Came from Australia and had a great experience in Outback Steakhouse! The service was excellent and the waiters were very nice, giving us multiple batches of their honey wheat bread. We ordered their Rib eye and it did not disappoint. It was well marinated and medium rare just like we asked. Their onion soup is also delicious. Definitely coming again!

The staff were all awesome. The restaurant was jamming when we arrived. We were seated immediately. Cassidy was our server and she did an outstanding job, as well Mike, the Manager. The food was cooked to perfection. Our most enjoyable visit to Outback Steakhouse in Vestal. Keep up the good work Mike, looks like you’re making a difference. If I could I’d give you all 10 stars!!!

The food was wonderful but the service by Ann was superb! If I could leave 10 stars I would! Being the son to a mother and father who have run a restaurant for over 69 years, I can say without a doubt that we would employ her in a heart beat! She was very kind, talkative, helpful and funny too! She boxed all of our food for us which is a rarity these days and treated us like family. We will be back And requesting Ann as our server each time!

Ann was great very attentive and specifically around allergies. She made it very clear about how they could manage the concern of cross contamination. She was also creative in finding solutions for requests. Food was delicious and the atmosphere was calming and relaxing with the low light. definitely will return!

We started coming here instead of Texas Road House for about a 5 months now because the food is better, the service is better and the atmosphere is better. Had a wonderful dinner with family last night at Outback Steakhouse 3140 Vestal Parkway East, Vestal, New York 13850 Our waitress Ann was so special and she made us feel so special. So warm and friendly. She made all of us feel so welcomed. We were laughing and enjoying her so much. The food and service was wonderful. We are from Long Island, NY and we’re visiting our granddaughter at Binghamton University. In Binghamton visiting family! Decided to treat the crew to the Outback wings and loaded Mac-n-cheese for an appetizer before dinner. Placed the order online and drove down to Vestal to pick them up! The young lady at the curbside pickup was very nice and helpful! Kept me updated on the order (4 orders of wings). Delivered them to the car with a smile and an “enjoy them”! The kids loved the wings and the loaded Mac-n-cheese! Thanks again!!!

I went with my family, wife and 2 children (3 and 5). The food was good and came out quickly. I got the ribs which were solid and my wife got the steakhouse salad, which said was really good. Both kids enjoyed their cheeseburgers. However, the service was exceptional. The kitchen manager came over to ask about the food and explain the way the ribs are cooked. The main manager Kevin was great, when my daughter got upset cause she mixed up what a cheeseburger and grilled cheese he made jokes and got her to try it. She loved it and ate it. I was impressed by their friendliness and attention to detail.

The only outback in the Syracuse area closed so we made the trip to Binghamton to visit our favorite food place! Service was excellent and manager offered us a free dessert for making the out of town trip to visit. This was not necessary because we would have came back anyway, Outback is the best! This is how you treat your customers by going out of your way to make them feel special! I will definitely make the trip again because there are no Outback's near me. However, this experience was so worth it, that it was worth the two hour drive!

Had a late lunch here with my sisters before driving back home for 2 hours. The service was amazing! Our server Nicole was very attentive and polite. Always anticipating our needs, food and drinks came in a timely manner. The culinary experience was exceptional, with both dishes, the filet and the chicken and shrimp pasta, prepared to perfection. The server inquired about my preferred seasoning for the steak, offering options of seasoned, lightly seasoned, or unseasoned; I opted for lightly seasoned. I read a few reviews where they said their meals were over seasoned. This was not the case with my steak. It was perfectly seasoned! We were in Outback on a Friday evening around 7 pm. The delivery of our beverages and meals was quick. Our server provided attentive service, proactively confirming the accuracy of our orders and addressing any needs we had. Overall we had a great experience with delicious food!

My go to restaurant for steak dinner. Recently there for a celebration. I love the warm bread that they bring out. I ordered the French onion soup, Victoria fillet with broccoli and a sweet potato. The French onion soup is one of the best I have ever had. The steak was cooked medium and was perfect. The flavor of the steak is also phenomenal. The sweet potato was a little overcooked but that is better than under cooked. I had the butter cake with strawberries for desert. It was delicious. I recommend the Victoria filet.

We went last Friday 1/19 for our 6 year wedding anniversary. The waitress was AMAZING (I'm sorry, I can not remember her name)! It was my husband's first time at an Outback, and she was great with explaining some of the menu items and options. She had perfect timing on checking back with us, too. That is an important thing for me when dining out. The food was all great, my steak was a little under my preferred but it was still really good and I'm sure if I asked they would have corrected it. Definitely a 5 star, and we will be returning to this location. We got there around 5 on a Friday and were seated right away, and even with it getting busier as we were there, it didn't affect the great service. I ordered the steak a little pink. It came out over well done. Waiter offered a new one and I accepted. The manager came over and confirmed the hockey puck. I finished the chicken and fries and manager came out with fresh steak cooked perfectly. Later the waiter told me the manager cooked it himself. So everything was good. 22% tip.

