Excellent donuts. My group loved their Bismarck cinnamon rolls. But as others have said, they can sell out if you get there too late. We got there around 9 AM on Saturday and they still had plenty left, but we’re mostly sold out when we arrived closer to 11 on another day.

I see some negative reviews on this place but let me tell you. The coffee and the donuts outshine anything or any complaint about this place. I have been coming to this place for years and Hands down - THE BEST DONUTS - in the world. And I say that having lived in NYC and travelled all over. Whether you get a chocolate glazed or a bizmark - these donuts are soft, melt in your mouth, made in house, and simply the best. Makes magical places like Watkins Glen even more special.

A gem in Watkins Glen! Only open for breakfast from 6a-12pm so go in the am. Great, tasty and simple breakfast options- eggs , sausage, corned beef hash, omelettes, breakfast sandwiches and toast. Donuts were amazing- light, fluffy and delicious. We had the bizmark (cinnamon roll) and glazed cream cheese donut which were both excellent. Service was excellent- staff were all very friendly, speedy and good with kids. Will def recommend to friends and visit again!

I would post a photo of the delicious donut I got but I ate it too fast for a photo shoot. I got the chocolate frosted donut with sprinkles and it was probably the best one I’ve ever had. I have to commend this place bc despite being hectic and busy they handled it really well. Not a large place so a little cramped but for obvious reasons. The guy working the counter was extremely pleasant. The breakfast sandwiches were also really good! The bacon could be a little crispier though. I would absolutely stop back here for next years race. My only complaint is the coffee was very underwhelming… if this place got good coffee they would be unstoppable haha.

Cute little cafe and donut shop in a great location just off of Franklin St, which can get busy in the summer months. Very friendly and welcoming staff! Beautiful flowers arranged on the deck and we loved the outdoor seating option. Love that it is also pet-friendly! The food is delicious- the cinnamon buns and breakfast sandwiches were some of our favorites!

Our waitress had her first day today and honestly we couldn’t tell until she told us.everyone was very nice, and wait staff unfortunately has to handle rude customers that walked in 15 mins after us but did so very well. Food was amazing, and the doughnuts were to die for !:)

We didn't get our server's name but she was so awesome. Sweet, friendly and got our order right. You know it's a great place when a large group of EMT"s are eating there. Looking forward to our next visit.

Best donuts I have ever had, and the best little restaurant and diner in town. Omelets are awesome. They even give you free refills on your coffee and a to go cup if you want one.

Sweet mother of God. Never again will I be able to crunch into a chain donut store donut and feel joy. I’m cursed with the knowledge that tobeys donuts, 5 hours away from me, is the only place to get an authentic donut experience. Even now as I bite into my donut, I am filled with sadness knowing that no other donut will ever be able to compare to this place. I am enlightened at a cost.

Found this jem in my travels. Best donuts I have ever had and I have had my fare share of them. The food was very good. So happy i found this hidden jem.

Wish I had taken a picture of THE best donut I’ve ever had (and trust me, I know donuts): Peanut butter and jelly. A PERFECT jelly donut with a healthy “icing” of peanut butter on top. Eaten before hiking the Gorge trail; wish I’d picked up a few extras.

Phenomenal fresh donuts, mediocre coffee, but definitely worth the stop in Watkins Glen. The donuts are fluffy and sweet, but not cloying. Would highly recommend the chocolate frosted donut, the eclair, and the cinnamon sugar. For me, the star was the sour cream donut; it was rich, sweet, and with a hint of tang. Enjoyed the outdoor seating area.Will return when back in the FLX.

My husband and I loved the vibe of this place! We both got donuts and omelettes. The omelettes and coffee were very good, my husband got the chocolate peanut donut and said it was the best donut he’s ever had.

Camping and hiking at Watkins Glen State Park for the weekend and wanted a great breakfast. Google did not disappoint. We didn't have the donuts, but they looked delicious in the case! We had an omelette and and egg/bacon/toast breakfast. Delicious! We will definitely stop by again when we are in Watkins Glen, hopefully for donuts next time!

This is the best donut shop around! The donuts are fresh baked every morning, and there's so many different varieties that you can't just choose one! They have great options for kids and adults alike. My recommendation will forever be the Bizmark! They also offer sit-down breakfast options, an outdoor dining area, and a beautiful corner view of downtown Watkins.

We were in Watkins Glen visiting from South Carolina. A fellow church member in SC grew up in WG. She got her wedding cake at Tobey's many years ago. We had to stop in while we were here. Got a few different varieties of donuts. They were very good.

