Absolutely loved The Cove! The service was outstanding — everyone was so friendly and made us feel right at home. The waterfront views were breathtaking and really added to the atmosphere. The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and clearly made with care. Between the scenery, the service, and the food, this spot is a total winner. Can’t wait to go back!
Super friendly staff. Conveniently took us early with no reservations so that helped our Sunday Eve. Johan and his team are awesome. Will be back
What a nice place. Beautiful setting on the water. Nice, outdoor place during the day, pretty casual. Once the sun goes down, it gets a bit fancier. Dj and a great outside bar, well lit at night. A fun atmosphere. The hummus and the Shisito peppers are a must have appetizer. The salmon burger is delicious. Drinks are top notch. I had the Spicy Margarita and she had the Pink Palumbo. A great time. Tell 'em Barsnobs sent ya
Decide to eat out today after dentist 🦷 for the little one. We drove to the The Cove Restaurant in seacliff ny ( just 30min car ride from queens). Is a beautiful area on the north fork of Long Island. The Restaurant is right on the water and you oversee the marina. They have a huge outdoor area and enough space for social distancing. All the waiter and the hostess had a mask on. For the menu they you use the phone which I really like since nobody beside my family touches it. I think much better than any printed menus etc ... sanitizer was displayed right on Exit/ Entrance so that all a big plus points !!! Customer had a mask on when they entered and exit the Restaurant and left the table.Bravo Cove Team fantastic job we felt safe. The Food menu is a mix of seafood , Cypriot and American food nice selection for alll courses you can choose from. Drink menu great too cocktails sounded great and having Karlsberg on Tap isnt so common in NY I feel personally. We had Meatballs and Shrimps for the Appetizer. Main Course : Seafood Pasta Sushi Roll Penne Pasta and Broccoli 🥦 for the little one. Food was cooked well and tasty. I would recommend The Cove Restaurant to everyone and will be back as well. — eating dinner at The Cove Restaurant & Oyster Bar.
We recently attended a wedding shower at this charming restaurant that felt like a little escape to Greece right in the heart of Long Island. The ambiance was perfect, making it feel like we were miles away. The family-style food was delicious, especially the salad with walnuts and pears, and the assortment of dips with pita bread— the spicy feta was my favorite! The calamari and main courses were also excellent. I’m so glad we discovered this hidden gem through the event!
Beautiful water side restaurant, with boat docking available. Gives Greek island vibes. The calamari was delicious but the portion was a bit in the small side. The seafood pasta was great (would have been even better if it included crab/lobster though). Reasonably priced, great service.
A Slice of Greece on the Waterfront! Had the best birthday brunch with my girls at Cove Restaurant in Glen Cove! The vibe is straight out of Greece — blue and white decor, waterfront views, and beautiful docked ships that made the whole experience feel like a vacation. The vegetarian options were excellent (finally, a place that gets it right!), the food was delicious, and the servers were friendly and attentive. We went on a weekend for brunch and everything—from the setting to the service—was just perfect. Highly recommend for celebrations or a relaxing meal with a view!
Really awesome establishment. The food is excellent. I had the branzino, and it was easily the best one I've ever tried. The brussels sprouts and lemon potatoes were delicious as well. Our server was so kind and friendly and the vibes here are spot on. The place itself is beautiful inside, and the outdoor seating on the marina is lovely. They had a DJ playing a lot of exotic deep house and electronic blends from around the world. It was a fusion of Middle Eastern, African, Tribal, and Latin sound and it was fantastic. Not too many places I've been to play exotic EDM so this was a nice touch.
We picked this place because it reminded us of Mykonos. We were pleasantly surprised at such a hidden gem. The service was excellent. Our server, Edison was polite, sweet, helpful, knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. The signature cocktails were all phenomenal. We ordered the Cove Calamari, Grilled Octopus & Chickpea Salad, Baked Stuffed Clams, Branzino, Mussels, and the Squid Ink Pasta w/Lobster. The Squid Ink Pasta w/Lobster had too much lemon juice for my taste personally, but my other half liked it. Everything else was DELICIOUS! The view was awesome. Definitely a venue we will go back to.
