The pasta was so good! 🍝 It’s a true hidden gem — located inside a liquor store, so don’t let that fool you. The food tastes homemade and full of flavor. Definitely one of those unexpected spots that ends up being your favorite!
A fantastic Italian restaurant in an unexpected place. This restaurant is located inside a corner liquor store. Place your order at the counter to go or the staff will bring your food to the quaint dining room tables. Or, call ahead with your order and pick it up for convenience. The staff is very friendly, the food is prepared quickly, and served hot. I can't overstate how delicious the food is. The standard pizzas, sandwiches, and entrees are available. All of the choices are very good. There is adequate parking available in the small lot or on the street to accommodate the small dining room. The dining room can get very crowded and is available on a first come first served.
An amazing surprise inside of the liquor store. Please do not miss out on this amazingly delicious Italian food. Amazing pastas, pizzas and salads. We ordered beet salad and arugula salad, margarita pizza, vodka rigatoni and a custom order of red sauce pasta. It was all so delicious, the pastas were so creamy. The cashier Gigi was so welcoming as well. They can get busy during the weekends, so please be patient with them, it takes time to prepare delicious food.
What a hidden gem. Was looking for Italian near Solvang and came across this spot that’s hidden inside a liquor store. They don’t take reservations and service can be a little slow because there’s one waiter/cashier/host but all is forgiven because she was super friendly and it’s such a unique concept. You pay at the counter and can buy a bottle of wine for a corkage fee. Food wise, felt like everything was delicious and homey. The risotto was probably my favorite entree. Cream and heavy umami notes with the mushrooms. Subbed chicken for shrimp which I think would be even better. Carbonara might’ve been my least fave. Still good but lacked a bit of richness and creaminess that I expect and also came with peas which threw me off. The tortellini with braised short ribs was fantastic. Their red sauce is excellent. Pizza was ok, I think the middle of ours didn’t hold up to the toppings but I might try another one if I’m in the mood. The surprise was the cheesy garlic bread. Probably some of the best I’ve ever had. Divine. Must order. Would love to gatekeep this one but it’s too good to keep it a secret.
Love this place! One of Buellton’s most valuable hidden gems! All menu items are great and Gigi always serves us with a friendly wink and a smile. All 5 stars from me!
What a great idea to have this little gem nestled inside of a market! I am so glad I tried this place, I had the eggplant Parmesan and it was so so delicious. Being a picky Italian, this was almost as good as Nonna’s! I have been thinking about the sauce ever since. The eggplant was cooked perfectly! Soft, nice crust on the edges!
BREAKING NEWS! So this is a very unlikely venue, but man is the food and service great! Our first time here. We had chicken piccata (very lemony), spicy shrimp rigatoni (actually penne aka vodka sauce with intense garlic) and pepperoni pizza (thin crust with perfect slight char). All were delicious! AND, since it is in a liquor store you pick among local SB wines and pay retail to enjoy with your meal! It does not get any better than this!!! NB, you cannot bring your own wine, and that makes sense! Just go!
If you ever find yourself in Buellton, do not skip over Giorgio's at Parkway. It may be tucked inside a little convenience market, but do not let that fool you. The restaurant section is spotless and clearly well maintained. While the market’s restrooms leave something to be desired, the snack aisle is impressively stocked, which adds a fun little perk to your visit. Calling in to place an order was quick and genuinely pleasant. Now, yes, the meals come with a higher price tag, but the flavor and craftsmanship completely justify it. I ordered the Short Rib Tortellini and I swear it is the kind of meal that stays on your mind for years. All in all, this is one of those rare spots that absolutely deserves a visit.
DANGER. READ BEFORE EATING HERE. Got you, Sorry Just click baited you. Just try the food. Damn good dude. Had the chick parm. You ever see your boy on death row. You know what his last meal is. That’s all. Bye
We ordered the pepperoni pizza and spaghetti with meatballs to go, since they didn't have high chairs for our little one. The food was delicious and the pasta was a big serving! We were a little bummed we couldn't order the chicken parm sub during dinner. They only serve this during lunch, looks like we'll have to go back before 3pm.
Quite a delightful surprise- We were at first apprehensive about dining inside a grocery store. Had visions of being the clean up on aisle 3. 😉 But next to the deli is a comfortable little dining room with TV and photos on three walls, and a view of the deli and pizza oven on the other side. Husband and I both ordered the chicken parmesan. It was the best we’ve ever had. Ample portion lightly breaded and topped with fresh grated cheese and parsley, served on rigatoni in a delicate and flavorful tomato based sauce, at a sensible price.
