Best Chinese food in all of Kern county!

Great food for a great price and very freindly all the people giving it bad reviews probably have nothing else to do in their lives but sit down and right false reviews. Recommend going here if you want some good Chinese food in wasco.

Hong Kong restaurant is always high quality food with great service. Best iced tea in town and I always order the plates over the buffet which is still delicious but I really enjoy the experience with the plates.

Order your to go food over the phone and it is the best fresh and delicious. Only takes about 10 to 15m to be ready and they also deliver as long as your order is more then 40. Dollars

Best Chinese food in Kern County. I'm from the Bay Area where there is top notch food from all over the world. Tried many places in Kern County, nothing comes close to this place. The Go To Chinese food place for us!!

The walnut shrimp is one of the best I’ve tried and their fried rice is delish, everything is fresh made just amazing to me!!!!!

The outside of the building looks a little like it’s falling apart but that’s how you know it’s a good “hole in the wall” ;) after a long day working in the fields this place hit the spot. The combos are huge and a great deal! One combo is enough to feed at least 2 people. Skip the Panda Express and support some local businesses!

Pork fried rice extremely flavorful real eggs with real bacon like pieces. Absolutely amazing chow mein. Very hard to find good traditional authentic Chinese food restaurants.

Had the beef and double mushroom. As usual it was excellent! I love this restaurant. The staff is always friendly. Be sure to take money for a tip. They deserve it. They aren't on you like flies but they do pay attention to make sure you are well attended. This is the second time I've had the beef and mushrooms. It comes with fried rice or plain rice. I prefer just the plain white rice with it because all the vegetables and the beef with the sauce make it so lovely. Hong Kong restaurant is way better than anything you can get at a p@nda express.

Best place to eat in Wasco! Hong Kong, formerly Ming's, was always a family fave for us growing up. My brother and I are many states away, but we still miss the food. Tastes like home.

Freakin awesome. Dude if i was rich i would eat here every day. The orange chicken, sweet and sour pork, beef and broccoli and the vegetable rolls. All the basics that i love and they are just the best i ever tasted at this place. All of them and the rice is rockin awesome too.

I have been dining here for 20 years. Food is always great and very affordable. A huge selection of different dishes. My favorite is the Salt and Pepper Shrimp.

The restaurant is nice, but food just ok to me. Shrimp fried rice had no real flavor, especially the rice. Nice amount of shrimp, nice size.

Health inspector gave them a grade of C it looked like it was for some food handling issues leaving food out too long, no residue from cleaner in the dishwasher and a few other things. I didn't get sick either time and they didn't close the restaurant so it wasn't that bad. Restaurants is a little dirty but to me that's about par for authentic food places.

(Update )we ordered 4 family dinners to go and only recieved 1 little tub of orange chicken this is the second time we got cheated with our food. There service has gone down hill aswell . Not the best, but acceptable, cheap all-you-can eat. Not much to choose from, but what they offer is good. Four or five chicken dishes, one or two beef options, only one soup (really good I must say), typical fried eggrolls and pot stickers (try these pot stickers), and some fruit. I always have regular ice tea, but they also serve domestic and chinese beer.

This place is an institution in Wasco, so I hate to leave a bad reviews. We had the buffet, and it didn't seem fresh at all. All the fried items (like egg rolls, wontons) were stale. One friend did order a plate and it looked better and she got a lot. I didn't eat much because I was worried I'd get sick. The staff was friendly though and I'd sat just order food and don't go to the buffet.

So this was my first visit to this restaurant. The food was good but a little to over hyped. I came in with really high expectations and sadly those expectations were not met. I was really disappointed with the kids meals only because they were store bought dinosaur chicken nuggets with fries and pork fried rice. It was nothing special and my kids were not pleased. We did spend a little under $50 which I thought was reasonable for a family of five. The price is comprable to other Chinese restaurants. The young lady that was our cashier was great. She was very attentive, polite, and helpful. I will be giving them another try soon and updating my review. I do hope my experience is much better next time.

The food was super expensive and it wasnt even that great... I literally paid almost $40 for two combo dinners, 2 sodas and 4 egg rolls...

Food was slightly expensive. Picked up a plate of chicken and rice. Dont think it was chicken. Meat was very stringy chewy and hard with no flavor. Rice wasnt too bad tho. Cant seem to find good chicken in this city. Wont go back.

I was there having lunch and the waiter refused a customer with a service dog. By federal standards you can not refuse a service animal. Service animals are not pets they are working animal with people with disabilities. Shame on you do better.
