I had a lunch there of two breasts. Had the original batter because they made it right the first time. If it's been a while since you've had KFC, I suggest you give it a try once more.

This is my first visit to this location and it was absolutely a wow experience. Ordered the 20piece original hot wing in drive thru which is usually a wait for and I don’t mind because I love them. Told the cashier I would come in for my wait. Sergio the manager immediately offered me a cold drink for my wait, which was very much needed in the crazy heat. Sergio thank you for going above and beyond in your service as a professional thoughtful and courteous manager!! Got home and my wings where still piping hot yessss 🙌🏾 Well done to Sergio and his team.

This KFC has a fast, reliable, & accurate drive thru service. Not to mention the employees at this location are very nice, polite, & respectful which is rare these days at a fast food restaurant. Honestly its rare to get such reliable service & well mannered employees from any business that mainly employs millennials but this location is definitely the exception to the rule. Always worth returning here for dinner...

I went thru the drive thru and changed up what the meal I ordered came with. When I got home I realized I was missing an item. So, I huffed and puffed, drove back to Wylie. (I live in Murphy) to complain about paying extra and then missing an an item. Went back thru the drive thru, and the manager completely tuned it around for me. In addition to giving me the missing item, he gave me 2 more of what I paid extra for. Customer service is what it’s about. I’ll definitely be keeping this in my top 10 choices for dinner! Thank you!!

This was almost a 1 star review because the chicken I got was inedible when I first got it last Thursday. It was old and dry and tiny. However when I went back for a remake on Saturday it was an entirely different story and the manager was very apologetic. He gave me extra for the trouble and it was super yummy. He said sometimes the chicken shows up frozen after being breaded and it ruins it. I recommend going here but check the quality before you head home to be sure it's a good batch.

Jan 2020: We dined in and the service was great and speedy. I placed my order and sat down. My son, who was already eating because he got there 10 minutes before me remarked that it will be less than a minute that I'll receive my order. I brushed it off but to my pleasant surprise, the guy called my number! And the food tasted great as usual. =============== We walked in and made an $86 order and still walked out in less than 10 minutes. That's the kind of service I want from a fast food. The lady that served us was patient through our 4 order changes and helped work through everything we wanted. It was a great experience. I've gone here only twice and liked both times I've been. Their digital pay machine worked perfectly without a hitch. The floors are clean and the store is appealing. Great place and I recommend it!

Sometimes inconsistent at night. One night I got fresh chicken and the other I would get something that tastes like it has been under a lamp too long. Overall good though. I didn't like the mash potato and gravy but their crispy recipe and original is worth coming back for.

I absolutely love KFC! The only reason this restaurant did not receive a full five stars is because they are way too pricey! KFC in general charges way too much for their chicken strips. Their sides are good also a tad bit overpriced I think I'm telling everyone something they already know so let me move on to the service...it was excellent! No one does it better. I almost didn't stop because there was quite a line but we wanted KFC for a couple of weeks now so I pulled in and I'm glad I did they didn't take long at all the food was excellent - cooked perfectly, again, I think nearly $30 is quite a lot for 12 chicken strips, two sides and four biscuits. Chili's I could have gotten a full dinner for 2 (desert/ the works) for that price and a sit-down meal. BUT great food KFC and GREAT/FAST service!! Thx!!

Ordered the 8 piece meal with potato wedges and Mac n cheese. They gave me the Fill up meal that came with mashed potatoes and Cole slaw because it's cheaper? Didn't realize what I had till I got home. The 🐔 was better this time though. On another occasion ordered an hour before close and the chicken was dry or overcooked or both.

It's a KFC. They're all pretty much the same. Sometimes you get good service sometimes you don't. Food is decent.

Well this KFC is headed down hill if they dont change. The chicken is getting smaller and smaller with weird cut meat. This is the same approach that Church's chicken did to kill there business. I got a wing in the crispy and it was smaller than my thumb. Pass the sparrow please, not.

I find myself coming here less and less now that they replaced the popcorn chicken with chicken nuggets. They went from having the best chicken item in town to just being so-so. There is no longer a big appeal to come here unless I need a potluck dish at the last minute.

Chicken was dry but the sides were really good. I like the variety of chicken they have now. Choices are always preferred. The baked beans were gone and I had really liked those in the past. Drive thru was quick.

KFC has really gone downhill... The chicken was either overcooked, or old, or maybe both. It color was to dark, and it was very dry. The mashed potatoes look like the instant ones that you get from a box. The fries are good, but not as good as when they first came out. It was OK, but not great by any streach.

