Bosphorus Turkish Cuisine is highly praised for its delicious, fresh, and flavorful Turkish food, vibrant atmosphere, and excellent service. Many reviewers specifically mention the exceptional service provided by Mohammed. The outdoor seating is a popular feature.
Tip: Happy hour is a must, and portions are large enough to feed 2-3 people. Consider sitting outside if the weather is nice.
This is our third time dining at this Bosphorous location, and it continues to exceed every expectation. We absolutely love coming here. It has become a special place for our family. Out of those three visits, two times we had the pleasure of being served by Mohamed. I apologize if I am not spelling his name correctly, but he has truly been the star of our visits. Both times he treated our family outstandingly. He was attentive, kind, professional, and genuinely warm. He goes above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect, and that level of service makes all the difference. We have been to other Bosphorous locations, but none compare to this one, and that is largely because Mohamed makes the experience so much better. Exceptional service turns a great meal into a memorable one, and that is exactly what he delivers every time. The food is amazing every single visit. Everything comes out fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. You can tell they take pride in quality and consistency. Our absolute favorite is the Lavas bread. It is incredible. Warm, soft, fresh, and perfectly paired with the spreads. We always order two because we simply cannot get enough of it. It is that good. The atmosphere is welcoming, clean, and vibrant. The staff works together seamlessly, and the restaurant is very well managed. You never feel rushed, and you always feel valued as a guest. It is the perfect place for family dinners, celebrations, or just enjoying authentic Turkish cuisine. Consistency, quality, service, and hospitality. This location delivers on all of it. We highly recommend this Bosphorous to anyone looking for an amazing dining experience. We will absolutely be back again and again. Five stars.
It is about 3 years since we visited Bosphorus for the first time and we’re looking forward to going again tonight. The restaurant isn’t in Winter Garden but at the junction south on the 429. Restaurant is simply decorated with a bar area and outdoor seating as well. We sat in the rear of the 2 indoor ding areas. Our server was well organised and soon had our drinks on the table. The menu is quite large but we had looked at it online before setting off so knew what we wanted ie what we had last time - the mixed grill for 2 and one of the ‘puffed up’ breads. It arrived remarkably quickly and is a great selection of lamb and chicken together with salads and rice. The meat was cooked beautifully and was a perfect quantity for the 2 of us with the bread as well. An enjoyable meal.
Bosphorous Turkish Cuisine – Winter Garden delivers an experience that honors the depth and elegance of traditional Turkish cooking while remaining accessible and inviting. We began with the lava hollow bread, served warm and aromatic, offering a satisfying balance of crisp exterior and soft, airy interior—an excellent introduction to the meal. The mixed appetizer platter showcased a thoughtful variety of classic meze, each component well-seasoned and vibrant, allowing the natural ingredients to shine without overwhelming the palate. For the main courses, the kitchen truly excelled. The fried Mediterranean sea bass was beautifully prepared: crisp on the outside, tender and moist within, and delicately seasoned to preserve the fish’s natural sweetness. The lamb shank was equally impressive—slow-cooked to perfection, deeply flavorful, and falling effortlessly off the bone. The richness of the meat was balanced with warm spices that reflected the soulful tradition of Anatolian cuisine. Dessert was a highlight in its own right—decadent without being heavy. Paired with Turkish coffee served with liquor, the ending felt both indulgent and authentic. The coffee was bold, aromatic, and smooth, providing a satisfying conclusion to the meal. Service throughout the evening was attentive and professional, enhancing the overall dining experience without feeling intrusive. Our party left thoroughly satisfied, having enjoyed not just a meal, but a genuine taste of Turkish hospitality. Bosphorous Turkish Cuisine stands out as a destination for those seeking flavorful, well-executed Turkish dishes in a welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended.
You can never go wrong having a meal at Bosphorus! We have never had a bad experience in any of them. The food was terrific, the atmosphere wonderful and the staff has always been great. The decor just lights up the place. If all the restaurants we've ever been to, this one has the most visits from us. As for the cost, you get what you pay for. Portions are large enough to have a second lunch the next day at home.
Food was good, is not super traditional but is delicious. The service is great, fast and kind. The atmosphere is good, but last time I went some drunk guy almost crash with me… Other than that, everything is good and recommend.
Service was good. The lamb shanks were amazing. Very generous sized portion. We liked the appetizers plate too.
Delicious food. Lively atmosphere. We had a guest with multiple food allergies. The management went thru menu with her and made sure she had a great meal.
My first visit. Impressive ambiance Helpful and friendly staff. The menu has a few items for vegetarians. The menu has a few less options for vegans. The interior was nicely decorated.
Always a great experience here! Chris helped us figure out what we wanted and explained a couple dishes we were between, thank you for being one of our favorite spots!
