We were a party of nine, three of us children, and we were tired an hungry after a 20 hours of travel. We walked in without a reservation and were treated like family. The food was excellent, the service kind and generous, and we would love to go back again as soon as possible. Thank you for taking SUCH good care of us!

New owners are fabulous. Great high quality food. We used the event hall, which was perfect for our large celebration. They made everything happen smoothly, and were a dream to work with. Facility is beautiful, very well maintained, staff extremely friendly, knowledgeable and responsive to every need. The perfect venue for weddings, graduations, reunions or any large gatherings. Beautiful scenic location right on headwaters of the Delaware. Motel rooms available for overnight guests.

We came with a big group for dinner and had an amazing time! The wings were unbelievable, and the salmon was perfect. Jasmine took the best care of us! We’ll definitely be coming back!

Bayou Babe

Had a date night at this charming restaurant. We live in the Washington DC area and was pleasantly surprise. The food was AMAZING and tasted so good. Upon arrival we were greeted promptly and seated. Fine dining at its best. The waitress explained that some entrees may take a little longer than others to prepare because all the food are made to order when each order is placed. Sonia, not sure if she was the manager pays attention to every detail and is super welcoming. What a gem! Will definitely be back whenever I am in Barryville. Kudos to the entire team.

Nice little place after a Hawks nest ride. Asian influenced food done well. Got the Greek salad with chicken, probably one of the best salads I've had. Awesome atmosphere inside. Looking at everyone else's orders coming out everything looked delicious.

We stopped in for lunch. We walked in and there was only one couple outside. The bartender was to busy on his phone. I had to ask do we sit wherever. First tried to order fish n chips he comes back nope don't have it. Then we tried to order sangria nope don't have it. I ordered a mule nothing to write home about. Also ordered a purple drink but had it switched out from gin to vodka really good. The Burratta had no flavor what so ever. But they redeemed themselves with their chicken sandwich and the steak sandwich. All in all it's okay not a total waste and not something I'm going to come running back to.

River’s Edge is a fantastic restaurant, recently renovated with a wonderful team that's doing an excellent job. The food is incredibly delicious, and the prices are surprisingly affordable. While the drink experience might vary depending on the bartender, overall, I highly recommend this place for a delightful dining experience. After an year review 2025 I came here about a year ago and absolutely loved it — the food was incredible back then. Just came back recently and noticed the menu has changed, and I suspect the chef may have too. The food is still good overall, but it doesn’t quite hit the same high note as before. The pizza is still amazing — definitely the highlight of the meal. I’d come back just for that. The salad was just okay this time, and the wings unfortunately came out in the wrong flavor (honest mistake, but still worth noting). All in all, still a solid spot, but I do miss the old menu and flavors. Hopefully things continue to improve!

Was there before and the service was great! (In the restaurant) Yesterday , the service wasn't so great!Had to secure my own table setting, salt and pepper...double cheeseburgers are good BUT , I wasn't asked, HOW WOULD YOU LIKED THEM COOKED and I forgot. They came really well cooked! Had to ask for pickles twice... In brief, waitress didn't seem to interact well with customers. Didn't stay at the hotel. Live in the area.

The food is so good and they’re one of the few places that are open (most) of the time. But when there are 3 people in the restaurant it shouldn’t take 20 minutes to get a cocktail. Or a menu. Or a glass of water. It’s so frustrating because I love the vibe and want the place to be successful but every time I go I have this same experience

Stopped in here to eat lunch with my wife.. After we were seated, we left after 20 minutes. We hadn’t been approached by anyone for anything. The couple next to us looked bewildered too, as no one had approached them. We just got up and left. It appeared the staff was more interested in having conversations with the locals..can’t speak to the food…
