OK so we.were hesitate to visit but this place was absolutely fun. Friday is karaoke night and the crowd is mixed. They treated us great even tho we're were out of towers. Lol. This place was the icing on our trip.

Great dive bar. If you want to relax and don't want to feel out of place this is the place to go. Chris, the main bartender, is great and very personable with everyone. Everyone is sweet and attentive as well. Best place to go get some drinks and enjoy some time with no judgement.

Never even been to whatever town this is in. Rolled through to meet some friends. Felt like my regular haunts, aka, immediately felt at home. Semi rough and tumble crowd, but everyone was there for a good time and made us feel welcomed.

Fun dive bar! Bartender and KJ were great! Wish Karaoke went on longer but I think they shut it down early bc it was Thanksgiving. Friendly crowd. 👍

This is the local watering hole. A place that fills up with people wanting drinks and conversations. The known bartenders are always friendly and even the guys in their motorbike vests pop in discussing life and tribulations. Sit and the bar and listen to those around you talk about the real life of Central coast california while nursing your 805's a flowery light beer marketed as a tough mans drink and a miracle of rebranding using the local area code. Soon you'll have a decision to make, to switch to whiskey or Ellysiums space dust to ensure your conversations, and memories go from a blurry night to a clear and crisp dawn.

Bartender was friendly and bar seemed lively with pool tournament and music going on. Perfect little dive bar!

Karaoke is awesome. The host (Jawz) does a good job mixing sound with a good rotation. All the staff are seasoned and friendly. Security is solid and focused. Great place to connect with a diverse crowd of people. I recommend Bill's Place for Friday nights. Wish they had Karaoke more than just Friday's. What do you say Bill?!

This is a full liquor, no food (but they have a taco stand out back with odd hours), single pool table (with a magic pocket), karaoke rocking, dollars tacked to the ceiling, tchotchkes dripping off the walls, St Patrick’s Day blow-out having, small bathroom, big back yard BAR. Any given weekend night, you will find stiff drinks, cowboys, bikers, regular folks and a few bachelorette or wedding parties all jamming out together like they are at a high school reunion they didn’t expect to enjoy as much as they did. If your local, you know… if your from out of town, yes.. this is the bar you want to end up at. See you there.

Total townie bar, probably hasnt changed in 30 years, but the drinks are far cheaper than to two fancier bars down the street, the bar tenders are friendly an knowledgeable. Probably would not hang out here every night but a fun place to go when im home to see my folks over Thanksgiving

We like stopping in to this local bar. Offer California Lottery, Keno, and coldest beer around. Today ordered a sandwich from Village Grill across the road and sat at the bar just chilling. Bartenders are cool and use to all kinds. Always a must stop when in town!

I'm not from pismo Beach but everyone was super chill and friendly here. I would definitely came back for drinks and service I'm a bartender myself so the bartender was doing a great job even though it was just one bartender. Amazing service 👏 🙌

It's was ok. Haven't been there in some years. Used to go all the time always had a lot of fun. Felt it was very stuffy and people seemed upset like we didn't belong. Bummed

It is a dive bar. You get what you get. Have fun with your friends, dance, play pool, and watch your drinks.

The people were nice but the bartenders ignored us unless the bar was almost empty. The karaoke host kept skipping me and letting the locals sing. Don't go here if you're not local, the staff ignored us the whole night. I would give 0 stars for this dive bar but the patrons were fun to hang with.

You had a tall bar tender on 8/5 super rude he wasn’t wearing a name tag but his energy and everything about him is off putting honestly ruined my night Chris came in an made it better he grabbed my hand an was extremely rude I would keep him in back of the bar instead of anywhere else so sad (not Chris some scruffy tall dude that walks around being mean)at about 9pm he was checking IDS in the back

I was the DD when we went to this bar so I can't comment on the drinks. I made the horrible mistake of using the restroom. I'm confident that the men's room had not been cleaned for several days possibly. I couldn't breathe without gaging. I usually wash my hands after but the sink looked like someone threw up in it over a week ago. While sitting the bar are you could smell the restroom evertime someone opened the door. Bring some Vicks with you if you are going to visit this place. Put some under your nose before you walk in and you should be fine.

Was there 2 times last week, the bar tender Criss was amazing, made me feel welcome, TALKED to me. Tonight went back. The "other" bar tender ( don't know his name because he didn't say a word to me ) was drinking with all the locals. Not tending to the bar at all. When he finally poured my second beer, it was 3/4 full. He dumped out the foam. Told me he would top me off, didn't happen. Don't go here on Mondays. But the rest of week when Criss is tending it is great...

They mix up the list purposely to give preferential treatment to drunks and so-called "locals" ( I actually AM a local!!) so the negative reviews were spot on!! They need to give others an opportunity instead of giving preferential treatment to their buddies. I had visited this place some time ago and had a much different experience. Kudos to the security( " bouncer") who was kind enough to share his stool with me. He gets 5 stars. The karaoke guy gets ZERO!!!!( mainly for bold face lying to me about when I'd be up. His loss!! Going back to SM where it's safe!!

I cover my drink with a coaster while I walk away to go sing and when I returned, my drink was gone. Why don’t they like me here? What horrible thing did I do? It’s not like it was totally crowded and someone took it. Why would they. One of those full of themselves bartenders did it. This happened to me once before, like four years ago. Then the bartender apologized and made me a new drink. This time, they were both rude and could care less. Bill’s Place in Arroyo Grande should check themselves before they wreck themselves.