We moved here from California recently and have had trouble finding a good middle eastern restaurant. This place was excellent. The lavas and hummus were amazing. We tried the chicken and the tenderloin kebab and the meat was juicy and well seasoned. The kids even enjoyed the vegetables. It was our first time visiting and our server walked us through the whole menu with recommendations. And food came out at a good speed despite it being somewhat busy. The vibe is sort of classy but not so much so that it isn't also casual. The AC inside was cold, so we sat outside. Bring a jacket? And the prices were a bit high but I would say worth it given the quality of the food. All in all we had a great time and will be coming back.
We sat at the bar and Marcos was fabulous! He was amazing, we had a great time. We had a few Bosphorus miles and Blueberry Mojitos, appetite had the pick two hummus and Ezma with fantastic hand made lavash bread. Which was AMAZING!! For dinner we ate the meat sampler for two (forgot the name, must be the mojito), also scrumptious!! We topped the night off with two dark chocolate mousse desserts! Definitely a place to go! The atmosphere, service and food all top notch! We will be back! Thanks Marcos!!
Absolutely delicious and tender lamb, and every dish I sampled was fantastic! The lunch deal is a great value. Definitely recommended!
Went on v-day for dinner and it was overall enjoyable. Service was good. Food was good. We had a couple of drinks and shareable appetizers and the mixed grill entree which gives you a taste of multiple options on the menu. Everything was flavorful. A little on the expensive side but a nice option to go back to once in a while if you’re craving Mediterranean food. The manager walked by the tables and handed roses to say happy Valentine’s Day. Nice gesture.
5 star experience if there ever was one. The food was incredible. The lamb was genuinely remarkable. Haven’t had any lamb that tender before that still packed so much flavors. The sea bass and salmon were also delicious and perfectly prepared. Highly recommend the lavash and dips if you go with a group. The service was also so friendly and perfect. Multiple times they checked in at the perfect time or took care of things before we could think to ask. Would absolutely go out of my way to go again.
Outstanding experience! I highly recommend Jordan! He took great care of us during our first time in the restaurant. Thankful for the amazing recommendations and positivity, definitely coming back!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely amazing experience at Bosphorus Turkish Cuisine in Winter Garden! The food was incredibly fresh and flavorful, with every dish perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. From the warm, fluffy bread to the rich, authentic flavors of the entrées, everything was delicious. The atmosphere was inviting, and the service was top-notch—friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. I will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an authentic Turkish dining experience!
Outstanding experience! I highly recommend Jordan! He took great care of us during our first time in the restaurant. Thankful for the amazing recommendations and positivity, definitely coming back!
Went here for Magical Dining 2024. For appetizers, my husband got the feta egg rolls and I got fried falafel. For the main, my husband got the lamb shank (he got two shanks with his order) and I got beef kabobs. All four were delicious and the presentation was beautiful. Mine came with a variety of pickled vegetables- carrots, onions and cabbage-which were just lovely and added perfectly to the tender beef pieces. We had to take a large part of our entree plus 100% of our desserts home because the portions were so generous. We will certainly be back. Highly recommend! (Sorry the pics are of partially consumed plates. Everything was just so good we couldn't help it!)
Bosphorus Turkish Cuisine in the Hamlin Neighborhood of Winter Garden / Horizon West is not to be missed! I recently enjoyed lunch there. The restaurant is beautiful with cozy seating inside, on the lovely covered outdoor patio, or at the bar. Service was attentive and friendly. Menu is extensive and authentic. Food was freshly prepared and absolutely delicious! Ample parking in a shared lot. Highly recommended!
I recently dined at Bosphorus and was thoroughly impressed. The food and drinks were amazing, bursting with authentic flavors and beautifully presented. The atmosphere was equally stunning, with warm and inviting decor. The service, particularly from Nadia, was top-notch. She was attentive, friendly, and made our experience even more enjoyable! I definitely recommend this place for anyone looking to enjoy a fantastic meal in a lovely setting.
We visited Bosphorous Turkish Cuisine in Winter Garden for a late lunch on a Thursday afternoon. Nadya J, our amazing server. She was welcoming, efficient, and personable. We ordered the Chicken Sis Kebap and Chicken Sauté in cream sauce. Our entrees came with rice pilaf and a fresh pickled red cabbage, beets, carrots, and red onions. The combination of flavors was to die for! I highly recommend Bosphorous for a delicious meal, fun atmosphere, and wonderful customer service!
We found this place after leaving the pizza press location in the same plaza due to the customer service. Not only did we feel welcome from the moment we walked in, our waiter Eric was amazing! The food was also delicious and the atmosphere was authentic! The prices were extremely reasonable as well. HIGHLY recommend!
Wow! My wife and I went to Bosphorus tonight for a date night. Our waitress was Vanessa, she was super helpful and made awesome recommendations. We started with the lavash and seven dip assortment. That alone would be worth the trip. We had a couple of delicious cocktails, and then our main course was the mixed grill for two. Every single thing we tasted was delicious. The service was top notch, and we had an wonderful time. We will absolutely be back again soon, and look forward to trying everything on the menu. If you're not sure if you'd like Turkish Cuisine, don't worry. The flavors are very accessible. I can't imagine anyone not enjoying this food.
