Had my wedding there. Was worried because I scheduled it last minute because my husband was leaving for military leave so we had to change our dates unexpectedly with only a few months to do it but their wedding planner came through for us they set up everything, the tables, chairs, flowers, cake. All I had to do was pick out the colors I wanted, taste the cake, and get the dress. We had waiters and a bartender for our wedding it was really top notch service by far , the view, everything was perfect.
What a fantastic surprise. The wife and I pulled off just on an adventure and found this fantastic getaway. Views to die for and the building itself is definitely interesting in every corner. You will want to make a reservation if you want to sit down for dinner as they are typically booked but the bar is always open with a beautiful view of the valley. Big thumbs up.
First time here and was just amazing! Love how the restaurant itself is like a mining site. The plates they use for the salads definitely look oldschool and they brought us waters in Mason jars. Brought my wife here for our 5th anniversary and we enjoyed it. Service was great, attentive and nice and conversational enough to make you feel comfortable. Definitely coming back but with our whole crazy loud family.
I've been wanting to go here for a couple of years now. Just brought my wife to celebrate our anniversary, it was great. We felt like little kids over looking the city 😂. A little pricey but it's worth it, food was on point. I think the cheese bread might be better than Northwoods inn 😳
My first time here! My Fiancé & I celebrated our early 3 yr Anniversary (he surprised me of course hehe) We went on a week day at around 6:45pm (not crowded at all) the views were beautiful as Sunset took place. The service was excellent (thank you Alberto) 😊 Reservations were made & my Fiancé also had a Rosé bottle requested (chilled) a delicious wine & went with everything we ordered. The food was exquisite 👌 😋 our favorite was the Strawberry Cheesecake 🍓 holy cow!! HANDS DOWN BEST CHEESECAKE I'VE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE. Highly recommended. Overall a great place to celebrate a special occasion or to have a nice family dinner.
Love the food and drinks. The view is a bonus. Awesome service as well. Always love coming here.
We hosted a 70th Birthday Party for my Mother in Law with 42 people and could not be happier! We worked with Scarlett in Special Events. She was responsive and helpful and offered terrific suggestions. I did not feel like she was upselling us ever. She just wanted to give us the best event she could within our budget. We upgraded to the Platinum package, and I HIGHLY recommend upgrading to Gold or Platinum. It made things so much easier, included an open bar for an hour, two appetizers, the cake and flowers and silk table linens (that really made a difference). It was a truly spectacular event! Everyone was sooo happy, and I would not have changed one single thing! The entire team was very attentive and helpful, the room looked GORGEOUS!!! The recommended venders all knocked it out of the park, and everyone absolutely loved the food! A 5-star event for sure!!!
One of my favorite date night spots! Beautiful place with a beautiful view! Service is always incredible with friendly attentive staff. Food is incredible. Highly recommend!
Great brunch with a nice view over the city. Lots of good food options, really friendly staff (kept our mimosas topped off too), plenty of parking, but make a reservation.
I was the dj for an event at this venue recently, and I was surprised that I had not done any events here before. The view from the room are amazing. They had buffet style brunch, which was really good. The access in and out was pretty easy. Power outlets were easily available. Setup was pretty straightforward. Looking forward to doing an event there again.
An amazing experience from beginning to end. The outside decor, thr mine carts all around, the lighting and the neat little fireplace made it so fun to be here. First off the shining Star of the night was Cassidy the bartender. She really knows her drinks! And makes amazing ones too. You tell her your tastes and she delivers. The salad bar was awesome. The prime rib was cooked to perfection, I really liked the Horseradish as well. We also ordered a ribeye which was juicy and tender. That chocolate miners cake really satisfied my sweet tooth. We are definitely coming back, even if it's just to hang out at the bar.
Food was solid and service was very attentive.. the view is a beautiful calming experience while you eat. A bit aged but for sure a place that has earned it's place in the local history. Which brings me to the desert. The bread pudding was tasty but the miners pie was awesome!!
My first time at this restaurant with family and we enjoyed it. It was just the females that went and we had a good time. We tried a few drinks and had no complaints. My sister had a mix drink and you’ll see one of her drinks in my picture. She said it was delicious but was sad about the size (haha). She recommend asking server for recommendations as she did. She did try several drinks and was impressed by all of them. I had a flight with several of their beers on tap. It was okay. Nothing new but it was fun to have a mixture at that moment. The clam chowder soup had a nice taste but found more bits of potatoes than clams. Overall, it was fine. The food was good, the service was good, and I would be returning in the future.
