My husband and I love coming to this place. The atmosphere is so relaxed and the food is great! We always get authentic Thai Tea and spring roll appetizers with peanut sauce. Service is always really great too!
Ladies and gents ill tell you what, I have lived here in Watertown for 3 years and I have failed myself for just now eating here for the first time. There was a mixup with us ordering on UberEats on our drivers end which resulted in my family not getting our food (almost 2 hours later). We were quite what the young kids call now a days "hangry". I ordered a "super" sized bowl of brisket pho and it really was super sized and I ate the whole thing, the food was so good that I forgot that it was almost 2 hours late and now all I want to do is take a nap. Thanks for making good food and please start offering full gallons.
The food is always amazing. Fresh and something different. Had exceptionally good service from Ryan today. Highly reccomend this place, try the Pho and some spring rolls!
I used to eat here all the time before I moved and if I’m ever in the area I’ll definitely visit again. The food is delicious and the place itself is kept clean and nice. Love their pork spring rolls, pork vermicelli bowl and they’re strawberry boba.
I love this place. The pho is amazing, and everything tastes great. The broth tastes amazing, and the staff are so nice! The lady who served us is kinda like the cool aunt i never had. Love this place, hope to come back soon. ✌🏻
Had Birthday lunch at Lotus today. The Pho is really good! A small bowl easily feeds a person. Fresh ingredients of Thai basil, bean sprouts, jalapeno peppers, are brought to the table, to add to the bowl of delicious noodles and meat. Our waitress was delightful as well. Will be back for sure.
Boba tea is delicious. Pho soup fresh with vegetables that taste like they are picked today. Service friendly and fast. Everything was tasty and plentiful. I don't know what those reviews are talking about when they say portions are small or sauces are watered down. I didn't taste or see any negative items.
This is a good place to try! We had the shrimp dumplings, which were delicious, and house special pho. We had our 2-year-old with us, and the server was super accommodating and kind (even gave him a toy to play with). Glad we found a place to get decent pho!
This place deserves to be packed with customers, its very underrated and its sad no one has heard about it. The pho is amazing such a large portion for a great price and I crave the spring rolls all the time. Its a quiet calm atmosphere but feels awkward when its empty.
Continues to be one of my absolute favorite restaurants in the area! I’ve been coming since it opened in the PC Plaza and even though they’re under new owners, it’s just as great and I have never had a bad experience. The wait staff is so polite and sweet, it really adds to the experience every time you go. 5 stars always! :)
Finally, I found a healthy and very tasty restaurant in New York that I truly can rave about. Try their Pho, you will not regret it. It's located in Watertown and has a great authentic ambiance. Great for larger groups too and the staff is extremely friendly. No need to ask for refills of your drink, they keep them coming. I have already been here quite a few times and will definitely be back on the regular.
We went there when I was pretty busy and it took them over an hour To service we never received the food that we ordered but the food that other people had looked delicious. We just got tired of waiting and left just over an hour. It's been a few months and I wanted to update the review. This place usually stays pretty busy but I've finally been able to go here and eat their food and I don't think I'll go anywhere else. The other reviews are not exaggerated everything they make is just freaking delicious. Just be careful not to go when it's too busy.
I recently came into lotus just to try something different and I was pleasantly surprised and very impressed! The food had so much flavor and the service was great! Will definitely come back time and time again!!
I love the broth at this place it might change from week to week But the difference is minor. A love a place that's not afraid to use joint meat from various animals to feed my gluttonous appetite for giant bowls of food. Being the only restaurant of its kind in town has not made their food go down in quality. I will continue to come here and burn my mouth because of my lack of patience
Greatest pho in the Northern Area. I love eating here!!
Lotus has been my favorite local restaurant for over a decade. A must-try if you're visiting or haven't experienced Vietnamese cuisine before. Service is always friendly, efficient, attentive and personable. Food always tastes fresh and is served at perfect temperatures. Flavorful combinations and a variety of options, too. Favorites are the chicken pho with glass or egg noodles, traditional Thai tea or coffee, fried rice and tofu or with chicken wings, and grilled pork vermicelli Restaurant is clean and comfortable, with the exception of some of the booths (couldn't bring myself to give less than 5 stars though). Some new seating could be helpful to enhance the experience (your kids will love the bounciness though). I always support local and am grateful for the staff who've been working hard to keep the place going all these years! It'll continue to be my favorite spot for years to come; all my friends and family know that and now, my own daughter loves to join me for a special night out to dinner a few times a month. Consider me a very happy and local customer!