Stayed in the Finger Lakes for a girls weekend. We got breakfast from Tobey’s both days we were there. Super friendly staff. Amazing breakfast sandwiches! We got them on Kaiser rolls, and they were so fresh & delicious!! We also got donuts. Oh my lord!!!! They were out of this world delicious!!! I live 4 hours away, and I’d drive back just to get the donuts!! (Sorry no pictures of them, we ate them too quick!)

This is a great shop with delicious food made just the way I wanted. I tried to take a picture of my meal, but it was too hard to stop eating it. Oh, well! You'll have to settle for a picture of my half eaten meal. This is a lovely area to visit. I am staying in the Sugar Hill State Forest where there is free camping and great trails for horseback riding. Finger Lakes National Forest is also nearby. Lots of great places for a nomad and traveling storyteller to to enjoy. I suspect I'll visit all of these places again.

Awesome Donuts! First time in Watkins Glen and found this cute place around noon and they close at 1. So the selection of donuts was somewhat limited but what we got was very good. The Bizmark - a cinnamon roll iced with vanilla frosting - was pretty special. Awesome fluffy texture! Loved this shop!

Tibet’s Donut Shop lives up to the reviews. 1. The girls at the shop are very nice, genuine, and pleasant. 2. Clean and comfortable seats and tables. 3. Delicious foods! I had Chorizo omelette and it was one of the best omelette I’ve ever had! No exaggeration! Coffee was strong as it should be to match with the donuts. 4. AND THE DONUTS! The donuts are so moist, not too greasy, not too sweet, JUST PERFECT DONUTS! I had many fancy artisan donuts, but nothing beats this! A Must HAVE breakfast and donut while in Watkins Glen.

The food was really good!! We wanted breakfast food and were too full for donuts but will definitely be back to try them! Our waitress Kenzie was so nice and the service was quick even with a fair amount of tables to wait on!

We walked in prepared for some donuts and discovered it was a full out breakfast hot spot. My husband and I had omelettes and they were so good! The store merchandise was great to look at. We discovered our donut names and enjoyed the small town chatter. Would definitely stop back if in this area again.

The restaurant is clean and decorated nicely. The service is accommodating. The donuts were hot and fresh (6:30AM)!! EXCELLENT!! The coffee was less desirable and very weak for my liking but that seems to be the going theme at any of the places I’ve visited around town. The coffee everywhere is more like a watery tea, this place was no worse or better.

We visited Watkins Glen this week and got take out breakfast from Tobey’s twice. We found the food very good and the staff warm and hospitable. They were also very accommodating to our allergy requirements. Would highly recommend!

Walked in to get a donut to go on a Friday morning. Loved the diner vibe. The cashier was super friendly and helpful in helping me choose a flavor. Though they didn’t have a ton of donuts on display, there were plenty of the Bizmarks, which I wanted to try and the cashier highly recommended. So glad I got it! It was like a cinnamon roll, but with a more doughy and moist texture. I washed it down with a black coffee. Can’t wait to come back to try more flavors!

This is a must if you are in the Watkins Glen area. We happened to find this little shop accidentally on our honeymoon. The donuts were some of the best I've ever had. Breakfast was good too, my husband and I got the Mexican omelet. They have sandwiches that you can get to go as well. We will definitely be back.

Jill is awesome and so personable! We came in and ordered two donuts as well as two omelettes and toast. I had an apple-stuffed donut. My fiance had an apple cider donut. Both were delicious---much better than chain donuts (looking at you, Dunkin'!) Our omelettes, both with sausage, were served SUPER fast! I ordered sourdough toast with mine and made tasty little sandwiches! I was so close to moaning while eating our breakfast it was almost criminal! 🤣 Price was reasonable. We would love to come back Friday morning before we leave town!

We spent a few days enjoying the outdoors around Watkins Glen, and we didn't want to wake up early or cook for ourselves one morning. We didn't realize Tobey's breakfast service ends at 11AM. We made it Tobey's just before breakfast ended fortunately and left satsified and happy to not wash dishes on vacation. We sampled a few of their donuts and ate a delicious simple breakfast. Their hashbrowns are delightfuly seasoned for good flavor, and french toast was tasty. The donut selection was running low, but since I know supply and demand determines how much they make and they were about to close at 1PM it was understandable.

Perfect little breakfast spot in Watkins Glen if you were in the area. Food was really delicious, I got the breakfast sandwich. Would go back in a heartbeat to have it again. The waitress was very attentive and made sure everything was perfect. Got some donuts on the way out and they were really really good. I got the cinnamon twist And berry sprinkle doughnut and want to go back to try more. If you’re in the area, definitely stop by.

