Got some food Togo here at Tasty China. We tried the duck, honey walnut shrimp, orange chicken, and Pork Xia bao. Every thing was delicious, the pork xiao and duck were top notch. The orange chicken wasn’t my favorite but it was still good. A little pricey, but good portion sizes!

Been dreaming about the fish tofu and an opportunity popped up, promo from Postmates! Ordered delivery, got the fish tofu of course, Dan Dan noodles and pork buns. Their version of the noodle is incredible - it has the same sauce as the tofu fish. For some reason the flavors are elevated, I couldn't stop eating them! The fish tofu is amazing as I remembered it, but the pork buns felt amiss, overall still a great value even with delivery since it's quite a distance from where I live. . . . Found this place through DoorDash and so glad it lived up to its name! Ordered fish with tofu - just opening up the container, I could already tell it's good, the aroma of all the spices just make your mouth water in anticipation! They were very generous with the portion, actually gave me 1 quart and a half and they included rice without asking and at no extra charge!! These days it's a rarity and that is so much appreciated. Tofu was silky and fish was amazing, combined these and the sauce with rice - it's heaven with a slight tingle from the Sichuan peppers! Will definitely be back to try more!

Spicy wontons and beef in green onion pancake were great! Xiaolongbao was okay, but still enjoyed it. Green beans were good but not fried to the same dryness as what I’m used to. Overall had a delicious time here, great service!

Update 2024: Still one of the best authentic Chinese restaurants in the 805. My family ordered for Christmas, making it a tasty and easy holiday feast. Some of our faves are the Xiong long bao, honey Walnut shrimp, Chili fish, BBQ ribs, green onion pancake and Chow mein. Always such a pleasant visit!!! 2019: Authentically Tasty indeed! Staff is very friendly and welcoming. There is nothing on the menu that isn't good. Do yourself a favor and git on dez flavors!!! The Beef Noodle soup is amazing, dumplings are so so juicy and my guilty pleasure is the honey walnut shrimp!

Easily the best Chinese food in Ventura. There’s no contest. My favorites - the dry sautéed string beans (spicy), the eggplant (spicy), the family-style tofu, the green onion pancakes, and the veggie egg rolls. Plus, the staff is super helpful and kind, and always seem like they want their customers to enjoy! It took me only one week to come back for my second taste.

Absolutely loved the food and the service. The noodles were some of the best I've ever had. We had several items and they all tasted amazing. The also give great portions and at a great price. One of my favorite sides was the ribs, they were fall off the bone and sweet. If you are In the area definitely check Tasty china out 😁

Quality and quantity both VERY high. Chong quing chicken burns but is insanely good. Dumplings are also excellent.

Excellent Chinese restaurant with delicious, authentic flavors! Tasty China offers a great variety of dishes, all freshly prepared and full of taste. The orange chicken was crispy and flavorful, and the soup dumplings were juicy and perfectly steamed. The restaurant is clean and comfortable, with fast and friendly service. Portions are generous and prices are very reasonable for the quality. Great for dine-in, takeout, or delivery. Highly recommended if you’re in Ventura!

Great dumplings, of all types. The other dishes were also very enjoyable. The food came out of the kitchen intermittently but arrived hot. It is a bit of a hole in the wall, still worth the calories.

I was underwhelmed after reading the reviews then eating here. Overall experience was average. Their menu selection is good. They have lots of buns and dumplings. The selection out performs the experience. They are affordable.

My wife and I ordered honey walnut shrimp which is great! But then we ordered the orange chicken and honey walnut chicken… I prefer a more crispy chicken but this was a very soft and almost slippery chicken. At first I thought it was still raw. Either way we both lost our appetite and we won’t be going back for anything but the shrimp

We ordered an take out and found a piece of steel wool in the spicy and sour soup. We called back and they offered a “new soup.” Obviously, we wouldn’t want the same soup from the same pot. We called again and asked for a refund for the soup, and they said they can’t refund on the phone, and offered store credits. Who would go back again for the same food after this experience. We finally asked if we can go back to the store and get a cash refund. They said yes. And when we went back to the store, they refunded 7 dollars. The soup was $6.99. And they wouldn’t even counter the tax. After we asked, the finally refund the whole amount. The whole experience was frustrating and offensive. It’s the least decency to refund your customer right away and not make it so difficult.

Food at Spring Garden was great - go there instead.

The business hours are a scam. They claim to be open till 8:30 but won’t take you in for dining at 7:10. Maybe don’t own a business if you can’t handle staying open the hours YOU set up. At this point just say you close at 7. So you don’t waist your customers time.