The food was amazing. My favorite is the porkchop fried rice. Very tasty. Egg rolls were fresh and crispy. Good stuff. The staff looks like they work super hard. Got a peak at the kitchen from where I sat and I could only see two people back there and it was wicked busy. Tons of people. One of the kitchen staff even came out to help the waitress gather the dishes. Hopefully this restaurant can hire more staff. Heard someone say it was taking too long for their order. Great place. Would highly recommend.
I called in for a pick up order and they put me on hold the entire car ride to Watertown, and when I called back, they hung up on me twice. Wasn’t happy but dined in bc the food is excellent. Was starving when I called so I was def hangry when they hung up. But overall, I’ll always eat here. The owner is very nice too.
My wife and I come to eat almost every week but things are slowly going downhill ever since new ownership. First and the biggest complaint is the broth. It has become so watered down that it’s almost a flavorless. Second is the Fresh Rolls. The previous owners used to roll them to be huge. Now they are so small it’s a joke. The peanut dipping sauce has also been watered down as well. The future for this restaurant will not be bright if they continue watering down all their food. I hope that they realize their mistake and correct it before they scare away all their customers. Edit: They fixed their stuff. Everything is good now. Owners are friendly.
This is the best pho I have tried and definitely a stand out for Asian food in the area. The Pho soup is comforting for a cold Fort Drum day but not too heavy. I also enjoyed the peanut sauce that came with my spring rolls. Give this place a try! :)
Was recommended by a friend and glad I came. The food was fresh and the setting is really nice. Had a friend who used to work there a while back. Says the boss is a ball breaker. Told me they usually only ever had two people working in the back and that they had to cook, clean and do prep work! Told me it’s because people keep quitting so they’re short staffed a lot. Guy should think about hiring more people. Especially if it’s getting as busy as it was the day I was there. I read a review that claims that the service is slow so that’s probably why. Then again I also read a review that claims that the foods frozen which is a load of BS. I grew up near Chinatown. I know the difference between fresh and frozen and this is fresh so don’t believe the people claiming it’s not. Would recommend and will definitely be stopping in for seconds.
Their food is amazing!!! I went here on Monday with my Aunt for the first time and I have to say it is my new favorite place to eat. Our waitress was great she helped us figure out what we wanted and the prices are decent and you get a lot. We ordered the shrimp dumplings and they were delicious and the sauce was so good. Please visit here if you haven’t been or if you are wanting to try a different variety of food.
Absolutely delicious!! Especially the spring rolls and shrimp dumplings!!!! The pho was really good and highly recommend the lemongrass shrimp. We had already downed the appetizers before I got a photo of them. The photo is a large pho bowl which is a sizable portion. The bowl is about 6 inches in diameter and 3-4 inches tall.
I was looking to try something different and saw this place. After checking the reviews I got pretty excited by the reviews but what sold me were the two bad reviews by a group of two that allegedly ate there weekly for four years and then suddenly decided to do a bad review. Oh and one other one by who seemed like a scammer. Ate here with my wife and she got the pho and I got a vermacelli bowl. We both loved ours and I'm so full from mine that I may have to be rolled out of here. I'll be back. Also the spring rolls are giant!
My partner and I often come for lunch, their pho and banh xeo are both fantastic! The staff are also very friendly and the music always hits
I love the food here, it is so good. I wish it was closer to home so we could get it more often. Definitely worth the trip!
Absolutely delicious! We found our new lunch spot. Portions are generous, flavor is amazing. We ordered the beef pho, chicken vermicelli, and also kids portion chicken vermicelli bowl. We were seated right away on a Saturday for lunch, and our server was kind and prompt. Can’t wait for our next visit.
I tried this place out for the first time today ! I can’t eat pho due to health restrictions but I tried the beef ball soup with no pho and it was genuinely one of the best things I have ever eaten. When I called the store, I accidentally ordered the wrong thing and when I called the store back to let them know what I had done they were more than happy to accommodate and change my order. Very nice staff and absolutely delicious food!!