All-in-all good for a chain. Had a filet which is not known for fat content. It was cooked to a nice mid-rare (my wife's way more medium). However, the meat quality was apparently quite low as there was absolutely no juice so it ate very dry. Can't ever recall having a cooked to temperature filet that dry. Very tender though.

When the food is properly made and such, this is a great place to eat... however the last 3 visits have been mediocre if that.. from old, black, wilted lettuce to simple things such as asking for light ice in a beverage seem to all be issues to the service staff.. Hopefully things get back I order or surely business is going to decline rapidly..

The Bone in Rib eye was very fatty and should have not been served. However, the manager was kind enough to resolve the matter. The French onion Soup was tasty but a little basic (see picture). The other steak’s temperature was not to order. Seems like the kitchen staff need some more training. Service was very good and overall they are very nice..

Service was obviously a priority for every person who was working. Portions were large and done to order. Even at 9pm on a Sunday, everyone was busy and attentive. I would've liked steak sauce to be available on the table but that's not a complaint.

I had forgotten just how greasy the blooming onions really are. We had great service here and the cocktails were shockingly good. We'd go back for that reason alone.

We had a couple of issues with our luncheon, but our water server Elijah was so great and manager was wonderful. Though we had issues they were so accommodating we left happy to know we would be back. FYI, we tipped 50% because of great service .

First time at Outback. Our server was great, and seemed new but she was very attentive. The food came out as ordered and was tasty. The "shrooms" appetizer was quite large, could easily satisfy 4 adults as a snack. My steak was cooked just like I ordered it. Parking is ample. There are no handicap buttons on the entrance or bathroom doors so I had to hold them open for two people in my party who needed walking assistance. Staff did hold the doors on our way out, and were super friendly. I'd go there again if I was in the area.

Father's Day 2025 was our first time visiting the Outback. It was a very enjoyable experience. Our waitress, Ashley, was very friendly and attentive. Even though it was quite busy, Ashley was on top of her game and flew across the floor ensuring all her customers were happy and satisfied w their meals. Our order was correct and so yummy! She brought our drinks and appetizer quickly, but it took quite some time for our meals to actually come out, which we were compensated for. The restaurant manager, Jamie, also came out and made his rounds to each table to ensure customer satisfaction to to wish Father's a happy day. Overall, a very enjoyable dining experience and can't wait to return!

I have been to this steakhouse before. I had a well-seasoned ribeye that was delicious. On Wednesday 9th I went for dinner and the service was amazing as usual. However, the cook failed! The steak looked light as if it was boiled instead of grilled no taste and had a slight odor. I also added mushrooms on the side so I assumed it was the mushrooms. I began to eat the steak and the taste and temperature was off. I had to let it go and get the check. So disappointed that they would allow food to come out so bad. Another lady near me had same issue. Over cooked white steak. Not your usual but it should have been addressed before it was sent out.

The food is on par with any other Outback. There is always that security that brings me back every time. The service was so-so at the bar for lunch. Being the only bar customer, I expected more from the person behind the bar then I got. I had empty plates in front of me from the app, the salad and 3 plates from the All you can eat shrimp special. I would try it again, but there is another steakhouse in town that nailed everything and is right down the street. Try them both, either way if you're in the mood for a steak, you're not going to go wrong

We tried this chain place literally because we saw a commercial for a special they were running. It sadly was a disappointment. The service was ok, nothing special, nothing negative. Basic. The food left something to be desired. We both did the 6oz ribeye and one side was well done and the other rare. The didn't spin it around on the salamander. I had the baked potato which was dried out and cooked to death. My GF had the garlic mashed potatoes which surprisingly were delicious. Definitely we won't be going back here.

My tilapia with crab was good. My husband had the seasoned prime rib and he said it was the worst meal he's ever had. Kinda his fault for not saying anything? Ordered butter and sour cream for potato so put the white sauce on the potato which turned out to be horseradish for the prime rib. I thought it was funny. Husband didn't. Salad dressing is hidden on bottom? Not much of it either. Brown bread not impressive CC our waitress was very attentive.

I have not been at outback steakhouse so I was looking forward to trying it with a group of friends when they invited me. The first thing that struck us was the chili we ordered was actually large chucks of some sort of meat which had to be cut up with a knife and fork. The flavor was good and the meat was tender enough but this was not chili. Then the main course I ordered (took over a half hour to prepare and serve) 8 oz. serloin was completely burnt on one side and properly medium rare on the other. So my medium rare steak was actually medium well if you looked at one side of it. I did not send it back because we had already waited too long and I figured that was just their style of cooking. 🤷 On top of that the steak was half deeply veined gristle which I could not eat! Also, the steak seem to have no flavor other than what I would add at the table. The side dishes were flavorful and well prepared however. The servers were pleasant enough but but seemed like they were spread too thin around the tables or else they had other tasks they were doing when they were not at our table. I asked for a couple of additional paper napkins instead of the cloth which never arrived so I was wiping my mouth with an old napkin I had in my pocket. We asked for our check and that also took about 25 minutes to a half hour to receive. My overall experience with this restaurant is: for the premium prices they charge one would expect top-notch service but instead I would have been better off getting a steak at a greasy spoon restaurant! I would never go back.

