Amazing food! Amazing service! Very convenient location! The music here is pleasant! Nana is amazing!!! She is such a kind person and does such a great job! This world needs more employees like that!!
I’ve been here in Tampa since October and this has been one of my GO-TO’s since then! The food has been great i usually get the Philly cheesesteak omelette but today I had the Mexican omelette and it was great!! I’ve also had the Alfredo and the wings all of which have never let me down! If you’re in the Tampa area and are looking for a great place that’s open all night please check them out! You won’t be disappointed!!!! And a special shout out to Daysha!!! She was our host and she had great customer service and was also very helpful in helping us choose the menu options!!
Alright folks before I get into I’m a Puerto Rican from NYC so let’s just say I know flavor and good customer service when I receive it. First off this place is open while every establishment is closed, even coffee “brew” spots lol. I was there by 6:30am and the cook was in the midst of cheffing it up while the CSR (customer service representative) was organizing and cleaning. I refuse to call her a cashier because she is obviously more than that. Next is their customer service, the CSR Nana ( I asked for her name so I can give her a shoutout!) was so pleasant and friendly. She was non stop, being attentive to other patrons , what the cook was bringing over the counter and processing our food orders. At 6:30am I am the least friendliest but Nana is obviously cut from a different cloth. The cook in the back as well, was friendly and made his job look easy. Don’t even look frantic like most cooks do in the back. All in all they seem to be a good team and have exceptional customer service. Now for the food, I ordered a bacon egg and cheese on a biscuit with mayo. Hold off judgement, not every ny’er eats a bacon egg n cheese with salt pepper ketchup lol. Anyway it came with home fries and the price was some where around $7 and change. In today’s economy that’s a great price. The home fries were so well seasoned, full of flavor and tender. Now the BEC on a biscuit WEPA!!!! That hit, or as some of the kids would say it slapped! It was huge and plentiful. Respect to the chef for making a common bf sandwich something to brag about and write this review. I had every intentions on taking a pic of tb food but after one bite it was a wrap it was going down! Thank you Nana and the awesome cook!
Food tasted amazing, the bowl was spectacular! And the service immaculate, whenever Nana is working the service is 6 stars!!!
This restaurant is the friendliest place I have been to in downtown Tampa! I have been here twice and the customer service is amazing. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is fun! I’ve come in for their brunch, and provide American breakfast, as well as breakfast with a Lebanese twist! Their avocado toast is something I would highly recommend trying, and I was convinced to try it with the chicken. The breakfast is visually stunning and it doesn’t take long for them to get it ready. The portions are large and well priced, and I have always needed a to-go box whenever I’m there. Definitely come by to check it out!
Love this downtown place with marked dietary options for all meals and snacks. Falafel is always my favorite! Hummus is great too. Holiday specials include gingerbread man french toast, red velvet pancakes! I also eyed a moist carrot cake. Great service today. Wheel chair access parking on street pay by app or garage pay by app with van access. Venue is all accessible.

It’s located at the SW corner of Tampa St and Polk, at the base of a tall building, with its outside entrance facing Tampa St. The restaurant has since changed its name and the menu. We don’t know if it’s the same owner or chef. I think they still offer the huge Lebanese breakfast. When we were here a few years ago, we had the delicious chicken shawarma, Shakshuka (2 eggs over a rich tomato-y sauce), Falafel Bites, a huge stuffed crepe, and strong Lebanese coffee. The Mezza platter at the next table was big enough for two, and looked great. It was fun to try some different flavors!
Nana is the bomb.. she was so helpful and welcoming even though we didn’t get there until midnight! Full of recommendations and provided excellent service! Go see her!
One of the only places in the area with great food that stays open late. Friendly staff and pretty great food. Definitely worth checking out.

Very clean place. Delicious, healthy food. Nice portions! Reasonable prices. Lovely, friendly, helpful staff. Indoor & outdoor seating. Close to the Henry & the Ave condo properties. Great for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Wish we found them sooner.
Visiting from Michigan and we wanted some Arabic style breakfast, this place did not disappoint! Clean and cozy, portions were very generous especially for the price and location. We tried the cheese and zaatar pies, and also the Turkish breakfast which had more than enough to give you a diverse plate and full tummy! Owner was the one who also served us, very humble and kind, and he cleaned the tables after to, shows he's dedication, I'm sure he also had a hand in the cooking, which again was delicious and fresh. A must visit!
Clean place . Very new ran by new owner’s from NYC. I never been to NYC so this is perfect for the experience. I’ll definitely be back . Nachos was $15 and as you see you get plenty for your bucks. IG- empress the Femaleking follow me for more Tampa bay food reviews
I recently visited Uptown Joe’s, and it was a fantastic dining experience. I had the fried fish and grits, and it was absolutely delicious—perfectly crispy and flavorful. My husband went with the salmon, mashed potatoes, and mixed veggies, and he couldn’t stop raving about it! The salmon was cooked just right, and the mashed potatoes were creamy and comforting. Our server, Daisha, made the experience even better. She was attentive, friendly, and made us feel right at home. Her service was top-notch, and she really added to the great atmosphere of the restaurant. Highly recommend Uptown Joe’s if you’re looking for tasty food and great service!
I had Joe’’s famous bowl! I had grilled shrimp and grilled chicken together and it was absolutely delicious! I ordered extra veggies, and the bowl was filled to the brim very generous portions. Everything was cooked and grilled perfectly, and the yum sauce brought it all together. The atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable. Whoever the cook was deserves a raise! And our waitress was so pleasant and kind 😊 I believe she said her name was Daysha. She made the experience even better. I’ll definitely be back! Highly recommend for sure 🤩 Great spot for lunch or dinner!
Had an awesome breakfast here! The mimosas were really good — we ended up ordering a few rounds. My wife loved her latte, said it was smooth and great quality coffee. The breakfast was amazing too — the omelets were huge, super tasty, and definitely fill you up. Our server Yari was great, super friendly and attentive, which made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend this spot for a solid breakfast and good vibes!
I found this restaurant on sunday and it was amazing. The food was so good and so abundant. I am taking the rest of my food for lunch today. The restaurant is clean and classy. I definitely want to come back.

