This place was great. Our waitress was very patient considefing we had a table of 7 and a infant/toddler. She actually noticed that she was being fussy and brought us some crayons and paper for the baby. I had 2 piña coladas and they were wonderful. Everytime I go only get brisket so I cant speak to the rest of the menu but the Brisket is pretty great.
I come in probably twice a week to order lunch with my coworkers from here. EVERY TIME the food is stellar! Always the same quality. Employees here are also always so friendly! I feel terrible that i dont know any of there names, but they are always so sweet and talk to me like I’m an old friend. The Woman working behind the bar today, blonde, about 5 1/2 feet tall(Date is 8-22, and i went in at noon), was especially kind! Talked to me and used my first name ( i think thats a big deal, it goes a long way in making someone feel welcome) i will always recommend this place to friends, family, and customers of mine because its great food for an awesome price and 5 star customer service!
Sat outside, under the sails turned awning (clever and adorable), 75°, we can smell the beach, really, in upstate NY. How'd they do that? Wonderful food. Special treat of the west coast, here in the northeast. ☺️
First time visiting this restaurant and the food was AWESOME!! 🔥🔥 Our server Clair wasthe absolute best 💜! Clair was so friendly and attentive, really made us feel like family! We will definitely be back!
My first time there. I ordered the brisket taco which come with a side. I had the grilled pineapple. If I tell you there was not a morsel of anything on my plate,I guess, you know it was fantastic. Chips and salsa, bland.
loved the big portions of burritos, burgers and tacos!
Overall, A Great Place This is one of the decent BBQ place in and around Vestal. My wife and I were there and I had the jumbo half chicken and my wife, a sandwich kind of dish. The jumbo chicken is literally "JUMBO" and I was not able to finish it. Riley was our server and took care of us really well. Will definitely come back!
We got a large takeout order for a family birthday and thoroughly enjoyed everything. The ribs were delicious, so were all the sides (we got coleslaw, mac n cheese and beans). I'm not usually a chicken person, but this chicken was great. Just wish we'd thought to try this place out sooner!
The food here was delicious. The menu you'd think it is a fancy restaurant but it was super relaxed, which I always like with my kids. Our waitress was really cool. I keep wanting to go back to try all the things on this menu. They have a smoker out back and the bbq is on point. Lots of vegetarian options too. I really liked this place.
The staff was friendly and the food was delicious! Love the surfer vibe here too! The chicken Romano sandwich is amazing and the Kahuna burger is juicy and delish! We will be stopping here again on our way through!
Going here was a spur of the moment choice and it was worth it. Got the dip sampler app and it was huge and tasty. Also got the pulled pork sandwich which was huge. Not my preferred sauce style but that's just preference and it was still good. My friend got the BBQ burrito and I was a little jealous. If I am in town again I might have to stop by just for that. The place was very clean and did an excellent job for social distancing. Service was fantastic. Might just be a hidden gem of Broome county.
Came here with family for a farewell dinner for my nephew. It was his choice to come here as we had often done in the past. Our server Claire was awesome, made sure we had an awesome and memorable time. The menus has items that are unique to CG, and Claire was very helpful with suggestions as well as explaining how some dishes were made. Our food was awesome, our booth for 6 people was comfortable and clean. Love this place, will go back for sure.
We slid in last minute and were still given a table and told the specials by the bartender! We got stuff that was quick and easy so everyone could get out and go home, but it was so good! Best tacos I've ever had, and my 3 year old actually finished his whole meal! Will definitely be back, but not so close to closing time!
I live locally and finally tried it. It's is easily now my favorite resturuant. We had chicken wings, BBQ ribs, Fish and Chips, Mac and Cheese. Everything was literally the best we have ever had. Great service as well.... I will be a regular at this place moving forward.
Always a consistently great meal, great drinks and great service. Highly recommend!!!