Sylvia's service tonight was impeccable! The food was cooked to perfection, the staff was very friendly, I cannot wait to go back. I highly recommend you make a reservation days ahead, you don't want to have a bad night just because you didnt come prepared.
Saturday evening reservations for hubby and I to watch the sunset. I personally have not dined here in almost 20 years and don't know why it took me so long to come back! The staff is friendly, attentive and they made sure we were seated at a perfect table. My Pomona Paloma and Miner's Margarita were delicious. Hubby loved the Pickin' Mule and also had a Granma's Medicine. 👌 We had the Prime (medium rare) with scallops and 14oz Angus Ribeye.. both melt in your mouth. The cheese bread was okay and I love a good salad bar. We'll be coming back to try out their Sunday brunch soon!
I had the full rack of ribs. Very tender and meaty. Salad bar was also very good. We went on Saturday, mandatory valet parking. I'm not sure if that is everyday or just weekends.
We stopped by for an early dinner on a Sunday. While waiting to be seated, we stopped by the bar for a drink we were seated soon afterwards. We started with the Spinach Artichoke Dip. Our server brought out warm cheese bread, which was so good. We went to the salad bar, they had several varieties of salads, and 2 different ceviches, both were delicious. For our entrees I had the Coconut Beer shrimp, my husband had the Angus Ribeye. Everything was delicious and our server was extremely attentive and friendly. To drink I had a Blackberry martini. We were seated by the window, the view was amazing.
Love PVM Co! Hubby and I went 9/20 for our 5 year wedding anniversary. First time going for me- the hostess was very helpful in explaining the salad bar and famous cheese bread, which I didnt know. The food was so good and flavorful. We had a window seat, so the view was awesome, especially at night! We will definitely be back, along with my daughter and her husband. Everything was top tier!
Absolutely loved this place! We went for brunch for my mom's birthday. Was pleasantly surprised about the food quality (10/10), the view (10/10) and the staffs accommodation. The food was Great (fav part: prime rib, crab legs, mussles)
Looking for great view restaurant nearby Fairground area? The view won’t let you down from the restaurant. The staff, working here, is quite helpful, friendly, and polite. Furthermore, the entree size is quiet big . They also offer salad bar with soup ! You can make ur own salad ! If you have big appetite. They can refill the bread for you . Overall experience is quiet delightful ! Definitely a good place to hang out with friends and family. Recommend Cocktail 💛Pick-Your-Rita for flight ( 4 cups ) 💛Slow roasted prime rib
After all these years, this establishment continues to impress. I initially perceived it as solely a dinner venue and was unaware of the diverse event spaces and comprehensive services it provides, including the excellent catering options. The bartender's service was impeccable. It was a successful evening and a wonderful reunion for my wife and her classmates.
Our Events Sales Associate Abigail Ramos was amazing, she was professional very patient and offered options, she does not overwhelm you she makes it easy for you to understand, our baby shower went without any flaws, the captain , bartender and hostesses were professional in every way possible making sure you had refills, removing plates out of the way and making sure we had everything we needed, I highly recommend this beautiful venue with large windows overlooking the beautiful city. This is my second time hosting a party here and I’m not disappointed, please if considering to host a small party this is the place to do it!!!
First time having a dinner there. We've visited this site for events but never actually dined there. I can honestly say it was a very good meal with perfect service. Cost was at a minimal for what you received and I mean that I a good way. In other words, not over priced. Meals were cooked to perfection. Definitely worth going to again.
A historic Restraunt with such a great vibe. The view of the entire city at the top of the hill was amazing, and created a romantic ambiance for date night. The food was awesome. Good steaks with a super nice Salad Bar , along with Cheesy bread. Great idea for date night at good prices. Dinner was $100 bucks for 2 of us
We enjoyed our meals. The salad bar was excellent. I would return just for that. The rib eye was good. Two of us had the shrimp and scallops, and we both agreed that we'd both just get the shrimp, next time. The chicken looked a little dry, but ok.
My family and I had an excellent dinner at Pomona Valley Mining Co. We had passed it for years and always thought that it must have awesome views. First of all, the restaurant is huge and really cool. We were lucky to have a table right next to the window. It is a spectacular view. Each meal comes with unlimited trips to the soup and salad bar and cheesy bread. The bread is great and the salad bar has many options. The soup was ok. We ordered a New York steak, a filet mignon and a ribeye. All three were great. They cook their meat on the pinker side, so if you like it medium well or well done make sure you let them know. My wife and I like our meat on the pinker side, so it was great for us. The meat well seasoned and portioned generously. The steaks do not come with sides. I recommend the garlic mashed potatoes, they are delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant.
