I have to say that many times I come through after coming to Dallas to pick up my MMedicine and have never been disappointed. FAT chicken and great service. It's very much appreciated 👍

We went through the drive thru. We didn't have to wait to long. The food was fresh and hot.

There is no parking lot so if you're trying to run in and out it's a horrible place for that but the food is amazing the fried catfish was so good the seasoning was just right

Tonight I had the fish dinner. It was so so so good. I ordered a side chicken wing and had double fries. That was the best tasting fish I have had since I moved to Dallas. I haven't tasted a better car fish fillet here yet. I love Williams chicken. I recommend it to everyone I know. It doesn't get any better than Williams Chicken. Who would have thought a chicken place would serve the best fish in the city also. Two snaps in a circle. Clawd ham mucy.

Always an adventure at this location downtown! Food was great today! Had a little bit of wait, but it was worth it.

Stopped at this place a few years ago visiting from Canada and thoroughly enjoyed the food. The lady taking my order was really kind. If I’m not mistaken, they donate some of their profits to charity. From a Northern boy, I appreciate the Southern hospitality.

I LOVE THIS LOCATION!!!! They offer more for your bucks and great service to boot. The food is hot and to be expected filling. The iced tea is cold and refreshing. The fish is cooked upon order. Look just go order some food, sit down there and simply enjoy every savory bite. Happy eating!! 😋😋😋😋😋

Ate so fast forgot to take a picture. Food is cooked to order and seasoned very well. Ordered the catfish dinner and it was fried to perfection. Staff was very nice.

I don’t think I would have ever thought to give this particular location a good review but they knocked it out the park with my order. I ordered from Door Dash and idk if the driver had any trouble with rude customer service or homeless people begging him, but my food arrived hot and fresh. I understand people’s dismay with the location, but really if you order anything downtown Dallas you will run into the panhandler problem. They did a good job with the food.

I live right by Rudy's... and id rather catch the train to west end station to get 2 thighs and some fries! They're food is always hot and fresh straight from grease. My mom works at a restaurant. This is best chicken place in Dallas hands down.

Was greeted by a friendly cashier and had my food in under 2 min.

I've never received a cold piece of chicken nor has it been overly salted, it's always fresh, HOT and tasty!!

Every time I catch the bus I stop and get me a two piece with a pepper but the police came by it was a fight they ran everyone off

Fast cheap, slightly sketchy hood type chicken joint. I can't eat here often for fear of my body morphing into a delicious or not so delicious looking chicken. I'm mean 2.50 for 2pieces and a roll. Gotta be some hormones or something going on. Also the folks coming in...But in a pinch its darn good!

Great Chicken. Simple, delicious, cheap and delicious. I got the three piece, mixed, with spicy rice, which was amazing, and onion rings and a strawberry soda and it was pretty much perfection. 2 soft, dense rolls rounded it out. If they had hot sauce on the tables it would have been 5 stars. If you love fried chicken and you're downtown Dallas, go here.

The waitress did a great job, and it seemed like a very popular place. It is near the tram, so there were a lot of homeless coming in and out, and some damage was done to the property. The chicken livers were the size of Texas.

I'm RATING the food. Delicious. I get the chicken gizzards and their jalapeños. As for attitude, ugh! They really need to work on it. But I guess you can't blame them since they have to deal with customers who are rude too.

A friend and I searched online for good chicken restaurant and came up with a few but we pick Williams chicken we ordered a 8 piece white with 2 small fries we asked if we could get a total of get a total of 4 wings and 4 breast we waited for 30 min for our food several people behind us in the drive through got there food before us we finally got our food 30 min later our food was cold we had all breast we were so disappointed we told the man this is not what we ordered and why was our food cold as long as we had waited it should be hot we decided to never go there again

Great chicken. Glad it’s close to the DART line so you can hop off and grab a hot meal then hop back on and be on your way. Wish the place was bigger for more seating during the lunch rush and the area was less populated by annoying mu***as

The chicken wasn't to bad but my problem is that the store itself isn't to clean and there are multiple people who aren't even homeless begging for money sometimes even inside the store there was also a man pretending to be disabled he came inside on a wheelchair but then stood up and was walking fine because he was yelling at the cashier cause he was getting angry they need a no loitering policy or security because there are alot of people around there like this

Staff was rude and didn't allow me to sit inside to eat at 855pm. Said they were getting ready to close so I had to go, but they don't close until 10pm.

The chicken isn't half bad but once you go after a few times you realize that everything is ordered in in this place and nothing is made there except for the chicken which is pretty lame in corporate design. The owner has been selling off locations to people that are just trying to make money and the standards are out the door which the original owner had he's better to hold on to all the locations himself.