Id like to preface with this, I was born and raised in Tennessee so I have high standards for bbq, and have been sadly disappointed by a few places I’ve been to in the north, but they hit it right on the mark with the beef brisket. Delicious and practically melts in your mouth. Peanut butter pie for dessert was great!
Went for lunch, and the food was amazing. Lots of healthy choices to choose from.
Food was good and staff was friendly and helpful. The menu is nice with a lot of choices. Wings were great large flavor selection and crispy which I really like. Looking forward to my next visit!
A beachy getaway and felt like we were on vacation! Our server, Autumn, was terrific - greeted us at the door with a smile and was attentive and friendly. Food was fantastic! I had the shrimp tacos which popped with flavor. The wings and brisket were also delicious. Cute ambiance. Our kids all deemed this restaurant: "a do-over." We'll be back!
Great food! Friendly staff with great service. We are always able to find something on the menu the whole family likes including my son. I enjoy the atmosphere of the restaurant though it's nothing spectacular. prices are reasonable and dish sizes are filling. Great locally owned place, skip your next trip to a chain restaurant and eat here!! Highly recommend trying it at least once if you haven't already. Had the fish fry last time I went, crispy on the outside and flaky on the inside. Cooked to perfection will definitely get it again!
I started goin for dinner since we are working out of town, the staff is all great. They remember what you drink they remember your name and are always friendly. The food is really good and the atmosphere is pretty neat. I highly recommend this place. I've had multiple entrees, burgers, appetizers and so forth. I've never had a bad meal or left hungry.
Was my first time there and will definitely be going back. The place was decorated nicely and it was very clean. They have an excellent menu with plenty of delicious sounding choices that different from the usual stuff that everyone else has. I tried the Cali Grill Shrimp Tacos. Shrimp were cooked perfectly and all the other ingredients were very fresh. Just make sure you get a couple extra napkins because it's juicy.
I've dined here several times (in-person and to-go), and I've never had a bad experience. Over the years, they've upgraded their interior design, and it's quite charming. The food is amazing (try any of the burritos), and you won't be sorry. Clean place, clean bathrooms, and friendly staff as well.
Haven't gone to this local establishment in quite some time, but glad we did. Food was excellent. Started with their spin artichoke dip, creamy and warm with lots of chips. My wife had a Turkey sandwich made with real sliced turkey on really good fresh multigrain. I had the 12 oz prime rib special. Very nicely done slab of prime rib cooked medium as I requested, with garlic mash and mixed vegetables. All were excellent. The waitress was attentive and cheerful and made sure we had everything we needed, and checked back often. The decor is also nice kind of an island beachy theme. All and all very nice experience. We will be going back to try other items on their extensive menu.
I love this place because not only is the food great, it has a fun atmosphere AND they support the community. There is a nice variety of meal choices. Service is quick, the place is clean and the food is great.
Let's start with the food, we had a burger with pineapple, bacon, cheese and regular fixings. Also a huge taco salad, portions are generous. The place was loaded but the food arrived hot and in a little bit of time. The second version was friendly and checked often.
Excellent and authentic wood smoked BBQ along with many other delicious options. Great service from a friendly staff all around.
Brisket sandwich was delicious. Caesar salad also fresh and very good.
Can't say enough great things about this place. Service was STELLAR! The Chicken Romano sandwich was what the waitress recommended and I was blown away with how good it was. The grilled pineapple was a very tasty healthy side. Clean, kind, welcoming and upbeat....all the things you want in a travel stop.
This restaurant is a hidden gem. Their food is scrumptious and has yet to disappoint. Everything we have had so far has been D-Lish! Great place for BBQ and pizza & wings. Service is always friendly and it’s a fun place to visit. Great for take out too. 😊
If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!! Not only is this a locally owned establishment, but the food is delicious and always fresh. The menu is expansive and the prices beyond reasonable. Add to this that during the shutdown, this restaurant offered free lunches for Senior Citizens. The staff is friendly, the service is always top notch. This is our “go to” place for lunch/dinner! Don’t miss out and try the smoker portion of the menu 10/10!
