They have a wide range to suit all tastes for breakfast whether it is burrito, eggs, meat, oatmeal or yoghurt. Homemade cakes too . Good coffee .
Wonderful bakery with super good food choices and lovely welcoming staff. My only other comment is that they are always out of my favs by 11 am sometimes much earlier. So if you want the best choice be there when it opens.
Cute place! And YUMMY FOOD! their quiches are world class and super filling. The bagels were so soft in the middle and perfectly crispy on the outside. And the pastries are diverse and delicious! I'm glad something like this came to the village. Plus the ladies that run it are so sweet! Definitely stop by, things go fast but they refresh with fresh out of the oven quickly!
Had a scone and cinnamon roll. Both delicious! And got an egg/ham/cheese sandwich to go. So large I only ate half for my lunch. Would probably skip the ham next time. The new owner is so much more friendly and the place is clean.
I was working on a job in Carmel valley and the client brought me a cookie fresh from the bakery and it was in the top five cookies I have ever had!! Peanut butter chocolate chip, wow I wish I had one right now, needless to say I’ve been to the bakery a couple times on my own in the last couple weeks and I’m always happy w my purchases.
Stopped here while traveling through, mostly so the kids could use the restroom. So glad we did! Owner was super friendly and great conversation. Coffee cake was the best cake we've had in years, we had to order seconds. Coffee was alright, chai was pretty good too. But we just had the best time here. On the way out, one of the local regulars gave me a sketch he'd done of my two kids (who were running around the whole time, not minded by anyone there thankfully). It's a great sketch, and something we'll treasure. Of course, that part's not on the menu, but I'd still go again in a heartbeat.
Sort of hidden gem with delicious coffee & really creative baked goods that rotate daily. Super fresh & great variety of GF/Vegan if you’re so inclined. The atmosphere is great and parking is easy peasy
This is one of my all time favorite cafes. Dogs are allowed inside! The staff (perhaps owner) is so friendly and immediately gives any four legged friends a treat. But the baked goods are the pinnacle. The quiche is a tour de force. Perfectly flaky pastry with such luscious, creamy filling. All fresh and locally made, this is a gem. If only I lived closer.
Friendly staff, great food and coffee, with a wonderful atmosphere. We were in town for a long weekend and went here every morning that we could. Their fresh baked pastries are delicious and service is top notch. Wonderful spot for a quick bite or to sit and stay a while! Definitely recommend!
My friend from the UK and I happened upon this lovely spot one morning. We both had delicious coffees with frothy steamed milk for beverages. Kate ordered porridge AKA oatmeal which arrived with a small carafe of heated milk and fruit on the side❤️ I had a scone that really is one of, if not the best I have ever had! Apricot/Ginger scone was amazing. They had other ones I would have tried but I was too full The scones are pretty big. Very friendly staff too. Definitely worth a trip into the valley.
I was working in and around Carmel Valley for a week and once I found this gem of a cafe it became my go-to for lunch in the Valley. They have delicious coffee, yummy baked goods, and delicious sandwiches and breakfast burritos. I think I had a breakfast burrito for lunch there every single day I was there. The cafe is rustic and homey--an authentic 'old' Bug Sur/Carmel establishment where you'll see ranchers, artists, and everyone in between. Love this place.
Loved my time at this snug little cafe nestled in Carmel Valley. Espresso? Check. Bistro cuisine? Check. Actually turned out to be a surprise haven for gluten-free food (if you're into that type of thing)! Amazing sandwiches and bakery items sans-evil-gluten. 5/5, would recommend to even my enemies.
A lush little bakery, both staff and patrons alike were charming. A great place to try and witness the eclipse from!! Thanks for lending us your glasses Alex!
The food was delicious of course it was because it was made from scratch that morning. The owners are very friendly and love to have a conversation with you. The coffee is great too. Nice atmosphere and comfortable.
Coffee is amazing and cinnamon rolls are the best ones I’ve ever had! I highly recommend this place, it was lovely and I will def come back!
The best blueberry scones I've ever had! I would post a picture, but it didn't make it that far! :) The owner was very sweet and the staff treated me with kindness and respect! Coming back REAL soon!
Beautiful little coffee shop with amazing fresh baked pastries.
We love the Wild Goose Café for being one of those truly original local joins. From the daily baked brioche to their hodgepodge decore, we always feel like we're being invited into the diverse experiences of the owners' lives. The Goose epitomizes the nitty gritty character that defines Carmel Valley Village. Thank you for being who you are. Small, local and a little crazy!
Stopped here every morning while we were on vacation. Coffee is delicious and the pastries, particularly the cinnamon rolls, are AMAZING! I would fly back across the country for the cinnamon rolls and scones!
Great coffee (truly), local pastries, good selection sandwiches and breakfast fare at reasonable prices. And there's an organic juice bar. To round things out, a very mellow dog.
Wonderful neighborhood bakery with home-made goodies and small town hospitality. The BLT sandwich on a brioche bun was delicious. Finished with a chocolate chip walnut cookie. No cookie should be allowed to taste this good! Chewy with a generous amount of chocolate. I will be returning to this place. They also have outside seating and dog treats for my best friend.
Absolutely beautiful place with delicious home made food and real coffee . Friendly staff, family atmosphere ❤️
My husband and I went to Carmel Valley for our weekend getaway. We took a walk with our dog in the morning and found this place by accident. It turned out that we were very impressed with this little coffee and bakery place. Their strawberry shortcake was the best strawberry shortcake I’ve had. Every part of the cake was perfect. The cake, the whipped cream and the strawberries were so good and not too sweet. The banana bread pudding was very yummy. The vibe was very nice and casual. We could bring our dog inside. They also have some tables and chairs outside, too. If you are in Carmel Valley, you should visit the place.
Loved the grab and go breakfast we got here: bagel with lox and a frittata. Local community coffee house with artisan goods and paintings for sale. Good family vibes with eclectic decor. We also bought a unique jam! Cinnamon roll looked amazing. Friendly staff and quick service with no line around 8am on Saturday.
Really enjoyed the local laid back vibe of this joint. We had a couple of almond Milk cappuccino and they were nice. I also had a fresh pressed juice that exceeded expectations. The staff was super friendly. The pastries looked amazing and worthy of a return trip.
Analuisa catered the breakfasts at the wedding party’s VRBO this last weekend. A five star review is too low. The food and service were amazing. Don’t forget to enjoy the cinnamon buns, the bacon and the homemade jams. Yum!
LOVE this cute little place in middle of Carmel Valley! Staff is wonderfully warm welcoming and helpful — especially with my food issues. Delicious tomato artichoke frittata!! Great mellow music. Open wifi. Filled with locals and regulars. Love it.
This charming coffee shop offers a wide variety of freshly baked goods for breakfast, such as egg sandwiches, bagels and French flûtes with tomato and mozzarella. The coffee and chai tea are excellent. Homemade jams are available to buy. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. It's a meeting point for the local community. If I lived here permanently, I would come here for breakfast every day.
Staff was extremely nice and welcoming. Ordered the lox bagel was absolutely delicious. The tomatoes tasted like they were from my dad‘s garden. You don’t get tomatoes like that in the best restaurants in LA.
Delicious homemade baked goods and coffee! Come early when everything is fresh!
Charming little coffee house , stumbled across travelling north up the G16. Great coffee, great cakes and lovely people. Some gorgeous art as well.
Amazing and delicious spot! The mini-baguette, cheese, salami, pickle sandwich is divine and the best thing I’ve had in a while. They have lovely pastries, gluten free items and other items as well! Will 100% be back!
What a wonderful coffee spot! And the baked goods are all amazing. We, over a couple days, had bagels, scones, and the Blueberry brioche (taken to and enjoyed at Pfeiffer Beach). If you're traveling here and your body is on east coast time, the 7AM opening is great, but maybe be patient because the food isn't all out right at 7. Definitely worth grabbing the coffee and waiting to see what to pick from.