I’ve been coming here since I moved to Florida. Every single time, they deliver. The food is immaculate, exploring various flavors that will stimulate your taste buds. All the servers and bartenders are beneficial and friendly. By far one of my favorite places to eat and drink in central Florida.
We were 5 people all experimenting with dining a brunch here for the very first time. Brandon was our server and gets 5 stars for that. He described every dish on the menu expertly and truthfully and led us down the path to a meal that provided us with simply super taste experiences we won't forget. Now of course you would like to know what they were. Well, I can't pronounce those names, and can't spell them either. The mixed appetizer we starter with was incredible and the bread even more. Every entree was a new discovery. But if you order nothing else, wrap your mouth around a Kunefe .I am including photos of the decorative lamps that help provide the proper ambiance for this exotic food Every one said" Ah "at the same moment as it is extremely delicious. Gave this place 5 stars for everything and will be coming back after I learn to pronounce what I ate.
Having the amazing Adana Kabob customized to my request for replacing veggies with grilled tomato and asking for Sumac on side. This is technically the Iranian way of having kabob and they were kind enough to accommodate it. Thank you to this amazing staff and thanks to Kat (not sure how to spell it) the manager. Lovely place, lovely staff and food delicious as always.
My family comes here pretty regularly and we all absolutely love this place! We have kids of all ages (picky eaters) and even they love it here. There’s something for everyone! So much food for the price and it’s so so so good. Edwin was a fantastic server!
Best Turkish restaurant my family and I have visited ever. Superb food. Excellent prices. Geoff was a great waiter. Manager Justin came out to chat and get customer feedback. A rarity in many restaurants. Friendly and clean environment. Love the desert. Wish they were in west Florida. Will return.
First time visit & LOVED it! We came on a late lunch date for my hubby's birthday and not only was the food awesome, our server Vanessa was super friendly! She helped us navigate the menu (so many great options!) And her recommendation of the Ananda lamb plate was on point! Can't wait to come back!
I honestly always love this place. I usually get the platter for two that way it gives a variety for me. I like to also order the bread to eat with my meal. I usually order the Turkish sauv blanc which I enjoy. Service is always average to good. The ambiance inside is pretty with all of the lighting decor. They also have outdoor seating as well and can accommodate larger parties. Parking is nearby.
this was our first time at the winter garden location and we had a great experience! the food was delicious, and our server Carlos made it all the better
The food was incredibly delicious! We had a wonderful time and were absolutely delighted with the service. David, our server, did an incredible job! Thank you so much.
Bosphorus in Winter Garden has become my go-to Friday spot. I’ll stop in for a bite, a glass of wine, or even to get some work done at the bar or out on the patio. Jordan is outstanding — personable, knowledgeable, and always has the best wine suggestions. He consistently creates a great experience every time I visit. The whole staff is welcoming, and the food is excellent. A must-visit for authentic Turkish cuisine!
I started out with the Bosphorous in Winter Park, and it was amazing. So I had a friend who lived out this way, and I wanted to show her how great this place was. The Winter Garden location did not disappoint. Equal quality food, great service, excellent experience. I started out with old reliable: the Mixed Appetizer (Karisik Mese) (A combination of Humus, Babaganoush, Sautéed Eggplant, Muhammara, Ezme, Tarama, Haydari and Zetinyagli Yaprak Dolma). This is an amazing sampler platter that has a dip for everyone. My personal favorite is the red pepper-based one that's a little nutty. Don't remember the name, but you'll see it. That sampler would be useless without the Lavas (Hollow Bread) (Our signature, baked to-order bread creation. Highly recommended for all soups & appetizers). This massive flatbread is hollow, but you get double the visual surface area to rip up and use to scoop up those amazing dips from above. Not only that, but you can use this on your entrée to make little wraps/taquitos. Speaking of entrees, I got the Lamb Sis Kebap (Skewers of tender lamb marinated in our chef’s unique seasonings and chargrilled to perfection). Their lamb is perfect. The hunks of lamb are so big that they do not overcook. Super tender and juicy, perfect to cut up, put in a piece of lavas, and top with some of the pickled veg they give you for a nice little taco. I also got to try the Turkish Style Pizza (Lahmacun) (A popular Turkish dish with freshly ground lamb blended with peppers, tomatoes, parsley and fresh herbs on thin crusted dough). This was truly excellent. We got warned when we ordered it, telling me that a bunch of unhappy, vanilla people probably were unpleasantly surprised by this dish, but I loved it. A crispy flatbread, splattered with veg and ground lamb. Very unique. Very good. So finish things off, we got the Turkish Pineapple Delight (Layers of moist yellow sponge cake, pineapple and mousse topped with white chocolate shavings). This was nice. Moist cake, soft mouse, a lot of softness, not a ton of texture, but no complaints. It was delish. Not too sweet. Overall, another five star location. I'm gonna check out Lake Nona later on this month. I'm sure it'll be the same.
