6S Steakhouse

I went here with my wife to celebrate my birthday and it was an absolutely amazing place to eat at, The service is top notch and the food is high quality and comes out quickly. When we were there that evening they had live music. The steak that I ordered was cook perfectly and the sides were very good also. I recommend making reservations online ahead of time because they get very busy. I did make reservations and when I got there I told them my name and time of reservation and we were seated immediately. This place is on the expensive side but totally worth every penny.

My wife and I had a wonderful fine-dining experience. We had a great, friendly and professional waiter Cameron. We ate Wagyu beef (our first time eating wagyu beef) and bacon for our appetizers. We had the salmon and KC strip steak for our main courses. Everything tasted great! Also, who knew bacon could be a fancy app. We also ordered various drinks: Birds of a Fever, a Manhattan and Old Fashioned. They were all enjoyable and my wife really liked the refreshing Birds of a Fever. We were gifted with a dessert and “fireworks” by Cameron and we were like “Yep, Cameron and 6S know what they’re doing!” The restaurant offers upscale, posh decor. All the employees we interacted with from the beginning to the end of our time at 6S were super friendly. We will definitely be back!

Really awesome place. They have AMAZING food. They have delicious drinks! The patio is beautiful, we went early just to hang out on the patio and have drinks. The staff is lovely, super helpful, and attentive. They have DRY AGED steaks!!! And they are divine. The whole roasted garlic on the side, is just marvelous. The sides were tasty as well. The beef tartar was mouthwatering. Saffron Creme Brulee was sweet and so scrumptious. Definitely an impressive addition for Wichita!!! It's not super expensive, there are many entrees that look appetizing other than steak, the service is top notch, and it's just BEAUTIFUL inside and out! Hard to beat!

Hubs bought a gift card package at a silent auction, and 6S was one of the restaurants. We hadn't yet been, and had only really heard how expensive it is. Truthfully, it was on par with other upscale restaurants in town, and we wished we had visited sooner! Our servers was great, and the food was good. Popover rolls were brought to the table as we made our selections: blistered shishito peppers to start, prime rib and burgundy mushrooms for him, and a chicken dish I CANNOT remember the name of.... but it was quite good! And filling - I had to take some home for a snack later on. We will go back!

Very nice quiet early dinner for my anniversary. Modern decor. The bread/popovers we a tad salty but hot and delicious. Very good wine selection. The filet was cooked perfectly and seasoned well. We had to run to pick up our children before dessert. Our server told us to stop by on the way back and we were given a complementary dessert to go. The butter cake was delicious. Great surprise! Awesome service. They don't bother you too much but are there whenever you need them. They make great suggestions as well. Will be going back to try other dishes.

The steak was pretty good! The ambience is almost unmatched by most restaurants. The server was also excellent. Friday nights feature local artists. The artist during our meal was one of the best live musicians I've heard in a while. The bread before the meal, and the bacon appetizer hit every note ;)

Julio is amazing! Loved it here. My husband and I celebrated our 3 year wedding anniversary and this steakhouse caught us by surprise because it is so different from all the others we have been to. From the unique setting of the booths and the ambiance to the capability of playing our own music within our booth area. The food was great and the service was phenomenal. I see us coming back before we leave Kansas! Thank you 6S Steakhouse for a wonderful experience.

Go during happy house with specials on drinks and appetizers. Whitney Means was singing and her voice is incredible. Sea Bass was excellent. Cooked perfectly with lots of flavored and seasoning. I asked for the sauce on the side cause I don’t like it on the fish. It was great butterfly lemon flavor to dip into.

Tonight I had the pleasure of dining at 6s steakhouse again. They never disappoint! I had the steak frites and grilled asparagus for supper. Then finished the night off with their gelato pie. Everything was exquisite. If you're wanting a high caliber restaurant with a relaxed atmosphere go to 6s! Seth, Julio, and the team are the best in Wichita. It was the just the evening I needed after a very long week!

