Had the kindest waiter his name was Tyler he was beyond pleasant made dinner a pleasure will come back again. Need more waiters like him
After talking to the waitress and expressing our concerns having an allergy to dariy and gluten. All of our worries were addressed and put to rest. For all allergies, the food is prepared in the back, in a allergy clean cook area. You can still sit with your group and enjoy the hibachi. As everyone else is served, your food is safely brought out. The food is always flavorful and presented well. The staff is kind and knowledgeable. If it's date night, there is a small bar that you can get drinks brought to you at your table or hibachi.
Hibachi is fun once every several years. You'll enjoy yourself if you haven't been to one in a while
We had so much fun there. The service was fast and friendly even though we came in on a Friday night without a reservation. They were very accommodating of our 4y/o twins who loved their first hibachi experience.
Wonderful place and lots of fun!! I had the Hibachi Filet and Scallop dinner and the steak was the best I've had anywhere. Scallops were cooked well too. You get a lot of food here and prices were reasonable. Great place to celebrate a special occasion. There were 12 of us and everyone loved the food.
The food here is very good. The hibachi and sushi are great. I have to eat gluten free and they make it in the back so it is separate if we eat hibachi. They have gluten free soy sauce too. I mean these guys get paid to not only make great food but they get to play with their food(and ours) in a spectacular way!!! It is truly fun! I have never had a prob here.
Its a great place! Went for my birthday. Very fun environment and great for children still!
Fun lunch , with some entertainment too!
Mandy, our server, was outstanding and provided very prompt service with a big smile. The food was great. By chance we were there a little after 4:00 p.m. for an early dinner and was greeted with happy hour specials that were inexpensive and delicious. Great meal for a great price.
Food was excellent! Our Chef was fantastic. There was no communication with wait staff after our drinks and sushi and sashimi arrived and the kids and I sat thru most of the meal with no drinks. I had to get up and ask. Then I found out they split the tip 50/50 with the Chef. Which wasn't fair to him.
In town for business and stopped in for dinner. I was by myself which is a hit and miss for a hibachi place. They had a couple tables on the side. Service and food was excellent. Super fast and everything was delicious! I recommend if your craving Japanese in Williamstown
Took my three son's here and it was fantastic! The food is so good. They have something for everyone. Two of my son's had beef pad thai. One son had curry beef, and I had eel sushi. It was All delicious. Service was excellent, and the prices are very reasonable. Definitely going back.
Great place to go!! Food is excellent and the Hibachi grill show is a must to experience!!! You won't be disappointed.
Especially if you can get in here for lunch specials it’s almost impossible to beat if they still have them —- 3 classic rolls for $12-13 dollars OR 75% of the full medium rare steak whole hibachi meal if you come in during lunch. A year to they even let you get those deals till 4pm for delivery or pickup. The standards of spicy tuna, shrimp tempura and all tempuras—-plus delectable soups that span throughout the south eastern Asian peninsula makes it’s an absolute gem that you simply need to research when to go—or find a friend who loves it to show you the ropes and you can get out of there not only full but also with completely tastebuds that have had a variety of ways of having been satisfied with new flavors all for cheap!
Everything was excellent... from the food to the service and the extra special attention paid to my TIRED 2 year old and 4 year old! We went on a Tuesday around 4pm and found out when we got there, that it was kids night! My little ones were in heaven when Mr. Paul showed up and made them TONS of different balloon "creations" - a balloon birthday crown for the birthday girl, balloon animals, balloon "sling shots" AND covered them in the adorable paint tattoos - with glitter of course! The adults also got "tattoos" from Mr. Paul, he was definitely a great bonus to our already wonderful experience! We will definitely be taking the kids back on a Tuesday 😍
This was just an amazing experience and we had my mother's birthday there and it was amazing and full of laugh and fun and it was just amazing experience!!🩷 Tips to Jackie Chan we will be back again for Christmas!!🩷
My husband and I went there for the first time Saturday, and were pleasantly surprised. The staff was very attentive. Although there was about a 10 minute wait due to a lot of large parties, we were greeted within 1 minute of walking in. Our server was very attentive as well. We got the shrimp and chicken hibachi, shrimp and steak hibachi and crab Rangoon. Everything was flavorful and cooked perfectly. My husband likes his steak medium, and it was a perfect medium. The shrimp was very fresh and not overcooked. The crab Rangoon was light and very flavorful. We thoroughly enjoyed everything!
We took our son for his 21st birthday celebration 🎉 and all of us had a blast. The receptionist, chef and servers were amazing. The receptionist was very accommodating with the reservations and she answered all the questions we had with such pleasant tone. We received the first class services. It was first time for the birthday boy to experience such an entertaining and the most delicious Japanese food. Thank you so much for making wonderful memories for my family. We will definitely recommend this Hibachi restaurant and come back for more. Best food, services and atmosphere.
