The service by Ashley was perfect. She brought hot bread to our table quickly. The whipped butter was very tasty. My coffee was very fresh. The jumbo scallop appetizer was a work of art. I ordered a Delmonico steak medium rare and it was cooked perfectly. The asparagus spears were not overdone, they had a nice crunch. The crispy onions were a nice touch. The Ceasar salad was very fresh. The restaurant itself is very clean and set in a northern cabin motif. I like this old school restaurant.

What a lovely mid-day lunch! We stopped here on a whim. First time hearing of the place, and it was outstanding! PROS: -Wonderful taste and texture with the calamari. -Best old fashion I've ever had. -Very tasty beef stroganoff. -We sat at a great table, pretty quiet and secluded. -Bathrooms were clean. -Really cool interior. - Very knowledgeable and kind waitress. CONS: -I didn't really like the béarnaise sauce with my steak. Someone could probably love it, but not me. It tasted VERY eggy. -Also wasn't SUPER into the french onion soup. It was a little overly sweet for my taste. -Glassware didn't seem to be polished, water spots and residue were present. Not a HUGE deal, but I feel like its always a nice touch to shine glasses in a up-scale place. - Wasn't a HUGE fan of the mushrooms in the stroganoff. They seemed pickled? - Crème brûlée was also extra eggy, reminded me more of flan. Overall, we really enjoyed our lunch here! Will 100% come back again. (:

First time here for My wife and I and we will definitely be back. Everything was excellent,,,, from the atmosphere to the service to the food to the wine. Very very good! My wife had the sea bass for dinner and it was very good. I had the 10 oz filet and it was excellent! Cooked perfectly!

Our visit this afternoon was phenomenal! Everything exceeded our expectations. Our waitress Allison was beyond friendly and attentive. Despite the restaurant being quite busy when we arrived, the service we received was top notch. She was very helpful and made sure that we had everything we needed quickly. Everything we ordered was brought out faster than we anticipated. There wasn’t a single thing that we didn’t like. Their calamari appetizer was lightly fried without any rubbery texture. The tomato aioli that came with it was unique and paired well with the calamari. The bread was warm and paired well with the other food items we ordered. My husband got the bacon cheeseburger which came with the steak fries and I ordered the express lunch with the petite filet mignon, lobster bisque, and mixed green salad. The lobster bisque was very rich with lots of flavor. My steak and my husband’s burgers were both cooked to our liking and tasted out of this world. My salad had a generous portion of balsamic vinaigrette. Lastly, we ordered a heavenly piece of mocha chocolate cheesecake that was so decadent, we had to share it. Everything was absolutely delicious. There was nothing that was even slightly disappointing. We even enjoyed the music and the ambiance. It was perfect for a cozy weekday lunch. We will definitely be returning.

My boyfriend and I went here for our 1- year anniversary, and let me say that it was wonderful. It’s an expensive steakhouse, so expect to spend a decent amount of money. The service was amazing and our waiter was very cordial and friendly. I ordered a steak, and it was probably the best steak I’ve ever had in my life. I definitely will be returning, but only for a special occasion.

Came here to celebrate my 30th birthday and it was excellent! The food was very good, both of us got a steak. They were both cooked perfectly. Tried the mushrooms and the creamed spinach. Loved both! Our waitress was very sweet and brought out a dessert for my birthday!

What initially sold us on eating at this restaurant…“Located in Westlake, this historic timber-framed log cabin, once a private hunting lodge, dates back to World War II.” We wanted something different, not a chain restaurant, and a place that offered good food. This place was it. There’s something about the staff outside the tri-state area that is super friendly. That they are really interested in making conversation. Everyone greets you no matter if they are your waiter or not. The food and cocktails lived up to what we hoped. It was absolutely delicious. We definitely left full. Went there today for dinner with my daughter and granddaughter and Wifey for dinner to celebrate my granddaughter's birthday. This place is amazing. Not cheap mind you but worth the $$$ IMHO for those occasions when you want to go someplace special. It has a real log cabin feel with hand finished boards and such. It has a very 'rustic' vibe. It's not a large space, but they do a great job of not making you feel too close to the other diners. Mia, our server was outstanding 😀 It's difficult to overstate how much the good service she provided helped make our meal a great time. But, now to the food. I loved the presentation and taste and care and attention that was given to the food that was served to us. Everything was exactly as we ordered. I don't know how often you go out to eat but that doesn't happen all the time. There are several good steakhouses in the greater Cleveland area. I think this is one that should be on your list if you're anywhere near the Westlake area or don't mind driving over there to have a great meal.