Great food and atmosphere! A great place to catch up with friends even with my 2-year-old with me. He had fun and enjoyed the food, and the server did great with him.
The food was delicious. I highly recommend the jalapeño artichoke dip. Service was great too.
If you know, you know. This local establishment is far enough up the parkway that many people probably do not know they are there. I have been there twice now and this will be a regular spot for me. The atmosphere is great for intimate as well as group gatherings. Food is phenomenal (I recommend the BBQ burrito or a California....it has French fries in it!!!) Their smoked mac and cheese is boss as well. Full service bar is great for casual drinks and relaxing after a long day. All-in-all, check out this joint.....you won't be disappointed.
The wings were so crispy...seriously. Sauce on them was a little light (in taste), but they had so many delicious sounding flavors and they were fantastic. We also got meals and were very satisfied with the quality and taste. Server was attentive and service was fast.
1st time in here. Very welcoming staff, super clean restaurant. Service was fast and our waitress was great. Food was super good and the price was well under what we expected. We left planning what to try on our next visit there.
I recently moved to the Southern Tier from the Greater Boston area and was delighted to find this restaurant. The food is well prepared, tasty and the portions are generous. I've placed two orders so far and will be ordering again in the near future.
Wow, we walked in and were immediately greeted. Our server, Michelle, was absolutely amazing. She was polite, attentive, and refilled our drinks without having to be asked. Even cleared the table without having to be asked. In total, we spent about 60$, including tip. For our first time in this restaurant we were impressed. Clean environment, good music playing in the background. Between the brisket sandwich and barbecue burrito welll worth the price. Great BBQ, nicely charged, with a beautiful smoke ring. Definitely recommend. Great food!
Food and atmosphere here were both excellent. A unique restaurant with new dishes better than most eateries in the area. Prices quite reasonable. Would definitely visit here again!
The shrimp tacos were fresh and delish The pull chicken tacos were spot on delicious. And the fresh salsa ...so good
Stopped in for a mid afternoon Dinner on Valentines day with my wife. Grabbed a booth and ordered chips and Fresh Giacamole which tasted great with those things tortilla chips I love. I ordered a burger Special with smoked Mac and cheese, bacon. Wife ordered pork Belly Tacos 🌮. Both of us loved our meals and had a wonderful experience. We will back for more in the future.
I was here as part of a group of 14 people and literally everyone loved the food and thought it was amazing. There is a nice selection of different foods on the menu and basically everything is delicious. Stuff like service and atmosphere is maybe just average but who cares, the food is amazing. It is kept clean and the staff is friendly but sometimes service is just a little slow but thatʼs fine because the food is so good it is worth the wait. Everyone ordered different things except 2 people who ordered the same dish and all 14 of us liked it a lot. The waitresses did forget about our table for a little while but that was no big deal, I just talked to the cashier in front and they sent 2 waitresses out immediately. They accommodate you if you communicate, they are friendly and helpful even if they are occasionally a little forgetful, nobody is perfect. The decor is stuff about California and surfing. They keep the place clean. Anyway the food here tastes great and everyone loved it, highly recommended.
Awesome, food was great, quickly served. Love the atmosphere , brings you right to the beach. Highly recommend.
Dinner with family and everything was delicious. The chips with salsa ,artichokes and spinach and cheese dips were really good. Portions seemed to be plenty large enough.
The California Grill. A wonderful food experience. They have many dishes worth trying. Tonight was the sweet potato tacos. The tacos had a great taste with diced sweet potatoes and diced avocado and black bean salsa. My side dish was Fiesta rice, which had a good flavor and taste. The other dish ordered was the Gouda turkey burrito, which was flavorful and tasty. The side dish was grilled pineapple, which had a wonderful taste. They also have many specialty drinks. Give them a try for some good food and atmosphere.