The baker is on fire! Great treats coming out of the kitchen. The quiche/frittata is always solid. My latest favorite are the oatmeal cookies - they are perfect: Big, soft yet crunchy and carmelized just a little. Nice people.
I wish I lived closer than Colorado, but this was a fantastic find. Great frittata and the chai was awesome. The small sandwiches were perfect for the start of the drive back home. Would definitely recommend to anyone that wants a good bakery, coffee and a break from the corporate coffee!
Wonderful country Cafe with fresh juice bar and delicious baked goods. The drip coffee was great, as was my cappuccino. Comfortable and beautiful seating inside and out. Highly recommend.
Best BLT I've ever had. Would have taken a photo but ate it all immediately
It is a Clint essential community coffee shop! Extraordinary! Owner operator.

Wonderful bakery goods made daily in small batches served in delicious and sizable portions made this my only breakfast spot. Get there early for the blueberry brioche. It sells out fast!
Service is slow, but the food is tasty and the tea and coffee are really high quality. They do a lot of special drink orders, too. Moreover, the prices are fair for the quality of the pastries. The people are very nice, and there is plenty of seating. Moreover, there is plenty of seating. There's a sizable parking lot, and the cafe opens early.
I was out riding my motorcycle on a cold Sunday morning and stopped into this little bakery for hot chocolate to warm me up. While ordering, I noticed a homemade coffee cake and ordered a slice. OMG, that was the best coffee cake I've ever had, dare I say even better than my grandma's, who's recipe all else paled and I gave up the search. Now that I've found Wild Goose, I'll be back for more. And their hot chocolate was pretty darn good too, served up in a nice large ceramic mug.
New name and Under new owners, they have cleaned up the interior and have upgraded the chairs and tables. They make all pastries fresh in the morning great coffee, tea, and latte options. Used to be called wild goose.
The blueberry scone and coffee cake was delicious. They have some specialty made cold brews too, but I didn't try them. Nice folks
Charming cozy spot! Not a ton of gluten free options but this walnut bread was amazing + loved the Spanish omelette. One of the best lattes I’ve ever had.
Wonderful local coffee and breakfast. Loved the coffee and bagel. Thanks for tasty coffee. Will visite again and again if I come back here.
Very good latte, ok chocolate cookie 🍪 and cinnamon roll.

Very good latte, ok chocolate cookie 🍪 and cinnamon roll.
Coffee wasn’t terrible but had the flavor of cacao and left my mouth dry. The place looked a bit dirty too. I wasn’t expecting that in that area. Also, I asked for a morning bun and got a muffin that had nuts and carrots (?) again, wasn’t bad but not what I’d asked for.
I ordered the breakfast special and my bacon was burned, my eggs were bland and looked like they were cooked on a dirty grill, and the service was terrible. The coffee was good and pricing was reasonable, but I would not recommend it.
