This place was simply AMAZING. We went Saturday night. The food was so damn good we came back Sunday. The Carne Asada(meat) was really juicy & good. At times it can be dry but nah not here. The staff was very helpful. The location good. On Sunday's you can get a kids meal for free when you order an adult entree. Really good deal there. The prices i thought were gonna be high but nah man everything was super reasonable and lower than expected for other items. Ive been to places where breakfast burritos were $10+ it was less than 6 here. I suggest everyone just go. You wont regret it

I come here all the time after the gym. The food is delicious. I highly recommend the taquitos, salsa verde pork burrito, and carnitas tacos. Food always comes out fast and hot. The meat is always super tender and flavorful plus they have killer verde salsa.

Found this place half mile away from our hotel, got torta and breakfast burrito for dinner. First bite of burrito was salty, and the more I bit, the more flavor I get, most especially tasty with fries. The torta was a tad on the dry side, too bad they only gave two small cups of salsa

Ordered a big plate with asada meat for an early dinner around 4:30PM. The portions were more than enough. Clean and friendly environment. Staff were great.

In town for a day and woke up craving a Breakfast Burrito. Didnt want big name chain small burrito. Looked at a couple places nearby and landed on Mr Taco. I ordered a bacon, cheese, potato, guac burrito with a big side of pico. Took it the beach and devoured it. It really was the perfect breakfast burrito. Dude at counter was super helpful and a pleasure to deal with. A few regulars came in while I waited and and were as pleasant as can be. The vibe was great. Highly recommend!

We catered an early lunch meeting. They delivered and setup the taco bar. The food was delicious. We had churros and fresh fruit for dessert, there was plenty to go around. It was a big success! Thank you!

Excellent Mexican food! I get their chicken fajitas at least twice a week. I absolutely love it. They have great quality meat. It’s trimmed well, no gristle and no fat, just delicious pieces of meat. I highly recommend the Original Mr. Taco!

I love Mexican food and have tried a number of places in Vista and Oceanside. Mr. Taco consistently delivers awesome food in a very friendly environment. The staff are great, always helpful and accommodating to “challenging” orders that break the menu. We come here with our dog and there is a nice seating area outside. We usually get the crispy tacos which are always amazing. So happy to recommend this restaurant. If you’re interested in a lovely meal that won’t break the bank, this is a wonderful place to eat!

It is a very casual restaurant, you order the food at the register and are given drink cups and a number to put on the table, then they bring the food. The food was good, there were four of us and we all ordered something different, everyone enjoyed their food. The staff checked on us several times. The restaurant and bathrooms were clean.

I've been here twice so far and have not been disappointed yet. Today we ordered street tacos, a burrito, and a kids meal.

Chilles Rellenos were meh. This is the second time I've gotten these and they have been inconsistent. I think they put flower in the egg batter to make the 'breading' thicker, not authentic at all and they use Mexican blend cheese instead of Oaxaca cheese. The 'breading' should only be made out of eggs. The sauce is good and the chile is good lol but order something else on the menu! Also, hire some new customer service reps or cashiers in the front. They have an attitude problem!