Bosphorus is my favorite place in the area. I lasy\t went there for my 63rd birthday with my wife and met my mother there with her friend. My wife and I had been there twice before. Our server was a fantastic young man. It was about a month ago and I'm sorry that I don't remember his name. The food was awesome and plentiful. The drinks are also wonderful. We all took some home. I;ll be back in 2 weeks when I plan to be in the area.
Step into Bosphorus and find yourself transported to the heart of Turkey. The restaurant is not just about exquisite dining; Every element, from the intricate designs that adorn our walls to the melodious tunes of Turkish music, creates an atmosphere that is both inviting and enchanting. It's a place where every visit is a journey, a discovery of traditions and stories that make your dining experience truly unique. The food and service is awesome!
Had the pleasure of eating at this very authentic Turkish restaurant while in Orlando. The food was amazing , quick to order and the service impeccable. The outdoor seating has a great aesthetic and the overall ambience of the restaurant was very welcoming and family friendly. I'm addition to all of this, the restaurant is also dog-friendly, with the server even offering to bring my dog Benni a bowl. I definitely would recommend eating here if you get a chance while visiting Orlando .
Amazing experience! We recently tried our local Bosphorus location and were pleasantly satisfied with the visit. Our dinner consisted of the Turkish bread (Lavas) appetizer with hummus. The bread was baked perfectly. The main course with Chicken Kebap and Adana was incredibly delicious with the seasoned well. The rice were also excellent. For dessert, we tried the Pistachio Gelato with the Turkish tea and wow! These were so rich and satisfied our sweet cravings. Service was exceptional through our server Jeremy. He consistently checked on us and was helpful with navigating the overall menu. Seating is great with indoor and outdoor options. The ambiance indoor is romantic and cozy. Details surround with Turkish decor and a comfortable setting. We will try the outdoor seating next time. Overall, this is a great local addition to Hamlin and we are excited to have Bosphorus here. Strongly recommend trying them out.
Luxurious and simply a decadent. This Bosphorous location in Winter Garden-Horizon West was extremely beautiful and expansive. Beautiful decor filled the entire venue there was an abundance of indoor outdoor and even a inclusive private dining section. The venue is complete with a full bar their menu is comprised of entirely Halal food refreshing for Muslims who often have little to no choices. At Bosphorous we were overwhelmed with choices from lamb, fish, chicken, beef, even countless options to please a vegetarian. The tea they served us was a blend of fruit it was delicate and soothing. Our waiter made sure we were more than gladly attended to consistently checking on us and offering refills we felt very taken care of. For our dinner I ordered the Special Beyti Kebap(Hand-carved lamb flavored with garlic, hot Turkish peppers & parsley, then chargrilled on skewers and wrapped in our special pita. Topped with house-made tomato and yogurt sauces) While my mother ordered the STUFFED CABBAGE-Etli Lahana Dolma (Freshly ground lamb mixed with rice, mint, tomatoes, onion, red & green bell peppers and garlic then expertly hand rolled in cabbage. Topped with house-made tomato and yogurt sauces) For our appetizer we shared Lavas bread it was puffed and golden to perfection and a side of Hummus and Muhammara the bread was so indulgent and the hummus tasted smooth and creamy. The Muhammara was executed perfectly. I love Turkish cuisine for one of the reasons it's very similar to some of the foods I enjoy in Arabian cuisine both in appearance, and taste. As well as the fact that so many choices are halal. Turkish cuisine is very expansive and diverse with many options for newcomers to explore. I am very much looking forward to their opening in Tampa or Wesley Chapel that I heard of recently. I hope it still moves forward InshAllah so that there is a Bosphorous closer to us. Keep doing whatever you are doing as the food is quality and the venue is majestic. Will return 5/5
Jocelyn was amazing! Her service was exceptional very attentive, kind, and always checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. She made the experience even better and the food was great.
Amazing atmosphere and hospitality. Although the staff wasn't Turkish they great you with a sweat accented Turkish hello and enjoy. Food was good, portions where satisfactory. Prices where high but well worth the quality and location. Even though I have given a 5 star review I do suggest keeping up with traditions and offering a cup of tea after dinner instead of charging.