Our first visit. We had the delectable pleasure of being served by Tessa... who is a very wonderful person to get to know. She masterfully guided us through the menu and selections, quickly earning our trust. My co-worker and I started our meal with fried colamari. Wonderfully cooked and seasoned to perfection. Tessa led me to the Chilean Sea Bass. In a word, magnificent. The preparation was wonderful. The fish was light meting in your mouth. I had mine served over their corn dish, which made a wonderful pairing. It's definitely a place to stop and dine.

Came here with my wife for our date night/ late Valentine’s Day dinner. Everything from start to finish was excellent. The bread was warm and fresh. Water was chilled and my glass was never empty. Their happy hour is awesome, it is extended to the entire resturant which is amazing. Me and my wife got 5 dollar glasses of Cabernet, and 7 dollar martinis/ drinks. We got two appetizers on happy house ( 6S slider, and boneless buffalo wings), both delicious and perfect tasting serving for two people. Most steak houses don’t include a side, both of our filets came with a side, and we also added lobster Mac and cheese. The Brussels sprouts were phenomenal! For desert we got the bread pudding & key lime pie (delicious)! Our server Dolo was spectacular, around enough to cater to our order/dining needs, but not hovering. She was very professional and attentive! We also had the private booth, with blue tooth we were able to control the music. 10/10 experience!

This is my spot! The wait staff and the hostess are ALWAYS amazing. They are also very accommodating to your needs. The food has always been on point. This is a great place to go for business as well as a nice night out with friends or your significant other! The deserts are delicious. Thank you 6S for being so amazing.

Everything about this place was 5 stars. The food, service, and atmosphere. Early Father's Day gift, and my husband thoroughly enjoyed himself.

01/11/25--Tanner and crew did great once again. We're planning to come here more often. 01/10/25--We're coming back for Dad's 94th birthday tomorrow! 01/12/24--We went last night for my dad's 93rd birthday and it was a truly remarkable experience. Tanner and the rest of the staff who served us were attentive and our drink glasses never went dry. Complements to the chefs who prepared our food, it came out hot and perfectly prepared. Although there were others with us who had been there before, this was my first time and I am suitably impressed. Thank you for a wonderful evening to remember.

We had a lovely anniversary dinner here. The atmosphere was lovely, the waiter attentive, and the food delicious! $$$$ it was a bit pricey and we will visit on special occasions.

Another great dinner in the books Ribeye - sea bass and a lobster tail to top it off! Only thing better than dinner was the time with my wife. Sincerely Chris

Dora was amazing and the food was phenomenal! We made reservations and when asked if it was a special occasion they went all out to make it a special night for us! So happy we got to spend it here! We appreciate you all! To any management reading this Dora deserves the biggest Christmas Bonus! Dora is for real the reason why we are definitely coming back.

A wonderful restaurant offering delicious food and excellent service. The menu had something for everyone, and everything we tried was fantastic. The staff made us feel welcome and ensured a smooth dining experience. I loved the atmosphere—comfortable, elegant, and relaxing. Truly worth a visit if you enjoy quality dining.

Absolutely loved going here!!! Courtney was amazing (she deserves so much credit as it is hard to find good waiters/waitresses so whoever sees this, Courtney who was working evening 11/22 was awesome, please tell her) and the food was delicious!!! We each had different steaks and were happy with cook and flavor of both. If I had to have a complaint, it would be the size of the "scoop" of ice cream included with dessert. It was more like a dollap. Other than that, would definitely eat here again!

We went there on a Sunday evening and it was fantastic! The food and the service were very good!!! David served us and was absolutely amazing, very attentive and responsive to our group’s orders. I will definitely go back there again!!!

We came to celebrate my wife’s birthday which Julio M and the staff made it feel welcoming and special. I had the KC Strip and my wife got the prime rib which were both full of flavor and just melted on my tounge. Honestly it’s a great restaurant and would come again!