My dad and I came in on a Saturday morning around 9:30 and these guys were popping- but we got seated and served super fast. The food was delicious, and the coffee and donuts where divine. Every member of staff was efficient, helpful, and kind. 2 coffees, 2 donuts, and 2 omelettes and the total came to under $50 for breakfast for 2 people- so an incredible value especially for the quality of the food. I've lived in the area for years and hadn't stopped in, but now I think I've got a new favorite spot! Best donuts ever.

We got here a bit late for the choices we really wanted, but we got some delicious options! He had a lemon filled that was amazing! I had a Key lime filled that was tasty. We also took a couple to go, a chocolate cake and a long jon that was filled with delicious fluffy cream! So good! Service was quick and friendly! A do-over!

The food here is delicious! I had the western omelette with pepper jack cheese and it was arguably the best tasting omelette I’ve had. The homefries were nice and crispy and very tasty. And the donuts—of course delicious and you can taste the freshness. The vibe is very much like a diner with great and friendly service, and fresh hot coffee. Highly recommend!

While my wife was running a 10k in Montour Falls, I snuck away and ran myself down to the donut shop (I think my idea was better haha). Food: I ended up getting three donuts for the long weekend: long john, apple cinnamon, and apple cider. All three were exceptional, but it was my first time having a long john donut and I was very impressed. Service: The young lady working the counter definitely didn't seem like she wanted to be there, but she was cordial and helped out. Aesthetic: a cool diner mix into a doughnut shop, definitely a style I did not expect. A huge volume of doughnuts too, so I assume they do a large amount of business.

A great place for breakfast and a way to satisfy your sweet tooth. My son and I decided to have a breakfast on our last day camping at the state park before we left. Donuts are good and they have some fun combinations. I had the chorizo omelet with home fries (hash browns for midwesterners like myself) and son had cheese omelet. Both were excellent and we opted for the bagel instead of toast. We also got a Reese’s pieces donut to share. FYI. The home fries so far have been the best potato breakfast thing I have ever eaten. They were full of flavor and not just hash browns that are salted, these were fantastic! The waitress was so fun to talk to, she was friendly, knowledgeable and had a true conversation with us instead of the usual obligatory “job” talk. I can’t remember her name or I would certainly thank her online here (it was a couple weeks ago during a cross country vacation driving trip). If you stay at the park (which thousands of people do a per week), then stop by this place early so you can get great donuts and a heart-warming meal and conversation. ****This review is for a dine-in date of July 19.

The service was friendly, our sandwiches were delicious and so were the donuts. There's a beautiful park right across the street, too.

Staying in Watkins Glen for the weekend was looking for a place for breakfast. It's listed as a donut shop let me tell you I'm so glad we went. They have more than just donuts all be it the donuts are amazing. So if you are looking for donuts and or breakfast you must go. We ended up going both days that we are there. Who doesn't love donuts as an appetizer before breakfast.

Delicious donuts! Fresh and yummy! If you’re in the Watkins Glen area, I highly recommend you stop by and pick a dozen! The donuts tasted fresh! I also ordered a bacon egg sandwich which was good too but could use more bacon but still tasted good nonetheless. They have a full menu so if you aren’t in a donut mood then you have other food to choose from. Check this place out for sure!!

We stopped in quickly while on a wine tour. Sadly they were pretty much sold out of donuts but we got one of the leftovers bags with the ones that were too small to sell and a blueberry. Overall solid donuts. Maybe the others are better but I would go back to try another if I were in the neighborhood.

Ordered soft scrambled, eggs were real dry and crumbled. Wasn't asked if all was okay and hard to get coffee refills. Very busy place

Donuts are amazing! Would have given 5 stars but they do not make many of certain Donuts and they go really fast. There were some varieties where we were there at like 715, right after they open and there were only 2 or 3 left. On time we got there a little after 10am and forget it, there were like 2 varieties left.

We split an apple cider donut and the corned beef hash breakfast plate. Amazing donut, good potatoes and eggs, but the hash was clearly from a can and hard to get down. The coffee was great and service outstanding, but we were pretty let down by the corned beef quality. We would go again and try an omelette or other breakfast protein though.