Recently moved from New York City. I’ve been missing the cultural food that’s on every street of nyc. Luckily our new house is 10 minute bicycle ride! And I’m so happy it didn’t let me down at all! Food: so delicious which I did not expect for a place found in the middle of a theme park derived city. We got the shank which was massive! My brother claimed two of them to himself. They fell apart off the bone and have been cooked so perfectly. The bread is my favorite. Their dough has great yeast because the air pocket is massive! I really liked their stuffed cabbage, that was more my style. I didn’t take a pic because I ate it on the drive home. Hummus was great too, smooth not chunky. Service: we’ve ordered twice from them, both pickup and it’s been lovely. We’ve never been inside but every time we pick up, it’s really unpopulated (ironically that used to be a bad thing but this year it’s a good thing). We get our food fast and it’s always done a little earlier than expected. Atmosphere: it’s a new location for the brand it seems. And it hasn’t had much wear so everything still looks brand new and clean. Very ambient and dim lit. I immediately favorited. You just need to taste the hummus and you know if you’d like the place. I’ll take better pics next time. Bury me in za’atar please.
Bosphorous is more than just a restaurant—it’s an experience. From the moment you step inside, you’re welcomed not only by an inviting atmosphere but by a staff that goes above and beyond to make you feel at home. Their kindness and warmth are unmatched, and they even speak a few words of Turkish, adding an authentic and thoughtful touch that highlights their attention to detail. The ambiance is just as impressive as the service. The decor is beautifully themed, transporting you straight to Turkey, and even the tea cups and trays are carefully chosen to reflect the culture. Every visit feels special, which is why it has become a staple for my family and me. While the prices are above average, they are completely fair for the generous portions and the incredible quality of the food. I always order the chicken sauté with cream sauce, and it never fails to impress. The sauce is unbelievably creamy and rich, packed with deep, savory flavors that make every bite an absolute delight. To drink, I usually go for their lemon-lime soda, which has a fun, bubblegum-like taste, or their Turkish tea, which is sweet, smooth, and the perfect way to end a meal. And of course, their desserts are just as amazing—the cheesy künefe is crispy and gooey with the perfect balance of sweet and savory, and their baklava is rich, flaky, and absolutely indulgent. Bosphorous is truly a gem, combining incredible food, top-tier service, and a welcoming atmosphere that keeps me coming back. I couldn’t recommend it more!
Great restaurant! Amazing food! Loved the service. Koville was an amazing server! We had Lamb Shank, Chicken Adnan Kepap, and Kunefe
Outstanding restaurant! Amazing cultural ambiance. Great customer service. Delicious appetizers and main dishes. If you want to try something new and explore a new type of cuisine, I highly recommend Turkish at Bosphorus at this location. To give you guys an idea on what to order, you folks need to try out the select two (sauteed eggplant and babganouch) with they're special bread (lavas). For an entree, I LOVED the Special Beyti Kebap. No complaints with the food what-so-ever. Price feels justified. Will come again soon!
The food was absolutely delicious five stars all the way. The staff was very helpful it was my first time there and they explained everything to me including happy hour from 3:00 to 6:00. We enjoyed everything about it and we look forward to returning. The interior Decor is absolutely stunning.
We just did a bridal shower at the Winter Garden Location, the room was perfect, one of the few private rooms available in this area for a small group The wait staff were excellent, they were always one step ahead, the flow of the event was perfect. The food was outstanding, the quantities were enormous. It was such a pleasure to work with them. As a former event planner, I would highly recommend Bosphorus and this location in particular. The room was perfect for the even and the copper tables and blue backdrop wall were perfect for the Pocohantas theme of this event. They were extremely accommodating, the food outstanding as always!

This is the second time I have sat with Mohammad at bosphorus and he is such a pleasure to dine with. He is very attentive and gives perfect service! I am a regular at this location, and I sit in the patio a lot to enjoy some sunshine. I come back all the time because the employees and the food at this location never disappoint(:
Went to this place for lunch with a group of six. The service was fantastic. All the appetizers that we ordered were fantastic as well. Everything came out fresh and hot. The bread was amazing, the dips were super tasty, and lunch portions were generous. The Seabass was exceptional, the stuffed cabbage was really good, and the chicken and lamb were great.
First time trying Turkish cuisine, very good we give it a 10 out of 10. Beautiful restaurant great service. Our appetizers Lavas “hollow bread” a huge plate of this delicious bread, and we had a side of hummus with cucumber dip. For our lunch main course, I had the beef sis kebab served on rice pilaf came with sides of carrots, pickled red cabbage, and beets with red onions. My wife had the chicken with the same sides. For dessert, some Turkish espresso. A unique aspect of the espresso they leave the coffee grounds in the bottom of your cup. It was pretty good just extremely hot so be careful. When it comes to espresso, there’s 2 others that we compare with. #1 the Cuban coffee, “espresso” and #2 the Italian espresso, which is a tad bitter then the rest. with the espresso we had to complement with a delicious pistachio baklava, Fantastic! You do not leave hungry
We went last night for the first time and it was amazing. Our server Victoria was incredible- attentive and friendly and very clearly loved the food as much as we did! We really appreciated her honest, thorough recommendations. Just excellent service through and through by good people! Every bite and sip was delicious from apps to drinks to entrees to desserts. Great atmosphere, loved the lighting. Can not wait to come back and continue exploring the menu(or maybe just eat the same stuff again because it was that good!) 😍
We were greeted immediately by the staff opening the door and greeting us and sat immediately. Everyone was amazingly nice and had multiple people ask us about how we were doing. Our waiter Moreno went above and beyond for us. Gave us excellent recommendations and we loved all the food. The Lamb Shanks, delicious...Lamb Adana Kebaps amazing..the Sous chef Kenef gave us wonderful recommendations and the manager was so nice and sweet, she was wonderful. I cannot wait to go back. Like in a few weeks. Thanks Bosphorus!
