Crumb & Spigot - Chagrin Falls

I never leave reviews but this place deserves it. I’m writing this on the drive home. First thought seeing the outside of the place was “hey this place looks cool let’s check it out”. Walked in and it was real dark inside but ended up being pleasant. Sat at the bar and drank a bangin’ cocktail (No.27) while waiting for the pizza we ordered. Any place with vegan options is a huge plus. We got the marinara pizza with vegan meatballs and roasted garlic. Honestly one of the best pizzas to be in my mouth. Anyways, Tom the bartender is a solid dude. This is our new go-to place. Enjoy

One of the best wood-fired pizzas in Cleveland. Lively and cozy atmosphere, great team working in the kitchen and in the dining space. Looking forward to coming here again and again.

Literally the best restaurant in the area. My wife and I have been coming here for a couple years now and have always loved the staff, atmosphere and of course... THE FOOD!

Our drinks were good. Brooklyn lager and Barrel suit. We then had two pizzas. Spicy soppresseta and mortadella. Both very good. It was a very good meal.

I found this place a couple of years ago, and can't get enough. It's my go-to place when wanting to get a drink at a friendly bar, with exceptional food! Alex (the GM) takes customer service to another level..... And Michael is the best bar tender in Ohio!!

Best food in town. So fresh and clean. Owen was a 5 star server just like the food. He made our dinner that much more enjoyable.

Delightfully surprised by all of the delicious vegetarian options and cocktail selections. One of the best vegetarian meals we have had in awhile. Owen was fantastic and provided excellent service. Overall a must go spot if in the area!

We sat at the bar and had an amazing dinner. The meatball appetizer was so flavorful. We had the Shrimp and Grits and one their pepperoni pizzas for dinner. We loved everything we had and enjoyed watching the bartenders making the cocktails. The manager stopped by to check on us and was interested in how our experience was. We will definitely come back the next time we are in town.

Delicious food. Very quick and friendly service. Small but comfy patio.

This place is bomb. Recently went on happy hour and our bartender recommended some amazing drinks, pizzas and appetizers. She accommodated my fiancé and some of her drink accommodations and got to know our preferences and guided our selections and everything was amazing. We will be back with more people. If you’ve never been, go. Get the wings (extra crispy), get the speck pizza and get to know your bartender to help select your drink.

Updated review- changed to 5 stars after eating there again today 3/23. The vegan pizza was back and delicious! Thank you!!!!! Our server Gabby was extraordinary! She recommended a drink after hearing what I liked and even asked then to change it up a bit since she thought I’d like it even more and she was right! Thank you for responding to my original review and for the excellent food, drinks and service. We will be back soon!! Old review: We eat here every month and love it so much but the vegan pizza changed considerably and it’s not good. Please change it back!

Hidden gem. Quality cocktails made by a super-knowledgable staff. Mortadella/Pistachio pizza is stellar, as is the cauliflower side and mussels appetizer. The Bar Steak sauce I still think about. Service here is always kind, friendly, and welcoming.

This is our go-to for good food in the area. It’s often busy but we’ve never had a bad experience. I’m not vegan but there are vegan options that hold their own. Only complaint is that the beer is meh and the whiskey selection could be better but they have surprisingly good miked drinks. It’s not a hardship.

4th time eating here and I thought I should leave a review. We've never had a bad meal here, food is always amazing, no matter what we order. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Jessica has been our server twice and she's always friendly and prompt with our order. This definitely has become one of our regular places to dine. Highly recommend!!

I picked up a pizza "to go" on a Friday summer evening around 6:00 pm. The place was jammed and pizza took a bit longer than expected. Great pizza, though a little pricey.

Owen was an amazing server! Kind, attentive, personable and accommodating! Made our date night even better with his personality and recommended the chocolate budino for dessert- so good we go one to go as well!!

Brett was awesome, we were with a other couples we haven't seen in a while and he knew when to ask us questions or to just walk by with eyes on us so we could either keep the conversation going or call him over if needed. Great happy hour specials, wonderful drinks and everyone was kind and friendly.