Went to The Cove for my birthday dinner with my friends. We chose to sit inside and not be hot. The food was amazing. The service was on point and the ambiance was breathtaking. My one and only complaint is there was no air-conditioning inside the restaurant, just a fan and we were all sweating and so hot and it makes us very uncomfortable but we made the best of it. Next time we will sit outdoors.
The atmosphere is perfect for a night out. The wait staff is down to earth and very attentive to detail. This place never fails to please. Would 100% recommend for a date night or a time out with the girls ! Good music/ delicious food. Cocktails are prepared professionally and exactly what you ask for. You can’t go wrong!
The food is amazing as always and the vibes are very calm and classy. Our server Moses was amazing. Checked on us not too little or too much, he helped us choose drinks and appetizers and was so right about every meal he recommended. Moses made the experience definitely worth coming back ofc along with the food and drinks!
"A Wonderful Evening!" We had the pleasure of dining at this lovely restaurant and were truly impressed by the incredible service from Oscar, Mimi, and David. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel welcomed and ensured we had everything we needed. Their friendly and attentive service added so much to our evening. The food was exceptional, and the atmosphere was perfect for a relaxed and enjoyable dinner. Oscar’s recommendations were spot-on, David attention was amazing and Mimi's hospitality made the evening truly memorable. Highly recommend this place, and we’ll definitely be back! Thank you for such a wonderful experience!
Had a wonderful lunch experience here. The service was top notch, the margaritas were excellent and the food was delicious. The fried calamari was one of the best I’ve had, so tender and fresh. Great job. Will definitely return when in the area.
I had my bridal shower at The Cove and everything was perfect from start to finish. Katherine, the event coordinator was fantastic and made sure every detail was thought of. She was attentive during the entire planning process as well as on the day of. The food was delicious, and the service was exceptional. Everyone raved about how much fun they had and how good everything was. I wish I could do it all over again!
The Cove delivers an elevated dining and nightlife experience that distinguishes it from the typical Long Island scene. I visited with my partner for our one-and-a-half year anniversary, and from the moment we arrived, the staff ensured the evening felt special. To mark the occasion, we were greeted with complimentary champagne, a thoughtful gesture that immediately set the tone for the night. The menu demonstrated both balance and refinement. We began with the pita bread served alongside olive oil, which was deceptively simple yet deeply satisfying, showcasing the quality of their ingredients. The meatballs were hearty and well-seasoned, providing a warm and comforting start. For our main course, we shared the branzino, which arrived perfectly cooked, with crisp skin and a delicate, tender interior. The preparation highlighted the freshness of the fish without unnecessary embellishment. Ambience plays as significant a role as the food at The Cove. The setting was stylish and intimate during dinner, ideal for conversation and celebration. As the evening transitioned past 10 p.m., the energy shifted dramatically. The atmosphere became vibrant, with music and a lively crowd transforming the venue into one of the few places on Long Island that continues to pulse with activity after most others have gone quiet. The Cove succeeds as both a culinary destination and a nightlife hub. It is rare to find a restaurant that manages to excel equally in both arenas, but The Cove accomplishes this with confidence. For special occasions or simply for a night out that extends beyond dinner, it sets the standard in Long Island.
Really enjoyed the atmosphere. Our servers Moses and Daniella were so hospitable and really pleasant. The food was incredible and the desert was better. 100% recommend the olive oil cake. Will definitely come back again
I would most definitely be revisiting here! Everything were hands down AMAZING! I'm a seafood lover so I had almost everything seafood and it was chef kisses. My family and I enjoyed dinner here for my mom's birthday! The scenery and music was on point! Loved it here <3 Edit : Here back again and once again The Cove Restaurant doesn't disappoint! The food were amazing and service was top tier!!! Edit - I was here once again for Father's Day 2025 with my family and as always The Cove doesn't disappoint!
A Perfect Dining Experience at Cove Restaurant! Cove Restaurant exceeded all of our expectations! The food was absolutely delicious, with every dish expertly crafted and full of flavor. On top of the incredible meal, the restaurant itself is stunning – beautifully designed and offering a charming, elegant atmosphere. The staff was also outstanding – incredibly professional, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed for a perfect dining experience. If you’re looking for amazing food in a gorgeous setting with top-notch service, Cove is the place to go. Highly recommend!