This was the first time we had been there. It was a very pleasant dining experience. The service was good and the food was excellent. The food can be described as a California twist of Mexican cuisine. They have a full bar with multiple specialty drinks. They take cash and credit and are very conveniently placed next to the interchange.
After many years of driving by this place on our shopping trips, we finally stopped. When we saw that they smoke their own meats, we were IN. I have had BBQ in Texas so I have high standards for what is called BBQ in the north lol. Let me tell you, the BRISKET.....🤤🤤🤤 It literally falls apart! And not because it's dry, oh no. It is the JUICIEST and most DELICIOUS brisket I have had anywhere in the north. It was so good that man friend had to speak to SOMEBODY about it. Well, the owner happened to be there, and HE is one of the people who smoke the meat. We had such a lovely chat and I couldn't say enough, how AWESOME his brisket was! We told him about driving by and wondering about the place for years. He said maybe he should make a sign about just stopping in lol. Here's my take, guys. If you drive by, and you wonder yet AGAIN how the place is, THAT IS YOUR SIGN TO STOP IN. Their sides are delicious (especially the Mac salad) and the fried haddock was yummy paired with a dilly homemade tartar sauce! Omg, SERIOUSLY. JUST. STOP. IN. 😁
Nice place, was clean. We went during happy hour(3-6 everyday). $5 select apps at the bar area. The pulled pork nachos were really good. The quesadilla, and wings were also good. Our waitress was very helpful with food recommendations. I would go back again and try one of there many flavors of wing sauce.
Very clean. Staff was friendly. Steak fajitas were quality. Chicken burrito was good. Fries were soggy. I upgraded them from 3 stars to 4 stars as it has gotten better since last time we were there.
First time here and the food was pretty good. I got the Thai peanut burrito and it was tasty but it could definitely be kicked up a notch with some more veggies added in for texture. Maybe even something like bean sprouts! The fried pickles rock. Waitress was very nice and attentive and the prices were not bad. I'd go back.
The food was good, but not great. They offer many sauces for their wings. The restaurant seemed clean, and the layout is pretty good. The menu offers choices for most anyone, and they have a good kids menu. The service was good, but we seemed to have more attention from other employees than we did our own waitress. I did not try the BBQ options, but they smelled great!
Food was nice and hot! We ordered the chicken fajitas with a side of mac salad. It was all hot and delicious! It would have been nice to get more than 3 small tortillas and that’s the only complaint the service size is small for the price. We will definitely be coming back
Made it in for a late lunch. There was a decent amount of people for a Wednesday afternoon as well (always a good sign). We had the jalapenos for an appetizer, which came out hot. They were pretty good but for 10$ they were fairly small and you get 4. I had the shrimp tacos that were awesome. Had the smoked Mac and cheese with it. Just like the jalapenos it was slightly pricey for what you get. Honestly though, I felt as if the food was semi healthy. A lot of times when eating out you'll get that sluggish full feeling that makes you crave that afternoon nap, that was not the case this time. My wife had the brisket sandwich with the smoked Mac as well. She enjoyed it but mentioned there was a fair bit of fat on the brisket. I also had a pineapple margarita which was spectacular. The restaurant was decorated nicely, not much background music if any so even with a handful of groups of people the restaurant was fairly quiet. I'll definitely be back though.
California Grill serves up juicy burgers and a unique burrito! We visited California Grill on a weekday for dinner between 6 and 8 pm. the establishment was not very busy. we were immediately greeted and shown to a table upon arrival. Our table service was very good, with plenty of stops to grab our order, refill our drinks, and ensure we were fine throughout our meal. California Grill has an interesting take on Burritos. I ordered the BBQ Burrito which consists of BBQ brisket and smoked Mac and Cheese. another member of our party ordered the California Burrito which includes Fries inside the burrito. the BBQ Burrito was good, a little dry without the side sauce delivered with the meal, but I believe that is by design and with that sauce was very appetizing. another member of our party ordered the Trainwreck Burger, which is California Grill's version of a western BBQ burger, and it was cooked properly to order and was andequately juicy. We had a good trip to California Grill on this visit and we will add this stop into our repertoire!