We traveled from Toronto. Food was great. We celebrated my daughter’s 15th birthday. They left a happy birthday card for her on the table plus brought her not one 2 different cake with a candle. A special thank to Tanya she was great with us. ♥️
The atmosphere was wonderful. The menu is smaller than what I thought but had everything anyone could want. The Lavas arrived at the table like a pillow. The picture was taken after it had been deflated. The Hummus, Babaganoush, Cucumber yogurt were all delicious and perfect in spice. I had the Lamb Shank. 2 healthy portion shank pieces over rice. All was delicious. I highly recommend here to have an evening of great food and atmosphere.
Great restaurant. The selection of food was awesome the staff was helpful and attentive. The lavas was nice. I would order a bit more crispy next time. The humus was nice but nothing crazy spectacular. The red lentil soup was so good. I could have made a meal with that and the lavas. The Shepard salad with beef Shis Kabob was plentiful and filling. Paying extra for Feta cheese was different for this type restaurant but was plentiful and tasty. Wish I live near one of their locations. Will be back to visit when in the area.
An incredible experience my wife and I had dining at Bosphorus for the first time. We were greeted warmly by the host and very well taken care of by Chris, our great waiter. He explained the menu items and recommended all the right choices. The food was out of sight, fresh, succulent, delicious and a plenty! Mickey, the General Manager also came out to warmly greet us and engaged us in a delightful conversation. We will be back soon!
Absolutely wonderful! My server, Don, was so warm, inviting, and patient! The food was superb and the lavish was fluffier than my own pillow!! The lamb chop was a bit fatty and I wish there was some more acidity, but it was cooked with warm flavors so well that I didn't mind. Come here for a great time and a great atmosphere, with fantastic food to boot! Highly reccomend!
Great atmosphere enriched with beautiful lamps, lightning and cultural music. Food tastes delicious. Justin the manager is great and he makes sure you are pleased and enjoying your time while he answers any questions or explain the best way to extract the best out of your Turkeish plates. Our server Jesse was very attentive and provided great service with a smile at all time.
Enjoyed a lovely meal at Bosphorus last night. It was a lovely evening, great atmosphere and the food was very authentic and really tasty. Really good choice on the menu and the portion sizes were generous with plenty of fresh tasting meats and sides. The Lavas (hollow bread) with the mixed appetiser was so flavoursome - would definitely recommend a visit.
All service members were incredibly kind and helpful, food was great, and the manager even held genuine conversation with (בעברית)! We came at 11:00 am and sat at the inside bar while David served us drinks just as they opened. Our server came by and read us the menu in full. We hadn’t known what to order, so with the two of us having Jewish dietary restrictions, the manager Micki came by and explained precisely what went into all their dishes, and recommended we order the stuffed cabbage no cream and chicken adana, both of which were amazing! After finishing, they offered us a complementary grape each. Even their cleaning staff was impressive; before I entered the restroom, they cleaned it thoroughly and restocked all toiletries and dispensers. 5 stars through and through!!

We had a fantastic experience at Bosphorous turkish Cuisine. The food was genuinely delicious — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. But what really made our visit stand out was our server, …
I love Turkish food, actually all Mediterranean. I just took 1 stars off because I saw and advertise saying during haply hour, choose 2 dips and enjoy a full labs bread, we asked the server and said there doesn't exist (even when was at their social media) but OK, we ordered the 2 dips and the bread. Bread was really good, could have more seasoning and a little bit more cooked but was good. The babaganoush was amazing. The main course we ordered the chicken adana and the lamb adana. Both were really good, rice was azmzing and the beet so so good! Atmosphere it's OK, they have an outdoor area, but wish our server explained better and explained about the breed at advertisement (but if you go there, order, it's really good)
We enjoyed the restaurant and the food was enjoyable. The service was good and very friendly but we found ourselves frequently looking for our server for water, condiments, butter. The liver was overcooked, and dry, very little seasoning. The feta was very good but the accompanying peppers and pickle did not do it justice. The Lavas was dry but interesting. The lamb doner kebab needed seasoning and was bland. The chicken shish was tender and flavorful as was the rice. The menu has something for everyone so if you go you can select from vegetarian, poultry, beef, lamb and seafood. The outdoor seating is enjoyable.