I love the atmosphere! Came here around 36 years ago with my family! It brings back a lot of memories. It was an experience hard to describe. Now that I am an adult coming back here and seeing where I was from and how much I have accomplished just brings tears to my eyes. The staff here were friendly and were attentive to us. The salad bar and soup was very good! The T bone steak!!! On my Goodness! It was to die for!! Gotta try it with asparagus! Yum! Would definitely come back again. If you are looking for a romantic night! Pick this spot! It looks out towards the 10 freeway and is awesome viewing at night! Enjoy!

My experience at PMC was really good. The food was great and the service was great. Also the ambiance was also great. One of the best ribeye steaks you'll have. I'll def go back.
Went there for a date night and it was amazing. I loved the window seat because you get a nice view!
Delicious!! salad bar with clam chowder is fab. The ribeye was cooked perfectly! The view is spectacular. \n Our server, Neidenne, was super friendly and attentive.\nThe cheese-bread... AMAAAAZING!

It was my 1st time here last night to celebrate an anniversary with my boyfriend. The views were great. I loved being able to get a window seat ( I did make a reservation like 3 weeks prior ). The food was good! Mine kinda all had a seafood taste since the lobster tail was plated with my filet minon & loaded mashed potatoes, so I was bummed but I didn't send it back, My partner ordered the ribs and chicken with potatoes. We both loved it. Also ordered a side of mac n cheese to share. Salad & soup bar was nice. Service was good, no complaints. Overall great experience and 10/10 recommend!
Keep in mind that everyone's experience is different. If you have a reservation, and you get there a little early, you'll probably wait in the bar area. Take a sweater just in case it can get cold. The mashed potatoes have a garlic taste (good if you like garlic) the veggies that come with the meal are crunchy, not soft. We will be back again.
Definitely a cool place to come and get a nice view while enjoying some quality food. Had the steak which was was done medium well. It was pretty decent meal. The staff was attentive and served each course accordingly. The restaurant is on top of a hill so you get a nice view when it's dark, you can see the city lights.
The overall experience was good. Service was a tad slow, but they seemed a bit short staffed, just like every business right now due to Covid. Went for dinner, family friendly but the vibe does seem to be more of a "grown up" atmosphere. The food was good, my steak was cooked well just unfortunately SMOTHERED in butter. Would recommend to give it a try.
Came here for Thanksgiving with the family. Made a reservation ahead of time. Glad we did because we were seated within minutes and we were able to sit by a window. The view is gorgeous, especially during a sunset. The hostess and waitress were on point. Very friendly and attentive. Our waitress checked on us regularly. Thank you Michelle! She was awesome! They had a Thanksgiving special, but I was craving a steak. Decided to go with the Rib eye steak rare with mashed potatoes and clam chowder. They also served garlic, cheese bread which was soooooooo good. There was melted cheese on top and it was served fresh and hot. The clam chowder was good. It hit the spot. The Rib eye was tender and the flavor was delicious. It is topped with a herb butter compote which enhances the flavor and has your taste buds doing a happy dance. The mashed potatoes were also good. I recommend the rib eye. It was good! I also had a lemon smash cocktail that didn't disappoint. It wasn't too sweet and was strong. Pretty good. The only complaint that I have is about a bartender. I went to their bar to order another drink. I saw that no one else was ordering a drink so I thought it would take no time at all. I was wrong. There were two bartenders. One of them was preparing drinks for the servers while the other was not paying attention to her customers. She was looking at her phone, talking to the other bartender. I waited 5 minutes and she realized she had a customer waiting (me!). She was clearly distracted and ended up dropping a glass and chit chatting with another server that came by. The bar itself is very nice and they have a nice variety of liquor, especially whisky. Definitely recommend this place for a date night or girls night.
The brunch is good. They have so much different kinds of food. You get 2 hours as much champagne as you like and a spectacular view of the valley
Attended a banquet. The atmosphere is great, just like other Mining Co. restaurants. This one is much bigger than where I've been. I gave a 4 for the service because this was the first time I've experienced to be served last on our table. In many restaurants, women are all served first, then men. Serving is plenty. Beef was a bit chewy.