The best lunch I had for so long. We were here in buffalo for fertility treatments and stop by Fuji grill for lunch. I had shrimp and chicken combination hibachi and it was delicious and a lot of food for $13. Will visit again soon!
Visited this restaurant for the first time on June 28, 2021. I called Fuji Grill 3 days prior to make a reservation for 2 and no issue. We love Japanese Hibachi style cooking. The service and food was awesome, the Chefs performance while preparing food was great. He paid attention to all at the table. I highly recommend this restaurant to you reading this review. You won’t be disappointed
Great place, staff is welcoming. Food is absolutely delicious. Our family had a great time!!
Your choice on what food you like. The atmosphere is amazing. A full bar, beer and specialty drinks are available. Our Chinese food was delicious and about right for pricing. Our only criticism is the very slow service
first time here and was super satisfied! small wait but they attended us fast. the waitress was absolutely a peach, and the chef was super friendly and made the whole family laugh. food was delicious and super cheap for 6 people. will absolutely come back whenever i visit the falls again!
The food is very consistent and delicious. The service is below average. My friend and I both wanted dessert but the waitress never asked if we wanted dessert and just handed us a check.
Food Amazing! Huge portions- taste great. Ordered chicken hibachi with fried rice. Comes with soup, salad with the most delicious ginger dressing!, along with meat, veg and rice or noodles. Food came out quickly. The highlight of this meal was the FRIENDLIEST WAITER I HAVE EVER HAD - in any restaurant- ever - named Joven. I have traveled 5 continents - lived on 4 continents - been to a ton of restaurants- so I can say that statement with assurity. What a genuine, sweet, friendly, attentive waiter who you can just tell is a good human being. Very happy we had him - Fuji Grill should be honored to have Joven working for them. Anyways - tipped him 50% to let him know he deserves it. I hope he kept it all for himself (as I wanted). Enjoyed the food and service and highly recommend it.
Participated in a Bachelor-Bachelorette party here on a Saturday night. The atmosphere was alive and the cooks were talented and enthusiastic! 🔥 The food was good - though some items might seem exotic to a western palate.
Stumbled across this place and this will be one of the places that I’ll definitely be coming back to! Our hibachi chef was great! The show he put on for us was amazing, and apparently he can speak 4 different languages! The interior is also beautifully decorated with a lot of Japanese decors like lanterns. And most importantly, the food was also great! Everything was very flavorful. The steak I got was very tender and juicy.
This is my mom's favorite restaurant, so it's where she chose to go for Birthday #84. The staff treated her like a queen, which thrilled her to the core. We didn't call ahead, but our server did ask if we were celebrating anything special. Pretty clever question. It forces you to consider them for when you ARE celebrating an event. Well played, Fuji Grill. Mom wanted to be entertained, so she chose the hibachi table. We were seated immediately, but we had to wait a hot minute for a chef to become available. That gave Mom & me time to talk about how I'm her favorite child, so that was nice. The server offered Mom a special free mixed drink for her birthday, but Mom declined, which was for the best because when the alcohol hits Mom, she's dancing on tables. And since these tables have actual grills on them, that would have caused some serious burning. The server offered her a Shirley Temple instead, and Mom enjoyed the heck out of that! Our chef did not disappoint. He was a great entertainer & wished my mom a happy birthday no fewer than 12 times during the entire "show." She giggled every time. It was great! I try to stick to keto, and there aren't very many options for that unless you're super-specific. I chose double vegetables instead of rice, and didn't think to tell them no sauce until I watched the chef douse them with it. I'm not one to complain, though, and it was my own fault, so I ate it anyway, and it was delicious. Carbs don't count on your mom's birthday anyway.
We went here originally for the hibachi experience but deciding to just get a regular table instead. The experience was still great. Food, service, and atmosphere are highly rated in my opinion. We ordered sendei spicy chicken, hibachi steak and chicken, miso soup, mushroom soup, and a lavender cocktail. The steak were cooked medium rare per our request. The portions were huge. You'll definitely be taking home leftovers or be rolling like a bowling ball to your car. Both dishes were flavorful and beautifully presented. My one issue with the food is that the chicken in the curry were sliced extremely thin. It was so thin that at times, I didn't even know if i was biting into chicken or not. I'm not sure if this is a skimping on meat tactic or it's just how they prepare it. Either way, I wasn't too impressed with it. The meat portions on the hibachi dinner seemed plentiful so I have no idea. The miso and mushroom soups were incredibly tasty. The lavender drink was tasty as well but the color of the drink looks more like gray, especially in photos. I would say the service was pretty decent. Our server was friendly. Our soups and drink came out quick. The main dishes didn't take too long after that. The atmosphere can be loud but we were seated in a nice cozy spot in a corner. It had warm lighting and some curtains that partially covered the corners to make it slightly cozier. Overall a great experience to just dine at a table. The hibachi experience seems like a fun time if you're interested in a visual show. Will be returning if I'm in the area again.