We went for our 10 year friendship anniversary. It was very beautiful there, the atmosphere was amazing. Lots of photo worthy areas. Not a lot of food choices but that is good in a sense because they have time to perfect what is on the menu. I wish they had more frozen drink options. They only had one which had alcohol. It
Delicious! I was looking for a outdoors place in Oyster Bay or even on LI and this is the only place that looked very beautiful. The reviews weren’t that good but I went with my heart and mono glad I did! AMAZING service! AMAZING food! AMAZING ambiance! From start to finish everything was great! I can’t wait to come back again. This is def one of my favorite places. Thank you!!!
Went for Sunday late lunch near dinner time and sat outside, on a beautiful day. Thankful that we were accommodated. Food was delicious and the its surprisingly greek food. One thing, is that staff didn't come back to ask if we wanted anything else. Like another drink...possibly they were right before dinner rush and a private party just ended, so staff may have been swamped. View of the water and boats on a sunny day makes the dining experience even better. The dips are fantastic, must try the spicy feta. Lobster roll was one of specials, it was very good, however the bun was not. For a $38 item, a fancier, buttery bun is indicated. Branzino was out of this world, melt in your mouth!
Absolutely amazing food & venue. Spectacular views of the bay under shaded tent & umbrellas. 🥇🥇 Tables are positioned nicely apart for privacy. My date could not stop raving about how good the Branzino tasted. I fell in love with the the grilled octopus 🐙. The sushi was decent as was the truffle fries. An extra plus is that you can enjoy a brunch entree for $12 before 3:30 pm. $9 gets you a nice cold draft. The Maitre D was very accommodating 🙏🏻. 4% surcharge for credit cards. Valet parking is optional? ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Note: definitely give consideration to hosting any large parties of 50-100 people here. #1 on podium for the area
Just threw a wonderful surprise party for my moms 60th! The DJ was fantastic and played disco all night so she could dance. Setting up the party was easy, Katherine and Phillip were a joy to work with. The food is delicious especially the keftethes (meatballs) and Mac and cheese on a spoon. The spicy margarita is a favorite and delicious martinis (espresso & dirty). Will be back soon for regular dinner!!
Happened to be in the area on a Saturday afternoon and decided to try The Cove- our server Lisette was so helpful and kind and made some amazing recommendations. The octopus, bronzino and the oysters were to dieeee for! We ended the meal with a delicious olive oil cake with fig gelato! We can’t wait to come back, 10/10 :)
We absolutely enjoyed our dining experience at this restaurant! The staff was friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. Their grilled octopus is an absolute must-try 10/10! We also loved the seared salmon and their Cove Burger, which were delicious and cooked to perfection. The spicy salmon roll also stood out. For drinks, you can't go wrong with their Classic Margarita on the rocks or the Old Fashioned. The service was truly exceptional. We have to give a special thanks to Hector, Manuel, and Jennifer, who made our dinner experience great. We loved the cleanliness, music, and the overall vibe of the place. We strongly recommend making a reservation, as we didn't have to wait at all. For the best view, try to go when the sun is setting! We finished with the lava cake for dessert, and while it was good, it wasn't the best we have ever tried. Overall, this was a fantastic experience with great food and excellent taff. We will definitely be visiting again!
Wonderful place to enjoy their location on the water. Food and service top notch. We had shorts and t-shirts on from the day of boating. They have outside and inside seating and was no problem to seat us inside with the more formally dressed customers. Service was above and beyond and warranted above standard tipping.
I loved my experience at The Cove The food was absolutely delicious — the calamari, the rolls, and the lobster fettuccine were my favorites. I also loved the dessert and the cocktails. Everything has that fresh, summery touch, from the decor to the vibe at the bar. I really liked that they have live music too! It's the kind of place that instantly puts you in a good mood. Perfect for a relaxed outing with great food, good vibes, and excellent service. Highly recommended!
