First time coming here (from Tennessee) and this place waa great! Food was fresh, lobby was clean and staff was very nice!

Was hesitant to order food because i have had bad experiences in the past with the food tasting good at DQ but i must say it was surprisingly good. I ordered the $6 buck lunch crispy sandwich with a side salad instead of fries and it was hot and fresh. I ate EVERYTHING and was very satisfied. 😊

I went tbrough the drive through for a dipped cone. The person belping me was efficient and well mannered. My cone was dipped perfectly so nothing dripped as I was eating in the car. You know, sometimes it's the simple things in life that make your day better.

The kids really likes this place there they are always screaming for ice cream and dairy Queen is their place to be but we did order food this time and it was hot and it was good the kids really enjoyed it and the cashier was very nice

I was on the west side of town so I stopped in to the one on Augusta Road. Always a pleasure visiting the Dairy Queen, but this location forgot my sundae. I called them back and they were nice about it, but I didn't have time to go back to get it. Still loves those fries though!!

Our.blizzards were so delicious and tasty. Clean place and staff nice.

Love the DQ. Life saver on our road trip. And the 4 girl working there clearly loved their job. We even had our Blizzards turned upside down as they were delivered. Great to see people enjoy their job

I love our cashier, sam. He always makes us smile when we enter. The ice-cream we have is constantly sublime and it's never been melted. My boyfriend and I have never waited more than 10 minutes for our yummy treats. I love this dq and highly recommend it to you.

I rarely give bad reviews but this should be addressed. We waited way to long for 3 ice cream treats tonight. They was not busy as is was just us and 1 car behind us. We could see 5-6 employees playing around so they was not short staffed. Having fun makes a job better but shouldn't be done when you have customers. I updated my review since things have gotten better. I really enjoy this location.

I came in this particular Dairy Queen today looking for great food quality and attention to detail on my order and got exactly that ... Yesterday I went into another Dairy Queen location and the food quality could have been better. the icecream was good and the service was good.. but the food wasnt at its best . I leave reviews and acknowledgment to people who actually goes to work everyday and have a lot of control over what people eat everyday to continue to go everyday.. I appreciate the service ... I was satisfied! 😁

You always have to wait in line. Don't go there if you're in a rush other than that not a bad place.

I come here for the cat that hangs around this place. He's a good boi. Also food is good but you usually have to wait awhile and the sensor for the speaker is extremely sensitive. I've waited 5mins before then backed up slightly and then someone comes on to say hello.

As usual with any DQ the soft serve is bar none. The actual food needs a little more work. It's good when you finally get it but it's never hot. If the burger is hot the fries aren't or vice versa. Sometimes neither is hot. This is a trend with all DQ's no matter where it is.

Edit : for some reason this store is having issues with door dash orders they might want to look into this issue Used to work here years ago came today for lunch cashier was very friendly didn't have to wait that long for my food I usually come here every once and while I love their blizzard's

I ordered a strawberry sundae with pecans, received my order in a reasonable amount of time, it was delivered to my table. The ice cream was fresh and tasty. The restaurant and restroom facility was clean and neat. The customer service needs improvement. I do not like to shop and feel as though the store is doing me a favor, and I was made to feel that way at this restaurant. Not all DQ restaurants are this way, this is about the Rincon, GA store.

The staff handle a rather cranky customer who came in after us very well. She complained from the moment she walked in the door. Nothing was right. She was from out of state and was really mad about a menu item that wasn't carried in the store that was a staple at hers. They were great with us, store was clean, food was fresh, would give 5 stars but the blizzard was hardly stirred.

The poor man at the counter was everywhere he was so confused ,the other 2 women wasn't all together either,nobody was getting the orders right ,placing in store orders in drive thru space asking customer 3 times to make sure he hasn't gotten his chocolate shake when clearly he had come back up to the counter to get his chocolate shake.I get being short staffed maybe but when your standing there giving your order ,to me it's really rude for the order taker to just walk off and start helping someone else in the middle of order taking. Maybe they will get trained better.

I used the drive-thru to get a Blizzard. There was only one car ahead of me. Staff was quick and friendly. However, this is the first time I've received a Blizzard with a lid on it, so obviously no turning upside down. I could understand this IF they were very busy, but they weren't busy at all.