So I know it's a donut shop and they have spectacular donuts and breakfast "sammiches" but their coffee is just not even gas station quality. If I was there on an off day and it was normally better, then it's a five star. But it's difficult to enjoy a five star donut with a one star cup of coffee. (I just read another recent comment about the coffee) Donuts, choc cake, blueberry, sour cream/glazed and choc iced were really well done, warm and delicious. Egg+cheese & sausage on English muffin was piping hot and perfect. If in WG, give Tobey's a try just bring your own coffee ☕

The food was good and the prices are reasonable. Before I sat down I was excited to have a cider doughnut, since I saw they had several in stock. A while after I ordered I was told they were out of cider doughnuts since they were given to other tables first. I was disappointed and ordered a different doughnut instead. Many of their doughnuts were either almost gone or out. It seems like they are not making enough doughnuts ahead of time to meet the demand.

Great little donut shop that also serves breakfast! Staff are super friendly and helpful. Service is very quick after ordering which is helpful to get in and out. Our breakfast ordered were 2 eggs over easy with sausage and whole wheat toast. Also rye bread with omelet with sausage and swiss cheese. The food was excellent. The sausage wasn't overly salty like most sausages which helped. Tried one of their donuts afterwards but it looks so good, I forgot to take a picture lol. Very fresh though!

Omelets were good, a little pricey. Really liked the apple donut and French creme donut. Would go back for donuts only. Good location, with small parking lot, some street parking in front.

We got breakfast it was great. Breakfast sandwich and sourdough toast was very good. Iced coffee was good. Our waitress was pleasant and very accommodating. My only complaint for the 3 stars is the donuts. They could have been better. Apple filling tasted a little sour, my lemon donut was pretty empty, and my cinnamon cereal was stale. It was also early and a lot of the donuts were sold out already.

The breakfast was pretty small and underwhelming. The donuts were good though.

So wanted to try a local place for breakfast. The waitress was so stressed out because she was the only one so her attitude wasn’t the friendliest(which I don’t blame on her) as for the food the hash browns were Amazing and the coffee was ok. I bought donuts for my in laws they said they were good. Might try again this was on a Wednesday morning and they we’re definitely busy!

Ok, maybe I shouldn't review a donut shop when neither one of us had a donut for breakfast. But the egg sandwich on a bagel was delicious. Only complaint was it took a while after getting seated for anyone to start waiting on us. And finally, when a waitress came by, it was just to drop off the menus. No asking if we wanted coffee. (YES!!!) It was annoying to see a man get seated after us, get his menu and coffee before us. Still, I'd come back here if ever if town again. And I'll probably order a donut. They sure did look and smell good.

It’s fine. Didn’t love the flavor of the donuts or the donut toppings. Ordering bagels means you have have to put the cream cheese on yourself but at least you get more than enough cream cheese. Lots of interior seating and service was fast and friendly.

Average doughnuts at best. Limited selections. Their credit card up charge is absurd. I should get a discount on doughnuts because I don’t drink coffee and don’t want to pay for their coffee machines. I didn’t eat inside so no one had to clean a table, where are my discounts for that. These businesses have taken advantage of Covid to increase their profits.

After seeing really good reviews, my family and I were excited to try this donut shop being out of town and chose to stop here prior to going to Watkins Glen. Very unorganized and unwelcoming as we waited 10 min to be seated. Very expensive just for your basic breakfast sandwiches so my family and I chose to order 6 donuts, 2 coffees and a chocolate milk and that was $22!!!! The donuts were absolutely disgusting, greasy and left a bad after taste in your mouth.

Walked in and proceeded to the cooler to be seated as the signs instructed us to do. Waited for about 5 minutes as the workers looked at and walked by us. It was not super busy. Eventually, someone asked if we were eating in and we said yes. She pointed to 3 open booths and said we could choose any and she'd bring us menus. We chose our seats and she brought us 2 menus and said another waitress would be taking our order. We waited another 10 minutes as the staff stood around, walking past us, etc. I told my wife we were giving them 3 more minutes and if nobody came, we were leaving. 2 minutes later, a waitress came to our table to take our order. We told her what we wanted and she left. 3 minutes later, another waitress came and asked to take our order. We told her that we just had it taken. Now, this place is not very big and was not very busy. Our breakfast sandwiches were super greasy and the meat was sliced very thin. Once we finished, she brought our check. We again waited another 15 minutes with our cash hanging out of the check holder as she walked by several times. She got the table behind us wrong with their checks. I went to the bathroom and told my wife that if it wasn't taken care of, we were leaving the money on the table and leaving. Well, that's what we did. She had walked by us 10-15 times with our money sitting there, waiting to be taken. This was absolutely the worst experience while visiting the finger lakes. We were told that we needed to go here. PRICES ARE EXPENSIVE AND SERVICE WAS EVEN WORSE! DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!