The perfect place to enjoy the summer! From the moment you arrive, the decor and atmosphere wrap you in a super fresh and relaxed vibe. We had the calamari (so delicious!!!), some super fresh and tasty rolls, the lobster fettuccine which was incredible, and we finished with a delicious dessert and a perfect espresso martini. The cocktails overall were really refreshing and thoughtfully made. I started off at the bar and had such a great time — the music, the ambiance, everything gives off that summer mood we all love. I’m definitely coming back! My server Miguel was very friendly
I would give The Cove 6 stars if I could! First of all, the waterfront location is beautiful. They have so many seating options, including outdoor (heated in some areas if it's cool), indoor and bar. They have an outdoor bar and lounge area which is perfect for a night out in the summer. They offer live music on the weekends. They also have docking space available! The food is impeccable with a Mediterranean influence. Everything is delicious and I love the selection of menu items. The cocktails are also carefully crafted and fresh. The service is really nice! This place is great for a date night, a night out with friends or even a special occasion like birthdays or graduations.
This restaurant is gorgeous!! Right on the water and the decor is just as beautiful. We tried their tapas special first and everything was really yummy - the buffalo brussel sprouts are a must try! Moses was our bartender and he was so kind & knowledgeable. Drinks were pretty and tasty. We also tried the Naruto sushi roll which was fresh & delicious and their seafood spaghetti which was served in a fantastic spicy sauce - another must try! We will be back on a sunny day and sit outside!
We had an incredible dining experience at The Cove in Glen Cove. From the ambiance to the service, everything felt upscale yet inviting. We started with a round of mocktails, which were thoughtfully crafted—balanced, refreshing, and beautifully presented. A great non-alcoholic option that didn’t feel like an afterthought. The sushi was fresh and clean, with a nice variety of textures and flavors. The calamari was lightly crispy on the outside and tender inside, with just the right amount of seasoning. For mains, we shared the lobster roll and lobster fettuccine. The roll was generously filled and buttery, served with a perfectly toasted bun. The fettuccine was rich, creamy, and packed with lobster—comfort food elevated to something special. We ended on a high note with the lava cake. It was warm, decadent, and paired wonderfully with the ice cream—an indulgent, satisfying finish. Highly recommend for a date night, a nice evening out with friends, or any time you want a quality seafood experience with a bit of flair. We’ll definitely be back.
Overpriced for the quality of food and service..hummus dry, unspeakable, no Tahini, garlic, oil it was terrible and mot enough for 3 people. We drove from staten island, 2 hour drive and were extremely disappointed. We sat for 20 minutes before bread was served. Servers do not check on you to see if you need anything, we ask for refills of water no one came. Fettuccine with lobster was extremely salty and pasta not cooked! 3 pieces of lobster. Branzini was tasteless, baklava was greasy, filo dough was not flaky...no flavor...the best part of experience was ambience and cappuccino. 3 people, 2 appetizers, 3 dinners, 1 cappuccino, 1 espresso martini Total cost 285.00 without tip. Asked for bill 4 times waited 35 minutes for bill to arrive Horrible experience! Was not worth tge traffic, tolls! Overall review a 2!!!
The service was spectacular. Our server, Kevin was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. I had the lobster, but didn’t enjoy it as much as I expected. I like my Lobster simple. It was seasoned and it took away from the taste i was expecting. However, my husband had the salmon and it was delicious. We also had oysters and calamari and they were both good. The atmosphere/ambience was beautiful! I would recommend it!
HONEST REVIEW ABOUT 📍THE COVE🇬🇷 The smell of the water treatment plant is out of their control. Yes it smells, but they literally have 0 control over that. Maybe they can try to add candles at the tables, but leaving one star reviews because of the smell isn’t fair to this restaurant! I will say the service was incredibly slow. Like unbearably painfully slow (and it wasnt that busy for a late Monday night) While our waiter was very kind, it took almost an hour to get our check🙏😭 Now let’s get into the positives😍 This place is STUNNING! As my friend joked “wow it’s just a wall” but you know what, this business is smart. THIS is how a business survives and grows. By creating a beautiful scene that offers people an EXPERIENCE! For those of us who can’t make it to Greece, this offers a little glimmer of hope and travel🥹✨ We really enjoyed the food. We had the lemon chicken, burgers and sushi. All very good! The drinks were very good too! (Maybe a bit pricey but it is waterfront dining!) I HIGHLY recommend booking a reservation and 100% do it for sunset😍 I think this is a New York restaurant everyone should visit at least once to say they saw “Long Island’s Greece” 🫶 Definitely add to your summer bucketlist🌺
Wow! Make sure to get here on a Friday night. Beautiful ambiance. Feels like you're in Mykonos and not in a city. Food is great and the drinks are very tasty. Great music and decor. The lack of 5-stars is just that the temperature inside on an 80 degree night was not comfortable for my guests and some couldn't eat due to feeling ill. Be sure to choose outdoors on a nice night anyway. It is an absolute cool place!
