Love the food! Delicious variety. Staff is very friendly and efficient. Atmosphere is great especially if you are celebrating something. Always nicely decorated.
Outstanding food and service! Great open venue that welcomes conversation and doesn't feel crowded.
Solid spot for good food and an inviting atmosphere. The brisket quesadillas and the giant soft pretzel were an excellent start to the meal. Everyone at the table enjoyed their meals and the service was well timed and attentive. It is a large venue with a lot of diners and a bar area, which gives the appearance of noise and disruption; but this did not detract from the experience at all, as we were still able to hold conversations at a normal speaking volume and any ambient noise was absorbed by the layout and environment. Great place.
First time visiting this place very cool atmosphere there was a short wait but we're seated pretty quick. all the food we had at our table was fantastic. Looking forward to stopping in again and trying some other options. Staff really friendly inviting.
We’ve been to NYBP Victor four times in the last month for different occasions, and it’s been consistently great every single time. The atmosphere and service really stand out. From the front staff to the wait staff and bar team, everyone has been exceptional. We recently hosted my wife’s birthday here, and the team was incredibly accommodating, especially with kids in the mix. It’s genuinely kid-friendly, even if the physical kids menu (with crayons and doodling) can be a little hit or miss, the adults definitely win. Food-wise: yes, the world’s largest pretzels are a blast 😂, but the main dishes are legit good, not just “brewery good.” And if you’re a beer fan, the Destination IPA is a must. Pro tip: if you’re coming with a group or want better conversation, head upstairs when it’s open, it has noticeably less background noise and makes for a great experience. They also host larger parties in private rooms, which is perfect for birthdays and group events. On our most recent visit, we also learned about their Mug Club, definitely worth checking out if you plan on coming back (and you will). Special shout-out to McKenzie and her staff for making every visit smooth, welcoming, and enjoyable. This place has quickly become a go-to for us, and we’ll absolutely be back.
Have always had great service and food here. Shrimp tacos are amazing as well as the wings, burgers and giant pretzel to name a few. Servers have always been very attentive and personable too. Great variety of their own beer to appease almost any beer drinker. Full bar and knowledgeable bartenders in case you want a cocktail. Be sure to get the chocolate chip cookie skillet for dessert. It’s amazing!
The restaurants WiFi was down so they were a little backed up. Our server Donnie was absolutely fantastic. He made us aware it may take a little longer due to them having some technological issues but he was amazing. Food was served fast and he took great care of us . Excellent customer service incredible food 10/10.
The New York Bear Project restaurant exceeded all our expectations! The food was absolutely delicious, with flavors that truly impressed every bite. Our server, Donnie, made the experience even more amazing with his attentive and friendly service. He went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, making our visit memorable. Highly recommend both the food and the fantastic service from Donnie!
We were staying in Victor for a concert in the area and needed a quick place to go to for dinner. We knew of the New York Beer project in Lockport and thought we'd try it out there in Victor. It didn't disappoint at all! Same new trendy, industrial, cozy atmosphere. The staff was exceptional and very inviting and helpful! We love the menu choices and the food was excellent!
Very nice atmosphere. We got there right when they opened and it did not take very long to fill up at all. Overall, the experience was pleasant. The food was pretty good. My wife and I shared there version of Buffalo wings. She got Lobster Eggrolls and I got the Mulberry Pizza. All pretty good.
Absolutely LOVED this place! We sat outside because we had our dog with us. The waitress was extremely kind and efficient. Every single dish was a crowd pleaser. The buffalo mac (hot) was soooo good, hope to come back someday!! Recommend!! P.S. we came at an odd time (~2:30pm) but it was still quite busy. There would probably be a wait during traditional dining hours.
Had dinner at the New York Beer Project with my dad, and it was a fantastic experience all around. The place has an awesome vibe—spacious, stylish, and full of energy without feeling too loud. You can tell they put a lot of thought into the design and the overall guest experience. The food was excellent—fresh, flavorful, and well portioned. And the beer selection? Top-notch. There’s something for every taste, and the staff is more than happy to help with recommendations. Our server was attentive, friendly, and made us feel right at home. It was one of those meals that felt more like a moment—great food, a few laughs, and quality time with someone important. Definitely a place I’d come back to, whether it’s for a night out with family or just to enjoy a solid local brew.