I had the prime rib and it was delicious. I also had asparagus, garlic mashed potatoes and Mac n cheese. Sides were ok the best side was the Mac n cheese. I enjoyed the soup and salad bar everything was super fresh. I enjoyed the Cheesy bread with my soup. Overall I had a great experience.
Sunday brunch: $50 pp. the food stations are in separate areas. Omelette waffle station, Mex food, American, and salad stations. Comes with drinks and mimosas. Stairs from parking lot. Crowded and loud. Food is good enough.
I visited in April, and honestly, everything about this place was amazing at first. The staff was kind, the food was absolutely delicious, and the view overlooking the entire Pomona area was breathtaking. The atmosphere was perfect, and we were really looking forward to enjoying a special family moment. Unfortunately, the parking situation completely ruined our experience. Because it was the holiday season, guests were not allowed to park on-site and were forced to use remote parking. I was traveling with my 10-month-old baby, and despite explaining my situation, the security guard refused to let me briefly enter the parking area just to drop off my baby before returning the car. The lack of understanding and compassion was heartbreaking. With a baby in the car, this situation felt overwhelming and stressful. In the end, I had no choice but to cancel our reservation. Our entire family was very disappointed and upset, especially after being so excited to dine here. I truly hope management can show more flexibility and empathy in the future, especially for families with young children. This place has so much potential, but this experience left us very saddened.
It seems like this is a popular local restaurant for big parties and birthday celebrations. Service was good considering we were in a room of 4 big parties. Salad and soup bar is a good idea only when the choices are refilled consistently. Food came quickly and it was delicious. However, I was disgusted with the cold coffee that was served to me. When I asked the waitress if I could have hot coffee, she said that was all it was available. Let me know next time so I won’t waste my money on cold coffee.
Super delicious prime rib when you take a sliver of the crust with each bite...no need for any salt or pepper! All you can eat self serve salad and soup bar first. No need to order any appetizers. So much food. We took home a full prime rib and a half of the other because we needed to save room for the INCLUDED tasty dessert.
This place has been a go to for me the last few years. The soup and salad bar that comes with an entree is such a good deal! However, I did notice that even with reservations, the wait times seem to have gone up and the quality of service has gone down. Everything from the server's attitudes to the time it takes for food to arrive has gone down hill. Hoping that this improves so that this can go back to being the five star rating it used it be!

Good drinks in the bar area, first time here and enjoyed the food for the price. The place reminds me of claim jumpers but up on a hill.
I came here with in laws who recommended the salmon which by the way was good. Nice zesty taste. But recently came here and the price seems excessive for the food. It's good but not worth 42 dollar…

Very grateful to have a large party accommodated at Pomona Valley Mining Co. The waitstaff was on-point, warm and engaging. The steaks were awesome!

Food was fair, service was very lacking, had no silverware waited 5 minutes, no refills on drinks offered. This was the Sunday Brunch and changed $10.00 for valet parking? I will try Brunch elsewhere.
An Evening of Rough Service at Pomona valley mining company. We had anticipated a lovely dinner when we secured a 5:00 PM reservation at Pomona, timed perfectly for their opening. Unfortunately, the evening started on a confusing note. Despite being on time for our booking, we were left waiting. It quickly became apparent that reservations were secondary to the walk-in bar scene; we were politely sidelined until the initial rush of bar patrons was seated and settled. This peculiar seating protocol set a precedent for the disorganized service to come. Once seated, the challenges mounted. We placed two straightforward orders for our party of four: a filet with shrimp, and a prime cut served with mashed potatoes and asparagus. When the plates arrived, the initial disappointment turned into a kitchen error—the prime cut was missing, replaced instead by a second filet. While the staff immediately corrected the mistake upon notification, bringing the proper cut promptly, the billing process added insult to injury. We were charged not only for the correct meal but also for the mistaken, corrected serving, essentially paying double for the kitchen’s blunder. Adding to the overall disarray was a simple matter of ambiance. The light directly above our table was out, casting our corner in an uncomfortably dim shadow. We asked two separate servers to address the issue, both of whom assured us they would alert the manager. Unsurprisingly, the manager was nowhere to be found concerning a lightbulb but made a rapid appearance after the food mistake was reported. It was a clear prioritization of damage control over proactive customer comfort. Overall, what promised to be a nice dinner turned into a rough experience characterized by operational confusion, order errors, unnecessary costs, and neglected customer requests. Sad to say, Pomona valley mining company's debut impression was deeply disappointing
Flawless kitchen, but the service was a struggle. The meal itself was one of the best I’ve had in a long time; the chefs at Pomona Valley Mining Co. are clearly at the top of their game. Unfortunately, our server was completely disorganized and appeared clueless throughout the night. While the rest of the support staff was professional and helpful, our specific server’s lack of basic knowledge and attention to detail made the experience very frustrating. Come for the food, but hope for a different section!
