Best Chinese food I’ve ever had

This is the best Chinese take-out ever. We have tried so many different places, and nothing compares to their food. We've literally thrown food out from other places because it just doesn't compare. We love the spicy General Tso chicken, veggie lo mein, pork fried rice, cheese won tons and egg rolls.

When you pick it up, expect it to take a minute, it's a small town family chinese place. The food is delicious and make it extra spicy if you ask. Typical Chinese food and very consistent because it's always the same cook. Very tasty 🍛 and by far my favorite.

Lemme tell you something about fu lucky kitchen, these guys DONT play when it comes to their food. Great portions that lasts and fills you up, food and flava that neverrrr gets old , and the owners are very nice. ATM inside and the store itself was cozy. HIGHLY suggest you get the shrimp lo-mein because that sauce is straight ecstasy 😂

Fast service and really good food for a small town

Just moved to the area and by far some of the best food I’ve had in a while. Customer service was amazing and the food was so hot it took few mins to cool down. The family and I will be back for sure. Thank you and keep up the great job.

For being in Whitney point this is a really good Chinese restaurant. My kids like them the best. Menu and prices about the same as all the other Chinese restaurnts. The people are nice and they do move quickly to complete your order. Visa and Mastercard accepted.

I got a large order of ribs couldn’t even eat them all so had to throw last 3 in some rice to take home. The ribs are incredible here at Fu Lucky Kitchen and soups are wonderful. I’ve tried 1/4 of the menu so far and working on more with no disappoints. I think everyone should give the new owners a try, they’re really trying to serve great food/flavor with great customer service and Joy can customize spice and combos. Enjoy

Great Chinese food. Quick service. You can only use cash here they dont have a card machine. Usually dont in 10 to 15 mins even when we order alot of food.

As someone who has tried most of their dishes, I can say that this place is a lot better than it looks. Not a big fan of their beef dishes and I did find a hair in my food once, but overlooking those. All the times I’ve went was great. For those people saying the wait time is too long. Insider tip: For dinner, try ordering at 3:30-4 when they aren’t busy. Since it usually takes them 30 or so minutes to make and prepare your food (although that can change depending on your order) you should have your food by 4-5. As long as you don’t mind an early dinner, it’s definitely worth it.

Yum yum, so the wait was about 40 mins after you got there. They started making the food only after you paid. The guy behind us waited an hour. Might not want to go if it too close to 5pm if you don't want to wait a long time. It was really crowded but the food was good.

I like the vegetable lo-mein and the broccoli in garlic sauce but it might be awhile before I go back due to how rudely I was treated. I understand the guidelines in place for Covid but I don't appreciate rudely being told to move away from the counter before I put my wallet away. I moved back towards the door and another person came in for their order and I was again rudely told to move to let them through. Where are you supposed to stand in their small area? They don't seem to care if you're crowded in the doorway though with other people.. I agree with others who have said it's overpriced but I was willing to pay it but not when you're rude to your customers.

The food is fresh and the variety is good. Most everything tastes good. They have spoiled me with fresh food, and I can’t deal with buffets now. I do wish they would put more meat in the chow mein and muu shu. It’s a decoration. Also when you order pork and snow peas, you get snow peas and a little pork. Same with most others. Their hot and sour soup is some of the best I’ve had. Perfect if you are feeling under the weather. I don’t know what is in shrimp toast, and don’t want to, but it’s addicting.

Egg roll tasted a bit off but other than that their food is good and the cookies are fun. Their prices keep going up but the service keeps going down. We use to order from here once a month but even after placing an order 30 minutes early we waited over 40 minutes after getting there and paying. Its not worth the time. I could go to cortland or binghamton and back in less time for the same thing. It is also a bit hard to get an order right if you are calling, like they didnt understand what we were saying but now it seems like the call didnt matter at all bc you have to be their and pay first from reading other comments. Wonder if they have that rule bc people will walk out after waiting almost an hour, but if you have their money they wont. And it wasnt busy at all. There was only one other person waiting when arriving and they left with their food after maybe 30 minutes. They have undergone another name change. Their 3rd or 4th. Now it's Fu Lucky Kitchen. Another 7 years they don't have to pay taxes. I don't know if that's starting to make them smug, but I never pay the prices on their menu. It's always way more. Like last night. I bought a large sweet and sour chicken with white rice $10.95, 2 sesame chickens with pork fried rice $9.95 each. So including tax I should've paid $33.32. I was charged however $45.30. Whenever I have questioned the price difference (I have on more than one occasion), I'm always told they raise prices because delivery prices went up, or they haven't printed out correct priced menus recently (never mind the stacks of menus they have laying out, and put in the bags they send you out with). But besides being overpriced, which I guess they can get away with being the only Chinese place in this small town, their food is good. The last couple times the chicken batter has been REALLY crispy though, like almost rock hard crispy, but the chicken inside was still yummy. And the white rice? Well you can't go wrong with that. So if you can swallow getting ripped off, then you should like the food good enough.