Very busy on a very hot summer day. Unfortunately, I did not have any food but it smelled delicious. There was a DJ cranking out great tunes. People were dancing. The decor is great even though it’s in the middle of an industrial area. The water makes it more appealing for pics and the vibe. The best thing about this place, though, was the inside bartender Moises. He made all the drinks perfectly and swiftly despite being so busy. He even gave a great drink recommendation. I might consider going back there just because of him.
Let me start by saying that this is a beautiful restaurant in a lovely location. The decor was on point. The vibe was nice. It was like a club dining experience. The crowd was full of both older and younger people. Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. The bouncer was friendly. The drinks were nice and strong. However there are some things to consider: I went with one of the safest options on the menu and I was extremely disappointed. I decided on the lobster fettuccine and it was severely under seasoned. I don’t typically cook with salt yet I found myself adding salt and pepper to almost every bite. I wish it had more flavor. The ceviche tacos were delicious, as were the oysters. The plates, placemats and silverware were visibly dirty, and our waiter was generally no where to be found. He wasn’t very attentive at all. We found ourselves waiting forever for drinks and even to get his attention to ask for other things. Again, I enjoyed the atmosphere. There are plenty of photo opportunities if you are into that sort of thing. I would maybe consider this place more of an after dinner/lunch hangout spot.
I'd say 3.5 tops. Setting is nice on the water by the marina. There's a lot of seating. All that said, it wasn't very crowded on a beautiful Saturday night in June - probably because of some of the same issues that I saw. Service is friendly and cheerful but slow! The place does not seem to have a high focus on cleaning - the bathroom had signs of long-term lack of cleaning. Prices are a bit higher than the value - maybe bc they're on the water...
We were in Long Island for the day and stopped in here. Food was great, however the server we had was not very informative. We heard another server at a table close to us and heard about all the specials that way. Our server was polite and to the point but didn't elaborate on the menu. We enjoyed the food and view but was disappointed with the overall experience
Great beautiful restaurant by the water. I had the Mediterranean Dips, Tuna Tartare, Eel Avocado Roll, and Cove Calamari. Overall the food was great and had enough for leftovers but was quite disappointed that they forgot to pack the sauces that came with the food. Keep in mind you pay per dip for the Mediterranean dip platter and they only packed the pita bread. The calamari also came with a great sauce but they had not packed the remaining sauce we had. I didn't even need extra sauce, but I had a reasonable amount left.
The setting for the restaurant is lovely… views of the water….pretty lighting….and the dishes were good but its a false front for what the restaurant becomes once the clock strikes about 8pm. Thots… the line for the restroom….just ruins everything nice about it. The restaurant also may be understaffed or poorly managed because initially there’s good attention to the table but after 2 drinks the server just stops coming around and so we ended up not ordering another round of drinks and we flagged down the server for our bill.
I enjoyed the outdoor dining by the dock, and the decor was nice. However, the food left much to be desired. I ordered the steak and eggs, while my son had chicken fingers and fries. Unfortunately, the steak and eggs were bland, even though I requested chimichurri sauce to go with the steak. On a positive note, the margarita was quite good. I ordered a margarita on the rocks, but the menu only listed frozen margaritas. Because I asked for it on the rocks, they charged me an extra $4. I didn't appreciate that, as there was no indication on the menu that there would be an additional fee for this request. The server should have mentioned it, or it should have been clearly noted on the menu.
The Cove is definitely an aesthetic spot – perfect for drinks and pictures with its stylish setup and lively vibe. If you’re looking for a cute backdrop for Instagram and a fun cocktail or two, it’s worth a visit. But when it comes to the food, it was a huge letdown. Everything we ordered was bland, lacked seasoning, and felt like a total waste of money. For a place that puts so much effort into the ambiance, it’s disappointing that the food doesn’t match up. I’d only recommend going for the vibes and drinks – definitely not for the meal.