This was a good brunch buffet, but not great. They had plenty of variety 🙌 we had waffles, cheesey eggs, bacon, sausage, chilaquiles, salad, menudo, beef ribs, barbacoa, salmon, crab legs, shrimp, pan dulce, chocolate cake, strawberry cheesecake, banana nut muffin, jello, flan 😋 and there was more! 🤯 A solid variety of food to choose from, but I think some flavor was missing for some items. Because of that I'd say the brunch buffet is not worth the price. The variety blew me away, but the missing flavor didn't justify the price. $47 per adult, $22 per child. The place does have some tables with a great view, I'd say reserve in advance and ask for a table by the windows for a nice experience 😎
For valentine's day, they should work on a better dinning experience, given the location service was slow. I felt like I was sitting at an outdoor table and chairs. Not the experience expected for valentine's day at a steakhouse.
I brought my fiancé here on her birthday, I'm a little disappointed overall of the cost vs. value here. Both of our meals were $50+, i ordered the 12oz Ribeye, and she ordered the Filet Mignon. My steak was overcooked, and the additional mushroom toping wasn't impressive at all, for one way too much and unseasoned. Her steamed vegetables with her meal were so undercooked it was mind-numbing. The place just seems like they overcharge, and it's not white glove service. The best angle I can perceive is that this place feels like an "overpriced version of cracker barrel." My fault too for not looking into it better myself, the reviews felt overall good but the place is underwhelming, the view was nice. If you plan on spending 100-200$ for a meal, go choose Flemings or Cornelios in Rancho Cucamonga. They provide value for your money.
Update: We went last night and wow, big change in pricing. The chicken plate went up $10 from 28 to 38 and you no longer get a side. You have to pay $6 for one. We were told many years ago by the server to bring a bottle of wine because the corking fee was only $8. Last night, they charged us $20. I asked the manager, and she said it's always been $20, but that was incorrect, and she had one hell of an attitude. Between the price increase and managers, I don't think we will be back. It's so sad we loved this place. We have been coming here since 2005 and tonight was the best it has ever been. Our server Alexis and staff were amazing. The food was perfect, oh that rice and beef soup is out of this world, don't forget about the cheese bread.. I can't wait to go back.
Service could have been better. A member of my party ordered the slow roasted prime rib, he wanted it cooked medium rare. When it came out it was very rare, but he tried pushing through and eating it. He found a lot of tendons in his cut and it was very chewy. Later, we asked the server about it, and she instantly got defensive claiming it was medium rare. She did however, offer to take it back to get cooked more, but we were already getting ready to leave.
This place is not legit. Please take this review seriously. Got the filet, and it was just average. I barely know how to cook and I feel I could probably give this place a run for its money. Mac and cheese was no better than Kraft. The only positives were the drinks and the salad. Salad was really good however they left the sticker on the vegetables. See photo attached. Soup was good too. View was pretty. Overall I’m bummed I didn’t just go to the Summit House.
Bad. Dinner Prices are too high for such small portions. You have to use valet parking. Good. Ambience is nice. Nice views. Decent salad bar with soups.

Buffet food was average, but the place is hot with very limited a/c. Manager was not willing to turn it down. Alcohol drinks were weak and place was loud. View was good I suppose.
Went last night for my daughter's birthday. upon arrival we used the ladies room and it was filthy even though they barely opened. I mentioned it to the hostess but before leaving we used it again and it was even worse. Waitress had to be asked to refill drinks and 2 of our steaks that were supposed to be medium well were rare. Of course the put them back on the fire which made them tough and awful. If you are going to charge 50+ for a steak your chef should know how to cook it properly.
Decided to go to celebrate my birthday. We were a party of 4. They made us valet park for $10, because they had a lot of events is what they told us. I didn't like they didn't give you an option. The food was not great. I had the scallops and shrimp scampi. The portion was ridiculous small. It didn't taste like any other shrimp scampi, I've ever tasted. My husband had the salmon. He said it was okay. It didn't look worth tasting it for myself Very disappointing experience. I've been here before for brunch and for a Christmas party. Those two experiences were good.