I believe that it is hit and miss here. Some items are pretty darn good some not so much. The last time I was there I got the asada burrito which is really good. Wife got the nachos which were very lacking on cheese and toppings. Nice selection of drafts.
Very disappointed tonight. I got a flat bread Cali BBQ chicken and the bread was over cooked rock hard, chicken was dried out and over cooked also I believe due to the overall pizza being in oven to long. My children needed drink refills and I couldn't get servers attention as she was talking to another employee while waiting for drinks from bar from her other table.
Food is very bland. Chicken Fajitas and mac and cheese have no flavor. We have tried this place so many times, but unfortunately won't be back...wasnnt always this way when they first opened food was good....they either changed cooks, or recipes
Eh, expensive and the burrito was pretty bad had meat and cheese in it. The brisket tacos came pretty sloppy. No presentation, no sauce, was dry. It was decent food but really bland and didn't match the price point. This is 2nd time in 4 months that my experience has been like this. 6 years ago this place was fire. I would recommend this spot for lunch at rhe BBQ spot but not a sit down dinner.
First time trying this place. Food was very good a filling. Got an appetizer of the Smoked Cali Bombs which were amazing. Ordered the Asada burrito w/ steak and a side of chips and salsa. Burrito was average size but well stuffed. Excellent salsa. The only critique I had was on the service. Not sure if it was due to just opening or what but barely seen the waitress except for bringing out the food. But she was friendly. Will definitely try again.
I have to say that the staff and the atmosphere was great, but the food was quite disappointing. It was quite bland and definitely needed more time in the kitchen.
My husband brought me wings tonight, the first time I've had them from here. He ordered a dozen Thai Peanut, extra crispy. The price is fair, $15 for a dozen is pretty standard. The sauce was delicious but the wings weren't remotely crispy. The texture of softer skin, to me, is off-putting, so when either of us order we always stress extra crispy. Disappointing.
Service was good. Food.. Not so much. We got 2 prime rib specials and a honey BBQ burger. The burger was alright, but not fantastic. The steak was tasteless and soggy. We also got an order of mozzarella sticks, which were decent. Salads were very good. Not worth the price.
Way too pricey for this area (2 people = $125). Will never return. Two stars only because our waitress was amazing. Of course, there was nobody else there so she had a lot of free time.
Went for lunch with my family on Sunday. Ordered the pulled pork sandwich, which was acceptable. The barbecue sauce was also acceptable, not my style, but okay. Ordered fries for my side. I was very disappointed when I received seasoned fries. I do not like seasoned fries. When I suggested to the waitress that she warn people that the fries are seasoned fries, she asked if it was my first time there. It was my first time, and my last time.
Took forever to receive our food. Went right when they opened as well. We ordered a 2 person dish to share, bbq smoked ribs and they were extremely dry. I think they were from the day before and just warmed them up. Spoke with manager and they made us a new plate and that as well was not good at all. Will not go again.
Went at 5:30 on a Monday night with a group of 8. Only a few tables occupied when we arrived. Waitress wasn't necessarily friendly, but thats beside the point. Not sure whether the kitchen was backed up or what the issue was, but our food took 90 minutes to come out, one meal missing entirely and three meals were made incorrectly and had to be sent back. Checks took another 30 minutes to be handed out. Overall the food was decent, but disappointed in the whole experience. It's important to communicate with your customers when things will take extra time. Delays happen and are okay but poor communication is not.
