We usually drive to petersons donut corner they are the best in North county. But when I'm lazy to drive to Escondido we get Danny's. When I got home I had 14 instead of 12 so I guess she threw in 2 free. The blueberry ones are my favorite they were sold out of buttermilk bars . I like that they are open later to 3 now because whenever we would go they were always closed before so early

The customer service here is just great! They are genuinely kind people. Since I've been comming here, I have had The Ranchero breakfast bagel, the famous doughnuts, the iced coffee, and the juices! All very delicious! Highly recommend dropping by, so worth it.

Best donuts in San Diego. Okay, so they don't have some fancy over done over loaded crazy donuts. But they do have tasty traditional donuts along with some blueberry and other seasonal fruits! Worth a trip to Vista to grab some donuts.

Their cake donuts are the BEST damn thing I've ever had. You have to try the blueberry cake, or the pistachio. Be warned: you'll be hooked. If you're on a diet stay far away. Unless you wanna go off the wagon.

These are the best donuts I've had in a long time. The were light and fluffy and not overly sweet or greasy. The service was quick and friendly. Great place!

10 STARS! This BLUEBERRY doughnut is literally the best doughnut I've EVER HAD! It's absolutely ridiculous. Oh yeah, the service is also extremely catering at 4am. Great way to start any day. Great coffee, amazing service and a doughnut too tasty for human consumption.

So I have been here before but way to late. I woke up early and already planned on getting dounuts. So I saw on maps they we open at 4am. I showed up at 3:50. I sat down and the workers saw me. Popped on the light early and helped me out. Customer service was awesome. Now I got my doughnuts and got into my car. Of course I ate one. And My mind was blown it was warm so fresh blueberry doughnut. I never had one so fresh. I tried another the same. As a long time fan of doughnuts. This was it for me. I can never go back. See ya at 4am for my doughnut needs Danny's!!!! Best doughnuts I ever had.

The best donuts by far from coast to coast!!! We are from Wisconsin and visited there last April. I want to move to Vista just to get these donuts more often. Having them shipped to WI for my 60th Birthday.

We placed an order for about 100 donuts for our wedding and Danny’s Donuts did NOT disappoint. The service we got when we placed our order was amazing. They helped us choose the right assortment (the samples we were given was an added bonus) and allowed us to do custom donuts as well! Our wedding venue was across the street so they walked all the donuts over to us too. The service we got was outstanding and the donuts were equally amazing. They were loved by all of our guests and they even provided us with vegan options for those who had dietary restrictions. Overall we were blown away by how helpful they were and how incredibly delicious the donuts were. As if all that wasn’t enough they made us custom giant donuts with our names and wedding date on it! Thank you Danny’s Donuts!!

Love this place. The staff is always happy no matter how early you arrive! The donuts are always fresh and very tasty! Their well know for their blueberry donut but you won't go wrong with the rest of their selection. I would recommend arriving early because they always sell out. They also offer smoothies and other breakfast items

This was the third donut shop I went to because the first two were closed, and I have never been so happy with my luck. This is a true family establishment. From helping me choose donuts for kids to making sure there was the right amount of almond milk in the iced coffee, Danny’s Donuts is a must go! Also, the donuts were FANTASTIC! The blueberry, a recommendation from the staff, was by far my favorite, but the kids loved the Oreo and fruity pebbles donuts! Will definitely be coming back!

All the donuts are fresh and tasty but The blueberry donut is AMAZINGGGGG!!!! This is a perfect little shop to get your sugar fix!! They also have an outdoor seating area, coffee juices and smoothies. 10/10

Danny’s donuts is a town staple. Great service, high quality food: donuts, breakfast sandwiches, smoothies, etc. The stars of the show are the specialty donuts: pistachio, blueberry, & strawberry. Located in a convenient corner in downtown Vista; it’s hard to miss. Last, but not least the prices are more than reasonable. Inexpensive doesn’t mean they cut corners. You’ll love it. Did I mention they sell hot coffee that’s served fresh? They do.

They would always throw in extra donuts as well - a wonderful surprise when first opening your bag. 😊 They truly are unique to this location. You can call ahead to save some before they are gone, or call and see what the selection will be like days in advance. There is also a seating section outside. Their frappes are a little too icey, if there was more liquid they would be perfect! They also have a cool selection of quality graphic T-shirts that are cute, funny, relevant. The owners gave my partner and I free t-shirts one visit after I complimented him on some of the quotes on the shirts ♥ Please go give them a visit. Support small businesses and local eateries!! Simple and very good walk up donut shop. Has all the looks and vibes that a donut shop should. The staff was friendly and efficient.

Superb, tasty donuts. Hot coffee. Reasonably priced. Great service, if the wait wasn't 10 min for a bagel I would give this a perfect 5/5. But hey, quality takes time and it shows in their product.

Supposedly their Blueberry Donuts were voted one of the best in the country. Since I never had any other blueberry donuts, I would have to say, that this was pretty damn good! Now, normally I would never order a fruit donut of any sort. I prefer either chocolate, sugar glaze, or maple. Anything else is too frilly for my tastes. BUT these donuts are quite tasty. I also ordered a coffee from them to go. Overall, I do believe that this place has earned its reputation. Great food, friendly service and beyond reasonable prices.

Lately the glaze on the donuts looks uneven, it's not glossy and smooth like your used to. It almost looks like a 2nd day donut does. It doesn't taste stale but I'm not sure what's going on with the glaze.. The pictures are just after I got home from the shop and cut them in half. It's not from being handled either. The glaze is almost non existent on the original glazed ones and very light and patchy on the maple and chocolate ones.

Great doughnuts and friendly service but 21 bucks for a dozen doughnuts is bullshit cause if you can't make enough of of 18 bucks then your charging more while your doughnuts stay the same out get smaller but if you're going to charge 21 bucks it better be for 14 not 12

Pretty disappointing. These people seriously cannot fill a maple bar with cream. Was my daughters birthday and came here instead of Peterson's donuts in Escondido. What a huge mistake. If your employees cannot fill a donut with cream you should probably encourage them to find another profession. Clearly the owner is losing money. Never again 😒.