My favorite place to get my pho fix! The food is delicious and they always make sure that I am satisfied with my order. Not to mention top tier matcha and milk teas
I’ve wanted to come here for a while now and I’m glad I did. My favorite cuisine is Vietnamese, so I’ve eaten a lot of pho, both homemade and restaurant. I got their traditional pho bowl which came with sliced beef, brisket, and beef meatballs. The broth was excellent, and it came with plenty of noodles and bean sprouts on the side. The beef was good but I wasn’t personally a fan of the beef meatballs. The pho comes in 3 different sizes; I got medium. It’s priced well at ~$14. The restaurant itself was empty but to no fault of their own: not many people are looking to eat hot broth at 3:00pm on a Thursday. Although, it would have been nice to have some liveliness in the place. They were also playing Black Panther on tv and had music playing, which was a bit much, but great movie choice! The food was definitely the highlight!
First off, the food is good, great portions. The staff is friendly and efficient in a somewhat bohemian way. The kitchen staff are Vietnamese and produce excelent products, though it would be nice to see them more in the front of the house to interact with the customers. The place is clean and has a nice atmosphere, overall a welcome change from the usual corporate institutional operations being offered. We keep going!
Not many places I know of in the area that have Pho. Great broth, great flavor. The noodles were cooked well and a good amount of them. Lots of types of noodles to choose from and ample choices of protein for the pho as well. Three sizes for your bowl from $9-12. Friendly service, clean inside and when we got there at 8PM there was just 2 other tables so it was quite. Some nice non-alcoholic drinks including bubble tea. I would eat here again as the service and food were very good. Also this place is a pokestop if interested.
Loved the boba teas❤️ The teas were my favorite item. The bathroom was very clean. The staff was very friendly. Not the best restaurant i've ever been but certainly not the worst.
During our lovely visit to Watertown, we had the pleasure of exploring a Vietnamese restaurant. The warm welcome from the locals set the tone for a delightful experience. Arriving an hour before closing, we found the place pleasantly serene, allowing us to savor our meal without any rush. The menu boasted a wide array of pho options, surprising us with the diverse selection available in this charming town. Opting for rolls and veggie pho with meat broth, we were delighted by the flavorful broth and the freshness of the ingredients in our bowls. The large portion size came as a pleasant surprise, offering great value at a reasonable price point. While the interior decor was simple yet tasteful, it complemented the overall dining experience. Overall, our visit to the Vietnamese restaurant was a delightful one, featuring delicious food, generous portions, friendly locals, and affordable prices.
I've been wanting to try Lotus for a long time, and I was not disappointed. My friend and I shared an app, shrimp dumplings. These had a weird, sticky texture, but they were tasty. For my entree, I got the shrimp rice plate. The shrimp were plentiful and grilled to perfection. They didn't really need the dipping sauce, but I dipped them anyway. The jasmine rice was good as well, but there was way too much to finish. My dining partner had their house special pho, with three kinds of meat. He ordered a medium sized bowl, but it was humongous!!! He thoroughly enjoyed the soup. Service was polite and the atmosphere was casual and pleasant.
The pho is pretty good but watch out for surprise up-charges not listed on the menu.
I loved Lotus. So I decided to give it another swirl. The portions are back on track but THEY FRIED their shrimp in the vermicelli bowl. They were chewy and dry. Why did they stop grilling them? Another owner? Another cook? Why Lotus? Why? It will be Pho from now on.
Best sticky white rice I've had ever! But the chicken tenders in asian sauce that came with it threw me off. Their dumpling sauce is amazing, but they fry the shrimp dumplings way too hard. Other than that really good!