Our grandson has chosen Cabin Club for the last two years for his birthday dinner. The food is fantastic, the servers are friendly, and the atmosphere is good. Or grandson loved the chocolate mousse birthday dessert. Nothing bad about this place!

The cabin club is a very clean conveniently located, local steakhouse we consider a gem! We vist it often when my parents come to town from Virginia. They have just as good of a steak as you can get in the south! They start you off instantly with water, fresh bread that is so soft and delicious with butter then take your drinks. They always quickly get your orders going and the food is flowing before you can think. The lobster bisque is so smooth, and delicious. The salads are well prepared, the house dressing is a great choice. The cocktail shrimp are huge, and served perfectly. The expresso rubbed strip is a unique, and way better than I even anticipated. We asked for our serloins medium, and they were closer to done unfortunately but it is tough to prepare the cuts they had(shaped like a ball). At least we know next time to ask for a much lower temperature, although the strip came out a perfect rare! The fish my stepfather got was "perfectly blackened" and that comes from a Virginia Eastern Shore native! I forget what fish it was as it was a special tonight. The atmosphere is very nice wood/rustic feel, a bit loud and close quarters. I was bumped a few times and constantly felt the urge to lean forward as people try to pass, the chairs(not booth) are very uncomfortable and leave you numb before the bread comes out, but the service, and food make up for it! They are very highly priced, but you do receive ample portions for the most part. The hostess was very friendly along with our waitress who was very attentive, the manager also stopped by to thank us for dining and ensure quality. Overall we enjoyed our visit at the Cabin Club, and highly recommend checking them out at least once!

Been wanting to try this place for dinner for a while now and so glad I did! Tara was super informative about the menu and daily specials. She even recommended the perfect wine to go with our meals! Was enjoying the experience so much, I didn’t even take any photos of the food. Will definitely go back!

Small inside. I recommend making reservations. We did and were quickly seated. Our server was kind. I had a Cowby med. It was cooked perfectly. My sides were mashed potatoes and green beans. We never touched the salt or pepper. The food was delicious. We've already made plans to return later this year.

This restaurant has great atmosphere, fantastic service, and wonderful food! Lobster bisque is very good, had a real nice steak. Shrimp were plump and tasty! Cocktails delicious. Server Dana was knowledgeable and very friendly. The staff accommodated our requests for a couple dietary items when we called ahead for our baked potato toppings. Will return with a watering mouth! Great job!

One of our favorite places!! Great food, great drinks, great ambiance, and excellent service. Tara, our favorite waitress, always goes above and beyond to provide high level service. We look forward to seeing her!

From the moment you walk in, the warm, rustic atmosphere sets the tone. It has that classic steakhouse feel with a cozy, upscale twist that makes it perfect for date nights, special occasions, or just treating yourself to a great meal. The steak? Absolutely phenomenal. Perfectly cooked, tender, and full of flavor. You can tell they use top-quality cuts and take real pride in getting it just right. The sides and appetizers were just as impressive—especially the lobster bisque and the loaded mashed potatoes. Great wine list too! Service was attentive without being intrusive. Our server was knowledgeable, friendly, and kept everything running smoothly throughout the night. This place nails it on every level: food, service, atmosphere. If you’re looking for a true steakhouse experience on Cleveland’s west side, Cabin Club is the place to go. Highly recommend!

Had our anniversary dinner there. Drove 50 minutes to get there and it was outstanding. Atmosphere, food and service were all top notch. Prices are very fair for what you get. Well worth the drive!

Ava at the front desk was so friendly, got us a nice table in a corner. The place was full. We were so fortunate despite no reservations. Loretta took our order for dinner quickly and food arrived very fast. Lobster bisque was delicious with Cabin bread and House salad. Really enjoyed speaking with Susan, the manager, to compliment staff, food and atmosphere of The Cabin. We heard that lunches were great also. Prices are very reasonable!

One of the best restaurants I have ever been to. All of the staff worked together to make sure our water and drinks were always full and the food was amazing! We are from Akron, but we will be back!

We went for lunch, and extensive menu. We ordered the express lunch. I had Lobster Bisque, Caesar Salad and 4 Oz Filet Mignon. My husband had the same with Salmon. All were served on a large plate. The Lobster Bisque was thick, with a delicious flavor. The Caesar Salad was cold, crisp with just the right amount of dressing and lots of cheese. My filet was tender and cooked perfectly. My husband said his salmon was thick and delicious. We were given warm bread and butter. Our server was friendly and attentive. We ordered A chocolate mousse to share. Parfait style, layered with a whipped cream and crushed chocolate cookies. Yummy!