There is typically a long line in the drive thru, but barring any huge orders or difficult customers the staff usually gets you through pretty fast. They nearly always get our order right (unless we ask for changes to a burger) and I love the Brownie Batter blizzard. Just be careful in the intersection when you leave!!

My blizzard wasn't thick. Had to eat it fast before the ice cream turned like liquid.

If you've been to 1 DQ you know what the ice cream tastes like. The advertise cotton candy dipped cones but dont have it. They dont have cherry dipped cones. Service is not very personal and they make you feel like your bothering them. After each item they assume your done with your order.

This is not the first time that I visited this Dairy Queen. Received decent service. But what bothers me is the Indian lady that is there. I believe that she is the owner. But she does not know how to talk to her employees. She actually berated one of the employees (a young man) in front of customers. She even got very defensive with me when I questioned the amount on an ice cream cake I purchase sometime ago. I think that she really needs to take a course in how to treat her employees and customers. That could help with morale...

Ordered two extra thick shakes. Neither one was thick. Not thick at all. The young lady at the window was very nice and friendly. No complaints with her.

So slow, 5 minutes plus per car. Waited 2 minutes just at the window to pay. Cars backed up, 3 employees standing around in back apparently on break.

Service was lacking. The ice cream was good, but the staff didn’t seem too interested that we were inside.

The food was horrible, it tasted rubbery, the fries were cold, the only thing that is good about this place is their ice cream. I will not be returning for anything.

The milkshakes and ice creams both tasted like sour milk. I was also charged $3 for a cup of water.

I ordered the brownie chocolate 🍫blizzard. It was absolutely horrible. The ice cream 🍦itself was okay, but the quality of the brownie,had the texture of sugar cubes, or the texture of cookie 🍪dough. For that reason I could not enjoy the experience.

My son ordered a Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Blizzard, the one he always orders at other DQ's. When he got it, it was vanilla ice cream with cookie dough pieces. No chocolate, like it's supposed to have. We asked about it and they said you have to ask for the chocolate sauce! Seriously?? You have to ask for an ingredient it's supposed to come with??? That's like saying you have to ask for a bun for your hamburger or cheese sauce on macaroni and cheese!! We looked it up on the official website and confirmed that it is supposed to come with the chocolate sauce! We will not go back to this location. Good thing we have choices!

My very first job was at Dairy Queen first of all. My older sister worked there, I have friends that work at different Dairy Queens now. My favorite treat is a Banana Split Blizzard with nuts. My husband and I went for the first time together and are very disappointed!!! My blizzard, Banana Slit w/nuts, was like a condensed soup. My husband had to literally drink his! We were trying to get home and didn't have time to go back or I definitely would have.

Sat in the drive thru for 5 min waiting on the associate. Then it took another 5 min to order an item they had no idea what it even was, and it's on YOUR menu.

Friendly workers and good ice cream, but extremely unclean and gross. Tables were dirty, food and wrappers on the floor, and big fat spiders just chilling on the floor. If you can't keep it clean don't even allow people inside because if I was the owner is be embarrassed to have my customers inside this dirty restaurant.

Probably the worst one I've ever been to and I've been to many. Ice cream didn't even cover the top of the cone. Extremely disappointed 😞 Thank you for the follow up response to my review. I appreciate your efforts to retain me as a customer but I think your time would be better served in training your employees to do things the Dairy Queen way.

Horrible! Food was so sloppily prepared couldn't even eat it. Took forever to cook and order was all wrong. Nothing but teen-agers that were not properly trained.

Miss B and her husband is very nasty and rude she hired my kids and expect for them to slave for $7.25 a hour I have messages where I ask her to please stop calling my 14yr & 15yr old child a bit*h but she constantly keeping calling them out their name when she gets mad she a very unprofessional manager.She has rats running around the restaurant she recycle food when someone cancel their order and sale it to the next person that comes and order the same thing so please be careful with ordering food from Garden City Dairy Queen.The whole restaurant need to shut down with the ceilings falling down in the restaurant.

Stopped to get ice cream. The ice cream is bad and smells really bad so bad we had to roll down the windows. Called the manager to let them know they did not care. Said I just didn't like there ice cream. I told the manager I was only calling to let them know so they didn't service it to other customers.

Spent almost twenty minutes waiting for my food at the second window of the drive thru only to discover they didn't get my (very simple) order right. Went inside to get the food I asked for and they were very rude.. Don't waste your time here.