I celebrated my birthday there this past weekend with a party of 16 and I must say it was the best time. The Chef was amazing and funny and the waiters were awesome and on top of the service. Great Experience and we will come back again!
There really isn't anything bad to say. The waiting staff is very attentive, the food is great. I only recommend this location for the hibachi. The show is amazing the chiefs are very interactive, funny, and talented. If you are looking for a very relaxed and fun experience with your friends Fuji is the place to go. 4 out of 5 because there's always room for improvement.
The food is consistently above average. Hibachi cooks do a great job entertaining parties while preparing entrees, and the wait staff has never been anything but attentive. The place has gotten a bit pricey, but if you consider it an experience and place to eat, it becomes more reasonable.
Had a nice lunch with some coworkers. Loved our booth behind a curtain. Only complaint was that we needed more time with the menus and it felt like our waitress forgot to come back to us for quite some time.
I'd certainly eat here again. Atmosphere could certainly be better, but the staff was pleasant and the food was very good.
We went because they had true hibachi (where they actually cook the food in front of you) but, even though we called in advance, they said it would be a 35 minute wait so we just got a table. I was really impressed with the ascetic of the table; the curtains made it feel so intimate! Our server (i HATE that we didn't get her name!) was amazing; courteous, fast, polite, and knowledgeable are EXACTLY how I like my servers to be! We had four in our party but our entrées (house salad and meso came out first) were out in about 10 minutes or less. I ordered the chicken and steak hibachi meal which was AMAZING. I've never had a steak (cooked medium well as requested) was probably the best steak I've ever had in my life but the veggies, chicken, and rice were really good too. If I'm ever in the area again I'll definitely be back!
We decided to stop here last minute because we were craving sushi. No complaints about the sushi, it was good. I will say the non hibachi tables are way too small for 2 people; we didn't order much at all and we almost didn't have room on the table. I'll probably update my review when we go back to try Hibachi.
Went for a sushi dinner and were satisfied with the food and drinks! The appetizers are a must order here , the Crab Rangoon being an outstanding choice , the Chicken Gyoza was not far behind ! For Sushi Rolls we ordered - Mikes Lobster Roll and Spider Roll! Mikes Lobster Roll was good but it could be made great if the roll is topped with either roe or spicy crab would add a lot to the dish ! Spider Roll - Made well but the bite size was way too big , difficult to put the entire roll in your mouth ! The Hot House Sake was delicious and went well with food ! The hibachi tables looked fun and Will try out those on a later visit! Recommend for good food !
Been to Fuji grill a few times, first time at this location. Sat at the hibatchi table. Food was prepped very fast, fastest I've ever been at a hibatchi table. The food was very good but our particular chef was not really very enthusiastic. He was not rude, just probably wasn't feeling it that day. Would still go back and recommend.
When you sit at the hibachi table, they really rush you through the whole dinner to get people in and out. Our cook barely interacted with our group. Vegetables were still raw because he was rushing. They come and take your soup/salad dishes before you've had time to even finish it. If you like to eat fast...this is the place to go!
I feel the food was overpriced and underwhelming.
After waiting to be seated, we sat for almost another hour before chef came to cook. Waitress seemed annoyed at everyone and was not attentive at all. Bathrooms are always unkept. Very dirty. Chef and food were awesome as usual.
I called and made reservations for 12 a week in advance and when we arrived, they didn't have them but the were able to fit us in. The table next to us was incredibly loud and rude (seemingly drunk and swearing). The hibachi chef was squirting sake in their mouths over and over and banging so loud on the grill with his kitchen tools that we had to cover our ears. I asked our server if there was anything we could do and he said no. This is a family restaurant and very expensive to have to deal with that level of rudeness. The food was good and our chef was very nice (and appropriate). They didn't need to put so much teriyaki sauce on the seafood when they were cooking it.
Waitress was rushing when taking our order, not a very warm feeling. Fast and inconsiderate
Wow this place has changed. Ill start off with the server, he was great and was hustling. My group of 7 did the hibachi experience, the chef had 0 emotion. I've never had a more boring hibachi experience, along with the chef forgetting the guy across from us, in a different party, couldnt have shrimp due to an allergy. After all of that they forgot they lady, in the other parties birthday, and one staff member, the hustling server sang her happy birthday. Wont be back again.
