I don't understand this Popeyes. It's been here for years. I come here at 5:45 p.m. on a Sunday which is typically dinner time and they have zero mild chicken ready to serve. I had to sit in my car for 10 minutes waiting. There is no one inside the restaurant and nobody in the parking lot except for one car. It's unfortunate there's not another one closer to me because I would be trying that one. EDIT. I must have said it at least four times in the drive-thru that I did not want any chicken legs and could have thighs or something else and they said it's fine. I get home and My order is wrong. All of this BS for $15 for two-piece meal. Nope!

The sign says the 2pc combo is $11 and cents but when I paid the cashier told me the price is $13 and cents. $15.21 with taxes. When I asked I mentioned the sign says $11 and she says I know but they had not changed yet. It doesn’t make sense. When they are wrong you always pay the price they say in the sign, correct? Watch out your pockets! Chicken was cold warm and the biscuit almost raw. Not surprise why there was not a line as all Popeye’s locations use to have. My bad, I did not read the reviews before entering. 🤷🏻‍♀️

So we ordered our food at the Washington Blvd, Whittier location then arrived at the window only to wait for some time for someone to come and take our money and give us our food. Then one drink was incorrect and the mac and cheese was oily. The fries were tasted old but the fruit punch drink was good.

Only 3 workers...how much money is the company making by not providing good service...you need more people behind the counter. Really sad that a corporation thinks this is okay...

I placed a mobile order and when I got there they told me to pull forward to pick up my order, the guy at the window was extremely rude, he handed me my food and drink without greeting me and I noticed he was giving me a regular lemonade with no ice and I said “excuse me I believe I ordered a frosted lemonade” and he just said “that's all we have” and walked away without letting me speak I waited by the window saying excuse me, excuse me but after waiting for a while I realized they were leaving me there on purpose so I I got tired of waiting and just drove away, when I got home I realized there was no condiments and no utensils. That location has horrible employees I’ve heard several complaints from other people as well I was very upset and disappointed by the time I got home.

Every time I go there they give me the wrong order. And it's cold food lots of kids working there just playing around in the kitchen

Avoid this Popeyes at all costs. The extra drive to ANY other location is worth it. Horrible service, bad quality food and the place over all is gross. I understand they can’t control what’s going on next door but THEIR parking lot is just as disgusting. All it takes is 1 hr to clean up the parking lot. I can only imagine how dirty what we can’t see is. I have warned my family about this location so they can go to a different one. Anytime I have ever ordered food from there it seems like I’m getting left over scraps. If I could give it ZERO stars I would. 1 star is too good.

This is the first time i came to the Popeyes in whittier, and the workers were extremely rude. They didn’t have blacked chicken either which was unfortunate, but it felt like they were rushing me even though there was nobody there. They put “no dressings” on my meals, and proceeded to charge me extra for the dressings instead of including it on my meal?? The food tasted weird so i had to throw it away. It tasted like it was sitting there for hours and they had to through hot sink water on it to warm it up. The lemonade tasted really watered down, but atleast the biscuits tasted okay :’). If you can avoid this popeyes, i would recommend that…

I honestly feel bad for the employees that work here. It was extremely hot in the restaurant, had to wait like 10 minutes to get my sandwich witch I was okay with especially since young lady who helped me out was cool and explained the situation instead of just watching me wait. She was the only good part about my experience here. And tbh its not really the employees fault, I blame management and corporate or if this place is independently owned I blame the owner. I get it working jobs like this probably really sucks but I mean if you’re gonna work here at least do your job correctly. Management needs to do a better job of training or corporate needs to do a better job of training their managers I run into this experience all over the place at all different kinds of Popeyes so I’m starting to think that it’s coming from higher up. But it was extremely hot in there, especially after waiting for like 10 minutes for my food put the AC on for Christ sake. The only reason you’re not getting one star is across the border is because of the young lady who actually Somewhat competent.

Not only did they mess up on the strawberry biscuits an charger me for strawberry cream pies that were more expensive also was charged for the ghost pepper sandwich 2 of them an was given classic with cheese nothing spicy about this sandwich or even good had went thru drive thru had me being kept put on hold. Was very nice didn’t cause problems when they messed up on my biscuits but now get home and find out been cheated out of my money an didn’t get no refund for being over charged.Warning to anyone else that goes here check your food because they definitely going make it wrong. Very upset now cause 8 dollars for a ghost pepper sandwhich sn got a regular nothing spicy no bacon no cheese no spice. Paid $63.14 for all of it to be wrong. Waited extra 10 mins for the wrong strawberry item, then had to wait another 20 mins all together was 40 mins waiting. Disappointed

Meal on offer during lunch hours at $7.99 but was charged at $9.99. Asked the cashier about it, was told the manager was not around and she could not do anything. After I left the counter, she complained to her colleagues that I made a fuss over $2. She even showed her temper afterwards. Very bad customer service.

Never again. I waited 40 minutes with 5 cars ahead of me for two meals that look like this? I paid $28 bucks for 10 fries and a burnt biscuit that I can't even break open because it's so hard. Waste of money and time because now I got to go get something else to eat. Don't eat here

The food was not good at all. I went all the way to Whittier hoping to get a good meal. I could have went to the closest Popeye's for horrible chicken. It is hard to find a Popeye's with good chicken. This is so disappointing. I got a 8 pc meal and I got 1 breast, 3 thighs, 3 wings and 1 leg. The beans and rice were like watered-down. The biscuits were hard. I went at around 10:30 am. You would think that everything would be fresh. Tasted like yesterday's leftovers. I will have to find another fried chicken spot.