We absolutely loved this restaurant. If you come here please request Tanner to be your server. Tanner was very knowledgeable and personable. We had the ribeye and the Bleu cheese butter and I have craved it ever since. If we are ever back in town this place is a must.

First time visit. Calamari is amazing, the steak was fantastic and so were the lamb chops. Would definitely recommend. We'll be back again and again.

Had the 16oz Rib Eyeon Sunday night, and it was fanominal! Our server (bartender) was very nice and helpful. She helped my wife and I settle what appetizer we should get. We got the lobster cargot and they had tons of flavor packed into those small bites. Over all we had a great experience for our first visit. Next visit I'll be trying some of their aged meats now that I know they know what they are doing.

Our group enjoyed a great happy hour. The drinks and appetizers were very good, our waitress did a great job of taking care of our group. Friendly, efficient, very friendly. The venue is very attractive and comfortable, I will definitely recommend this restaurant and plan to return soon.

The place is great and the staff are very friendly. I'd love to give them 5 stars, but tonight, definitely, the cook was off his game. The steaks kept coming out over cooked, and the mashed potatoes somehow managed to be salty also. I will definitely go back and give them a second chance, hoping it goes better next time. Definitely do recommend their Sangría flight special for Tuesdays.

My second time to 6S. The first I thought the steak was very good. Not the best ever but worth the price. This time it was average. I got the Filet Mignon. It was a little over cooked on one end and a little dry. Not bad, but average. A colleague got the Wagu and it was excellent. So maybe just my cut wasn't the best. Over all the atmosphere and service is very good at 6S. It's a great place to celebrate or have a nice dinner with your significant other. Give it a try.

I am not native to Wichita , but familiar enough with the area to know this establishment is considered one of the best. I did arrive later in the evening close to closing, so my experience could be a one-off. However, I was eager to try the food here. I started with some nice truffle fries and they were scrumptious 😋. I followed that with a glass of red wine, prime rib cut and Brussels sprouts. The Brussels sprouts were glaze but lacked flavor, I’d prefer Red Lobsters glazed Brussels sprouts for comparison. The prime rib cut was served with their signature Au Jus and horseradish sauces. I was disappointed to say the least. The establishment has a great atmosphere with nice accentuates of a wine cellar, a little history of Wichita all molded in an elegant design. I probably would not make this a go-to for celebration.

***Gold Review***(The Steven's will earn a higher review score when they stop quietly trying to screw their employees over.) Having said this come here with "Cash Only" for your tip to your wait staff. I can honestly say this place is one of the BEST steakhouses I have been to in Wichita. You definitely get what you pay for here. For my 5 family members, we had a $450 ticket with a $90 tip. The ambiance of the restaurant is really stunning. The menus are really innovative. They bring you out tablets. If you click on the menu item, a picture will come up to show you what it looks like. Their servers are good. They have amazing bread rolls that they bring out. My husband calls them "Bisconssants". They are like a cross between a biscuit and a croissants. They have multiple salads. I recommend the "Becky", it is delicious. The appetizers, steaks, and sides were all really excellent. Everyone loved the Lobster Cargot. The truffle fries and glazed brussel sprouts are awesome. They have several different types of steaks.

Not bad! The food was fairly good. Steak cooked to the right temp and well seasoned. The staff was perhaps overly attentive, but I'm more New England etiquette and am grateful for attentive staff. Our food was good the restaurant decor is much better and more modern than some of the local steak houses. We finished with the butter cake, if you make a ooey gooey butter cake skip this one. If you've never heard of such a thing try it. I'm assuming they're known for their popovers, and they should be, they were perfect. Over all a good meal in a beautiful location. I would be happy to go back.

I had chicken wrong selection for a steak house. But evey thing else was excellent. The service was great.

