Lussmanns Woburn

A really excellent early evening New Year’s Eve dinner. First class food, excellent staff and service. Ambiance is lovely. The restaurant has been open just four weeks and they did a great job. Keep it up. Photo is of beetroot, onion and feta starter - delicious!

Lovely relaxing evening meal with the family. Children’s food was high quality and there was understanding that the food needed to be served swiftly for a two year old! Meals for the adults were also all well enjoyed. Highlight was Kelly who was a great host. She made some solid suggestions for food and wine, and, had the perfect balance of friendliness without being too intrusive. Thank you Kelly!

Had a lovely anniversary meal at Lussmanns. We’d been to the St Albans and Berkhamsted branch, so made it our first choice in Woburn. Didn’t disappoint - food service atmosphere great. I had the fish & chips special and my husband the pork loin. Cooked perfectly and so tasty.

Amazing atmosphere and incredible food! We had the duck and the steak, and both were absolutely delicious. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Service was a bit on the slower side, but it was during the busy Christmas period, so it was understandable. Overall, a fantastic experience - we’ll definitely be back and highly recommend it!

Gorgeous food, locally and ethically sourced ingredients. Attentive and knowledgeable service, friendly and welcoming. Visited as part of birthday celebrations, which was acknowledged with a complementary ice cream and candle to make a wish with!

I took my boyfriend here for his birthday, I had done a bit of googling and had seen that a new fancy sustainable resturant had opened up in Woburn, which is what drew me in the first place. The atmosphere was great, the resturant was full, and it smelt amazing. The service was lovely, our server (Chris) introduced themselves, took our coats and asked us if we wanted any drinks (espresso martinis please!). The menu was seasonal, yet still very versatile. Chris was great with his recommendations and we always ended up choosing one of the dishes he favoured. We loved the food so much we ended up having 3 courses. They even bought my boyfriend out a complimentary birthday ice cream with a candle in to celebrate! The whole resturant experience felt laid back but professional and fancy at the same time. Perfect for a special occasion or just a trip out for some delicious food, well thought our food. I am looking forward to returning, and also interested to pop my head in during the day time.

Really nice garden to relax to have a wood fired pizza or burger a few drinks with friends. Very relaxing and peaceful

Popped in for lunch after a long walk around Woburn estate and had an excellent lunch from the set menu, great service in a lovely relaxed setting and reasonably priced. Highly recommend.

We had another excellent meal here made even better by the exemplary service from Kris. Just the right balance of attentiveness and time to decide. The steak and fish were great and the complementary bottle of Chapel Down Rosé was an extra treat. Thanks Lussmanns, we’ll be back!

My fiancé and I had a wonderful date night here! The food was absolutely amazing, the staff was very welcoming & attentive, and the atmosphere was warm and cosy. Highly recommend!

We had a fine meal at Lussmanns in Woburn last night. The restaurant has a great atmosphere and Kelly and Kris were very welcoming and hospitable.

Good food, friendly and efficient staff. The two tables nearest to us were occupied by quite annoying groups, for different reasons, but that was no fault of the restaurant.

Absolute gem. Great service by the team and felt well looked after. Well handled for a group of 16. 👏. The dining room upstairs was perfect for the group, felt cozy and out of the way so also did not disturb the others in the main restaurant. Every course of food was delicious. Decent wine list. All desserts were great. Definitely going back.

When you get together with a great friend you need to find a great place for lunch and we certainly hit the jackpot with this excellent restaurant. Greeted with a smile and a warm welcome we were seated at a nice table and introduced to the menu. Looking after us was a Aaren who took the time to recommend some dishes and even gave us samples of the IPAs on offer as we hadn't tried them before. For our mains we had the Feather Blade and the Fish Stew both of which were cooked to perfection and delicious. Seated at the front near the window there was a lovely atmosphere and we had a few laughs with the staff which made the whole experience that much better. Compliments to the Chef, the staff and Aaren for making our first visit so memorable. Highly recommended, we'll be back to try more for sure!

Such a perfect meal for Valentine’s Day with my husband. 3 courses of perfection (I totally only needed 2 courses but some how that 3rd course squeezed its way in as well 😆) the atmosphere was really nice and the staff fantastic. We had a lovely warm welcome from Kelly (and she also remembered from my last visit how much I loved the aoili that she let our waitress know to include it with my order…..so grateful!) Our main waitress was Danielle and what an absolute gem she was. Super friendly, knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble. The food was another level, no complaints whatsoever. We’ll definitely be back!