I had to give you a one-star for atmosphere because there is nothing more distracting than sitting there trying to have a nice dinner having to be blinded by the silly toy vending machine that was five times brighter than any light in the building. Just move it into the front foyer
Sushi was dry tasted old stuck to plate salad dressing looked curdled soup was just broth with one mushroom they gave me salmon instead of the scallops I ordered. Salmon was thin dry and fishy. they brought me scallops and let me keep the salmon which was great because one person in our party did not get their food so they ate the salmon. We ended up getting their food to go. It was chicken noodle soup. No reason we finished eating apps and mains before he got his soup. I tipped well but won't return
Usually get good food from here but recently I got food poisoning from it! I don't think food safety is a priority here. Count your blessings.
Far from a 4.5 Stars… Food 1.5/5: Ordered crispy spicy crab and salmon roll, aged tofu for our appetizers. Shrimp dinner, lobster and filet mignon dinner. The maki rolls were ok but were need more crispy bits. The tofu was actually delicious but it was all really downhill from there. Started with a salad which the lettuce and other vegetables were swimming in the dressing. Fried rice was a bit under seasoned but was ok. Steak was cooked to medium rare but was too bland. For some reason our chef drenched both lobster and shrimp with the teriyaki sauce. Atleast three cups of teriyaki sauce was used for the seafood. The shrimp was also very rubbery. Felt like we wasted our money ordering the lobster that we cant even enjoy. Service 1/5: only saw our server once throughout the whole meal. As mentioned above we ordered appetizers and our plates were never cleared making it hard to eat around the teppanyaki table. Drinks were never refilled until bill was given so never had the chance to wash down the teriyaki sauce. Atmosphere 2.5/5: your typical cooking table nothing special about their decor. Overall 1.5/5: Would not cone back nor would I recommend this place. It would probably the last place id eat at around the area.
This was not a great experience. My party was seated 1st. We had to wait for a second unknown party to be Seated before our chef came to our table. We had already been seated for atleast 20 minutes. Everyone seated at the table didn't feel like they were given enough food. We were served very small portions of chicken, & steak. The second party were also given very small portions of salmon, chicken, & steak. We were given sample size portions of meet basically. We also didn't receive our appetizers. Nor did we receive a refill on our beverages. Total rip-off! Our waitress was pleasant and the chef was entertaining but he took atleast a half of uncooked chicken breast back with him. $70 for 2 dinners plus a 18%tip.
Terrible service at the Transit Rd. Location. We were seated and after 25 minutes I had to get up to find someone to wait on us. After we placed our order we were served two out of three of our dinners and the waiter never returned nor did we receive it. Both of my guests finished their dinners and I again went to find someone to see about the third dinner. At that point we just wanted to leave. A waiter brought us the check and tried to take 20% off instead of removing the dinner we never received. I insisted it be removed and for the first time in my life I didn't leave a tip. This place will be removed from my list of restaurants to frequent!
Went last night for a birthday. Everything except for our server was terrible. (Sushi was also good) for starters we were shorted on food. Big time. 6 of us ordered filet and they only had 5 pieces, cut and divided, whatever. They were all cooked far too rare. Ordered med well for my son which was raw inside. We continued to cook on the flat top ourselves. On top of that the filets had a funny taste to them. Just not good. one of us ordered filet and shrimp and never got the shrimp. For us who ordered scallops they were all cut into small pieces and divided up. We got less than half the serving you normally would. Which was super disappointing. The first scallop I Ate tasted fine but the next was not good. Far too fishy and left a horrible taste in my mouth. Threw the rest out. Was just all around a horrible experience. Seafood is not something you wanna take chances with. For a $400 bill it was just a total let down. The cook didn’t even speak the whole time. Maybe he was new? Bad day? Just a real bummer for everyone. Our server however young tall male with dark hair was very attentive and seemed to run circles around all the others in the place.
I placed a to-go order this evening 6/6 for Nagoya Pineapple Fried Rice and a sweet potato roll. I was given this as the Nagoya Pineapple Fried Rice. This is not prepared the way I've had it before nor are the vegetables the ones described on the menu. The rice is of no flavor and the chicken is dry and scary looking. I'm sincerely disappointed by this meal and frustrated by my inability to inform the business of the mistake because by the time I realized the food was wrong, I had already returned home (45 mins away) and the business was closed.
Of all the Fuji Grill's this one is horrible (OG needs some make-over, cleaning, and better food like the other ones have). Food wasn't anything like the others, terrible, staff didn't care to rectify or fix the mix up. Menu needs to be more specific (more detail on what the item is and not half a description). Food was off and seemed cheap compared to the other Fuji Grill's. Wouldn't recommend this one to anyone nor go again! Gross, disgusting, hygiene lacks all around (bathrooms gross- apparently they needs 4 or 5 air fresheners and as the pictures show not kept clean. Tables were sticky). Staff didn't seem to care about their customers but more so hide. I always remained polite anytime I asked for something or something was missing.