Dirty, have been sitting here for 25 minutes and tables around me that were unoccupied upon my arrival are still trashed. On top of that men's room is in terrible condition and the paper towel dispenser isn't operating.

DO NOT GO HERE!!!! I am 8 mos pregnant and the only thing I want everyday is the quesadilla chicken melts, I normally order them in hinesville but since I was in garden city...The melts were raw, not toasted. The cheese was not melted eithet. When I came in to address the food, the "manager" literally didn't even speak, not one word, no apology for wasting my time or even try to make it right. She simply didn't care. This location opened at 10:30, which is when I got there, the person on the speaker sounded like she was eating something while she was taking our order. Everything about this experience was awful!!!

This is the worst dairy queen in chatham county. There ice cream is never cold and they never make the deserts right. If you go to another dairy queen you will get better prepared food & better service

Took to long to serve me and then when I got my ice cream I felt jipped. I ordered a hot fudge sundae and a mini Oreo blizzard for my daughter. Yes! I understand that the chocolate melt the ice cream on the sundae; but it shouldn't melt that much from you making it, and serving it to me at the window. The young lady at the window reassured me that was the right amount, but the Dairy Queen on Stephenson gives me more ice cream than that, so I was not convinced. I will never visit that Dairy Queen again. Although the lady at the window was real friendly the wait was way too long and my ice cream presentation sucked.

I went to this Dairy Queen and ordered 3 blizzards, a burger, and a large onion rings. I presented a coupon for a discounted blizzard and they advised me that they don't accept coupons which is ridiculous but I said ok. I still wasn't upset at this point. When I received my food, I realized that I didn't get a dipping sauce for the onion rings. I asked the guy if I could have a ranch and he replied that there's an extra charge for that. At that point I was mad and asked for the manager. When the manager got to the drive thru window, he says what do you want. I said a dipping sauce for the onions rings. Either ranch or zesty sauce for my onion rings and he the owner/ manager said no it cost extra. I will never return this restaurant. The $0.39 must have been worth losing a customer and getting a bad review.

Worst service of my life! I had to repeat my order 10 times and she still didn’t get my order right and she even laughed at me when I said the exact thing she repeated back to me was correct. I wasn’t going to continue being disrespected so I left. That was completely ridiculous and uncalled for.

Almost everytime I come or send someone here there is a problem. One day the fish was hot & great, next time cold as if it was sitting. Normally I get the $5 Chilli Cheese Dog lunch, now they say they don't have it. You can't be some-timey. Three people came on the speaker at the drive-thru, too much. Owners are rude. Better off on a country road stopping at Dairy Queen, they treat customers better.

They didn't give me the correct size blizzard I ordered and they claimed that a small blizzard was a medium.

I'm not sure if the staff has a racial issue or if they just stuck at customer service. My daughter and I stood at the counter waiting to get our order taken, there was not another customer in the building yet 3 employees walked past us about 5 to 6 times but refused to acknowledge us. We finally got tired of it and walked out.

I see these reviews from months ago about getting rude service from this location. Nothing has changed since then. We called due to getting the wrong order and the person who took the call hung up on us. We called back over 9 times and at one point they answered the phone twice and hung up. I am appalled as to how they allowed certain workers to display this type of behavior toward paying customers. We will never go to this location again and we are at the point of never supporting Dairy Queen again. Absolutely awful service and we weren't even rude when we called to let them know about our order we paid for. Don't waste your money at this location! They do not deserve it!!!

The service is very slow. Employees acted like they didn't want to be there. A few of them dropped cups, fry bags, on the floor . Picked them up and put back in rotation instead of throwing them away. My fires was under cooked. My burger was over cooked and looked.like it had been run over by a steam roller it was so flat. I had asked the cashier several times a certain burger and she just totally ignored my questions. Never ever again will I eat here nor recommend it to anyone. STAY AWAY!!!

Always get a half melted slushie and half the time they're only taking card or only taking cash, just whatever the cashiers feel like that day. Half the time the ice cream machine is allegedly down. Do better.