Came here for a hen do . We had afternoon tea in our own room upstairs. The staff was very friendly professional and helpful. Food was very tasty. Definitely would return .

Lovely new addition to the restaurants in Woburn. We loved it. Really friendly, warm and helpful service. Relaxed atmosphere. And of course the food was absolutely delicious! Inventive menu and we were really impressed. Excellent wine list too. We will be back

Lovely lunch at Lussmans . Nice surroundings and choice of seating . Food very well presented and delicious . But best of all the service was really good. Lovely attentive staff and nothing too much trouble . Made a fuss of my Mum on her birthday which was lovely . Definitely recommend.

The service we received on our arrival and throughout our meal was excellent. The only reason l have put 3 stars for atmosphere is because it was quite quiet and the background music was very low.

We have been to other Lussmans, so were delighted when a new Lussmans opened in Woburn. We were welcomed with a genuine warm smile and then looked after by everyone perfectly especially by Hannah. The menu is excellent and it was difficult to choose as we watched other tables served their dishes. The confit duck was recommended and it was lovely. We also had the haddock which my wife loved. Great selection of wine and a lovely low alcohol IPA. All in all a fabulous start to life in Woburn. Please keep it up as we will be back

We spent NYE here, obviously a very busy time for them but wow it was super calm, service was ace, food was spectacular. A really great ambience! Will definitely be back.

Visited here with my son and aunty this evening for the first time, and we were all extremely impressed. The food was delicious with unique flavours, something as simple as the linguini pasta was very flavoursom! Service was great and will be back again very soon 😁

Loved the new Lussmanns. The wood panelled room was warm, and cosy. Great choice on the menu. The food was excellent both in terms of the quality and the competence of the kitchen staff - prawn cocktail, shoulder of lamb and winter berry cheesecake. No ridiculous theatrics here. Service was professional and friendly. A great neighbourhood restaurant.

Super lunch. Great service, delicious food and very knowledgeable about gf and nut allergies. We were a party of 8 and everyone really enjoyed their meal. We especially liked the choice of fish dishes and interesting veggie options. Will definitely visit again.

Had the set menu. Ham hock terrine followed by fishcake then cheese to finish. All well prepared and very tasty. Good service and allowed to go at own pace rather than being rushed.

Came for breakfast Saturday morning , not busy but service was slow , full English breakfast for vegetarian same price but only three items no extras where as bacon and sausage included for meat eaters. Food was ok just too long to wait

This whole evening was average. The starter took one hour to arrive. The hake was tasteless and overcooked. The service was soooo slow. The evening was a complete let down. The bill was anything but average!

Food over priced, useless waiting staff with such a strong accent you could barely understand him, inattentive, ignorant. Food was a joke, £18 for a cheeseburger, I've had better at Festival vans! The rice in the other dish was stale and bland. Deserts were good but frankly too late. Really uncomfortable seats too.

We just had breakfast here and it was the worst breakfast I /we have ever had !!! Sausage resembled pork flavoured weatabix so dry , bacon was wafer thin overdone coffee was bad and tea was shocking

Unfortunately, our experience at this restaurant was quite disappointing. The atmosphere inside was not nice; it felt uncomfortable, and I had the constant feeling of being watched by a staff member, which made it even worse. The seating was also uncomfortable – the chairs were not suitable for a relaxed meal. The food was below average. My rice tasted really bad and was completely tasteless. For the price, we expected much better quality. It felt overpriced – for example, a burger costing £18 is quite steep for what we received. Honestly, the only reason we went there was because we had a voucher to use. Without it, I wouldn’t have considered dining there. Sadly, I wouldn’t recommend it based on our experience.

Party of 7 wife's birthday 🎂 1 main never turned up till everyone else had finished. But that did coincide with all our sides , (chips, vegetables)trouble was we'd all finished eating. Our sole was swimming in oil with strange chopped tomatoes ontop. The manager gave our waiter a telling off next to our table. ( he was best thing about restaurant).about no stock till Wednesday don't have enough ingredients for that dish. The food was poor , except fishcake , and steak and chips , miracle chips arrived with the steak. Would be surprised if restaurant lasts ,needs to improve rapidly. They ruined her birthday, highly embarrassing.
