Finally tried this place. It was so quaint and sweet. What a gem. Drinks and food are amazing. Allergy friendly too. So hard to find a place like this. We will be back and bring friends.

I walked into the Bistro just before the evening rush. Sophia came over and greeted me like an old friend. This girl had real skills. She showed me the menu, the specials, and made very good recommendations. She wasn't bothered at all that I didn't drink and quickly delivered a club soda and a Coke. She also didn't know I take pictures of my drinks and turn them into works of art while waiting for, in this case, a Margarita Pizza with very light cheese. It came out quickly and, to my surprise, was delish. SOPHIA checked backed often to ask if everything was ok. And of course it was. After the pizza I ordered 4 meatballs - one of Sophia's suggestions. They came out in a sweet, fig flavored, sauce. Not something I had ever tried before but you better believe I'll be trying them again. Overall it turned out to be a very enjoyable evening. I'll be returning to the BISTRO soon.

Food was amazing. Surprisingly busy on a Thursday night but we sat right down. Glad they had some vegetarian options!! I'm a shoestring fry kind of girl, so was happy when I saw my plate! Update: Place is now Bistro and food is still amazing. They try to accommodate you as best as possible even on busy nights.

We had such a great experience at the bistro, and Alicia truly made it outstanding! She was incredibly attentive, kind, and on top of everything from the moment we sat down. Our food came out so quickly and perfectly. She didn’t miss a beat. We had the Greek nachos and a pasta dish, both absolutely delicious. But honestly, Alicia’s service alone would have us coming back. She was a total star! 🌟

I ordered the pepperoni pizza, and it exceeded expectations. The crust was perfectly crisp on the outside and soft inside, with a subtle char that added depth. The pepperoni was plentiful, slightly curled with those crispy edges that true pizza lovers crave. The tomato sauce was well-balanced—not too sweet or acidic—and the mozzarella was melty and rich without overpowering the other flavors. Our server was friendly and attentive without being overbearing, and the prices were reasonable for the quality. If you're in the Tarpon Springs area and looking for a delicious bite in a charming setting, this bistro is definitely worth a visit—especially for the pizza

Wowowow! Come during happy hour and stay for a while. They have a yummy Italian inspired menu and a creative cocktail menu too, with great mixologists to make your drinks. The food is wonderful, my guy and I have loved everything we’ve had here... I only wish I could eat gluten as their many offerings are sooo tempting. I am positively addicted to their espresso martinis! I was shocked to find they’re only $5 during happy hour, probably the best I’ve ever had. Victoria was my server and she was perfect, I am thrilled that she recommended me the espresso martini. I am so very pleased this place has reopened! I will be returning often.

I don't know how I've lived in Tarpon and not stopped here. The drinks, martinis and cocktails, were perfect (thanks Larz). We ordered the meatballs in fig sauce and the goat cheese fondue. Both were truly fantastic. And the service was outstanding.

First time at The Bistro and I can't wait to go back! Nice ambience with friendly and quick service and delicious drinks and food! We were seated next to a large, very loud group but thankfully they left not long after we sat down. Looking forward to coming back and maybe sitting outside or in a quiet corner. Try the meatballs, arancini, or mushroom ravioli. If you order the bread, choose the oil - the butter is actually margarine.

We met the owner last night at the wine walk 2019. The owner is a nice man and his food was great at the wine walk and now we here the next day eating his food and its still great. If ur n tarpon springs florida here and tarpon tavern make sure the visit.

Delicious Italian in Downtown Tarpon! The chicken with lemon and capers, chicken parm and more were all so good! Homemade pastas and dressings are great. Melissa is an excellent server and made the evening fun! We will be back for sure!

If you haven’t been here, you need to go and see for yourself they take reservations too. We just ate here on Valentine’s Day and eat here at least twice a month.

Waiter Scotty is an absolute delight & the food couldn’t be better- like seriously- it’s insane!! Coming from an Italian. Once got this crazy delicious goat cheese chicken on special- it was killer!! We unknowingly met the owners who really are the kindest & most family type people. Never had a bad meal here or poor service. Once we witnessed a mini staff bday party/ lil cake & it was the sweetest thing. One of the best places to eat in Pinellas! Can’t wait to come back❣️

They accept reservations via telephone during business hours. The hostess had our table set up upon arrival, and she was very kind and welcoming. Our server Melissa was quite knowledgeable and attentive, with a great sense of humor. The food was fresh and absolutely amazing! Great portions and prices. The owner was present and speaking with patrons, which was nice to see. Overall, it was a lovely experience.

Best fettuccine Alfredo I've ever had! Homemade noodles and however they make the sauce - so much flavor without being heavy. Magical! Also my friends really enjoyed the many options on the gluten free and vegetarian menu, you just have to ask for it.

I can't wait to return and try other menu items! The atmosphere is very comfortable and casual. Seating is available at the bar, at high tops and tables indoors. There is also outdoor seating available. Conveniently located in downtown Tarpon Springs. There is a parking lot nearby as well as street parking in walking distance. I highly recommend this restaurant!