Great food. But lately me and my family have came here and the staff have been MISERABLE to us. Also some very long waits. Most of the time there is only 2 girls setting tables there too! They just need more help. One time we were going to do a pickup and my mother called for them to not answer THREE times in a row and finally when they answered they were nasty and rude to us. Waitress’s need a serious mood check. When we picked up the food after, the place was completely empty, so they must not have been to busy. If your coming here for good service, good luck, the foods great though
Just moved here & being Vietnamese myself, was excited to find this place. It was my first time eating here & the food took a little long to come out. The server was nice & apologized, but I do think they are short staffed in the kitchen, so that could be why. Was disappointed with the Pho, as the broth was not very flavorful & a little bland. I ended up just using a lot of Hoisin sauce to somewhat "make up" for it. I noticed most of the reviews about the Pho are good, but also because most of the customers are Cacausian & genuinely don't know how it's supposed to taste like. Its sad to say because Pho is usually the Star of any Vietnamese restaurant. Luckily, the Banh Xeo (Vietnamese crepe) was delish & so was their Nuoc Mam (the sauce for it - because the sauce is what brings it all together) We also had the Chicken wings & pork chop, which was flavorful. While the pork chops were good, it was not authentic Vietnamese style. We finished off our meal with Taro Boba slush & was a little caught off guard. It's very different from most Boba, as it is more milky & cream based. It was very light & you could barely taste the Taro flavor. My daughter had the Mango Boba & while she also agreed that it was different, she actually enjoyed it...so, it just depends on personal preference. Overall, will not be coming here for the Pho, but will definitely be back for the other foods that I mentioned were good. Hopefully the service will be much faster the next time!
We really want to give this local restaurant a higher rating but just can’t. We were there a solid 10 minutes before we were given menus. Another 15 before our orders were taken. 30 minutes later one member of our party got his food. 10 minutes later two more members of our party got theirs. Another 10 minutes went by before the rest of us got our food. That’s about 20 minutes to serve 6 meals. My food was placed at the end of the table. My companions had to pass it to me. There were no apologies for the long delay. Our server was wearing gloves but her very long fingernail was sticking through. She never checked back to ask if everything was ok. The food was ok. Not bad, not great. The rice was dry with a hard clump in it. The dining room is clean and seating is comfortable. The fireplace in the dining room is nice. There’s no reason though to have the TV above it. If we wanted to watch TV while we ate we’d stay home.
Pho soup noodles were great but the staff of one person managing the entire dining room was overwhelmed at around 5pm on a Saturday night. We were served our soup with no spoons. We waited about 5 minutes while our soup was getting cold before spoons were brought. The restaurant had no music playing and the telephone in the front kept ringing with no one answering... and this was an old school phone with a really loud ringer like in a 1980s slasher movie scene. The service at this place is a horror show. Poor management and terrible ambience. Order takeout.
This was just...really embarrassing. Tried to make a reservation 3 times, first 2 calls no answer and the third time was in hold for over 5 minutes. I just decided to hang up and eat in with my cousin. Upon arrival we noticed only a few tables where taken and after a few minute wait we where seated and got our drinks. The only server there was a girl of Highschool age was running the entire dinning room which is small. She obviously seemed stressed and upset like us entering to eat was a bother to her when she only had 3 tables . We ordered and as someone who loves pho and even worked in a Vietnamese restaurant for a lengthy period of time I made a point to ask for my meat raw on the side. When our pho came out not how I asked and when I asked her our server about it She said “oh I’m sorry I forgot to tell the cooks” she went to the back to have it fixed they where upset at her and then she proceeded to YELL at the cooks and LIE saying that I had “just told her” when she brought my food out I wanted my meat on the side and that it “wasn’t her fault” She then from that moment on was EXTREMELY rude to me the rest of the night. DONT get the seafood pho it’s honestly nasty and tastes like rotting fish marina water. The House Pho was ok except the tripe tasted old. But the shrimp dumplings where very very good they are the only reason I’m giving 2 stars instead of one star. Our server honestly killed any hope didn’t even ask how everything was and forgot everything from water to silverware to sauce her actions and attire was pretty unprofessional as she wore a Pulaski hoodie and it was clear this was the only place that would hire her. Sorry that sounds harsh but I’m around the same age as her and would NEVER treat a coworker or a CUSTOMER like that.
We tried this place on three separate occasions, and were not impressed. Small portions for the price, the Pho was more broth than fillings and the food, while edible, is not what I consider to be very good. I lived in Southeast Asia for a decade and am very familiar with authentic Vietnamese, Thai, Lao, Cambodian and Chinese food. Sorry for a less-than-stellar review, but what can I say?
I’ve been here many times and the food is always good, but this last time I went with my son and we waited over an hour for our food. The waitress never checked our table and our food never came out. We ended up leaving.