Overall experience was good. Showed up earlier than reservation but were seated right away. Food was delicious, the appetizee a blast, except the chicken sis kebab was a little overcooked. But that was not an issue. However, our waiter could have done more efforts to deserve a 25% or plus gratuity and make our experience a better one.
I was on a week trip to Florida visiting some family and my brother in law recommended me that I’d try Bosphorous Turkish Cuisine. The atmosphere was beautiful and it felt like I was sitting in a restaurant in Istanbul Turkey, that’s how beautiful it was. We started our meals with their delicious Lamachun (Turkish Pizza) and I would have to say that it was better than any other places that I’ve been too before. Truly delicious served with a side of tomatoes, onions, and red cabbage with a lemon zest to it, amazing. We shared the Mixed Grill platter which came with their famous Turkish rice and Adana Kebabs and kefte kebab. Juicy, tender, mouth watering pieces of steak almost haha! However the beef kebab was a little under cooked and it had a gamy flavor to it which kind of turned me off. Other than that everything was on point.
It was good, the shaved lamb was a bit salty. We had the mixed grill it was $45 and feeds 2 people. Its smaller than expected and the prices were high, especially having eaten at so many middle eastern and Lebanese restaurants in other countries. The manager was quite personable. Our waitress was very busy and not as attentive. Good for a visit.
This is our go-to spot in Hamlin area. The food is consistently good and the service never let us down. The ambiance is always nice but note that I only come here not during popular time. I always sit outside with my dog and the servers always bring him his own water bowl. My favorite dish is the Grilled Lamb Adana Kebab. It never disappoints. I always end the meal with a nice pot of Turkish tea. Pro Tips: Come during off hours for the best experience. When I come during prime dinner time, the wait time can get up to 45 minutes and I never wait around for that since I would start getting hangry.
Really delicious and flavorful dishes authentic to the culture. I enjoy the ambiance but would love some live music. The food portions are large so be aware. I opted for the pistachio Gelato since it was "loaded with fresh pistachios" per the menu, however the Gelato left much to be desired in terms of the nuts. It didn't taste like it was made in house, and the spices were subdued compared to other Turkish pistachio Gelato I had prior. I also had the shrimp casserole that is SWIMMING in cheese, which was a little overwhelming, but still good. I took most of the cheese off. The lamb shank portions was HUGE, and husband took more than half home. The service was very good and accommodations were exceptional. I will def be returning and ordering the shrimp sauté and traditional baklava.
So many of our friends have recommended Bosphrous to us that we just had to give it a try. We were not disappointed! This is one of their new locations. We showed up at 5:30 and we're seated right away. Or server asked if we were familiar with the menu and explained almost all of the dishes to us. We really appreciated it. For and appetizer we had Lavas (hollow bread) with cucumber yogurt dip. It was excellent. It looks big, but after you cut into it, it deflates. I had the chicken saute with tomato sauce. The vehicles were perfectly cooked and the tomato flavor was excellent. The wife had the chicken Adana Kebap which is grounds chicken and spices formed in a roll and char grilled. Both were great! The only thing we had that I did not care for was the fried zucchini patties. Meh My rating system consists of a 3-star being exactly what you expected and neither good nor bad. A 4 means something was extra special and a 5 means you were blown away. A 2 star rating was disappointing and a 1-star rating is terrible
last visit: feb 15, 2026 food remained 4 to 4.5sh, but there was a cockroach found at the corner by other patrons -server cleaned it up with his hand (using tissue, of course!) -i mean, granted he would wash his hands, it's not a pretty sight to see especially when you see the same hand bringing food.. a broom or something, or a bus boy! november 17, sunday: had the lamb shank (dinner has 2 pcs, lunch portion has one) and it's really good but i had something else in mind (was craving pan-fried or seared lamb chops) the gf had the beef something and it's pretty good too! had the hummus with bread for appetizer and it needs the lemon (house water comes with) to give it the "oomf" effect.. i recommend the hummus with a side order of ground beef if they make it -just not sure if they do. for dessert we had pistachio baklava, but we forgot to take a photo of it. but it was really good to finishing our meal! (not too sweet) our server Christopher was awesome! efficient and a likeable-vibe-kinda guy. he knows the menu and you can ask him practically anything. the place is very spacious, very nice vibe both inside and out.. lots of parking available, handicapped spots available too. gf and my aunt both love the intricate layout of the restaurant altogether.. will be back to try out more things for sure! thanks Christopher!
My lamb & beef Doner Kebob with added on tomato sauce & yogart was delicious. My wife’s Chicken Adana Kebap was just ok. Service good. Prices are high everywhere now, but prices here were a tad higher than high.
This was my first time eating at this location as well as Turkish cuisine. Our server was Kalia(sp) and she was an absolute delight. She took the time to explain how certain dishes were prepared and what the would be paired with. We had missed lunch as it ended at 3 pm however it was happy hour and certain drinks were half off. Our meal was delicious as the lamb was packed with flavor. The hummus was so good especially with the Lavas. The star of the event was Turkish Pineapple Delight it was so moist with the right amount of sweet to accompany some Turkish tea.

