The kid that works there is new. I seen him in training not to long ago. He is a really good person. Very patient with a guy who was obviously a tiny bit crazy. This kid greats everyone right away. He is very friendly. And does a good job!! And it's almost time to close on a Sunday and he is still very nice.
I must say I had an amazing experience at this particular location Mr. Ken one of the employees at the Down Town Subway was an individual I will not be forgetting. That day I was with my girlfriend (ex) who for some reason was just not in a happy mood and was acting rather embarrassing but Ken kept hos cool about him and acted professionally... He behaved in such a manner I must say it was commendable.... Although there is another Subway a litte closer to me I have decided to make this Subway my go to eating spot!

One of the best Titan Turkey sandwich! They were slammed and were VERY patient with the group in front of us. The had no idea what they wanted and took over 15 minutes for their order. The girls rocked it and my husband and I both said it was the Subway sandwich we've had. Thank you for a great experience!
Could not have asked for better sandwiches and customer experience. Especially considering the young man was on his own with a line building Promote him or give him a well deserved raise! My wife and I thoroughly enjoy #20 and #15. 2/27/24 715 pm
I made a mobile order through the app. When I arrived they had the order made on time. The employees were very friendly. The sandwich was honestly one of the best subway sandwiches I have ever had. Keep in mind you must be a paying customer and ask for a key to use the restroom. There was a homeless man outside. Surprisingly it wasnt him but a women inside subway that asked me for money. Nothing to do with subway but I thought I would mention it.
I've never had an issue at this location to this day. Although when I usually go, its around noon every Sunday and not during weekday "lunch rush hour". That being said, my visits have always been easy and straightforward. Communication with employees is simple, food is cooked well, areas are clean and payment is quick. Its close to Akard staion. I'll continue to visit.

Great location staff is super friendly. I was exhausted and was asking for my drink like super quickly and was probably kinda pushy cuz I was thirty the lady was super nice and got it for me. They made fresh cookies that were amazing

I ordered take out 30mins before I was expected to arrive and got there and it was not ready. NOT because the employee on duty was lazy or slow but because he was overworked with a LONG line of customers. He was the ONLY one working at this location during the dinner rush. PLEASE hire more employees to work during this time and give this man a raise.
I came in with a friend on Sunday evening, there was only one employee but he was very nice and helped us with our questions and any substitutions we had. Really slow here, takes about 20min for a sandwich, hardly fresh. probably the most off putting thing is the state of the restrooms, someone needs to seriously change the toilet seat, it literally had hairy mold growing in the pits of the seat.
Went in and there was a gentleman who greeted us and began making our food then a lady came back in from break I guess but she was criticizing everything the gentleman did and didn’t help except check us out. As we were eating a party of 8 came in and the “supervisor” lady left him high and dry to make all the food for these 8 people which I was appalled to witness. The gentleman kept his cool though and we ended up tipping him for being so wonderful. This lady needs a reminder of customer service and hard work. I’m only rating it three stars because of this lady, the gentleman deserves a 5 star rating!
The staff quit while I sat there eating my lunch. Big conference weekend and only on person working. Supplies were low but the staff let me stay and finish my sandwich which was kind considering what was happening. Poor planning by management for not planning ahead when you have 3 major events occurring. The lone staff member was doing his best but his calls for help went unanswered
This Subway location was simar to the rest of the other Subways out there. It's a pretty good location that will be visible for the heavy traffic in that area. The more was not much of a crowd at the time and the staff was efficient and friendly enough. The steak and cheese that I ordered was decent for a healthy option but could not compete with the traditional steak and cheese sub, but then again, I didn't expect it to.