I love this place but my last couple orders have had problems. I order Pho but they seem to always run out of sprouts and basil etc which makes the soup pretty blah. Not to mention the last time I picked up my food they were missing items, they gave my food to someone else and I sat there waiting quite a while to get it fixed. There seems to be a huge disconnect in communication between the staff. I'm taking a break from them. I love Pho but it's just not worth it.
EDIT: I had to lower my rating because not only was the service extremely slow but the pho was bland and the noodles were cut up and clumped together. This was my birthday meal because all I wanted was good pho and I was so let down. I don’t know what they changed in the past couple years but they need to fix it. Pho was delicious and toppings were generous. I got a large so I could have some for tomorrow but I ate the whole thing 😅
I went in to place a take out order today. Hostess was on the phone on speaker while the person on the phone was yelling, and I was told to wait while she spoke on the phone. I ordered my favorite that I usually have, the fried egg roll vermicelli bowl that is *printed on the menu*, and she told me that they don’t have an egg roll bowl, I can only add egg rolls to the other bowls for $2 extra. No silverware in the bag either. I love this place but not the best experience unfortunately
Been coming here for almost 2 years. The staff are always so rude, and in a bad mood. Whether you call in to place your order, or dine in they’re always rude. There is a young lady with really short hair who is very kind, and sweet, but besides her the rest of the staff are so rude for no reason.
This is the worse experience I ever had in this location this is my favorite spot. And it's sad to see how iwd going under. My pho was extremely cold, with half of the broth it usually comes with. The basil didn't even cook I requested extra lime and she brought me 2 small squares. Our shrimp fried rice took about 35 minutes top come out plus another 10 more minutes for our 3 wings and rice. The fried rice was extremely greasy and cold I requested extra onions and there wasn't any onions. She never came by to check on our ourdes. My husbands chicken wings were uneatenabe the wings were under cook you could see the pink once you bit on the wings. I brought it to her attention and she didn't even say Im sorry for the inconvenience. We've been here multiple times at least once at week and we have never had an issue with our orders until today. It's disgusting and disappointed because we know this is the best best vietnamese food in town. 🤢🤢🤢🤢🤮🤮🤮🤮
Ordered egg rolls and shrimp fried rice no veggies due to being allergic to peas, I noticed the waitress didn’t write anything down while taking my order. The egg rolls came and they were delicious and hot. The problem started when the shrimp fried rice came. The waitress said I forgot to tell him no veggies so I told her I was allergic and she took the plate back. She comes back with it and low and behold it still has veggies in it and on top of that it looks like they cleared picked the veggies out and sent it back, it was cold and looked pick through. I have eaten here before but now I’ll never come back. Unsafe for people with allergies and untrustworthy staff.
I ordered a Togo for a Pho with brisket and meatball as well as a fried rice. I recall the woman saying to give her a second in between ordering the two so I knew she was entering it in. When I came to pick it up, they did not enter my fried rice and it was only the pho. I understand they were busy so I didn’t mind, however, when I got home, neither the meatball or brisket was in the box, but rather tendon. Disappointed with my experience. They were very nice, but that’s about the only positive.
I’m a regular customer here but today the food taste very blunt and I ordered pho ,fried rice, beef rice plate and vermicelli tofu the taste is different maybe they hired a new cook. When I went in the bathroom it wasn’t even clean. The fried rice it wasn’t really cook and the tofu is kinda saggy.pho is watery. The beef was overcook and chewy omg!!!!!! For the price I pay it wasnt worth it..next time I will just go to the Chinese place next door… I don’t know what happened but the taste of the food went from great to bluh..🤢
DO NOT EAT HERE!!! I went with my friend to eat inside the Resturant and near the middle to end of our meal I went to pick up my utensils and there was a ROACH on my chop sticks and I freaked out and it crawled on ME and then on the seat where I was sitting where I was able to snap a picture of it and what was said was “here’s what we’re gonna do, the meal is on us and you’re good to go, we’ll take care it, have a nice day.”