We loved the place. Food is excellent and the service is wonderful. Servers are friendly and helpful. My wife is a vegetarian but she eats seafood. I don't eat seafood but I limit my meat intake. There are appetizers that are vegetarian and as good as I've ever had.

Last night, we celebrated my girlfriend’s birthday at your restaurant and we had the best time! Jules, the hostess was wonderful. She sat us at a beautiful table with plenty of room. Melissa, our server was outstanding! She went out of her way to make everything special! Her food suggestions were awesome! Ocean, her helper was also great!

Friendly staff, great owners and tasty food. They have a penne pasta with onions and peppers and sausage, all covered With cheese and baked. It’s yummy.

I absolutely love The Bistro in Tarpon Springs. Every time I’ve gone, the food has been excellent, with a menu full of great choices to fit any mood. The atmosphere is what really makes it special — whether you’re out casually with friends or on a date, it always feels welcoming and enjoyable. The staff are truly hard-working, friendly, and make you feel right at home. It’s one of those places where you can relax, enjoy yourself, and know you’ll have a great experience.

Awesome spot. Not really much to say, the food and drink were eally good. The waitress was really nice and and precise. Started to think it was slow but i was just Hungry! Hahaha The place is dog friendly but I sat outside. I recommend going as I wil Def head back.

Calamari was great, light, and fluffy. Ceasar salad was yuck. Pork osso bucco was good. Watch out for drink charges they weren't rung right but they corrected when brought to their attention.

My group of 5 went after attending First Friday activities on the strip. There was quite a wait which is somewhat understandable considering we did not reserve in advance but we waited for close to an hour after giving our names for a group to leave who were seated for a bit over 3 hours. This is where I think the staff who seat the patrons could do better. Three hours at a regular table when there’s a line of people waiting to eat was handled poorly. Terribly understaffed for a First Friday. With regard to the food…it was delicious. I strongly recommend the Greek nachos and the chicken with lemon caper sauce (chicken piccata). For a NYer, this is one of the best piccatas I’ve had.

Getting familiar with Tarpon Springs I found the Bistro online and decided to give it a try. I was really looking forward to the Carmella pasta from the description and reviews. Maybe my preconceived perception is to blame but I thought the Bistro was going to be on the higher end of quality and taste and not a run of the mill restaurant. Upon sitting, getting a feel for the ambience, being handed paper napkins and a hodgepodge menu the screams confused about a niche (is it pizza, Italian, Mediterranean) I had a feeling it was a place that the menu descriptors sound amazing but the food does not match. Yet I held out hope. I ordered my happy hour $4 house wine and enjoyed the calm night out looking forward to a plate loaded with guilt and calories. First came the salad. A spring mix with a couple of cucumbers and a cup of garbonzo beans on top. Not a fan. Lacked all flavor Didn’t eat it. My server was kind enough to say “you didn’t like it” I replied not really but that’s ok. Soon the pasta came and immediately it was a Gordon Ramsey nightmare with sprinkled parsley all around the plate. This is an absolute no no and screams Applebees. Now here is where the biggest problem is. The flavor was a huge miss! The description is cheese filled purses of pasta with a Gorgonzola cream sauce and caramelized pears. That sounds delicious, right? Well it could be if it was done right. I had something similar at an Italian restaurant in Tampa that was amazing. What I received was yes pasta filled with some type of cheese, an overpowering sauce and chunks of brown pears strewn about that had zero flavor. My suggestion would be nix the parsley, make the filling a mixture of Gorgonzola , cream sauce and a flavorful candied pear compote giving it a tart and sweet combo, and more cream and butter to the sauce so it’s not too pungent tasting. Currently this is a miss with both presentation and flavor and the pear component missing the boat entirely. All of that for $23! Kind of high for pasta. I did not finish my dinner but I also didn’t say anything else about it which I wished I had. It was an overall expensive dinner for not eating it. My dinner companion ordered the pizza. The flavor was actually good. But the crust was like cardboard. I do wish the restaurant success but I think it will take a lot of improvement to receive more than 3 stars I will continue to look for a great spot in tarpon springs. Unfortunately the Bistro won’t be on my recommendation list.

I ordered the pesto pasta Togo from here , and I got it .. the pasta is dry I feel like I just payed $25 for pasta with basil on there is barely any pesto . I’m very disappointed.this was my first time trying them and I probably won’t be back 😞

I may have written about this place awhile ago and enjoyed it then but to update - I have gone twice in the past six moths and have been quite disappointed. I actually ate the same dish which is the seafood rice bowl and it has absolutely no flavor. The dig meatballs which is their (I believe) signature dish is overly sweet and jsur inferior to what they were. Not sure Jif the kitchen has changed but I was there with three others who also used to love the place and it is now our final appearance. Now to the service. Horrible! Our waitress just disappeared. Couldn’t remeber who got what (not a big deal) but never checked to see if we needed anything or even more drinks. They knew we were celebrating a birthday as well and we sat and sat and sat. So no dessert no bday celebration just wanted to finally get the check which she screwed up too. Thankfully there are many other decent places to go in the area that appreciate us and the business.