So, we place our order of a #6 crispy, regular fry, large pibb, #7 regular fry, large tea, and a large order of cheese curds and extra marinara sauce. We get to the window and are told our order is over $30. I asked the man in the window if the order was correct and repeated what we ordered and he just shrugged his shoulders. I started to ask for a receipt before we paid because I knew something wasn’t right. He finally looked at the order screen and had put in for our order plus an additional #7 meal. He took that one off and gave us our drinks. Both were tea, I didn’t complain about not getting the pibb, I figured they were having an off evening. It was slow when we went, literally the only car. It took close to 10 minutes to receive our order. We leave and realize there is no marinara sauce... fine. Whatever. We get home to eat, find out the #6 is not in the bag and it’s two #7s. Just really disappointed in our visit. I know the # 6 normally takes a while when you order it, so I was okay waiting, but to find out we didn’t even get the food we ordered was very disappointing. More than likely will not be coming back to this location.

We ordered two blizzards. Both were missing key ingredients, so much so that one ended up being just vanilla. They were served with lids because they were already partially melted. Disappointed.

Poor service. 2pm on Saturday and I am the only car in the drive through. When placing my order I was asked to wait. I eventually ordered and pulled around to pay. It took a long time once I paid for my order to receive it. If you are going to make your customers wait, please at least give them a heads up. I thought that they forgot about us.

The girls in this place are so absolutely rude and disrespectful. Took my card and charged me for someone else's order. When I brought it to their attention, they handed me back my card and a receipt for the correct charge. When I told the girl at the window that they needed to refund the other order, I got, "she already did that" with an attitude like how dare I. I told her I wanted a copy of the receipt and she got all huffy because they had to get it out of the trash. I try to avoid this DQ for just this reason. Obviously the owner doesn't care. I've told him about it before.

The service is really bad. You should have people who really wants to work. One of the worker touch her hair with gloves hand attached the good. Not only today always when I come this place is the same. Came at 540 left

I ordered via uber eats and ordered chicken fingers and fries. DISGUSTED at this order the fries were under cooked!!! Like they dipped in oil them immediately too them out the chicken was Old and Tough , cold like it’s been sitting out All day. I called and a Spanish speaker started speaking Spanish, I asked for English, I tried to explain about this food he sent out and pieced together that he is the manager and no English there. Miguel claims he is a manager. He was useless and did not help. I ordered the previous week and the same food I ordered was fresh and still hot. Without customers there is NO job.

Peep this! It’s an unassuming Sunday afternoon, my laundry is finished and I want lunch and a sweet treat! So I swing by the neighborhood DQ like boy oh boy I could really go for a blizzard!!! I order my food and forgot to say no tarter sauce, I get to the window and say hey I didn’t mention no tartar sauce on my fish sandwich my apologies, he says no problem grabs my card and keeps it pushing, this guy comes back and says he put a little tarter sauce your sandwich is that ok, in a very polite manner I respond, well I don’t like tarter sauce at all so I don’t mind waiting for a remake. He tells me to pull up. Girl brings out my “meal” minus the fries, when I say to her hey this was a meal her response is oh I didn’t know🤷🏽‍♀️ I’m like oh no worries, she brings back my meal guess what!!! The fish had been dropped back in the fryer!! There were even bits of onion leftover from the tartar sauce!!! It’s crazy what yall into over at DQ my guy🥴

Ordered my blizzard in the drive thru and I found a long thick piece of hair in my blizzard. I went inside and no one had a hair net on, including the manager who was fixing the food. Disgusting. Two of the male employees had lengthy hair.

Be sure to watch your account if you do plan using a card at this store. I went through the drive-thru for lunch and paid with my card. I checked my account later that day and noticed I had two charges from this store, one was $15.05 and the other was $21.06. I recognized the first, but I did not recognize the second. I went back two days later to get it settled and was told they couldn't do a refund so I agreed to a gift card with the amount of $21.06. Couple weeks later I attempted to use the gift card at another Dairy Queen and they told me there was no amount loaded on the card. Needless to say I will not be going back to this this store.

Would give no stars if I could. This is the worst Dairy Queen I have ever visited. The staff are rude, unprofessional and horrible at their jobs! I got a large vanilla cone and my wife ordered a mint chocolate chip milkshake. The shake was basically milk with a small amount of ice cream. It was runny almost warm and the cone was not a large cone. Needless to say it went in the trash when we left. Both girls working handed me the order and laughed as I drove away as if they knew. I WILL NOT EVER RETURN TO THIS DAIRY QUEEN AND WILL TELL OTHER NOT TO GO EITHER!!! This is not my first bad experience at this location but it will definitely be my last.