We came in and were greeted by a polite brunette who took our order for drinks to go. We decided on getting almond slushy boba and a regular thai tea with boba. Waited between 5-10 minutes then our drinks were brought to us by a blonde waitress. We thanked them both and as I walked out the door I tried drink to find that it was cold but had no ice in it (or ice bits like in the case of a frappe like drink). I turned around and confirmed my order with the brunette waitress who agreed that I ordered an almond slushy version. The blonde says “well, I blended it”, I look at the brunette and say, I didn’t expect the drink to be milkshake consistency but it needs to be smoothie consistency. The blonde cuts me off to look at the brunette and tells her to re-make it, turned around and walked off in a huff. The brunette said “I guess I will remake it” and walks off. We hear a blender go off this time and the brunette walks back with a slushed almond drink. Now while I did look at the menu and find several things that I thought I would come back to try, I am happy to announce that I will never spend anymore money there. Here is why: 1) They incorrectly made my drink but when I brought it to their attention they insisted that it was made correctly. 2) After I pressed the matter, the staff member got exasperated with me and demanded that her co-worker remake the drink because she had made it right the first time. 3) No apologies for the inconvenience or inappropriate attitude. Thanks for nothing Lotus, cause the almond powder didn’t dissolve all the way and I am gonna remake it at home with ice 👍
Food takes forever, the seats are broken and booths move, it’s often very cold in there so bring your jacket or wear a hoodie. Takes forever to get your food even when it’s not busy, staff doesn’t check up on you. Portions are small for the price, also over priced in my opinion. Egg rolls were definitely frozen, and my vegetables were a garnish at best.
This use to be my favorite place to go seeing how I love soup. Sometime within ghe past couple months they changed owners and it has dramatically gone down hill. The only good thing that has changes was the restaurant had got some updates with the decore. We have gone 3 different times within the past two months and the food was horrible. The egg friend rice with two fried eggs now is a vegetable rice that is very dry and some how has no flavor even with the vegetables in it. I ALWAYS order the the shrimp and pork pho which I loved. Yes, I would add some saracha and the lime, however the brooth use to have its own flavor too. Now, the brooth is flavorless. I truly feel like it is only water within the bowl and then they add the noodles in it. If the new owner doesn't start changing back to some of the old recipes, I can see this restaurant closing rather quickly.
We really wanted to like this place with so few food options in the area. The food looked and smelled like it would be good. We tried it over the weekend and unfortunately after my husband took a few bites of his stir fry, he went to take a sip of his soup and after he did, saw a small baby roach float to the top. Obviously a complete turn off and very disgusting. I had no issue requesting a refund as they saw it for themselves and went to the back to show and tell the cooks “no good”. Then it took them 20 minutes to figure out how to refund the money back on my card. I was told it “should” be refunded the next day. In which it had been 5 days and no refund so I had to go back and get my refund in cash.
If I could give it a zero star, I would. Got seated. Server helped 2 groups that showed up after me before she got to my order. Then half way into my meal, found a hair in my pho. I knew it could be mine because it was longer than my hair for one and two, I was wearing a baseball cap. I told the server, I will agree to pay for my bubble tea and egg rolls but I felt discussed when I saw the hair. Stopped eating and told the server to take it away immediately. Quality of the food definitely went down over the years. I wished there was another pho restaurant in the area.
My family had a terrible experience… I never review but so much different than two years ago! Some highlights: -2/5 meals came 30 min late -one meal inedible -P1 Pho not bad, stick with this and your probably in the clear -dead roach (medium size) at my feet -my kids said boba was just ok -plastic ramekin of sauce provided with seemingly every item has a moderate “fishy ” essence…
Waited 30 minutes for an order of spring rolls. I asked where my food was and they literally forgot about it.
They gave my order to someone else and then told me that was between me and DoorDash. Would give 0 stars if I could
It's not bad but far from great. The pho sucks now. The broth went to crap. It's so watery and bland. It doesn't taste as good as it used to. They started cutting how much meat they put in things. My son ordered chicken fried rice, and there were 5 small cubes of chicken in the whole thing. I ordered vermicelli. It was a very small piece of beef. Overall, it's not bad, but I don't come as often as I used to. It's been a couple of months, and I'm not getting any better. I had a house Pho. The broth is so bland. It was tasted really watery. The broth is supposed to be the best part. I think this is the last time I'm coming here.