Super slow.only one employee.was giving out food to customers to taste which held up the line for 35 mins because they couldn't make up their minds on what to order. Then kept helping them while there was a line Many homeless asking for money in food right in store..not safe
I had ordered here the Hispanic short lady took my order. We got to the register she said they didn't have anymore bags. So I was like ok so I proceeded to hold my sandwich, chips and drink. I was preparing to walk out the door. I so happened to turn around. I had seen her give the Hispanic customer a bag. I proceeded to go up there and told her I thought you said it wasn't any bags. She then proceeded to say sorry and give me a bag. Although I know she isn't sorryshe just didn't think I was gonna go up there and ask. The workers need to be retrained and it's 2023 please let the racism go. All customers should be treated equally.
I just called to order a 6 ft sub and the lady was beyond rude. Asked me if I am playing games. Am I serious. Then told me she don't do that. I have to go online and I asked how, she told me to figure it out. I don't think I have ever experienced something so ridiculous in my life. Asked for manager, said she is the only one on shift and to figure it out. Do not give people like this your business.... I would much rather go and extra distance for good service. I can not believe I was just spoken to the way she did me.
I typically like Subway, but there is an employee who's incredibly rude. I am making this review solely because of the attitude he gave. He mumbles and when I asked him to repeat himself, he gave me such an attitude with sarcasm. He passive-aggressively slams things and just makes the experience very displeasuring. I've worked in the food industry, so I am usually extremely empathetic and understanding. I usually go out of my way to be nice to people who work in food industry, but this man was unnecessarily rude, and he should NOT be working there.
As I was ordering my food I was I encountered very hostile customer service from my meal prepped named Emma as I was voicing my opinion of the service she went and got Jessica and they started taking in Spanish and in an English speaking citizen I asked if they would speak in the common language that we all spoke at this time I was refused service and had to find another place to eat being disabled or took alot of effort to walk from the train to get my lunch then be turned away
This place smells bad, like a public school cafeteria that hasn't been cleaned in months. The smell alone will put you off your food. My last visit with them, the guy behind the counter offered unsolicited advice about my appearance.
I walked in to this Subway and the lady behind the counter was very rude. We said what you want instead of how can I help you? No hi nothing of a sort. Got the sandwich toasted and then she in A very angry manner said you need to back up off my tables. I wasn't even touching the tables I said we argued with me and then I told her I didn't want the sandwich any more. She then said ”good there's more for me!” I asked what her name was and she laughed "Sheila!" I thanked her and walked out. If this is how you treat customer's I'd look for new employees!
The worker was beyond rude. Sheila was her first name and her name tag said manager? I went in to order 4 subs. I told her my subs and she screamed at me "HOW MANY SUBS ARE YOU GETTING?!" Idk Shelia, the four I just told you? Not to mention when I walked in her and another worker were on their phones and rolled their eyes at me and continued to play on their phones even though I was the only customer in there. Then ignored me to start making bread. It took so long for them to even acknowledge me even though I was the only customer there. Go to literally anywhere else. There's so many options.
Dirty tables dirty floors, and the two ladies behind the counter are the rudest customer service employees. One lady suggest I do the BEAST sandwhich and when I told her I don’t eat ham could she sub that ham just for more turkey she said it’d be extra. She always has an attitude and is charging the customers the wrong prices. Fire her
I walked-in 8:15pm. Well before closing time. The cashier said his register was out of service and he had an issue processing all day. The sign said "open", I understand in any case... thanks.
Lady that works here has a very nasty attitude. And they have a policy that no one can use their restroom on Sundays. I could understand if this policy was for the public...but for paying customers!!! After I've eaten the food that I paid for and dined in your restaurant?! What type of madness is this? Does you policy cover me pissing in my pants because I have to wait until I drive all the way home from downtown Dallas now? 😕
I waited 15 minutes for the only RUDE employee to make 2 sandwiches only to be told that in order to get 4 sandwiches I needed to call ahead. Needless to say I left before getting my food. Stay away from this subway worst one I've ever been to. Jimmy John's customer service was so much better and right around the corner.
We walked in to order something to eat after a long walk around 9pm. The employee was on the counter listening to his music with his headphones on while blasting rap music in the restaurant then once we got there, he said he only had tortillas and no bread. So, we decided to leave instead. I don't recommend this Subway. Go to the near by McDonalds instead. Its a lot better.
I went there to have breakfast and had the misfortune of being served by Mary. What an attitude she had! Even though I was the only customer there during my whole visit she was obviously in a hurry to finish my order, barking at me to give my sandwich choices and giving zero service to go with it. If your customer , the staff will treat you poorly nor no respect plus too many people in back playing with their phones plus their supervisor Spanish lady gives zeroooo respect an she takes loads of stuff watching 👀 her talking items as she said she takes food home 🏡. My visit, which I had anticipated with pleasure, quickly deteriorated into an incredibly uncomfortable and embarrassing situation. Initially, I was nearly deterred from entering due to the exterior lights being off. Upon ordering, my attempt to specify Asiago bread, which I now realize may have been mispronounced, was met with immediate hostility from an employee. Instead of clarifying my request, she aggressively dismissed my choice, and despite my pointing out the bread I intended to order, she attempted to remove it, suggesting I go elsewhere for Asiago bread. This abrupt and dismissive attitude escalated when she spoke with her manager in Spanish, seemingly to avoid resolving the misunderstanding. When I attempted to calmly explain the situation, I was shushed—a deeply disrespectful act towards a 52-year-old customer. The manager, upon identifying herself, compounded the issue by asserting her right to refuse service and implying I should show her more respect, after she had already treated me with such disrespect. This felt like a deliberate attempt to escalate a simple misunderstanding into a confrontation. The entire interaction left me feeling humiliated, unheard, and ultimately hungry. I have always enjoyed Subway, and I’ve never felt compelled to file a complaint before. However, the aggressive and dismissive behavior I experienced warrants this communication. I am requesting that you investigate this incident and take appropriate action to ensure that other customers do not suffer a similar experience. Proper customer service training that emphasizes empathy, conflict resolution, and respectful communication is crucial. I believe this incident highlights a serious lack of these vital skills amongst your staff. I hope to hear back from you regarding how you intend to address this situation. The action to “ refuse service “ IS NOT TO BE TAKING LIGHTLY AND SHOULD NOT BE USED LOOSELY!!!

