Opinions de Café Caracol Adelita
Very friendly staff, good service and friendly patrons, it's a fantastic place to go, especially if you're exploring downtown's Art galleries.
Authentic, family owned, and spectacular coffee. I visit this cafe every single day. It's conveniently located in a historic and stunning building with lots of gorgeous light. The entire staff is knowledgeable and treat you like family. I travel nationally and internationally for work and this place rivals every single cafe in large metropolises, every time. (I often find myself missing their Coco Lily Latte when I am away for work). If you're visiting Wichita or a lifelong local, you NEED to be getting your daily fix here. Such a TREAT to have here in the ICT.
Had an iced coffee and a strawberry pastry, they were both delicious. Really a calming atmosphere as well. Can't wait to visit again
I am sitting here drinking my new favorite coffee in Wichita. Seriously, it’s perfection. My previous fav has been dethroned. From start to finish, my experience at Adelita’s was lovely. I so appreciated the recommendations from the sweet young woman behind the counter. The chorizo/egg burrito was also fabulous!!
We live in KC, found this wonderful Mexican Coffee house and make it a priority to get our morning coffee here. Love the coffee and the people! K& J
I visited Adelitas for the first time today and really enjoyed the calm, relaxing atmosphere. The baristas were friendly and helped me find a drink that fit exactly what I wanted—decaf and sugar-free. The service was quick, and the overall experience was great. I’ll definitely be going back!
I was in town for a conference with a couple of friends and we wanted to try a local coffee shop. We were so happy Adelita's popped up in our search! This was the best coffee we have ever had. The restaurant is bright, cheery, clean. Food was delicious. Coffee was absolutely phenomenal.
I ordered a pour over and an espresso. One thing I think sets apart the great shops from the good is the focus on the beans. Rather than simply picking for me, my barista gave me three options for the pour over (now I have to come back two more days!). He was knowledgeable and friendly, without a hint of impatience while I took my time to choose. My espresso was excellent. Bright and fruity with very little body for an espresso. Highly recommend. The pour over was high on the good scale, but just short of great. Slightly under extracted and lacking a bit of flavor. The body was excellent and finish clean. Just left me wanting a bit more in terms of standout taste. I will be back.
I stopped in for the first time this morning and I was greeted with such a welcomed hello! I wasn't sure what I wanted and I was nervous to try something new! The baristas worked with me and helped identify what I may like. They ended up mixing up a perfect coffee for me! I will definitely be stopping in more often!
So many people—including the good folks at Local Roasters Co.—swore by Adelita’s Coffee Co. for their incredible coffee, so I had to give it a try. I’m happy to say it did not disappoint. The cafe has a warm, welcoming vibe with plenty of spots to sit, relax, or catch up with friends. In the short time I was there, I noticed a steady flow of regulars and new faces alike—clearly a local favorite. The staff were kind and attentive, even while juggling a busy stream of customers. I tried their Gansito Latte, and it was excellent. The cold foam on top added a smooth touch with just the right hint of sweetness. It’s clear they put care into both the quality of the coffee and the presentation of each drink. Highly recommend!
This was the cutest Hispanic coffee shop. The decor from the tables, painting, to the plates and cups were all authentic and really gave the shop the best vibe. The staff was friendly and I enjoyed a horchata iced latte with almond milk and tamales for breakfast. I liked they gave avocado with their tamales. My only downfall is that the parking is super limited since it is in the heart of downtown. It took a while to find parking that wasn’t paid, I ended up having to park two blocks away and walk there.
Tucked away in a cozy spot, Las Adelitas Cafe is more than just a coffee spot, it’s a nice break from the busy streets. During my recent visit, I tried their special “LA RONA MAZAPAN” latte, flavored with peanut syrup. With the first sip, I tasted a blend of nutty and smooth espresso, creating a delicious mix that stayed on my tongue. Each sip felt like a warm hug, especially on a chilly afternoon. Beyond the tasty drinks, what makes Las Adelitas Cafe special is its cozy vibe. The warm lights and rustic decor make it a comfy place to relax, whether you’re alone or catching up with friends. Overall, my time at Las Adelitas Cafe was really enjoyable. From the yummy latte to the cozy setting, it’s a place I’ll definitely come back to for good coffee and a peaceful break. If you’re in the area, give it a try for a memorable coffee experience.
Thankfully, two separate meetings for work over two days brought me here. I love the vibe of Las Adelitas Cafe, bringing Mexican flavor and culture to a typical downtown coffeeshop. I really hope that locals embrace the small shop, since I don’t live nearby! Counter service is super friendly, seating is cozy, and drink options are creative, with a number of Mexican inspired drinks. I had the horchata latte, which was awesome. Food options were good, too: pastries, bagels, and - my choice - tamales. On the first day, I ordered one green chile and cheese tamal and the server kindly brought me two tamales, also including the red chile and pork, to sample. The next day, I ordered one green chile tamal and she brought me two, just to be nice! The art on the walls is cool, blending modern urban imagery with traditional Aztec imagery. The stickers at the counter, all Latine themed, are clever and nice, affordable gifts. All in all, Las Adelitas was a favorite stop in my two day work trip to Wichita!
A superb coffee shop of downtown Wichita, just north of 1st Street and Market. A first time time visit which is rare for me to say about anything coffee related in the area. I had their horchata and it was a premium drink for sure. The real treat was the shop itself, with an outstanding authentic Mexican style decor that highlighted an amazing vibe inside. The staff was very pleasant and friendly too which made the experience a perfect visit. I’ve since returned and had the outstanding breakfast burrito, which was hot and ready upon order. I strongly encourage everyone else try out this five star cafe.
Absolutely incredible experience. This coffee shop is one of a kind in Wichita! They aim to celebrate Mexican culture through coffee with their many flavors and charming atmosphere. Service is top notch and no matter what I order, I love it! My new favorite place in town.
I stopped by recently and overall had a decent experience. The environment is nice and clean, and the place definitely has a good vibe when you first walk in. Culture-wise, I was expecting a little bit more based on the hype. I’d rate the coffee about an 8/10 — and that’s being generous. It was good, just not amazing. The inside was also a bit cold, which made it feel less cozy than I was hoping for. I would come back and give it another shot, but in my opinion, it’s a little overhyped compared to what I experienced.
I went in December on a Monday at 11am with a friend to try it for the first time. I try to go to all the local coffee shops in Wichita, and had been meaning to go since they opened. We were disappointed. The service was slow/nonexistent, maybe the girl was new. I got the ginger bread latte, my friend got a matcha, and we both got a burrito. No pastries, they were out. The coffee was ok, but tasted weak/watery. My friend said the same about her matcha. The cookie on top was good though. Our burritos were super small for what we paid, and not the greatest quality. Reverie breakfast burritos are better imo. Have to say though the salsa was bomb, I would pay for a jar if they had them. There is a decent amount of seating with lots of natural light. The vibes are great, but it’s overpriced for what you get.
it smelled kind of weird in here… like clorox or something but it was really strong and gross also, i wish they had a bigger menu; it was kind of hard to pick what you wanted when the only menu is a tiny one on the counter. it felt inconveniencing to other guests when we were taking a while choosing. a large one overhead would help people to not need to be at the register itself to look at it the coffee was fine but nothing special. the inside of the shop was cute, though
