A fun little restaurant with a lot of interesting flavors that will make you want to try them all. Out of the 4 flavors I tried, the Chile con Carne was easily my favorite. It was spicy and delicious! The spinach and cheese and Santa Fe were very solid. The only disappointment was the sausage and biscuits, which I’m not sure was correct as it tasted like it had olives? Regardless, it wasn’t bad, but i won’t be ordering that one again. The pastry itself held up pretty well after being delivered. I also love the little logo on the pastry. I ordered 4 empanadas and that was just the right amount for me, as they quite small. I recommend going here if you like trying a variety of flavors and love a good pastry.

Great baked empanadas. Crust is thin and cracker like crisp. Only thing was I wasn’t the biggest fan of the beef and chicken [pot pie] fillings compared to ones for typical empanadas. But the spinach cheese and the biscuits gravy are great.

Reservation experience: we placed an order online and it was ready for take out in about 20 minutes. Food: What an amazing amazing place! Loved it. We ordered both vegan and non vegan empanadas. The dips were amazing. The mushroom and cashew cheese empanada and the spinach cheese empanadas were stuff of dreams. I was a bit underwhelmed by the quinoa lentil empanada. Value for money: 100%

Let’s start from the beginning. My wife and I have passed by this place many times and I truly regret not stopping by sooner. I loved my biscuits and gravy empanada as well as the Chili con Carne empanada. My wife had the beef and chicken. Everything had such great flavors. Last, but certainly not least, the Dulce de Leche and the Nutella and banana. Tried a few different empanades today. I enjoyed all of them, but the spinach and 3 cheese was a complete standout to me. I also tried the banana and Nutella one, eaters beware, I got the Nutella all down my shirt! Next time I'll just put a bunch of napkins down my front before eating it.

They used to have seating indoor and out the back but now it's limited to a few tables out front. In fact everything is outfront now, including ordering & pick up. They do a lot of pick-ups for industry workers so the wait can get very long. It just feels a lot more impersonal than it used to. The food, however, has remained consistent. Their empanadas, soups, and teas are great. My personal favorite is Chili Con Carne with verde salsa and a hibiscus iced tea.

Good, but could use a bit more flavor and the dough could be flakier. Tried the ham and cheese, spinach and 3 cheese (my fav) and the mixed berry. Love how they stamp the flavor initials on the edge!

Great, quick place for lunch! Friendly service, delicious empanadas and soup. Very reasonably priced combo. Would've given 5 stars if they had more seating and a restroom! (Only room for 12 inside, 4 outside) Would be perfect place to grab food for a picnic or party.

Came here for the first time and it was okay. The employees were super nice and I received my order within the time they gave (about 6-8mins for 3 empanadas and soup). Parking on the street was limited when I arrived around 4pm but I found a spot not too far away. For the food: I ordered the beef, Santa Fe chicken, and biscuits and gravy empanadas. I also got the tortilla soup. I ended up paying over $20 with tip. The beef empanada was only half filled. The Santa Fe chicken empanada was pretty good. The biscuits and gravy empanada had way too much pepper and wasn't that good - I couldn't finish it. The dough was undercooked for all of them. The beef had raw gummy dough. The tortilla soup was a good vegan option but not sure I'll order it again. Overall, the empanadas could have been cooked longer but the pastry had good flavor. I'm not sure they were worth $5/ea but everything is expensive these days.

World Empanadas in Burbank was a mixed experience for me. It took longer than expected to get just two empanadas, which was a bit frustrating. The outdoor seating area isn’t very enjoyable, it’s hot, with no shade, and feels like you’re sitting right next to the road with tons of cars constantly passing by. As for the food, the empanadas were okay, but honestly, I feel like they’re more hype than substance. That said, the staff were very friendly and welcoming, which I appreciated. Overall, not bad, but not sure I’d go out of my way to return.