Decorum: old and run down, but very clean. Service: had to get waiter to seat us. But service was average. Not bad, but did not stand out. Food: Had basic BBQ wings. Good and crunchy, but sauce was underwhelming and meagerly applied. Had bacon cheeseburger as main course. Was very basic and had no sauces. Was also a prefrozen patty and not freshly made. Fries were great. Amount of food was fair for the price. Daughter had the taco's and smoked Mac and cheese. She said the taco's were great, but the salsa tasted store bought and not made fresh and the Mac and cheese had a great taste, but needed more cheese. Overall: Is not a horrible place to eat, but is nothing you can't do at home. The price is fair and the service is OK. The menu has a very large amount of variety, but most of the food is premade or processed. Would recommend this place as a grab and go, but not on a first date or trying to impress someone.
Waitress very sweet… Food…. Shrimp taco was ok, pork belly taco lacked the pork belly flavor and there was no actual meat in the tacos. Now I know pork belly is a fatty cut of meat but all I got was actual huge cubes of fat….. not even cooked crispy… if it was crispy it would have been more palatable, but it was just big cubes of cold gelatinous FAT….
Me and my husband went here for dinner. Our meals were just ok I ordered a buffalo wrap. I was very disappointed. I received what I think was a California burrito. Service was ok for being a new server. I was not given enough time to order. I felt bad say come back. I was try to.figure out if my meal was wrong I was try to flag down the server or manager. But they were all too busy talking to one another instead of paying attention to their customers. Oh and my fries were cold. The only good thing was the refill on drinks.
Really awful food. Pulled pork sandwich was really dry. Our wings were over cooked and smelled burnt. Chicken fajitas were smaller and not worth it. The mozzarella sticks tasted like you would get them at a college. The fries soggy and lacked flavor. The only thing good was the ranch dipping sauce but that’s not a compliment.
I had ribs there for lunch and they were awful. They were hard and dry as if they had been cooked several days before. The polenta cake was also hard as in stale. The french fries were mediocre at best. Service was very slow although the place was almost empty. I won't be going back.
This is the third time I've had a meal from California Grill and I have yet to see what all the hype is. For the price I paid I thought the food would be good. First time I went it was dine-in and they had a Buffet. There was nothing on it! We had to order from the menu. I can't remember what we got. Then the next time it was a to-go order, I got the lettuce wraps, no flavor and wilted lettuce, ground chicken some sauce and nothing else. Today I ordered the Santa Fe Fish Tacos. The taco shells were raw tasting and the fish was like rubber. The cabbage was wilted and brown. The fries were cold but good. This order was also to-go. Lesson learned!
Apparently a bean burrito is 90% rice with just a few beans. Manager walked by, asked how the food is. Told her bad and she says OH. And walks away. Yea, scratched this off the list of places to frequent
8/29/2022 My husband & I went here today for lunch. He had a spiedie salad & I had chicken enchiladas. Food was ok . However my husband visited the restroom before leaving & said he will not be back. He said the restroom was, "filthy & smelled badly of urine." He also said," the trim around the walls was dirty." I must say the person who waited on us was very nice & checked with us frequently to see how we were doing . We won't return for the simple reason that if the bathroom is that smelly & dirty makes me wonder how clean the kitchen is & how clean the staff are about preparing food & do they actually wash their hands before & after using the bathroom.
Terrible couldn't put 0 star so graciously here is the 1(-----1000000000 star) no where near enough of portions for pricing and food is emensly under-seasoned for a grilling restaurant they need to very much work on their grilling and food cooking anyone without cooking knowledge can do way better in my and hopefully anyone opinion can do and their bartender needs to pay attention to what drinks she's is serving instead of making vodka and orange juice and saying that's a mixed drink
It's an experience. The food wasn't very good. I had the barbecue that was a mistake. My husband had Mexican food and he truly enjoyed that. The service was good. They charge extra for using your debit card. I paid cash and they still charged me the extra fee so doubt I'll ever go back
Got take out and it was not good. The brisket was tough and smelled weird. I couldn't eat it. The rice had obviously been microwaved and the wings were not cooked all the way through. I will say the side salad was fresh.
I used to really enjoy ordering from here, until they greatly reduced the chocolate ecstasy dessert the best menu item. It went from a reasonably sized chocolate lava cake, to a teeny tiny little Debby sized cake. All and all I'm sad to say it feels other menu items have also been reduced, perhaps due to the economy?