I have to say, today was the worst quality I’ve received from this location. I always get the spicy chicken combo and until today, it’s always been fresh. I know that they take the chicken breast from the cooler or fridge and then put it in the deep fryer because I’ve seen them do it, that’s fine. But, today, I got an old piece of chicken breast and most of it was batter. Sucks because I usually have nothing but nice things to say about this location but it only takes one experience to ruin them all. You have to be more consistent.

Chaos. Two people working meant we had to go thru the drive thru two times to get their attention and this was during the lunch period. It was very obvious that the manager was very frustrated. He was kind enough to compensate for our frustration by allowus to enjoy one of the great pot pies without charge. Very nice. He also offered an apology for the lack of enough workers. BTW: The pies are great 👍🏾 Very tasty and enjoyable

Saw the ad for the new chicken sandwich. Decided to give it a try as my once a month indulgence. Expected something like the online photo…received a regular chicken sandwich. The taste was decent but it was a bit dry and 1/2 the size I expected based on the website photo.

I wasn't able to order any sides because they didn't have any containers. That's what I was told, so I was only able to buy chicken, and make my own sides at home.

It's been a while since I've been to KFC. The kids wanted to get some so we went. * They do not have the Go cups for kids anymore. * They have up'd their prices on some of the $5 fill-ups. So the menu was harder to find what I wanted because they are in a different spot and it doesn't really clarify what it is. I also didn't get any honey mustard with my strips OR a cookie. Was the cookie discontinued ? All in all, I would MUCH RATHER go a couple stores down and get Golden Chick or something else.

The boy at the counter was very helpful. But the food was awful. The Mac n cheese was mushy and had a burnt cheese taste. The chicken was more salty than usual.

Update from 5yrs ago.Yeah, we have had way better. It's usually ok at this location but today was not. Super dry very old chicken and biscuits is what was for dinner sadly! 10/28/23 - so ummmm where is the sauce? We got the $20 meal thing with biscuits, 4pc chicken, fries, and chicken nuggets should have 5 sauces we got zero!!!

Spent $30+ for meal. Got home and took food out of the bag. Discovered the Mashed Potatoes were only filled 1/2 way and the Cole Slaw didn't taste right either. Tried calling 3 times and nobody answers the phone.

Ordered thru drive thru, was 1 car before me, told to wait in lot.they'd bring it out. I sat there 15 minutes while.other people came and went finally I went in and asked wheres my order, the lady said Im working it and she was mad at someone she worked with. NOT MY PROBLEM took 1/2 hr total to get 4 pot pies . I'll buy microwave next time

Went for the new honey BBQ strips were really overcooked and dry dry dry. Got a honey BBQ sandwich and it didn't even have breading on one side and other side was bad, very thin patty. We spent $40 for very poor quality of food. It never was like that, but now not even edible. Very nice there but food is awful. This review is not a reflection on staff they were nice

An order was placed for a scheduled pickup with a two hour lead time. The order included a 12 pc dark bucket, a pot pie, 12 nuggets, and a couple large sides. Upon arrival to pick up the order we were treated as though our order was a major inconvenience, and advised that we had to wait for fresh chicken. Again, this order was placed over two hours in advance. What was promised to be a "few minutes" resulted in a 40 minute wait beyond the pickup time. Many of the chicken pieces we received had breading so thick that it was gummy as you but into it, which was extremely unappetizing. What was meant to be an easy and enjoyable meal for my family became an extremely frustrating experience that put everyone on edge.

This restaurant sold me an outdated cake from 2/1/23 yesterday which was April 21,2023. There's no telling what other outdated food their selling.

I got home and noticed I got ONLY 8 pieces when I needed to get the 20 pieces. Way off!!! I just wanted to get home and eat peacefully but I'm too mad to eat now. 😡

Went in for a $10.00, 9 piece tender bucket. They want to charge 0.50 for each tender to do the new Smokey Mountain BBQ sauce. $4.50 upcharge for the sauce. Ridiculous. Have lost any future business, that's for sure.

This place is theorist KFC I’ve ever been to. They constantly get you order wrong. You call them and they show no simpathy, after talking to the manager he offers me a free meal the next time I come in, he said just give them you name and number and they will honor it. Low and behold I send my wife and they have nothing on record. This place a total joke. You act like your the only chicken place in Wylie. All we have is chicken places in Wylie! Today was the last visit!