Had the beef brisket pho to go. Yuck so disappointing. The broth had noooo flavor. Bland. Some veggies had some black spots on the leave. And meat on the side that was a bit rare (pinkish). I don't know if it's supposed to be like that but I'm skeptical. Service was good. But overall the food was very disappointing. Not eating here again.
the first time they gave me such bad service 🤦🏻♀️ She never brought us the refill we asked for of the soda until the Ice turned into water 🤦🏻♀️ she never went to the table to ask if everything was okay or if we needed something or remove the plate 🤦🏻♀️ my son got his plate wrong, he had to change it and I waited 1 hour waiting for my plate and my son ask her about my plate I think it would never arrive 🤦🏻♀️ new people arrived and They served them before and they left before and the delivery orders came out and I was still without my order and I was there for an hour 🤦🏻♀️ The waitress's service was terrible, I don't know what happened to us Totally disapointed...Change my Mind about this place 😞 Never Again Sorry !!!
Waited over 15 minutes and was not acknowledged once by staff. One server made eye contact with me 3 separate times and didn’t come over to even ask my purpose of visit.
As a Vietnamese I’m not a picky eater at all, it’s either not as good or really good in general. But food here was not tasty AT ALL. There is only one kind of pork for our meals, whether in spring rolls, rice dish, noodle dish, the same exact kind. My husband called dumplings not knowing it’s all shrimps and we weren’t aware. The fish sauce come with our meals were pretty much just water base, no fish sauce at all. I asked for no chili fish sauce for my son, and the waitress ask “fish oil?” Like no I mean fish sauce. Over all it’s just so bad I can’t even explain
Very rude staff. And very snappy. They didn’t like the fact that we didn’t like our black vegetables in our pho and instead, got a learning lesson on what cauliflower was. As if we were slow. Won’t be back.
I was visiting in the area and was craving for pho. I read all the positive reviews and was excited to give this restaurant a try. I was so disappointed. The Summer Rolls were very wide and 1/2 was filled with lettuce. The lettuce was not green, and it looked like leftover lettuce. The peanut dipping sauce was very runny with a very light taste, and it should be thicker and flavorful. I gave up on the Summer Rolls and started eating the pho. It looked great, but unfortunately, look was very deceiving. The broth has so little flavor and I had to add the brown sauce and hot sauce to add flavor to the broth. The papaya babo drink I got didn't taste like papaya at all. One good thing is that my dog did like the chicken from the pho. Instead of slicing the chicken, it was shredded in thick pieces. The hostesses were very friendly and informative. The restaurant was clean. Unfortunately I don't like the food. I wouldn't eat here again if I ever find myself traveling in the area again.
Used to love this place, not sure what changed but downhill for sure. Twice now my wife has picked up take out and the portions have shrunk. They give us less stuff for two large pho than they do for one in store. Stinks because we were going here at least twice a month. Done with them now.
I have come to Lotus to order A vegetarian Pho.I got it alright.Thats was a bowl filled with rice noodles some veggies, tofu WITH NO FLAVOR???To be precise no veggies broth ,no spice? When I had asked a young waitress regarding the taste of the dish:She would reply "But it's vegetarian!!!' Please excuse me any dish would have a certain taste to it! and this was just blunt and nothing more not even a spices??? Ok ??? I then asked to change it with a vegetarian stir fry with no eggs Same issue it's not even stir fry cooked.Plus when I had expessy opinion suddenly the have an attitude saying I'm rude when I say that???Not Recommended this outfit
Me and my girlfriend would go to this place many times. This time though, the waitress took our order made us wait 30min for our drinks came back forgot to put our order in put it in waited another 45min came back saying they didn’t have what we ordered offered other options one of the options being what we ordered made us wait another hour and complimented our drinks but after 2+ hours no food. They tried apologizing so we said we aren’t interested anymore and left. The worst it has ever been it use to be so good but now not even worth it.
Steadily going down hill after changing ownership many times. No peanut sauce with spring rolls which were not rolls but giant blobs. Daikon and carrot are no longer pickled, i could go on and on. I have been going to the lotus for over 15 years. This place only gets business form being the only vietnamese in a 100 mile radius. quality is bad news
In the past few months ,I almost came here once a week, and today everything changes, first:once I taste the soup, it’s lighter than hot water, ,and the chefs saying that’s how they make soup everyday, but I can tell the differences between what they used taste, second: I ask for extra meats and they charged me 3.6 each meat which last time I paid 4.99 or 5.99for extra meats,I wish I can rate a 0 star. I’m really disappointed, will never come to this place again, it’s really terrible experience.