My first time dining here. The views are breathtaking especially at night. Our server was extra bubbly. The drinks weren’t that great. It was a bit noisy. We had coconut shrimp as an appetizer. Very good. Nice size shrimp and fried perfectly. The salad bar was fresh and included with the meal. The cheese bread leaves a lot to be desired. The cheese toast at Sizzler is much much better. I had filet mignon wrapped in bacon topped Oscar style. I should have gotten it medium bcuz medium well was too dark for my taste. I like some pink in my steak and this had none making it kinda dry. The baked potato was decent. Overall I don’t think I would eat here again. Not worth the drive to me.
October 11, 2025 Forced valet parking $10. Handicap parking was not visible. Main entrance has about 15-20 steep steps to get to dining area. No elevator. Handicap entrance is not marked. Not handicap friendly in my opinion. We had a celebration with 11 people, we were in a room with 4 large tables. 3 tables sat 12, one larger table could probably seat 30. All 4 tables were full and the room got very loud with everyone raising their voices. Salad/soup bar had 3 steps to go up to and down from. Food is pricey. Cheese bread is good. Clam chowder was made with too much flour for thickening. Steaks were very good. By all means, double check your bill, as everyone of ours were wrong and had to send them back for corrections, which 2 were still wrong. Large parties they will only do 3 separate checks. 20% gratuity is added to each check for everyone in large party. Service was not worth 20%. Our waitress was not very friendly. Had to ask for water refills. First time for most in our party dining here, they said they would never go back. We had a reservation for 12.
We went to celebrate a birthday and the steaks weren’t hot and we waited 15 minutes after the steaks came out to get our sides. Had we never spoken up asking about our side I don’t think they would have brought them out. Terrible experience especially for the price. The birthday girl never even got a refill on her lemonade. I don’t recommend anyone paying money for the service that was provided. Better steakhouses in the area with better service.
First time to this restaurant and unfortunately the last time. First off, you have to pay $10 for parking. As far as I know there's no free parking. Second, the price to amount of food ratio. I got the scallops and shrimp scampi. I kid you not, for $41 you get 3 of each. They're not large ones either. Just normal size. (See photo) It includes bread and salad bar. If it wasn't for that I would have been hungry after! Third, the waitresses could give better service. We had a party of ten. Had to have 3 separate checks. All three were wrong when the waitress handed them out! Super loud in the room we were in. I'm not impressed at all with this place. Not coming back.
Nice staff, wonderful and attentive waitress but food left much to be desired. Definitely not worth what I paid per person. I have to keep reminding myself that across the board restaurant food quality is at an all time low while prices are soaring.
Truthfully I don’t see myself coming back here again. Food is high price, I expected it to be honest. But for the loaded fries, they did have a weird after taste. Everything else was pretty decent. Service was horrible, Elena our waitress, was rude the entire time we spoke to her and I’m not sure if it was a bad day but that does not excuse her attitude 🙏 The place is nice though, absolutely love the view! And seeing all the indoor fire pits, made the place feel cozy.
First time coming here. Atmosphere was great. Waiter was horrible. Literally nobody there right when they opened and it took 20 minutes just for the waiter "Alex" to come and finally ask what drinks we want. $41 for JUST 3 scallops and 3 shrimp? No sides? This place is a joke. Ill never be coming back here again. Really disappointed
Food overpriced and over salted. This is not wheelchair friendly due to so many tables squishing you together that even the servers could not get food or drink to everyone. We actually had to pass down our food and drink to one end of the table. We were seated all the way in the back for large parties (we had 13). For the up high view of the 10fwy it's not worth it. Valet Parking ONLY and it can be a long line to get in and a long time to get your car back. We had a person that uses a rollator to walk and she had to go outside and around to come back into the main entrance just to use the bathroom (like I said, not friendly to people with mobility issues). I will not here again and others in our party felt the same. The only save was our server. She busted her booty to accommodate us and the lack of room to even take orders. We had to yell it was so noisy. Do not recommend.
