I've been wanting to come here for awhile during my stop on the Metrolink, and I'm so glad that I stopped by! Ambiance is so cute and cozy and the service is impeccable! The girl who helped me was so sweet and patient while we were ordering (it was our first time here) and really made us feel welcome!! If you're traveling via metro link or passing through, this is definitely a gem to visit! Great place too for studying and getting work done, there's an upstairs area and plenty of outside seating. Coffee is great and the donuts (from Honey Donuts!) are super fluffy, great pairing with my latte!
Ono Chai was absolutely the best I've ever tasted. It was velvety smooth! While and after drinking I had a warm sense of calm mind, body, and soul. Whenever I visit or pass through Santa Clarita this will always be a stop. I didn't get the Chai "dirty." Perfection as it was. Get it.
Great coffee. They make all their flavor syrups in house. Check out the upstairs seating area.
They are right about Honu Coffee. This coffee house is a local destination for having their favorite cold/hot beverages and assortment of pastries. A pet friendly environment. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about their products/beverages. Honu Coffee is a great place to relax and enjoy your special beverages and pastries.
Super cute atmosphere! The staff recommended the Nutty Hawaiian latte and it was absolutely delicious with balanced flavors. Will definitely be coming back to try the other unique flavors. There’s also plenty of parking which is always a plus.
Love the matcha, it’s my go-to. Also love the cake pops, they change with the seasons and holidays. Everyone who works here is sweet too!
I LOVE this coffee shop! It's got a great vibe and lots of places to sit to chat or study. I got the Nutty Hawaiin with macadamian milk and it was SO good! I don't even live in the area but have stopped here a couple times during my work commute. Sometimes it's quick and sometimes the line can be long, but either way it's worth it! The staff are super nice too. Check it out!
Love love the chai - both iced and hot with macadamia nut milk! I so appreciate they also offer vegan gluten free pastries. Staff is always friendly. Great place!
The coffee is SO good! I ordered the surfin honu and it was delicious. We tried to work from the shop on the 2nd floor but most of the outlets weren't working. Luckily had a full battery but would have stayed longer and maybe for more. There is indoor and outdoor seating and plenty of parking. Definitely check it out if you're a coffee fan.
The best coffee house i have been in so far. Am not a coffee drinker so i drink lots of tea. I have white vanilla tea and it was so favorfull. I enjoyed my tea upstairs on the sofas escaping the labor day heat. The atmosphere there is wonderful and the staff are friendly.

Honu is my family's favorite coffee spot! The drinks are always great, the atmosphere is relaxed, and the staff is wonderful. Spencer especially makes every visit a great experience — he’s very friendly, and always goes out of his way to make us feel welcome. Honestly, he makes Honu worth coming back to all on his own. Go check this place out!
Coffee is awesome here. The empanadas too. My favorite thing about this place is they offer multiple types of milk. Coconut, Macadamia, Almond and Oat milk. Perfect place to stop and grab a coffee. Plenty of parking too. We will definitely be back.
I got one of their blended seasonal drinks and it was a good combinations in flavors but was a tad bit too sweet. The other drink that we got was more balanced. The interior of the place is quite cozy and it has its own style plus the second floor that overlooks the shop is really nice if you want to go there for a study session or get some work done.
Best dirty chai I’ve ever had! And I’m a long time barista so I’m quite picky. Been going here since high school and they have stayed consistent throughout the years. I always look forward to coming here
Really incredibly charming Cafe with a gorgeous and serene upstairs seating area. Nearly always people studying or doing some kind of work in the peace of that environment.
Cute cafe with a little indoor seating and ample outdoor shaded seating. The girlies who work here are always so friendly. The coffee is good and the espresso is smooth. They also have macadamia nut milk, yum!