Went with a group of 10 friends. Service was decent. Appetizers were okay. Everyone’s dinners were extremely mediocre. Bland food they should read a cook book sometime and learn how to use spices. Certainly won’t be back
The only good thing about the place is the atmosphere. The food was salty and not tasty. Food can be expensive but if it doesn’t taste good, forget about it… On top of that, I got charge more for using my regular debit card. I have been to a lot of fancy restaurants on Long Island and never been charge more for using credit card. But mind you, my card was a debit… I don’t recommend this restaurant at all and there’s far more restaurants on Long Island that’s way nicer, way fancier, and way better tasty food. STAY AWAY.
We went by boat for lunch. It was a super hot day so everyone ate inside. The restaurant looked great. well decorated and outdoor tables were high quality and plentiful. BUT, everything on the menu was suited more for dinner than lunch. The only “sandwich items were a $30 hamburger which came with fries and ONE $40 lobster role with chips!! The lobster roll wasn’t even close to enough food so I ordered a “tuna role” which never came bc the waiter forgot to put in the order. I had to walk back to the kitchen to find out what was going on! There were at most 25 people in the restaurant. A sushi role finally came out but it wasn’t tuna. Oh, and the taps were not working so bottled beer only. Anyway, one hamburger which was decent, one lobster role which was totally underwhelming. Not much lobster, chips instead of fries and no coleslaw. (I mean cmon, how hard is it to produce a decent lobster roll?) two beers and a sushi roll ended up being $140. Too bad
Atmosphere was good but if you wanna go there eat something before because if you even pay 100 $ per person still you are gonna leave hungry lol look at this portion I never seen small portion like that before. Service was really awful and slow they are trying to get your plate even when you are still eating.Huge disappointment. I don’t know how this kind of businesses still making money. I will never go back.
I haven't written a review for a restaurant in a white, but i felt i had to it this time, atmosphere is great, beautiful place, we came Saturday night, the place was so packed, we actually had to park on the street and walk to a restaurant. Now, the main part, food is OK, nothing special, mildly putting it, we were waiting for our food about an hour and a half, didn't arrive until i actually asked the hostess to see a manager, i personally ordered lamb chops, for $51 i got 3 small lamb chops from Costco (no exaggeration), my son got a burger, which wasn't just undercooked, it was basically raw. I personally will never come back, but the place is lively and looks good.
At first, the photos and videos were captivating and sparked a strong desire to visit the place. They portrayed a stylish and refined atmosphere that piqued my interest. However, upon arrival, I found the reality to be quite different from what was initially depicted. That said, the staff were courteous and welcoming, and the host was both accommodating and insightful. The food was decent and enjoyable. While the venue didn’t fully align with the expectations set by its promotional media, it remains a lively and appealing spot—particularly well-suited for young adults looking for a casual hangout.
We went there on Father's day, the service was just fine, the food a little burn it, the lamb steak was just fine, the fries calamari ok, the rest of the food was just fine, nothing like you will wow, the DRINK BE CAREFUL, the margaritas the price was in Paper 18, the charge came to 26 each wow, I didn't want to make a big deal of it, but I dont like that for sure, those were the most expensive margaritas ever paid.....so please be careful, the place is nice but that's it.
Came here last weekend for dinner with my family, including our newborn, for a 7:45 reservation. Though it's billed as such in the description, I wouldn't exactly call this a family-friendly restaurant, not in the evening at least. We were seated inside and it was like dining at a nightclub. Loud edm music you need to shout over to be heard, club type patrons, long lines for the bathroom. Loud drunk conversations. I know, we live in a society and all that, but family friendly was the expectation. The parking lot kid at the gate with the Gen Z mop haircut is rude and dismissive, playing on his phone without a care for hospitality. The duo of bouncers were very cool and welcoming, although a bit of a red flag in itself (bouncers at a restaurant?) Waiter was professional and efficient, although extremely busy so we were a bit neglected. Food took a while, which made enduring the loud party atmosphere difficult, but it was excellent when it arrived. I got the lobster fettucine and enjoyed it. This is a great place for singles or a date or a fun night with friends, but not for the wife, kids and in laws. Not dinner at least.