This place is so cool inside! My husband and I got the Manhattan Mac and the brisket panini. We would highly recommend both. The service was spot on too, our appetizer and food was timed perfectly even though we ordered it at the same time. Would highly recommend stopping here even if you don't like beer. (But my husband understood why their beer has won awards)
Joey and Steph were great and attentive! Fall/Oktoberfest burger special was flavorful. Spicy watermelon marg was good but my favorite was Walter's Jelly Donut Beer (raspberry ale) on tap.
Food was very good and the atmosphere was cool. What brought the review star to a 4 was that the description of the food was different from what was served. Also the noise level was on the high level for the atmosphere. What was most important was the beer (and there isn't a star review for this) NYBP would have gotten a 5 star! The cerveza was fantastic! Go have this refreshing summer beer!
Bartenders are great. Lots of great food options and all are delicious. However they used to do their winter white cosmo drink and also had it in their giggle juice. They didn’t do it last year and I was really hoping it would be back this year!! It would be great any time of the year. Just change the name for summer!
Went to the NYBP for the first time with my partner and had a pleasant experience 🙂 I thought the building itself was very interesting and well-decorated. Also, our waitress was kind, quick, and responsive. The food was delicious - I had the salmon and my partner had the celebration sandwich. For a place having "Beer" right in its name, I guess I was looking for a larger selection of beer and all items on the menu available. I would definitely go back as the meal and drinks were wonderful.
Had the Asian Salmon Bowl. It was ok but a bit bland for my taste. It was decent. But nothing to be excited about. The crab cake was full of flavor. My co pilot really liked it. I'm not that huge on seafood. But it definitely had a burst of flavor in your mouth. The weather was great for sitting outside. So other wise... normal decent time.
To the owner, I sincerely hope you read this! Our family used to come here for dinner a lot. We live down the road and wanted to see it thrive. The music and atmosphere are amazing. Our waiter Donnie is also a favorite of ours, his personality brightens anyone's day. He always knows us and is always our waiter! Please hear me, with what I and many others have to say regarding your food. The menu is more of an overpriced diner menu. It is basic items they can turn over very fast, burgers, grilled cheese, wings and the like. Our family had the General Tso' chicken which had hardly any chicken on the plate, the Mac and cheese was so bland it had no taste whatsoever, Kraft had more taste than this did! I had the $16 cozy grilled cheese with tomato soup. Way overpiced for such a basic item, and lastly a bacon burger which was perfect. Just because you can afford it doesn't mean we'll keep buying it. These last few times have been DISAPPOINTING to say the least. I also bought 4 Gameday growlers which were $60! Yikes!! The bartender an older woman with glasses completely ignored me, (not the men though) to the point that a group of guys let me get in with them just to order because they felt bad for me.She was so rude for no reason whatsoever.I was also absolutely shocked when I got the bill for the to go beers, the last time I bought them they were $20, I'll NEVER buy them again at this price! We try to come here as we want to see the business thrive but with just an overpriced diner menu, Im not sure we'll keep coming back. You can have a basic menu but don't overcharge on basic items that belong on a kids menu. Lastly, there was almost no heat in the womans bathroom and absolutely NO hot water to wash your hands and in the dead of winter thats an issue. We truly want any business in our area to thrive especially yours, however if it stays like this I'm not sure you will in the long run
We stopped by for dinner. There was about a 30-minute wait. There is a good selection of house made beer. The tropical lifesaver was a favorite. The server was great. I ordered the beef on weck with parmesen truffle fries. The bread was soggy, and the meat was cold with a flavor that I didn't like, along with cold fries. I would not recommend either of those items. One in our party ordered wings half bbq and half buffalo. The buffalo wings were not very well sauced. They tasted more like a plain wing. They do have an option for extra crispy. I would recommend trying them extra crispy. One in our party ordered a side salad with salmon that he described as OK. My wife tried the chicken sandwich special on jalapeño corn bread. She said that she loved it, it was really spicy.
Although the atmosphere is excellent, the staff and servers are excellent… the FOOD… is NOT GOOD. At my previous visit I was served brisket that was so undercooked that it was inedible. Brisket is the ONLY cut of beef that MUST be fully cooked due to the connective tissue. Properly cooked brisket should MELT in your mouth. At THIS visit the food was again… horrible. The bun for the sandwich was old and stale. The French fries were old and stale. How do you mess up French fries? My stomach felt awful after today’s meal. That’s a sign of poorly handled food. I’ll never eat there again. I did tip the server over 100% because he was excellent and the crappy food isn’t his fault. Never go there again.