We love this place! If only we could get away from the kids more often. Everything we have had was fantastic. Only problem is you get too much whiskey with the boiler makers. . Said nobody ever!

Great food!! Everything I've ever ordered is fantastic! It's always a very busy restaurant, so make reservations - especially for weekend evenings. It does get a bit smoky from the kitchen at times which is why I gave atmosphere 4 stars. It is a very lively crowd which is fun.

We absolutely LOVE this place! It is our number one spot and has been for a long while and I don’t see that changing. I honestly cannot say enough good things…from the amazing staff, the delicious food, to the cool environment…we literally are there multiple times per week and recommend it to everyone we know! The whole staff is just wonderful. Alex, Lora, and Michael are the BEST. They take care of us and truly go above and beyond. They make us feel super special! ☺️ I can’t express enough how much we love them and how great of a job they do! You cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. Our recent favorites have been the bar steak, smashburger, and any of the pizzas…(the gluten free ones are the best gluten free pizzas we’ve ever had). Everything is so good and the drinks are phenomenal! Lora and Michael are fantastic bartenders!! You won’t be disappointed!

My dad and I come here a lot for both the diverse menu and their QUALITY vegan selections. I'm not even vegan, but I would highly recommend the vegan meatball appetizer and the vegan ice cream (Served with a vegan cookie). Service is exquisite and there is a little something for all tastes throughout my family to be satisfied.

Lauren struck the perfect balance between friendly and respectful, making us feel genuinely welcome without ever hovering. They knew the menu inside and out, offering thoughtful suggestions. Her timing was impeccable — drinks arrived promptly, plates were cleared seamlessly, and always seemed to appear just when we needed something, without us ever having to ask. What really stood out was the above and beyond effort and enjoyment of making sure we had a fantastic experience. When one of our guests mentioned a dietary restriction in passing, Lauren not only confirmed ingredient details with the kitchen but also returned with alternate recommendations, clearly going out of their way to ensure a safe and enjoyable meal. It felt like we were being taken care of by someone who truly cared — and in today’s fast-paced dining world, that level of service is rare and priceless. We left not only full and happy but genuinely impressed. If you’re lucky enough to land a table in their section, trust me — you’re in for a top-tier experience. We dined here just under 2 weeks ago and telling friends they must go is how I remembered to go back and leave a review! We look forward to coming back soon!

First time here and OMG the food was amazing!! Price was great since we went on a Wednesday. Oysters also pretty cheap for how high the quality was. Brooke was our server and she was great all and all I will be coming back. Probably next week..

Sat at the bar for drink and found out they had 10.00 pizza for happy hour until 5:30. Pizza was very good. Will definitely go back. Place is very small though. Need reservations for weekends, but was told during week you could walk in and be seated. Will definitely be back.

Nice space. Service was great. Date appetizer was in a hot pan but inside was almost ice cold. Chicken milanese was also a bit cold. Pizza was good. The cucumber cocktail was excellent.

Excellent food and service. We've had the meatballs, pizza , spaghetti squash, smash burger, and chicken Milanese. All are excellent. Service is always excellent. Inventive cocktails and mocktails. One of the few area restaurants that serve a Vieux Carre. The vibe is hip, loud, and active, so if you're looking for a quiet intimate dinner, this isn't the place. But if you're looking for a lively place with good food and service, this a great option.

Let me start by saying that our server was positively wonderful, she was knowledgeable about the menu, raved about the items she loved and took care of our every need. She is an asset to the Crumb & Spigot team. The only problem is that I forgot her name! I feel so bad. But if you remember serving a mom and her two daughters on Saturday, we absolutely loved your service. Now on to the food. We ordered the wings, the Vegan Mushroom Fettuccine, the Lobster Burger, a pizza and bread pudding. The wings were very tasty and the homemade blue cheese was really great. The lobster burger was great as well, at the suggestion of our server we added a garlic aioli and that took it to another level. The fettuccine was also enjoyable and the pizza was solid. Everything was very well seasoned. The star of the show was the bread pudding topped with Mitchell's vanilla bean ice cream. I assure you that I am not exaggerating when I say it was fan-freaking-tastic. I cannot say enough about how good it was. We were beyond full and rallied to finish it because we couldn't stand to see it go to waste.