Well…. where do I even begin? Waited an hour and a half to get our entrees - Just to get a raw burger that needed to be sent back. We got back a burger that didn’t have any of the toppings on it LOL. Food is awful. Lamb chops and chicken have zero flavor. Calamari tastes like it was bought from the nearest grocery stores frozen food aisle. I feel bad for the waiters, they probably have to take the heat for the mess this place is. But hey… at least the drinks were good, the view was cool, and I was shivering waiting for my food for an hour and a half. I know being cold is my own fault, but I could’ve been cold EATING FOOD. I LOVE THE COLD. Worst experience in a while.
Tasty food BUT Outrageously Horrible service!!! First time we were told first-cum-serve at patio. We were a group of 5 people, with 2 kids and reached around 6.30 evening 23rd of this month. The restaurant was packed. At patio gate, they outrightedly denied us they had tables and chairs/spots left. When I looked at her face, I had my doubts so I went and checked and “found one spot”. And I went and told the service member @patio gate, and she agreed! Imagine we were being turned away even before checking for spots!! Anyways we wanted to check out the seafood so we ordered at the patio - first appetizers/ drinks and we had to wait for it arrive. So it arrived 40-45 mins later! But guess what the waitress gives us no plates/napkins/ glasswares. We had to request/wait for another 30 mins just to get 4 plates and just 2 forks!! (No napkins/ no spoons - we were a group of five!!). I had to request 2 separate waiters “twice” to give us one extra plate and some spoons/forks/knives AND napkins!!! to comfortably have the food!! Didn’t see such a horrible service anywhere else, the restaurant does not care about the customer’s experience!! And that too never to try it on a special occasion (as it was my birthday I wanted to try seafood) it was a bad decision to go there. And icing on the cake - the main waitress switched our dinner bill with somebody else’s dinner bill, glad we checked before paying!! Update- Pretty sure - it’s the same restaurant we went and reviewed so far!
We were very excited to go to this restaurant and be transported to Greece, but unfortunately, this place did not live up to the hype. In fact, it did the opposite. We waited almost an hour before ordering, and then another hour until we got our food. Finally, we all got served, except one person who ordered the chicken caesar salad. A simple dish. After 15 minutes they brought out the salad with NO chicken, and apologized, saying they overcooked the chicken and will be bringing out the chicken separately. Another 10 minutes later, they brought out chicken, put it in her salad, and it was RAW. We were served RAW CHICKEN. We were absolutely stunned. Thankfully we did not eat it, and we were beyond frustrated we waited 25 minutes for a raw chicken salad. That is absolutely unacceptable, and I’m sorry to say, I really don’t recommend this place.
i quite litterally never leave reviews but I had to for this atrocious dining experience… I came here for my brothers 26th birthday. I was sketchy to come due to reading many reviews on how poor the service is here and I should have listened to them. I mainly came cause apparently the food made up for the poor performance of service and that couldn’t have been more wrong. I order the cove burger cooked medium, it came out extremely well done. The burger was so cooked all I could taste was burnt grill. When I ordered, I also asked for extra lemon aioli sauce (3 to be exact) since I am a burger & sauce enthusiast. Not only did they forget about my request, I asked our server again to bring it he forgot too again. 20 mins later I had to ask a third person, a food runner to bring it and then he finally brought it to our table. The portioning of fries was so depressing on the plate, the only thing that made this experience enjoyable was the peach smash drink I ordered. The drink is made with peach Burbon & was phenomenal but the food & service was extremely poor. The server never even introduced himself to us so i didn’t even know how to call for either server when me or my family needed something (we started with one server then ended up with another???). Moreover, no one ever even checked up on us to see if everything was fine when the food was at our table, we had to constantly call on any worker we saw for their attention just to help us. The “cherry on top” for us was how we made reservations, specifically stated the occasion was for a birthday and wanted a celebration after our meal, nothing. Absolutely nothing happened after 30-45 mins sitting down at the table when our meals were finished. We even brought it up to the servers attention when my father got up to go to the bathroom prior to sing happy birthday with a cake to my brother (we stated it in the reservation & also to our server while we were there). I don’t know if they’re understaffed here but I do not see myself coming back to this restaurant, ever. The worst part is we even brought all this up to the manager on shift & he offered us no type of compensation for the piss poor night we had. No comps, no discounts, no free drinks/ food, nothing. I’ve worked in the restaurant industry myself for almost a decade so I would say I’m more understanding than most when it comes to issues in a restaurant. However this place is Very unprofessional, provides Poor Service, has Bland Flavor, Very Minimal Seasoning, & the portion sizes are Cheap for the price tag. Do Not Waste Your Money Here!!! Definitely not worth the price & Most Definitely the worst experience I’ve ever had in a restaurant.