There's a line of people behind me as I type this. I will never come back to this location. They need more training to move quicker. This is ridiculous
The two men working here don’t even know their own menu, they took 15 minutes to make three sandwiches for one person. They took my sandwich called the outlaw out of the oven before it was finished and put another sandwich in with mine. Mine didn’t get toasted correctly and they end up burning the bread to a crisp. The food was terrible and made by people who it’s very clear doesn’t care about the way they present themselves and the way they put no care into the way they make the sandwich’s ! It took 20 minutes of my 30 minute lunch to get this horrible sandwich. That was a complete waste of my 10 bucks and couldn’t the bread !
I should have gone to McDonald's where they deliver in a timely manor ALWAYS. I order through the app and the app says it's ready for pickup. NOPE! There's only one person here. I have eaten a yogurt and half a container of togo cup oatmeal because I spilt the other half. I ran around at work so much today I forgot to eat. I find a good online only deal and great🤗🙄 I have a $20 dollar gift card. I pick up my food, shower, feed the cat, unload and load the washer, and set the trash out. Wash my hands, open the food and this is what yall gave me? Paid extra for extra meat on two of the sandwiches on only got it on one and yall used less meat than your supposed to on the other. Like fr! Look at the cross section! 🤣😩Did I mention this is supposed to be dinner and lunch for the next two days? 😐😒 And what I look like putting on pants and more wasting resources to come back??! I hope you and the guy in the back that was smacking on a sandwich as he handed me mine, probably made from the meat he didn’t put on mine, have the new year yall deserve 😒. Update: was eating my pizza sub at work, and realized that I asked for banana peppers and didn’t get those on that sub. So yall did find a way to mess up all 3 sandwiches. Also didn’t get them on the chicken sub or my pickles on the others. 🤦🏾♀️🙄
This store is the absolute worst. If I could give 0 stars, I would. I genuinely can’t fathom how they could hire anyone that can’t read. My partner and I ordered on doordash and not only did they give us cold food but the food we got had no cheese, none of the sauces we requested, was on the wrong bread and had the completely wrong vegetables, therefore the whole meal was wrong, how does that happen unless you just can’t read?

I was the 2nd person in line on a SLOW afternoon , they helped one person and when I stood up to order they made ZERO eye contact with me and started working on online orders (probably because they’re friends were waiting in line which looked like for some free food). I said “really?” To which they said nothing. By the way, I live less than two blocks away. This is my first time here and I will never be coming back. So I went 100 feet away to JIMMY JOHNS WHERE YA’LL should go too. Better food better service. who’s ever working Sundays by the way at Subway should be fired
This place is HORRIBLE, I started going there because the one at St. Paul Station moved, and they always gave good service. But this one here. 2 times!! 2 times I order online only to go in and have to wait for my order. They weren't even busy. 2nd time, the lady said I must've ordered at the wrong place, but then she found my name in a pile of online orders she had sitting next to the register. Little short red head lady with glasses. And then, I went in person and ordered the protein wrap, why did she put a pinch of lettuce, 2 little tomatoes and 2 banana peppers on it? I even asked if she could add onions, or charge me for onions and she said no. Subway isn't a 5 start restaurant, but that service is TRASH.
I came to this Subway one hour before the posted closing time. The lights were on and there was an employee inside, but they refused to open the door and said they were closed. If you’re going to close early, at least update your hours or be honest. Very unprofessional and disappointing experience
