We live in the Palm Springs area and our Tuscanos closed down in LaQuinta. Such a bummer. So we drive to Yucaipa to get our Tuscano’s fix! Has By far the best pizza ever! Also awesome customer service from “Adrina”.
Whether you’re in the mood for a full Italian dinner or just some top-tier wings and a pie, Tuscano’s delivers. We’ll definitely be back.
Great food, service, awesome atmosphere especially if you're a sports fan. Oh, and they have a bar too! #salud
Came here as a local for the first time and can’t believe I’ve missed out this long on actual good pizza, the thin crust won over the regular but only because I wanted to eat an entire medium. I really enjoyed the breadsticks too. Our table got a few different items and they were all superb. We actually had a mistake happen and the owner Victor came over, asked what we were missing and took care of it immediately then checked back to make sure all was well. Good local spot, great atmosphere with full bar as well and TVs everywhere for the games. The thin crust cheese was east coast comparable 100%!!
Me and my husband are pizza fans we live in highland and usually drive all the way to riverside for pizza we been to many places around and out of town . Found you guys online and it's a nice drive their easy walked in and right away the real smell of a pizza place and I knew it was going to be good . It was amazing pizza and service was amazing lots of food to choose from. I recommend this place to anyone who's been searching for a good pizza place 😋
Callie was absolutely AMAZING! She gave us such a great first impression of the restaurant—VERY, VERY, VERY friendly, welcoming, and super knowledgeable. We truly feel like we made a new friend! We were looking for a nice sit-down spot to enjoy some pizza 🍕, and everything exceeded our expectations. The atmosphere was fantastic, and the food was off the chain! We will definitely be back 🥰
First timer in the house!!! This was such a cool place to chill and catch up with an old friend. We enjoyed some good food and good ambience. Everyone was kind and professional. I will most def come back with my family as they like wings like me. I had the bbq wings 10/10, Buffalo cauliflower 10/10 , zucchini’s 9/10 & chicken bbq pizza 9/10. Overall we had a great time catching up and the service was great. Thanks again and see you next time!
Came to this location when it used to be AJ Barile's. Was not disappointed! Location still looks the same with needed upgrades. A full bar and full service section. The food was fresh and delicious. Buttery Parmesan bread sticks were complimentary. Absolutely delicious! Family ordered buffalo wings, 12" carnivore pizza, a personal vegetarian pizza and a create your own olives, sausage pizza. Highly recommend for you to stop by for a tasty bite to eat! 😋
This place is great! From the time we walked in to the time we left it was a really pleasant experience. The wait staff were professional, fun, and kind. The floors, tables, and seats were clean. The food was absolutely delicious, and we got free breadsticks because we dined in. I got a NY style calzone and my husband got a BBQ chicken with red onions and black olives personal pizza. It was a great place for a date with my hubby. We'll be back!
Love the taste of this pizza but man that young staff that makes the pizzas doesn't understand the difference between regular bake times and well done baking times for pizza. Anytime I ask for a well done pizza hoping for a crispy crunch on the crust and the bottom even on a thin crust these teens back there whipping up the pizzas always fail never crispy to my liking.
First visit. Food was fresh prepared hot and tasty. Prices reasonable with large portions. Vegetarian options. Full bar. Orders can be done by waiter or self order. Plenty of eat areas on patio with or without shade area. Large table area if you have a group....Lots of TVs. Large parking lot and wheelchair accessible. I will return and I recommend.
Before I begin, I really wish Google allowed half-star increments because I would give Tuscanos 3.5 stars. That being said, let's get to the point: The New York calzone is flippin good! It comes dusted with parmesan cheese and has a properly toasted crust. The creamy ricotta and mozzarella play together nicely, and the calzone is generously filled with high quality toppings. Though I have not had it yet, the lady friend loves the lasagna so I'll take her word that it's really good. She also enjoys the antipasto with Tuscanos unique Italian with bleu cheese dressing. That pizza, though. I seriously want to like it but it is not very good. It's very similar to other local pizza places in that its flavor profile is very basic and non-descript, not to mention that's floppy as hell and undercooked. Not sure if its the dough or the oven they use, but it lacks the flavor and textural qualities that characterize a good pizza like one might find in Chicago or on the east coast. When we had it delivered, I seriously asked myself if it was delivery or DiGiorno. I still haven't answered that question yet. They should have bought old man AJ's pizza recipe! Anyway, come here for some good Italian-style eats and a good selection of reasonably priced beer and such but skip the pizza!