Ordered from Grubhub. ETA 7:22-7:32. Watched driver on app after picking up my order deliver to 3 other locations in opposite directions from me. She spent nearly 20 minutes at the last location. Wonder what she was doing? Chat with support and they offered me a $10 “Perk” so I can order and go through this pain again. The ETA kept changing and finally became 8:22. Order delivered at 7:58 so technically early but in reality very late. Bags and container were open. Extra crispy was now soft and at room temperature. Customer service was terrible and ended the chat mid conversation. Luckily this can’t happen again because I’ll never order using Grubhub again. As for KFC, is this acceptable?

Second time around through this place. Guess what? YEP, just as bad as the first time! Cold hard chicken sandwich, cold fries and the one thing they did right. A cold drink......going to Popeye's down the street next time. Tried to contact them and have yet to hear a response 5/10/22. Also this store was in Rowlett on 66. Not in posted place. Finally did hear from KFC corporate and they sent me a gift certificate. Glad for the customer service! Probably won't go back to that store. Two strikes and not gonna wait for a third.

One of the worst KFC ever. They even charge for the cup for water which is free everywhere in the United States. Also the manager (a Mexican guy) was kind of rude and tried to upsell and pushed us to buy more stuffs.

This has to be the worst kfc ever! Ordered on the app 1hr before closing and all wS good until we tried waking in front door..... locked. So we went through drive thru. They handed me my order and I asked what was in the bag... found they gave me wrong order. Then, when got my order together, they told me they didn't have ANY original recipe white meat and so I HAD to take extra crispy. Then, when we got home we found the chicken incredibly dry and old tasting. I eat at kfc regularly near my work and it's always fresh. This Wylie location is horrible!!

This place is a joke! My husband went to get an 8 piece family meal tonight and they were out of Mac and cheese which other than the potato wedges was the only side we wanted. Mind you he had already paid before they told them they were out of this side. The “manager” came over and tried to get my husband to take another side. He declined and asked for a refund and he’d just get the chicken only. At this point he was told they couldn’t do that. Once again he was pressed to choose another side. At this point he requested a full refund and was going to go somewhere else. Thus time manager told him they didn’t know how to do s refund! 😳 How on earth dies no one ESPECIALLY a manager not know how to do a refund?! Now I’m stuck with a stupid cake which was “ the best she could do” that no one is going to eat! Rediculous!!!

The man that took our food order at the drive thru, was rude. Normally I would say, maybe this person was having a bad day. But it has been the second time where we’ve had a bad experience with this man. Aside from having a poor attitude, we had to fix the order 3 times. Sadly, I’ll choose somewhere else next time.

Everytime I get the 20 dollar family meal, they will not let me exchange the coleslaw, some of us don't like coleslaw wth...I've talked to other employees from other KFCs and they all say that i can switch it out for any other side but for some reason at this one i can't! All in all I've been coming here for years but I'm pretty much done and its a hit an miss sometimes the original chicken tastes great and other times not so great.

Horrible. Got there at 9:30 and front door already closed. Then tried drive thru and the guy says "order and will see if I have it" since all what they had were leftovers. They could not even fulfill 12 piece chicken, almost all would be wings!!! I told the guy it was only 9:30 and he said the best time to get there and have all available would be by 9 pm even though they "close" at 10 pm.

My girl loves KFC! I stop eating chicken about three months ago. And I decided to take a piece as we were shredding, the meat off the bones and the fat to mix into our dog food. He didn’t do anything for me as it has done in the past. You can’t even smell it outside the building. I also gave them one star because they know she comes about 3/4 times a week. And there’s always an issue. A couple of times she got old chicken. Didn’t know about it until she took it home so our dogs had it a treat. Other times she’s missed out on an item that she ordered or they managed to try to put gravy on her mashed potatoes. If it’s not her food is the workers that act like they can’t understand her. And then a customer takes up for her. I wish she would stop going to Kentucky fried chicken altogether. Because my little sweet sweet is now called chunky bear.😂

The worst experience ever at this KFC the manager was rude and wasn't interested in what I had to say. I asked for a 3 piece mixed and I received all dark meat of the same crunchy and the soda was flat.

I ordered the Tuesday special. The manager said since it’s a special you can’t get crispy and original then tried explaining the difference to me by using tv specials at Walmart as an example. I kindly explained that doesn’t make sense and the sign doesn’t say you can’t plus I was just there and they did it. He said his fault he needs to train his employees better while belittling one at the register that rung it up with no issue. KFC stop playing with folks intelligence. He also said crispy higher in cost cause it’s more seasoned.

I purchased a 16 piece meal with a coupon that came with 4 sides for 32.99 and was not given any sauces and ordered an extra large side of cole slaw for 5.50 or something and was charged $50.10. How do you not get any sauces when buying 16 pieces of chicken and how can a $32.99 coupon with only one item added be $18? No receipt given to show any cost breakdown at all.