Atmosphere was nice, it was dim, not too loud and the view was nice especially at night. The service was friendly-ish and attentive. I had asked for silverware from another server and she was not as nice as my server. My server was super sweet and nice. I was hoping to have a great experience given the reviews on Google but it was overall, okay. I ordered the ribeye medium well with garlic mash and asparagus. Entrees and sides are sold separately, but you have access to a basic salad and soup bar. The asparagus was perfectly salted and there was a nice crunch to the veggies still. The garlic mash was on the thicker side and it was on the dryer side. The cheese bread that comes complimentary was not good. Super basic, nothing special. The steak came out super medium. When the steak arrived I cut into it after ten minutes of receiving it cus I was sipping on my old fashiondrink (one of the best thing I had there) and eating my salad and soup. When I cut into the steak it was medium. I tried eating the end of my steak as it tends to be the thinnest part of the steak, but it was too bloody and soft for me (my preference hence why I ordered medium well). It was pretty busy so by the time the server came by, 20 mins had passed. I informed the server and she apologized and sent my steak back. Usually when this occurs, my steak is tossed and a new one is cooked because the integrity of the meat just isn’t the same after it’s been cooked and sitting for a while. When the steak came back the manager gave me my steak. I saw that my steak was reheated as the manager said my plate was still hot. I could see that the area I had previously cut was medium well. When I ate my steak, it was fine, but when I cut into my steak again it was still medium. I decided to cut into the rest of my steak to see if any of the other pieces were med-well and it wasn’t. By the time staff came around again I asked for a box to take it home for my dog. She brought me my bill and I was ready to pay…I did inform staff that the steak was still Medium and only the pieces I had I cut was medium well, the rest was not to my liking. She informed the manager and the manager came to ask if I didn’t see it earlier when he brought me my steak…I kindly replied that I did…I thought it was fine but learned that only the area I had cut was to my liking. The rest was not. I said I only wanted to inform them cus the next person might not be as nice. The manager said he’ll discount my steak which I said it was fine I’ll pay for it. Overall, I would not come back here. If you want to have a view for dinner I would say come and try it out for yourself.

Terrible service!! We showed up 10 minutes early to a 7:00 reservation and we told to go down the hall to the small, overcrowded, and loud bar, too loud to hear some one right next you. Then waited until 20 minutes after our reservation and asked the hostesses how long the wait time would be and was told to wait until they had free tables and they would call us when they were ready. After 30 minutes and to table we walked out with no sympathy from the hostesses in the slightest.
This year, for Father’s Day, we decided to try something new. I’ve noticed this restaurant every time I drive by on the freeway, so I thought it might be a great spot to check out. Unfortunately, that was a huge mistake. From the moment we arrived, the experience was off. The wait just to be seated was absolutely ridiculous. We stood by the host stand for over half an hour before anyone even acknowledged us. It was frustrating, to say the least, especially considering the lack of communication or even an apology for the delay. When we were finally seated, I was hoping things would improve, but they didn’t. The service was slow, and the food did not live up to any of the expectations I had based on the restaurant’s exterior or location. Honestly, I was more focused on the terrible wait time and inattentive staff than anything else. While I understand that restaurants can get busy, the experience here just wasn’t worth the hassle. A special occasion like Father’s Day deserves better than this. Sadly, I won't be returning, and I’d recommend looking elsewhere if you're hoping for a smooth, enjoyable dining experience.
READ THE BAD REVIEWS! I should have read the reviews 1st. Too many cases of food poisoning! My husband took me here for my birthday because I have talked about how neat it was when I visited 40 years ago. While the view is still there, the view and the food have changed and not for the good. We ordered the ribs. They were the worst ribs ever. They only thing they had going was the meat fell off. They tasted like boiled ribs, not oven baked, grilled or smoked totally awful. Baked potatoes tasted like the day before's. We had salad bar and soup . I could not locate salad plates anywhere. The soup tasted old. Service was mediocre and our drinks were empty most of the meal. Kids were running around like it was Chuck E Cheese. Totally ruins a nice romantic dinner. What killed it the most was that my husband and I started to feel sick not long after finishing our meals. By the time we got home, we were nauseous this was about an hour and a half after we ate. Several hours later we were both vomiting and had diarrhea which warranted a visit to the ER. I'D steer clear of this restaurant! If I'd read the reviews before hand I would have seen they were recently shut down for rats and other diners got food borne illness. It's Not worth the view, the high prices, the trips to the bathroom, or the visit to the ER!!
Food was not good. Enchiladas hard from the sides and Cold had to wait 10 mins for them to Come out. The fajitas cold and looked like they had been sitting for a while. Beans were nice and stale. Waffles also nice and cold! The only thing good we had was our server.
Terrible service, I ordered a sangria, the waiter asked me for my ID, I gave him my IFE, a Mexican federal document accepted as identification abroad in accordance with US law because I am a tourist, the waiter told me that it could not be accepted, and I responded that OK, there was no problem but that minutes before at the bar I had ordered vodka but they didn't even ask for my identification. Minutes later the manager approached me very angry asking if I had drunk at the bar, that the bartender would have problems, she was very rude. with me, she told me that he did not know the state law, in short I do not recommend this place.