Overall Suggestion: Do Not Order Take Out, Only Dine-In - I have previously eaten inside of this establishment and Loved it. Amazing food, amazing service, fantastic. - Based on a past dining in experience, we decided to order the Mixed Appetizer as takeout. This appetizer cost $21.95 on the menu (and when dining in - is well worth it). - When we picked up our order I was very surprised to see the size/quantity of the food. It was Significantly less than what you receive when dining in. - I mentioned the concern to the person who brought me my food. They did say that when dining in the portion was larger, but this was the typical takeout portion size. - To put things into perspective.... After dining-in with this menu item, and had eaten a Lot of it, the remaining take-home portion was still large. The picture attached is the takeout portion size we received today. This is "less" than what we had for leftovers when dining in previously. - The overall theme here is: If you are going to provide a smaller portion for takeout, then you need to adjust your price for takeout accordingly.
I have been going to Bosphorus for years but today this location was very disappointing. We ordered the mixed grill as usual with appetizers and a lavash. We told our waiter, David, that our only request was to have the food out together. After a long wait, the mixed grill arrived but it was cold like it was sitting out for a while. The lamb was very overdone (asked medium-well) and the flavors were not on point like usual. The waiter then came by twice and said the bread is almost out. 15-20minutes later the bread showed up and was burning hot. We burned our tongues because obviously they didn’t give it time to rest and cool. By that time the meat was already very cold and stiff. We also noticed that the portion size has shrunk significantly while the price has gone up. David then failed to refill our waters and tried to rush us out with the bill. I had to chase him down the restaurant to get more water for my burned tongue after we payed. This is very sad to see as I know how much the (turkish) owners/managers care about customers and the quality of their food as every other location there was an owner/manager checking on customers. I would say visit Bosphorus but not this location and definitely not with David.
Great atmosphere, beautiful building and easy access off of 429. The inside of the restaurant was not crowded, but very noisy. Outside dining was perfect. Great big fans, covered ceilings, and even was able to see a glimpse of the Disney fireworks from our table. I'm leaving this particular location a two star review due to unacceptable service and over cooked food. Service was slow, not attentive, and when we mentioned the over cooked meat to the waitress, she brought the manager and she had the kitchen cook us additional meat..... This would have been ok, however, by the time the manager came we were already full, hence when the meat came out we were ready to go. A refund was never offered or given, that was an expensive mistake by the cook. The Künefe even came out burnt. Disappointed overall with the quality of food at this and the Lake Nona location. Winter Park is probably the best location to go and dine.
Slow! Food is never ready when ordering ahead for takeout. Be prepared to be told it's almost ready and then wait 15-30 minutes, even when it is empty. Very small seafood and vegetarian selection. No vegan. Food is pricy, but usually very good. No free bread. Despite owner response, 5 visits and never offered or given complimentary pita bread.

I had been a loyal customer of Bosphorus Dr. Phillips since 2012 and considered it one of my favorite restaurants in Orlando, but a recent visit turned into my worst dining experience there. I felt uncomfortable and disrespected after observing my server, who I would later find out to be named Victoria, appeared unwilling to serve me by shaking her head “no” repeatedly after the manager asked her to serve my table. Management was aware that I saw this interaction yet never acknowledged or addressed the situation. After the manager spoke to the waitress, she greeted me and told me that she would be my server for the evening. Her behavior from then on felt forced and overcompensating. The restaurant was also out of my usual dish, and the substitute meal I was served arrived burnt, despite Victoria admitting that she noticed the issue before it was brought out to me, yet said nothing until I mentioned it to her. While the manager on duty apologized, they only offered complimentary gelato, which felt inadequate given the overall experience. Due to the poor service, lack of accountability, and decline in food quality, I left deeply disappointed and do not plan to return.
Super disappointed with our experience tonight at Bosphorous in Halmin. Firstly, our tables and chairs we receieved were tables and chairs that were meant for the outside patio seating. The table was very high, and our chairs very low. Our chairs were screeching the whole night against the floors and were very disruptive to the people who sat next to us. Especially when dining with kids who don't sit still very much, the chairs were constantly making loud noise. Secondly, the waiter was extremely rude and seemed very uninterested in helping us tonight. When we asked where our bread was after waiting almost 20+ minutes, he very rudely said that it'll come when it is ready. We had to literally ask for everything- napkins, utensils, plates, etc. When the manager came over to speak to us, she said she would provide a new waiter for us and apologized for the experience, yet we never receieved a new waiter. I am very sad to say I would not go back there, and this used to be my family's go-to spot. Seems like the quality of their food has gotten worse as well. We were given a free dessert, which we appreciated, but still would not go back again, especially when you're paying pretty high prices for the food. Skip this restaurant please!