Before we decided to come to this resturant it was easy to reserve your seating and time from your phone instead of calling in. The place is amazing, staffs is very well respected, explained what's the specials are, also what they have to offer on drinks, for the first time customer, the environment is amazing well lit at very good setting and quiet place to have some time with your spouse and friends. This place would be good to go there, food is good. Small portions of foods. But dont like the prices. We wanted to go somewhere different for our 18th anniversary. We had 3 course meal. Fries shuld have been substitute for veggies. Fries shuldnt have gone with the steak. Not impressed with that one. We had to pay almost 100 dollars just for the 2 of us. It's amazing to take your date out or night away from your kids

I consider this place to be a rare gem in our town. Me and my family opted for a private booth setting where we could connect to the Bluetooth and play our own music. Our server I believe her name was Brandy was very nice and professional and patient which was important for me because over half of our group was silly teenagers. The restaurant itself was not very busy my guess is because of the prices on the menu. Their portion sizes are there, but they are lacking a bit in the taste department, and some of the food was bland. The drinks, however were strong and their chocolate cake is delicious but the butter cake they give out for birthdays was not a hit so maybe offering a second option Would be nice. I feel like their appetizers were better than the main courses, which is kind of sad But I would definitely visit again and recommend going during happy hour for half-price drinks and great appetizers!

6S is not the kind of restaurant we would normally dine at. It is too upscale and expensive for our budget. We were given a gift certificate for Christmas last year by our niece. We had one dinner earlier this year and it was over $120. I decided to try the brunch much to my husband's dismay. I had the Continental breakfast, scrambled eggs, bacon, and the breakfast potatoes. I thought everything I had was good. My husband and our friend we invited had the biscuits and gravy with over easy eggs. They both said the eggs were good but the biscuits and gravy could use some improvement. The gravy was very thin and the sausage didn't have a lot of flavor almost like it was a packaged mix. Also $4 for a glass of juice is excessive in my opinion and $6 for bottled beer is definitely excessive. Almost $85 for three brunches is ridiculous in my opinion. We were able to use the rest of our gift certificate which was our goal.

My husband and I ate here for our 1 year anniversary. I would have to say the atmosphere was the best part. The waiters were attentive right when we needed them but not overboard. We were sat in a private enclosed booth. It was a beautiful and romantic setting. I will say that while the steaks were good, I don’t think the food was overall worth the price. The lobster tail and crab leg add ons were more expensive than the steak itself and they were obviously frozen. That being said, the rest of the experience was wonderful.

Pay more for the scene instead of the food. Cesar salad was below par for $6. Baked potato was overcooked. The duck was good though. Both our meals gave upset stomachs. Offered us a bottle of Stella rose for $42 that cost $14 in the store. The best experience was our server he was very attentive, polite, and accommodating.

The service was excellent and their foie gras was immaculate. That being said, their valentines pre-fix was just okay. Their bisque was more like a soup, and their dessert “mousse” had the taste and texture of jello brand chocolate pudding. Personally I think it was way overpriced in regards to both the quantity and quality. It was also not very romantic for Valentines, somehow we were seated in a smaller room in the back that had crying children. I was a little disappointed for Valentines…

It was ok, I was expecting better food, our waiters were good waiters but really like 1 1/2 waiters for 28 people. The look also was not what I was expecting just something better is what I was expecting.

Definitely, not coming back! Thanksgiving Buffet was a FLOP. Absolutely not what one would have expected from a restaurant with this caliber. We made reservations and still had to wait in a huge crowd of people who were also waiting on their table. The buffet was very limited. Not much of a variety. The buffet servers had difficulties keeping food stocked in the buffet line. Most of the food was either COLD or BLAND. The desserts were bite-size morsels. Cheesecake came with no toppings and was grainy. The pumpkin pie... no whip cream. Very disappointing; however, the carrot cake was yummy. The service should have been phenomenal since it was a buffet; but...it wasn't. They couldn't even keep up with our drinks. Our server was pleasant, though. The check came out to $153.00 with tax and a 20% GRATUITY INCLUDED for three guests. Hope your Thanksgiving was better than ours!