I like the food and the atmosphere. However if you're sitting in the indoor patio BEWARE of gas leaks. The odor is very strong enough to give you a headache. We brought it to the owners attention, and he said it was the wind. 😒 my advice sit inside.
The eggplant parmesan had more noodles than eggplant and not much sauce. I've never had eggplant parmesan with noodles. Not the best at all. The antipasto salad was amazing. The pizza my friend had did look amazing. I will try Tuscanos Pizza one more time and just order salad, pizza and a drink from the bar. This was my first time eating at Tuscanos Pizza.
I used to genuinely enjoy coming here with my family, the pizza and breadsticks were consistently delicious. Unfortunately, my recent experiences have been disappointing. One staff member in particular has been noticeably rude on several visits, which I initially brushed off as an off day. However, what truly ended our visits was receiving undercooked, doughy pizza on two separate occasions. Serving food that’s not properly cooked is not only unappetizing but also a serious health risk. I can’t justify returning, especially with my family’s well-being at stake. I hope the management addresses these quality control and customer service issues soon.
Pizzas okay, not anything great. SERVICE, what service. Sitting on patio 6 of us, kids. Water ? A small cup. Can I get a pitcher? They say We don't do that. Between us, about 25 trips back to the water. No napkins on tables, more trips to counter. Don't forget the pizza toppings like peppers, partisan. Thus, service missing, so it is a self serve. I can pay for a large cup x 6, for watter! Forget it. Not cheep pizza. Overall, a 1☆ place. Go elsewhere.
I've been here a few times and food was great. Came in today for lunch with my wife. Not busy at all, we stood there looking at the menu and beer selection for a good 10 minutes. We were in plain sight to the workers socializing in the back. Didn't want to wait any longer. Glad I took my business down to street to Las Tortas. Service here is great and the beer is cold!
Well, pizza is really good, but service completely sucks! I have been ordering a medium supreme and buffalo wings every week for the 3-4 years. Only had a couple of problems but this one takes the cake. I ordered the same weekly order at 4:45pm today. They charged my credit card, and I was told an hour and 15 minutes. I called back at 6:30pm and was told my delivery was on its way. After 7:00pm, I called back and the person who answered the phone, said, the “ticket” didn’t get printed for the order, so basically the first person was lying. At that point I just asked her to cancel the order, and she said it could take up to 5-7 business days for a credit card. So what happened, I made my mentally disabled son scrambled eggs for dinner. My husband and I blew off dinner, and delivery driver lost our customarily $20 tip! We will never order another pizza from your restaurant ever!
If you plan to have a party here, don't, or make sure you go in-person and talk to the manager/owner. I called 3 times and emailed them, and the employees gave me misinformation, and almost ruined my birthday party by being hostile and blaming me for not knowing information when I CALLED! I had a birthday party here a couple years ago where my friend's band performed outside on the patio. It was an easy process with planning and setting up the band. I was hoping to do it again and have a birthday party here with music, so I called 2 weeks prior to the date and they said yes and put me on a party reservation list. I asked them a few times if I was able to have music outside, like plug in an amp and play guitar, and mentioned I've had a party there before, they said yes. 3 days before the party date, I called again to confirm my party reservation was still active. They said yes, that the owner would email me confirmation 24 hours before the date. I went and applied for a party RSVP on their site as an extra measure. Then comes the day of the party. I hadn't received any emails or calls back, so I called them again, on my way to the party, and they said they had no record of me calling, that they don't do reservations at all and parties are on a "first come, first serve" basis. Now I got a little worried, so I asked if there's room on the patio for a party of 10 people, and they said yes, so I drove over. I found a place on the patio, and while I was setting up my guitar and amp to an outlet plug, an employee rushed outside and ordered me to stop, saying they don't allow amplified machines or music because they don't have the license/permit required. I told them I called 3 times and even emailed them and was told music was fine, and she said "I don't know who you spoke to, but you can't play music here, and we've never taken reservations." This almost ruined my birthday party because the whole reason I chose this place was so I could play music with my friends on the patio, and I was blamed for their employees not confirming with a manager/owner about the proper party information. It's not my fault as a customer that I don't know your policies, that's why I called and emailed. I chose to put the instruments away and continue the party, because I already invited 10 people there and wanted to salvage what was left. I ordered party platters, the food was good. The employees were hostile towards us a couple times and we were given a warning they'd call the owner and have us leave. We were able to finish the party, though that whole day left a sour taste in my mouth and I won't be back. If you plan a party here, don't, or make sure you go in-person and talk to a manager/owner, because otherwise you won't get the right information and will be treated like you're doing something wrong when you didn't even know!