My wife and I dined at Cabin Club for the first time, and it was on her birthday. This was an absolutely perfect dining experience. The food was exceptional, as was Ashley’s table service. We just loved everything about this restaurant, and we are looking forward to exploring their menu further. We were also pleasantly surprised on how affordable everything was, so we even ordered a dessert to take home. Thank you Cabin Club for such a memorable dining experience!

Absolute 10/10 experience Everything was phenomenal Our server Omar was a delight. He was friendly, his suggestions were incredible, and he was always there right when you needed him before you even realized it The aesthetic was incredible, definitely the cutest restaurant we’ve ever been to And the food, oh man. The best dinner of my life. The drinks were delicious. Plus, they gave us a free dessert for our anniversary, a house made mouse that was INCREDIBLE Could not recommend this place enough!!!

We went for our anniversary dinner the food was amazing. I loved the wood cabin feel of the place as well as the look of the ceiling. I had a couple small issues one being the annoying little bug that was flying around us and our food and we had to keep batting it away. The second was that when my entrée arrived (I had the filet medallions with lobster tail) 🦞 the shell of the lobster had a fishy smell. I just popped the lobster meat out of the tail, put it aside and all was well again. Overall, it was a wonderful meal just a bit pricey.

Cabin Club is unique cozy, great atmosphere and excellent food. For any occasions nice place . I wish it was larger. I would have given it 5 stars but 2 things I observed. The waitress did not introduce herself but was very respectable and kind and part of the bar counter is built right to your counter and us so close they can hear your conversation . Otherwise, great service, fabulous food and nice atmosphere . I had the New York strip and my grandson had the Filet Mignon . Both recommended and great tasting . I took my girlfriend to this restaurant for her birthday I must say the food was very delicious I had the twin tail lobster mashed potatoes an asparagus the server was very excellent very attentive the atmosphere was very friendly as well definitely recommend!

Came from out of state for a few days for business. The fried calamari was absolutely the best I have had in the northern states. Equivalent to down south, good. The French onion soup, I would rate a 7/10. Not sure what type of wine was used for it, but it was very sweet. My husband got tenderloin strogonoff, and we were both impressed with the tenderness of the meat. The portion was huge though. The old fashioned I had was absolutely exquisite.

First time here. Brought my sister here for her 50th birthday. Sat at the bar, which seemed kind of cramped. It was also alittle too warm when we first got there. We were also relieved that the bartender with a slight attitude or was in a bad mood was leaving. I was a little disappointed with my steak that I love so much at their sister restaurant Delmonico's. Their truffle butter was bland and the steak itself didnt seem as tender. The highlight of the meal was the chocolate mousse dessert, which was to die for. Would I come back? Probably not. Ill stick with Delmonicos.

Food is usually very good but this last time it wasn't quite as good as usual. Must have just been an off day because normally it is amazing! The different mashed potatoes were very good but the steak wasn't as high of quality as the past but it was still good. The lobster bisque (which is normal top notch) was off this night. The chocolate mousse for dessert was out of this world though. Atmosphere is cozy but crowded. We will definitely be back in the future to hopefully have a better experience like usually

Love the ambience of this place! We had okay service with pretty decent food. It didn't blow me out of the water, but good enough to recommend to someone if they don't mind the price of the food.

We came here for my 60th birthday while visiting our son. The food was great, the atmosphere was rustic and charming. The service was good, our waitress could have smiled and paid a little bit more attention to us. But overall a good experience and will definitely be back.

The cabin is unquiet, cozy and smaller then what it appears from the outside. Here is the break down of my overall experience. The staff were cordial. For the beverage the rosary rhubarb mule was a different take on mule. I wish they had more option for wines per glass. For the food portion, I order the lobster bisque which to be honest was really salty and the lobster was non-existing minus what you see in the photo. I couldn’t finish it due to level of saltiness. I have eaten my fair share lobster bisque and this one has to be at the bottom of my list. For my main course, I order the center filet mignon with potato fingers. The potatoes taste like they haven’t been washed and were mostly burnt as seen in the photo below. However the filet was cooked to my liking medium rare, I wish it had a bit more seasoning. Overall the cabin is a unique place.

The food, service and atmosphere was hands down a 5 star. I gave it a 3 star because of the outrageous bourbon price markups. For most of the bourbons they had the price for 2 pours would pay for the bottle. You are already paying a premium for the entrees which is worth it for the taste/quality. There is no reason to then massively upcharge for bourbon.