My friend and I dined in for the first and last time recently. Food was just ok and the wait staff left a lot to be desired. Charging us extra for salad dressing etc. Poor service and nicked and dimed on top of that. Never again.
Went out for my birthday dinner here. I was excited because last year we came and it was delicious and the service was great. Not anymore. Whoever is in that kitchen will sink this restaurant in 2025 if it stays the way it was when I just visited. The food was horrible. I ordered crab cakes. Who in this world decided it would be a fabulous idea to put goat cheese and a pico salsa mix and cabbage with crab cakes and not even a lemon slice?! Along with a cream sauce all over the top. It was beyond unedible along with the dinner I ordered. This has never happened to me in a restaurant, where I can't eat the food I ordered. $4 extra for over done, dried out steak on my fiesta bowl. I knew I should've ran when they didnt ask how I wanted my steak cooked. It definitely sat under that heating lamp for too long as well. Please stop putting whatever that cream sauce is on everything. It's not good and it looks like a 5yr old squeezed it out on the plates. Also...Are we skimping on alcohol in this establishment with the cocktail drinks? I ordered the same margaritas like I did before and it tasted like watered down pineapple juice. I could barely taste the alcohol. After 3 drinks I should've been feeling pretty good and happy like I do every time a have a couple drinks. Not this time. I was very disappointed to say the least and I know my husband was because it was my birthday. On a good note. The server was very good. She did the best she could with what she's dealing with. Hats off to her! She did mention that there are new cooks in the kitchen every couple weeks. Consistency is key and training is essential in the hospitality business. First restaurant I've ever left being hungry and sober. So disappointed
The upbeat music playing when you walk in is to distract you from the lousy food and poor service you're going to experience here. The food had no flavor, everything tasted like it was frozen and microwaved upon ordering. I ordered the chicken enchiladas, while people in my party ordered the cheesesteak sandwich & a half rack of ribs. The person that ordered the cheesesteak said that it was cold upon biting into it (like it was the first dish made and just sat to the side, not under a heat lamp), the ribs, while tender, had absolutely no flavor. Cooking with bar-b-que sauce does not substitute proper seasoning. Also the side of "smoked mac & cheese" left alot to be desired. No flavor and topping it with bacon just made it extra greasy. Also the cheeses used in the smoked mac & cheese were either not a good mix, or poor quality ingredients, or both. Regarding the service, we definitely were not the priority, despite the dining room being empty at 4pm on a Wednesday. Nobody in our party received refills on their fountain sodas. Even if the refills weren't free, we still would've liked another drink to wash the horrible taste of their food out of our mouths. Once we were seated at a table, we felt like a burden on the staff, which given how empty the place was, you would think they would be happy for something to do. The table they sat us at was sticky, but the other booths appeared otherwise occupied, despite nobody being there. Even when ordering, it seemed rushed like the staff couldn't be bothered. After this horrible experience, we will not be returning, especially after spending $100 for 3 people and 3 beverages (only 1 was alcohol, the other 2 were regular fountain sodas). After leaving, we ended up hitting the drive thru because we were THAT unsatisfied. Clearly this place is only open to please people with a mediocre palate since no real foodie would ever eat here.
Went in for dinner last night and right away I could tell that it was going to be one of those nights. Took 30 minutes to have anyone come to our table let alone give us the menus. When we did order, our appetizer didn't come out before our food and it was only four jalapeño poppers wrapped in bacon for 14 dollars. The pricing was beyond ridiculous for what you were given. It costs 16 dollars for a no favor on very light on the toppings burger. I asked for medium well and got a dry well done one. Not to mention that the bun that they used is much bigger then the meat so you basically eating bread for that price. Order drinks from the bar for the table and they can watered down like they have been just sitting out. I will never come back to this restaurant because I can make better food then they can.