When you pull up, you'll think you're in the parking lot of a liquor store. And you are. There's a counter inside where you can order, but look back to the right and there's a cute, intimate little Italian place tucked behind a wall. We LOVE it here and the food is amazing. The soup, pizza, fettuccine, all of it. Beyond delicious. Go early!!
Zucchini blossoms and short rib tortellinis are a big secret here...😋

Always a 10 out of 10. Exceptional food the staff is lovely. I’ve never had a meal. I don’t love!! Highly recommend.
Such a little hole in the wall restaurant. You would never know there is an Italian restaurant in the back hidden! Almost like a speak easy sorta! This food is AMAZING!
Startlingly good Italian food inside of this humble building, after seeing the location, we were leery of trying it and are extremely glad we did. It’s not just good for Buelton, it’s very good full stop. We had a beautiful arugula salad, excellent lasagna, and a perfectly done pizza. Props to these guys as they are clearly putting in a serious effort.
Gigi, was an awesome hostess. We enjoyed the tasty food so much. We returned the following day. The Greek salad was generous and flavorful. The chicken parm was delicious and so was the pasta. Perfect amount of spice. We also had the meatballs... so good! Don't forget the garlic bread! We are planning to return again soon. Thank you Gigi for making it a memorable experience. Hope your 🎂 spa day was as wonderful as you.
My wife and I got tje Short Rib stufees pasta, Chicken Alfredo, and garlic bread. The food was amazing!!! Hot and fresh! We will visits again when we go out to Slovang.
The sitting area is small, behind the store, but food is incredible, chef’s like Italian. We had a zucchini flower appetizer, so good, great pizza and chicken piccata . It was truly way better than just your regular Italian place.
Amazing food. We had a lovely spaghetti carbonara and spinach and ricotta tortellini. Delicious with a generous side of mozarella garlic bread. Didn't have the roomnfor the tiramasu, so we took it to go. Excellent. Great service, prompt and polite.

Start at the counter to order, a paper menu was handed to us with many items scratched out. No sandwiches after 3 p.m.? The best part of the meal was the outer crust of the pizza. The Caesar salad we had was wilted, looked a little past its prime. The pizza, although of high quality ingredients, great sausage, was undercooked in the middle, the crust there was floppy and tasted a bit like undercooked dough. The dining area is impressive, dark, serve yourself plates and utensils, and nobody ever checked to see if everything was okay, or if we needed anything. We won't be back. Sorry.
Basic. No depth to sauces. $50 corkage fee at a restaurant in a liquor store where we would have bought all the wine from is ridiculous. The bread/pizza was decently good but that's it. Disappointing.
My family and I stopped at your restaurant on our way home to Lompoc because the menu and website photos looked great. We ordered the chicken picatta and sole picatta to-go, tipped despite not dining in, and drove 20 miles home. When we opened the boxes, both orders were incorrect. According to the board menu, the sole picatta comes with arugula, beets, pistachios, and potatoes (no capers), and the chicken picatta comes with capers, spinach, and potatoes. Instead, both dishes came with pasta and none of the listed sides. More concerning, the sole had capers--even though we specifically asked when ordering because my partner is allergic and were told it does not include them. Meanwhile, the chicken picatta, which should have had capers, had none. Portions were also quite small for the $22 price point. We tried calling the restaurant eight times with no answer. After contacting the liquor store it's located inside, we were told to call back in five minutes. When we did, the call wouldn't even go through. Since we couldn't reach anyone, we drove the 20 miles back to Buellton to request a refund. When I showed the chef the incorrect dishes, he insisted the picatta dishes come with pasta and produced a small, crumpled paper menu from under the counter showing that version. We were never given this menu and ordered solely from the board displayed above. There was no apology and no offer to remake the meals, only a refund when I requested it. The employee who originally helped us acknowledged they "haven't gotten around" to updating the board menu. Other reviews mention similar issues with discrepancies between the board and the paper menu, which suggests this is an ongoing problem. Thankfully, we received a refund and our tip back, but we drove a total of 60 miles and ended up without dinner, eventually eating at Blaze Pizza at 9:45pm after ordering from you at 6:15pm. Despite this disappointing experience, we would be willing to give your restaurant another try if complimentary meal vouchers could be offered. We understand that busy periods can lead to mistakes, but the lack of accountability and apology was the most frustrating part. Acknowledging errors and making things right builds trust. Photos of what was advertised versus what we received are attached. We hope for a better experience in the future; otherwise, we unfortunately will not return.
Drove 30 minutes on a Saturday to try it based on their rave reviews and were informed my the owner they were closed for a huge catering event. We won't be back. Headed to Ginos up the street.