We went to dinner for my boyfriend’s birthday. I wrote specifically in the reservation that it was his birthday and they did not do the candles like everyone else got. We were put outside on the patio towards the corner. Our waiter did not introduce him himself nor did he tell us anything. I had to ask him if he was our waiter for the night. I felt like where we were seated we were in timeout because he never came to check in on us. We ordered an appetizer and we got the appetizer and it was delicious. Though our waiter never came back to even ask us what we wanted for dinner. It took 15 minutes to get him back to us. We had to ask someone to get him. I asked for a drink and he forgot multiple times. He never checked to see if the food was good nor if we needed anything. I spent a good amount of money but the service was not worth the money.
Very disappointed For the price that they charge this think ownership and management would take care of their customers. The FROZE was advertised on the menu as a specialty cocktail. No froze. Waiter lied to us and said that the machine was just getting warmed up. The machine was broken. Spoke to Phillip (manager) and he offered no compensation for the disappointment - not a shot, not a free drink, nothing. Will never be back and will make sure I encourage everyone I know to never return either.
The one thing i can say is that the fish was fresh and deserts not bad. Although my dourada fish was tiny, as were the oysters. Outside of that, the outdoor bar service was inattentive and my jalapeno margarita was horrible. Waited for our reserved table for 40min and had to ask multiple times as they forgot about our group. Table service was horrible and they all gave off impression they did not want to be there. All at a high pricepoint. These 3 couples won’t be back.
The octopus was a bit overcooked and it was bitter. The burger was also overcooked and bitter as well but because of the cheese on top that covers it, we didn’t see it. When we cut it, we see the bottom was dark and obviously overcooked. We didn’t finish the burger😅. The rest we finished but it’s because the price here was not cheap lol. The cove calamari was fine but a bit salty, and the seafood spaghetti was fine. That personally was the best of all compare to the other dish we have today personally. And also!!!!! We felt that we got treated differently. The attitude wasn’t good. Maybe because that person think we are Asian and won’t give tips? IDK but we didn’t have a good experience here today.
Absolutely horrible place. Arrived while a lot of people were actively leaving and was still told “no one is being let in due to crowding.” Once inside, it was obvious the issue wasn’t capacity, the room was thinning out by the minute. The problem wasn’t the wait, it was the lack of honesty and clarity. If entry is being paused for pacing or staff reasons, just say that. Using “crowding” as a blanket excuse when the place is visibly emptying out comes off as disingenuous and unnecessary. There’s a difference between managing a door and playing games. This was the latter. Plenty of venues handle busy nights without misleading customers this one didn’t.
Service was horrible. We had an 8.45 reservation and got seated 940p. I had to leave my table several times to look for a waiter for a refill on our beverages . Kudos to the bartender he made a dynamic dirty martini. I was so disappointed with the food I didnt touch my dinner . Looks like my 10 yrs old plated it . The music is very loud you have to shout to hear each other . However the restaurant is beautiful. We reserved a table for 10 for my husband 55th birthday . This restaurant is more of younger individuals early 20s . Drinks fantastic . Food not good . Service was horrible . Ambiance its beautiful
Was sat at table 73 I asked the kid who took us to the table if we can move by the water since it was our anniversary. He said no because the tables are only for 4 people.. server took our order and never returned. The food was amazing and saved the night. I finally found the waiter texting in the rest room . To top it off the hostess sat 2 parties of 2 by the water. We will try again because of the food. Hope you make the changes needed. If you spend 200 with a tip you shouldn’t have to track your server down.