I ordered a 3 piece chicken tender meal with potatoes and gravy and coleslaw. Second order was a 2 piece white meat meal with corn and potatoes and gravy. Didn't get the corn and the chicken tenders were very small, cold and dry. The tenders were not crispy and fresh . The worst tender ever!! They looked and tasted like they came out of a frozen box of breaded chicken tenders . The quality of tenders there is unacceptable. Golden Chicken has the best fresh hand made battered tenders. Very crunchy, juicy and fresh made. Golden Chicken also has a variety of sides which Kentucky fried Chicken is very limited on sides. I just thought I would try Kentucky fried Chicken again to see if it has changed. I WAS WRONG!!! How can the tenders be so bad. I guess they don't know what good tender are. On top of the bad meal I was overcharged, $16.89 for a 3 piece white meat meal and a 3 piece chicken tender meal

I have been to this restaurant and asked for coupon redemption but the guy said they don't redeem coupons. I requested to talk to the manager about this and the worst thing happened. The manager said we are NOT KFC, we sell our chicken in frustration I replied why do you have a sign as KFC then (change it to your own chicken). I told him that I have to report this and he said KFC does care for its employees, locations you think they will care about customers ?? I am really disappointed by the managers' behavior and no KFC for life.

I stood at the counter for 10mins with no one in drive thru, no one was inside so no they were not busy. Two employees kept walking by but never made eye contact just to run to the back and tell a 3rd employee to come up she came up and i said “i have a pickup order for ____” she turned around and grabbed a bag and handed it to me. That easy. On another note, one of the ceiling tiles had mold growing on it. Like it was fuzzy 😅 sooo i will not be returning thats absolutely disgusting and i cant imagine what the store where customers arent allowed looks like.

I went here on January 4th while waiting for my food I noticed all the employees weren't wearing gloves. Before I got my food I asked for a refund the manager told me they do not do refunds. So I call customer service and they told me someone will be calling me back it has been two days and I still haven't heard anything. I had to go to my bank to get my money back on food I never received.

This is the worst KFC! Think this will be my last time going to the Wylie location. The last 3 times I ordered here has been a terrible experience. This time I order at the drive thru but realized when I got home they gave me a dry old pot pie( which probably was sitting u under the warmer all day) it was literally overcooked & inedible…went back asked for the manager told him the pot pie I received was dry, overcooked and couldn’t eat. The manager didn’t even ask any questions and gave me a full refund cause he knew what it was…and you wonder why there are never any cars in line or in the lot and why the Chick fila across the street gets all the business…SMH do better!

This was the second time I have bought chicken tenders at the Wylie, TX this is the worst place to buy chicken! They were like they had been cook long time before I got them, they were cold and hard, the biscuits were the same! I will NEVER go back to thos particular store. Terrible service from a girl who speaks Spanish, apparently she is a manager, she wears a red cap because her name is not even on the shirt where it should be. She is rude, her annoying gestures were very obvious towards me, I practically ate whatever she wanted because she asked her to change the style of chicken!! Her gestures and attitude are not the best for dealing with the public. Not at all recommended. The treatment, the food is served to you as if it were for dogs and they throw the envelopes at you... It's highly likely that their grilled chicken comes from the same manufacturer as McDonald's ice cream — and just like the infamous ice cream machines, their grilled chicken machine always seems to be "down." It really makes you wonder if they even want to serve it. On top of that, the employees aren't exactly the friendliest.

Stay away! Living in Wylie for 18 years, I would never had thought I would have the experience that we had today. This location is advertising their Hot Honey chicken for $9.89. Three different associates tried to insist that the listed price was wrong instead of honoring what is plastered on their menu. There are too many options to put up with something like this. Appreciate the wasted gas and lack of customer service on a cold, rainy day.

They just don't want to get it from the back they should keep it out at the front for people that order in restrant. Ordered extra sauce on my spicy chicken and charged 2.00 for extra sauce and did not get extra sauce and the chicken look raw i hope i dont get food posioning, and they charge for ranch, and it was supposed to come with my meal they are trying to to make more money. This location staff is always rude and restaurant is super dirty the bathroom is disgusting. I hope this place closes down I am never coming back

Will never go here again. As you can see from the pictures of the wings, don't order them if you have dentures. I don't have dentures but might need them after trying to eat their old, tough chicken. The employees are pretty nice but the chicken and fries are consistently hard, old, and the wings have a splash of sauce on them. Dry. Dry. Dry.