had the pleasure of being helped by Yarithza, and she truly made a difference. She’s very kind, professional, and attentive to every detail. From the moment I arrived, she made me feel comfortable and welcome. You can tell she really enjoys what she does — she works with dedication, always with a smile and a great attitude. I definitely recommend asking for Yarithza if you want excellent service and a pleasant experience. Thank you for your kindness and for providing such wonderful customer care!
Stopped here after a show at the Straz. We were staying at the Residence Inn two blocks away so it was within walking distance. Food was terrific and we were the only customers in the place, so the server was on top of the game the whole time. Very laid back atmosphere and great menu selection.
We had a large group of 14 and there was only 1 waitress working, but she was super nice and worked fast and efficient. Did was good.
Nov 19th, 2025. Service was not good but food and atmosphere were fine. Had the quesadilla which was very tasty.
I came for a take away lunch and ordered the classic burger with fries. The meal was alright. I have seen the breakfast here and it looked like it would be better. The burger was cooked well but was very thin. I can’t imagine this was even a 1/4 pounder. I would return and try the breakfast but I would not order the burger and fries again. The employees were nice and friendly, the restaurant looks clean and well kept.
Food was 5 stars, cleanliness was 5 stars-even the high chair was immaculate! Everything was good and everyone was happy and felt satiated. Only issue was that the meals all came out pretty slowly and one by one; some of our party waited quite a bit for their food. The food was good though and probably the best french fries we've ever had. Also, service was friendly, but would be nice if they think ahead a bit more in terms of offering condiments (ketchup if you're ordering fries, dressing if you're getting a salad, etc) they didn't offer and then it just takes time from the eating experience to ask and then wait. Overall very friendly and very good food. Would definitely go back!

I will be completely honest about this place - I was headed to the airport after arriving on the Amtrak, I had already walked around a mile and was in a full suit and tie. I came in here expecting to have a half decent meal since I was short on time and I got less than expected. The server was AMAZING and super friendly to me, but the food was not good whatsoever. The Mozzarella sticks were warm, but there was absolutely no cheese pull. The chicken was good but still didn't taste the best, and the onion rings were not crispy at all and covered in oil. I think the pricing is fair for the amount of food I got and the service is amazing. I will be back next month to fly out of TPA again and I will most definitely give you guys a chance to redeem yourselves!

Went here last year after an afternnon performance at the Straz and had a very good meal. This year, meh. While my husband and granddaughter's choices were very good, my corned beef and pastrami on rye left much to be desired and did not live up to NYC deli standards. For starters there was not two meats in it and it was dried out to the point of being more like jerky. There was barely any cheese and it wasn't Swiss. No sauerkraut and the bread was left on the sandwich press a little too long.
The bacon and ham were tasty. I did not like being served cold syrup that felt like it’s kept refrigerated.

Don't even bother. Online menu and pics are misleading. Food was not good at all. First we order a salad and a turkey.BLT. 20 plus minutes later they tell us they don't have lettuce. Okay, cancel the salad and bring the sandwich. 20 plus minutes more, oh, we don't have turkey so we made a turkey bacon BLT. Not what I wanted. My daughter ordered some pasta and chicken dish, DRY.as can be, no sauce or cream and it was to be an Alfredo. My Granddaughter ordered the stuffed salmon (with crab). Not sure what it was stuffed with but it was mystery fish. Server with mash potatoes that looked like paste. Bottom line, don't bother.

Tried to get halal chicken shawarma, salad and rice. Spent over 30 min. First came out a quesadilla….ok…fried barely warm, shrimp the over battered and cold. Rice was mushy. The woman at the front tried her best and was very kind. I just think the kitchen is failing and the overall food was horrible. I would skip. Chicken shawarma is a breast on a plate. Paid about $50….not exactly sure what for. No tabouleh. No kabab.
We stopped in after seeing a show at the Straz. This establishment is not what it appears. Everything looked clean and well decorated and the front of house staff was friendly and courteous. Unfortunately, tables were served out of order, only half our table received drinks. A family near us was waiting over 50 minutes for food and decided to leave as they saw food being brought out to people who arrived after they did. The back of house did not do their jobs and truly let down the wait staff... Chicken tenders were freezer burned, mozzarella sticks were cold and undercooked on the inside but overcooked on the outside, nachos were cold and slathered in gas station level nacho cheese sauce. The chips were over-fried. It was all inedible and we didn't trust the food wouldn't make us sick. Needless to say, we didn't eat there.