Very busy lunch hour that made it extremely loud. Clean and enough room to move about. Cannot be in a rush to leave even though they have an "express lunch" choice where you pick 3 out of 4 items. They do serve delicious warm rolls. Waitress was extremely pleasant as were the staff. I would have rated 4 stars if it wasn't so loud.

We had reservations at 9:30 and we understand that we were most likely the last table of the night to walk in but the food and service just wasn’t that great for over $200 of food. The lobster bisque really made the night but everything after just seemed half done. Lobster Mac n Cheese was grainy and not too flavorful. Steak and Oscar wasn’t flavorful either and some parts were good to eat but for a $68 steak it could have been amazing. Overall we left disappointed, our waitress checked on us maybe once or twice throughout the whole meal but also forgot to put our appetizer in which came out hot out but not crispy as calamari should be. We gave it a try but we won’t be back unfortunately.

The food was outstanding. The service was excellent. As for the atmosphere that was horrible. They have a bar with a lot of what I call bar “flys” aka— people that hang out at the bar day after day like a second home. Nothing wrong with that if you have separate rooms. This was our first and maybe last time. The flys at the bar were so loud and yelling and swearing. Not how I wanted to celebrate our wedding anniversary.Sorry to say I can’t recommend this place to anyone very disappointed that a place as nice and with such great food is ruined by the “bar flys”

The food was honestly pretty good so no complaints there but the service from the hostess was not very great. The older blonde woman was pretty disrespectful when asking for accommodations to both my sister and I. We would’ve gone back but pretty dissapointed with the front of house.

Went here today and ordered mocktails and were served alcohol, I was with a recovering alcoholic so this was a big deal to the person I was with. When asked to speak to the manager the manager told me that the server probably just misunderstood and acted like this wasn’t a big deal. Literally walked out and left, to me this is terrible service and not a place I will ever support.

Overall the meal and our server was wonderful. However we were very disappointed with where we were seated since it was for our anniversary. Very small table and the couples on either side of us were so close to us it felt as though we were part of their conversations. The worst part of the night was the server next to us….as he was taking care of the table next to us he would practically sit on our table to the point we had to move the water bottle or he would have knocked it over and the view of his rear end multiple times wasn’t the best. So the atmosphere of the restaurant for us gets a negative 🤨 Sadly the manager never responded to my email as they requested to do so I’m dropping my stars….bad customer service!

Unfortunately, we did not have a good experience at the Cabin Club. Our waiter, Tom, approached us 3 times before he allowed us to order drinks. My wine glass had a giant crack down the middle and a chip on the top. He did offer me a new glass but not a good first impression regardless. Water glasses were dirty with a residue ring around the top of all of them. After 30 minutes and about 6 interactions with Tom, we said we were ready to order in which he replied, “I will be right with you” and went to set an empty table instead. Then when he finally allowed us to order food, he seemed judgemental when I ordered a la carte with the creamed spinach as a side as that in his words is “rich and very filling”. The empty bread basket was not cleared off the table before our meals came. Steak was very sub-par with little seasoning. Sides were okay. French onion soup was mediocre. We all got crème brûlée for dessert that was delicious. Then Tom said he would bring a bag for our left overs that never came. We were very excited to try a new steak house and while the atmosphere was very cozy, I cannot recommend this steakhouse to others. For the price point, it definitely did not live up to standards. Terrible customer service - emailed the manager as requested with no response. Down to 1/5 stars.

My wife and I decided to celebrate Valentine’s a bit early this year to avoid the crowds on the 14th. So we made reservations for dinner at the Cabin Club on Monday the 9th and explained that it was a special occasion for us. We both have dined at cabin club on several occasions and we were excited for our special evening out. Unfortunately, our meal and service were unbelievably bad. The following is provided to explain: 1. After being greeted by the hostess, we were given a table that was crammed in the corner and way too close to the adjacent table (both parties could easily hear each other’s dinner conversations). BTW, Our neighboring table was displeased by the food and service as well. 2. Appetizers and soup were served 35 minutes prior to our meals arriving. 3. My wife’s steak was raw. 4. My steak was raw. 5. Terrible Bernaise sauce. 6. Both steaks were ordered, medium. Once we cut into them, the entire plate bed was filled with blood. 7. We sent back my wife’s steak, only to have it, returned at the same temperature, RAW!! 8. This was such an unpleasant experience. The manager didn’t even come over to offer an apology or anything. 9. Cabin Club you should be ashamed of yourself. This is Not an inexpensive restaurant. Good Quality and Good Service should be automatic. 10. If I could’ve given zero stars, I would’ve.