I honestly was super disappointed with this location. I ordered the blooming onions with high expectations but when I had it, it was burnt and didn’t have any tasted. I also ordered the porter house and asked for medium rare. It came out closer to blue and it was very unevenly cooked. It was also very hard to chew and it took me a whole minute to chew. The only saving grace was the thunder dessert that came out. That was amazing. Zoey our server was also very nice and accommodating. Overall, I wouldn’t come back if I was craving steak.

I used to love outback steakhouse but this visit changed my view. The food was not good quality atall. We had ordered the blooming onion for appetizer, and it was literally burnt. I had ordered steak and ribs. The server assured us that it was beef ribs. Even after asking them if they were absolutely sure... they said it was beef ribs. When the dish came, i asked again.. she confirmed it was. Well, i know what a beef rib looks like (I cannot have pork for religious reasons). Then i asked for the manager and i was confirmed that it was actually pork. Very disappointed by the servers knowledge. Then i tried a bite of the medium steak, it was very chewy- quality of the steak was terrible. Overall had a terrible experience. Outback steakhouse just lost one of its fans.

Hi, I was currently at an outback in Vestal, New York on April 26, 2025 with my daughter and somehow the tablet from the table behind me got on my table so I ended up paying for my meal + persons behind me meal. I’ve called that outback and spoke to the manager several times about getting my money back and I have yet to see it. The manager there is not a manager. He was rude on the phone when asking him about getting my money back. The last time I called to speak to him he basically hung up on me. I’ve handled it cool up until this point, now I’m just pissed.

If I could leave a negative I would at this very moment family of 5 sat there for over 10 minutes while serves and hostesses and busboys were all laughing and having a great time. Not 1 second did any of them bother to come and see if we were not only ready to order drinks but order our or make any kind of acknowledgement we were sitting there ...mind you the place was about empty. The host who litterally sat us 10 min prior even said to have a great night.... I told next time she sits a table since apparently we were the only ones in that section she should probably tell someone. Called to speak with the manager after and he said he spoke with the server bc she was in the back ( what a joke ...there were plenty of other employees around that could have informed her ) and said the hostess gets paid to say good bye so I said she didn't think about the fact she just sat us and there was no way a party of 5 finished a dinner in 10 min nothing not one employee attempted to stop us on the way.... Will never come back and definitely war against...if you want actual service !

I just had dinner here with my husband, baby, and some friends. I’m so upset about the service we received and so disappointed seeing how the waitress ignored us and mistreated us just because we were Latin. She was so attentive with her other customers (white) but us. we weren’t even asked if we wanted dessert or anything else. As a waitress myself I couldn’t bring myself to not tip her but she didn’t deserve a dime…

The food was horrible except the baked potato. Plain and extremely small plates. Great service and atmosphere. The men's bathroom was disgusting. It was so bad I didn't even use it. I washed my hands and got out of there ASAP. I hope the District Manager reads my post and makes some positive changes. Feel free to reach out to me if you would like. I left a $20.00 tip on a $81.00 bill for those people that are wondering. Service was great as I stated.

Went here on an Early Sunday Evening, around 4:30pm. We were seated promptly as the restaurant was not very busy. We waited for 10 minutes for a waiter to come to our table, but none showed. We left. That really sucks. Other patrons who arrived after us had their bread and water while all we had were Menus and Silverware.

I've typically enjoy Outback. My steak however was way under cooked and the potato came with so much salt on it that it was inedible. Very disappointed.

A steakhouse with no steaks. Cold coffee. Prime rib like leather (my dog doesn't mind.) Excellent server though. I felt bad for her.

Everything tasted like it was soaked in salt..... Worst experience ever!! And on the end they give us cards with free deserts for next time, but they where expired date on them was 07/10/2025. What a joke! 🤮

Burger was burnt cold fries were horrible greasy cold worst burger I ever had blooming burger so sloppy you couldn't eat it.Never go there again $32.00 for two burgers and I'm still starving. I’ve had mixed experiences at this location over the years. While the food was solid, the overall professionalism and management tone felt lacking. Interactions didn’t reflect the level of courtesy I’d expect from a place that hosts work dinners and group events. It wasn’t a terrible experience, but it wasn’t particularly welcoming either. There’s room for improvement in how guests are treated.

It was our first experience at Outback. We won't be coming back. The 3 of us did not like any of the food that much. The service was okay. The sitting was a little unusual, they placed everyone that came in the same area. Which was a little much. The only food we enjoyed was the shark 🦈 drink. Not worth the 90$ bill for sure.
