent. He makes the. Hot latte perfect. This cart is a gem and surprise. I could not believe how good it was. Has seen this as a chance encounter. I’m def returning and telling my friends. This is a real local spot and I highly recommend this cart, especially if you are surfing, visiting, or just going for a stroll. You could find parking nearby or at the garage or even better walk! What better way to enjoy a real expresso on the beach/pier. 5 stars easily.