$75 dollar order and was not impressed. Shrimp toast was burnt, fried donuts were ok. Moo Shu beef was ok. General Tsos chicken was good, had a good crisp under the sauce. Seafood delight had good seafood but veggies (broccoli in particular) was quite undercooked. Very crunchy. Sauce needed much more flavor. I added seasoning at home. Mei Fun was ok. Alot of money for average Chinese food.

We order from here almost every Friday. The food is really good most of the time, but the wait is a bit excessive. On more than one occasion they have said it would be 25-30 minutes and its been well over an hour. If my son didn't like it so much I definitely would not be their customer.

It was my first time ordering take out from this restaurant while Working in îWhitney Point, NY. After calling in my order I was told that I could not use a credit card/ debit to pay for my order. If the establishment does not honor credit/debit cards they should change the payment options to cash only so potential customers are not wasting their time.

Food seems fat free. While edible it is the worst Chinese food I've ever had (that may seem harsh but I love Chinese food and usually order it multiple times a week). The egg rolls are really soft and they are very stingy when it comes to sauce. If I could get more flavor and actual fried food I'd order from there way more than once every few weeks. I really miss good take out!

Prices went up, quality went down. The last chicken and broccoli I got was cool, and chicken was raw. Gross, very disappointed. ☹🤮

Not sure what's going on here, but the food is horrible. Everything is chewy when it's supposed to be Krispy and fried. The won ton in the soup tasted like it had been sitting in a warmer for a week. I wish a new Chinese place would open cause this place is not good.

Chicken was cold and hard as if it had been cooked long ago. Ordered lobster lo mein and it did not have any lobster in it. Will not be returning.

We hadn't ordered food from there in awhile so called one night to place an order. To my surprise there were no more combo plates. I wanted to order a small chicken lo mein and could only get a large. You had to order everything separately. Ended up spending over $40 for 2 people and it wasn't that good. I understand businesses were hit hard with covid but now you are paying double for bad food. If they're trying to make more money it's not going to work. Not going there again.

Spent over $80 on dinner and it was terrible.... This is the worst Chinese food I've ever eaten in my entire life. I waited over an hour for my order when I was told 30 minutes and none of the food is even warm. The fried food is cold and soggy and the entrees taste like they were prepared the day before and then reheated, at some point (they aren't even warm). I actually feel sick to my stomach and I barely ate any of my order besides sampling each item. If you want to avoid food poisoning and wasting your money, take your business elsewhere.

Ordered general sos chicken, like we do every single time. The chicken was so spicy, no one in the house could eat it. When we called to ask why the chicken was SO spicy, she said it always comes that way. She was extremely rude and essentially blamed us for the extremely spicy general sos chicken. We’ve ordered here for years, never once was the general sos too spicy to eat.

Worst Chinese food I’ve ever had in my life. I was told my order would be just “15 minutes” but an hour later I was still in the restaurant waiting for my overpriced food(seriously do they just charge you whatever random price they come up with? Cuz my dumplings, small soup and lunch special was 30$ somehow) I was severely disappointed by the bland taste and poor quality. Not impressed and do not recommend.

Pricey & a l o o o n g wait - - not because they are busy, but because they don't seem to multitask at all. Expecting fried & crispy egg rolls but received either microwaved or oven warmed egg rolls. Chewy, not crispy but the mustard was great! Will not stop there again. I believe the only way they stay open is they are the only Chinese restaurant for 20+ miles. I'll go without next time!

we ordered from the chinnese place for dinner tonight payed 39.95 for 2 combos and a side. I ordered 3 combos and they told me I didn't and tried to charge me for another. I'M SO UPSET, that I had to pay so much and didnt get everything I ordered. Don't plan on ordering again, I can't stand people who do this.