Definitely not handicap friendly. We had an event with family in one of the banquet rooms, arrived early to park in a handicap spot next to the handicap entrance(the only route without stairs) there were multiple events going on and we were locked in our banquet room with the only exit being a flight of 20 stairs. After complaining we had to be escorted through a wedding by the manager to get to our vehicle. When we got to our vehicle there was a truck illegally parked behind us. This venue should not be hosting such large events if it cannot accommodate basic rights for handicapped individuals or safe exits. Never seen anything like it and hope to never encounter this again. Do better mining company.
The pictures say it all. $260 for cold food, lukewarm champagne, and cheap service from both waitstaff as well as entertainment. We ordered medium rare steaks, received one raw as referenced by the photo, the other overcooked to the point of well done. The lobster tasted cold as if it was just thawed out of the freezer. Promised "candle-lit dinner" received instead fake candles that kept falling out of the table centerpiece. Would not recommend, don't waste your money on gross food.
I haven't been here in a couple years and now I know why, this place is truly horrible. I was so excited to bring my mother here for our annual Mother's Day brunch with the family, but was disappointed with the lack of service we received while there. Our brunch started at 11, we were seated upstairs which felt like a banquet hall, I liked that it was a bit more open and airy but the views weren't as good as the 1st floor we are used to. We were told that two servers would be helping us since we were a party of 8. We were served our Champagne once and then never saw our servers again. And the bussers would always take our food while we were still eating! I looked away and looked back and my plate was gone. They didn't even ask, they just took them. And I know why now because a few times there were lines of people waiting in line for plates to be delivered to the buffet section. The food was ok, I really only liked the crab (when I found the seasoned ones), shrimp, omelette, and pork ribs but everything else was mid. After 4 different people of my party asked the servers to bring us champagne to no avail, my mom went up to the lady with the champagne and asked her to come to our table. The lady was there filling up glasses of champagne for a party that just got there and told my mom that a lot of parties were coming in and they were busy helping them out and my mom can go get her glass and bring it to her and she can pour it. Smh what kind of service is that, you might as well leave the bottle on our table if that's the case. So the people that are coming in at 12pm are more important than the people coming in at 11am? I went to find the manager, and found 2 of them and told them what was going on and how disappointed we were. The managers also made excuses for the servers saying there's only 2 people that can pour the alcohol because they have to be of of age. This didn't make any sense and as a manager, you knew Mother's Day would be crowded, that means you need to get more staff who are "of age". I will never come here again and I don't think anyone else should either, it's not worth the hassle.
FOOD POISIONING! Update! : Contacted LA County Health Deptartment and an inspection was made. I was told they were shut down for vermin infestation. Rodent droppings were found everywhere! Ordered potato wedges as an appetizer. They looked alright. Dinner was alright. Took our leftovers home. Spent the night sick to our stomach, chills, headache, upset stomach and diarrhea. Next day, Heated up the left over potato wedges for lunch took a bite and swallowed went to take another but and saw this and threw up. The potato was rotted! The cooks would have noticed this when the sliced the potato in wedges and proceeded to cover it in cheese and serve it! NOW I KNOW WHAT MADE ME SICK! This is not how I expected to spend my $140 anniversary dinner, SICK! If they are too cheap to throw out a rotted potato, then they probably will do the same with meat gone bad and serve that too!
Beware! This restaurant has unique standard on how a steak is cooked. Their definition of medium is equivalent to well done at any other restaurants. With that said, you need to adjust how to order the steak here. If you want a true medium, you need to order medium rare or even rare. I ordered a medium T-bone steak and it came out dry like beef jerky. I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone. Don’t trust the Google reviews when dine in America. Yelp has more accurate reviews which only gives this restaurant a 3.5 out of 5. Save yourself some money and enjoy good tacos down the road.
We made a reservation for 7 and at 7:30 we were still waiting to be seated. When we asked the hostess for an update on our reservation we were told that we needed to wait till a table was ready and they would come get us. No apology for the delay or anything. We ended up just leaving before ever getting seated.
The waitress started to ask us if need to-go box when we finished only half of the meal. Then coming back a few times to push us to leave. It was only one hour since we sat down. It was the worst experience we ever had in a steakhouse. Feel so bad this time and never come back again. Not recommended