My laptop and I visit a lot of cafes. As an author, I’m always looking for good places not only to eat and drink but to sit and write for hours. As a teacher, I believe in scoring according to specific criteria. With that in mind, these are my opinions about this one. Food: ***** I didn’t order food, but my sister got the sausage and cheese empanada. She said it’s excellent, but be aware that they usually sell out (of all their empanadas) by about 9:00 a.m. Drinks: **** My sister and I both ordered decaf Surfin’ Honu, which is a frap involving coconut, peanut butter, chocolate, and coffee. I didn’t really taste the peanut butter, but it was still pretty tasty. Very thick. Our other sister got the Tsunami, which is a white mocha coconut latte. She ordered hers with macadamia milk and said it was quite tasty Prices: **** Similar to Starbucks. I didn’t like that no prices are listed on the menu on the wall. Variety of Menu Options Available: **** They have a variety of pastries: muffins, scones, croissants, empanadas, cookies, etc. There are also several specialty coffee drinks with a wide variety of flavored syrups. Variety of Non-Coffee Drink Options: *** Not much in that area. However, at least all their coffee options are available in decaf. Wi-Fi/Charging Ports Available? Yes, both (and outlets) Pleasant Environment/Comfortable to Write In: **** It’s a pretty nice little cafe with a Hawaiian theme (in the drinks, decor, etc.). The music is a bit loud if you’re trying to concentrate on work, and a few songs have been quite obnoxious. There’s a very small downstairs seating area, with additional seating upstairs, including a variety of chair/table styles. Customer Service: **** One of my sisters asked for no whipped cream on her Surfin’ Honu, but it came with whipped cream. I didn’t want any either, but I forgot to mention that. However, mine (which I requested they put in my own insulated cup) came with no whipped cream, which I was glad of. The cashier was pleasant. What was the Restroom Like? Clean, pleasant, and spacious. Additional Comments: They have several board games available for people to play in the cafe.
Was passing thru town. Saw the good reviews so came here to get some coffee. The store has a comfy look to it. Baristas are friendly and even suggested some variants of the coffee. I got the cappuccino with macadamia nut milk. The taste was good. Ended up getting a bag of coffee beans. They gave me a fresh batch. I also saw empanadas on the menu and gave it a try. They were tasty as well. Overall I was very happy with the food and service.

This place was great, it’s been my favorite for years. I used to live in SCV but moved to the valley recently and still will come here to get my favorite coffee once in a while, which is the iced tsunami. With that being said, it’s disappointing how expensive their drinks have been getting. The iced tsunami with oat milk used to be $6-7 a couple years ago, I understand with inflation things are getting more expensive and for the past year it’s been $8. Today I paid $8.43, they raised their prices again. It’s ridiculous to almost pay $9 for a small iced coffee. I bought their syrup today after realizing how expensive the drink itself is and will try to make it at home. Bummer because I love this place and the workers are so sweet. :(
We've tried Honu a handful of times since we moved to the SCV a few years ago. We're not anti-the big chain coffee places, but happy to support a local spot if the product is good. Re the good, the donuts are fantastic. They definiitely live up to the claim of at least among the best donut over. Nothing crazy like you might find at Voodoo, just super good donuts on a variety of basic flavors. They put to shame any other nearby chain donut. The coffee, however, has been hit or miss for us. The first time we ordered the Nutty Hawaiian it was great, strong coffee presence with the Hawaiian flavors creating a unique, bold and tasty coffee experience. The second time we ordered it, the coffee felt absent and it tasted like warmed milk and sugar. Bummer! Especially after loving it so much the first time. Okay, maybe they had an off day...we waited a while, came back several months later to cap off a Farmer's Market experience and ordered it again. Donut -- on point, but same disappointing Nutty Hawaiian. My wife even specified to make sure the coffee presence was strong in the drink, which was responded to with sort of a non-committal "okay." Same result...warmed milk and sugar, no coffee flavor, and not really any discernable elements of the Nutty Hawaiian flavors of one of their "signature drinks". So now I'm thinking that's the norm and not the amazing one we first had. A coffee-forward coffee shop should have excellent coffee. Unfortunately, that hasn't been our experience. We'd definitely come back for more donuts, though.