2022 Pretty cool place. Pizza and drinks are good. Back in 2023. Very good pizza and margaritas. Excellent service as well.

Cute place. Decent menus to satisfy a variety of cravings, with pizzas on up. Bourbon flight was available, but I had to drive. Maybe next time!

Food was good. Got the pepperoni pizza. A lot of vegan options. Pricey for food and drinks. Definitely recommend a reservation on the weekends it gets packed. Pretty loud in there for such a small place.

Food is good but we itwice ordered take out pizzas when entertaining guests and have our order shorted by 1 pizza out of an order of 4. Very irritating.

My husband's investment club ate at Crumb & Spigot tonight. In talking about the menu, several of the guys talked up the wood fire pizzas. This was the first time we had been to Crumb & Spigot and I have been longing to find a restaurant that makes an awesome Margarita Pizza. My kids decided to have Dominos tonight so I asked my husband to being me a Marinara pizza home because the guys were talking it up so much. He came home telling me how the restaurant was small, quaint, and his waiter was wonderful. He was pretty excited thinking I was going to like the pizza and said it was pretty close to my idea of a good Margarita Pizza. He had 2 slices at the restaurant. Unfortunately, we recently had our 1st case of Covid and he apparently doesn't have any sense of taste??? I grabbed a slice and microwaved it and told him it was awesome if you don't mind burnt. I showed him the bottom and he was so shocked that he looked at the bottom of the remaining slices and apologized that he didn't know how he didn't notice blackened pizza. This seems like it could be a decent pizza if you can get past the blackened bottom and the lack of ingredients - Some slices had mozzarella slices, some did not. Some slices had basil, some did not. Title on the menu needs to be changed to Blackened Marinara!! Such a Disappointment!!!!

Really wanted to like this place, but the food was terrible and very expensive. Prices are up everywhere but even at that this place charges a premium ($66 ribeye and $40 lobster burger). I don’t mind paying if the food is worth it but this was decidedly not worth it. It’s not worth it at half the price. Atmosphere was nice—a little loud for me but that’s subjective. The people and service were very good. The problem is that the food was not just mediocre but pretty bad. I had the Perfect Manhattan (not terrible), wood-fired oysters (terrible) and the chicken salad (terrible). My mom got the chicken Milanese, which was ok: breaded chicken topped with greens (relatively well-executed but uninspired is the most humane way I can describe it). I hate to leave bad reviews but unfortunately they earned this one.

I have been going to this place since they opened, and I waited quite awhile after the new ownership took over to leave this review. It was great to have quality food, wine on tap, and friendly service. Today, however, the food has gone downhill, the service is less timely/efficient, and the new ownership has gotten rid of some of what made this place unique. The pizza is now regularly burnt, portion sizes have decreased 20-30% (prices haven’t), and service takes forever to come around and see if anyone needs another drink. It feels like a lot of the quality control or care for what came out of the kitchen and bar is gone. The atmosphere is still there, but they need to work on the music. The other night we got Metallica, Queen, and the Beatles in that order. The music sets the tone for an atmosphere and it feels like they have no rhyme or reason for what they’re playing. The devil is in the details, and the new ownership seems to not pay attention to and/or instill this concept in the folks running the day-to-day activities. I will still patron them, albeit much less frequently than I used to. It’s a shame to lose one of the better restaurants in the area.

I believe the restaurant has changed ownership. In years recent. I used to love the shrimp and grits with the original owners. I have ordered the similar dish twice. Nothing like the original and the last time I ordered on 2-4-2025 it was a horrible combination of Shrimp, beef, grease and whole green olives. Lumps of cheese in the polenta that complicated and was a conflict for the dish. It was terrible My girlfriend ordered the same dish.She hardly had any of those above items on her "polenta" I will not be going back and plan on calling to get some sort of a refund. It was really that bad!

We were visiting fam from outta town. All they cared about was filling our water. We had empty cocktails and our food took forever. When the food did come, it was gross. We were also seated near the area where servers use the computers and overheard without trying the manager say very horrible things about all the customers.