I came in on a Saturday at 2pm which is non peak hours. The place was a mess. The floors were dirty, every table was dirty, even the side mirrors were dirty. It wasn't packed and there were only 4 or 5 customers in the resturaunt. This place has no drive thru, and they had at leaat 4 people on staff. I imagine one to cook one to cashier, one to plate the food, which means there was an extra on shift. (I use to manage a chicken joint) No one came out to clean anything until the place was nearly empty and she only came out to wipe down tables. So they clearly dont care about their building. The customer service wasnt poor. But it wasnt great. A homeless person came in and B-lined it straight for me and before he could ask for money, a loud "GET OUT!" was heard from the kitchen. Like every other food place in downtown the homeless panhandle relentlessly, but I dont appreciate them being treated like trash. Anyway, there wasnt a single friendly crew member here. You can tell they dont enjoy their jobs here. The food is debatable. I ordered the 5 pc tenders. Came out to nearly 11 bucks. However their tenders are huge. But Im still not confident the food justifies the price. The tenders were marinated but the breading just fell apart. The fries were average, and Ive bought rolls from wal-mart that are better. They also charge for refills. If you want chicken and are in downtown Dallas, this place will do it for you but I reccommend ordering to go. But if you can travel I reccommend Golden Chick either on Kiest or 75 and Meadow. The food is better and your pockets wont take that big of a hit as they have a 6 tender meal for 8 bucks, or a 9 tender meal for 10 (howeever, this meal is intended for 2 people)

I normally don’t get the best customer service but yesterday was the worst. Whoever the pregnant Caucasian lady is that’s a cashier was BEYOND rude. My wife called to place an order over the phone and the cashier responded bluntly “NO”’. She asked what she meant and the cashier stated that you all don’t accept orders over the phone anymore. That’s fine but for someone to call and simply say hi I’m calling to place an order and that’s your response? Then when I get there I placed the order and I came back to ask about how long it would be. The cashier ignored me 4 times when I called to her. The fry cook and flagged her down to tell her o was called to her and her response was “I know. I see her. She can wait.” If my wife didn’t like y’all’s overly salted hot wings, I would never set foot in there! And the cashier needs to go or learn to control her attitude.

The price doesn't warrant the atmosphere. There's nothing that warrants the service and atmosphere here. Anything can happen at any time. Food is a bit greasy. Lots of homeless here.

Given an incorrect cold, old oil smelling order. It is what it is, when you eat here.

Just bought food from here. A 3 piece white meat with 2 rolls fries a drink and a jalapeno to be exact. Along with a drink. I asked for ice water.. I turned around to walk out the door; as soon as I turned around the food fell. Right at the register. He didn't give me more food or anything.. waste if money. Gave it to a hungry homeless and told him it was on the floor . Smh

First off I went there on my lunch break and the manager was being really rude talking badly about customers and cursing. 2nd I ordered spicy rice as my side and she told me the spicy rice would be done in 15 minutes after 30 minutes of waiting I requested a refund . She hesitated to give it to me and finally after 3 minutes she said really loudly your $1.92 will be refunded in 72 hours then laughed . I told her it wasn't about the $2 it was about the fact that she lied and she continued to get loud and go back and forth with me . Very unprofessional .

If you want fresh food, I'd suggest telling them when you order. If not, you will receive food that has been sitting and NOT FRESH! I do NOT APPRECIATE spending my money just to get some Luke WARM CHICKEN!

This was a horrible experience. I'll never go to this location again. I have never had chicken with no flavor what so ever. This was worst food I've ever had. The service was horrible. The people behind the counter are so rude! The place should be torn down. Everything about the place is ghetto. So much police presence outside, but I still felt like I could be shot, robbed, or violated. I was only there because a homeless man asked me to buy him lunch, but never again will I go to that location. I couldn't get out of there fast enough.

The worker is at the register watching movies on her tablet while taking your order. THEN, both me and my mothers drinks had black particles floating in them, meaning they don’t clean the soda machines. I only know of this because I worked fast food for 4 years.

I paid 15 bucks for old cold chicken strips..I asked cashier were they fresh after overhearing an older Mexican lady tell her to give me the old strips. Once I got my food instead of checking I took the cashier word about it being fresh.. nothing was fresh called back they won’t answer smh

Walked in to get something to take to work for lunch. No one spoke and after I'd look over the menu AGSIN, I went to the 2nd window/register. The Mexican man looked at me, we made eye contact and kept talking like I wasn't even there. I ended up walking back out with no food🤷‍♀️I haven't had Williams since the early 90s so I thought I'd give em another try - luckily horrible customer service prevented me from getting fatty, unwashed chicken and a horrible review with pics

If i could give half a point jus for the strawberry soda I would. I do know that this chain has several locations but this one should be shut down. I understand there's quite a few vagrants around but in no way did we look homeless, helpless or like we were begging for anything. We were placing our order but she wouldn't allow me to use the bathroom until the payment cleared. Once she opened it was completely disgusting! There was fecal matter all over the wall and toilet. It was worse than a condemned bathroom. To have a food establishment with facilities like that....the health dept needs to really step in! She said its like that because of the homeless people, but u keep it locked and didn't wanna allow a paying customer to use it so im confused. So Noone cleans at all? What about your PAYING CUSTOMERS?!?! I haven't even gotten on the food yet. We waited for 30 minutes for food that had absolutely no seasoning at all and chicken that had batter fried so thick I couldn't eat it. $60.00 down the drain and her customer service was horrible also. Please close this location because its really making Williams Chicken look bad. I hope the right people in charge read this review and step in. As someone who came from Houston on buisness I hate this location!!!
