Small restaurant so if you go late in the afternoon / evening expect a wait. Well worth the wait tho. Each plate is packed with flavor. Fresh herbs and ingredients you can taste. The spicy garlic adamame and green beans are delicious. We also ordered the egg rolls as appetizer and mannn they hit the spot. The Pho is very tasty and made just right. I had the short rib pho and the meat is very tender comes right off rhe bone. Service is great they come around often checking on you. Lots of people come to pick up to go orders so its a busy spot for sure.
The bún bò Huế here was amazing. It has a rich, complex beef broth with flavors of brown spices and lemongrass, and there was a moderate amount of spiciness. The beef was tender, and the noodles were cooked perfectly, so they stayed chewy. The bún chả giò tôm thịt nướng was great and had a large portion of rice vermicelli and vegetables. The pork was marinated with a unique sweet sauce, there was a generous amount of shrimp, and the egg roll was packed and even stayed crunchy after adding the sweet and umami fish sauce. The sauce, however, was too subtle when everything was mixed together. Overall, the portions are large, but the higher prices reflect this. The service was friendly and quick, and there is plenty of seating.
Great little place to get some excellent pho at a great price. Appetizers were great, also. Would go back again 100%.
My take out order of pho was delicious and we'll packaged! I would recommend ordering a side of their homemade chili oil. I would buy bottles of if I could.
The food here was excellent — flavorful, fresh, and generously portioned. The pho broth was especially good, rich and clean-tasting, and the service was fast, friendly, and attentive. My only caveat — and it’s a small one — is the rolling cart used to collect dishes in the dining room. While efficient table clearing is important, the exterior of the cart and tubs should be spotless, since they’re moving through the dining area while people are actively eating. That said, this didn’t detract from the great food or service, and I would absolutely return, and recommend this place.
I wish I could rate this place higher than 5 stars! We love pho, typically get chicken or beef, but I tried the seafood pho and my husband had the beef short rib pho. Wow!!! I don’t ever want any other pho ever, the seafood pho had so much flavor on its own, I didn’t even want to add any toppings to it. Hands down the best pho I have ever had. I tried the beef broth from the beef short rib and it too was super flavorful. Highly recommend this place.
OK, I finally got back here and the food is so authentic. Everything was quality! Their shaken beef is so tender. I even got a simple dish for my wife who doesn’t really even eat Vietnamese food. I got her lo mein with shaken beef and broccoli and she loved it. They have a hot stone build your own pho and it’s piping hot. Of course they have your typical Vietnamese fixings that are all great.
We absolutely love this place! (We stop here every time we come into town.) I was all about the Pho Ga until... my boyfriend had me try his beef short ribs Pho. Now that is my new fav! Our other favorite is spicy garlic green beans. We switch it up sometimes with spring rolls, potstickers, or hot wings. This place never disappoints. The owner is very nice.
Absolutely some of the best pho I've had in a long time. I'm a big traveler and I've had pho all over the country. I can say that this place ranks pretty highly on my list. The restaurant is pretty small, but they have it down so perfect. Our wait was minimal for as busy as they were, and we didn't wait long for our food either. Absolutely delicious, generous portions, all for a reasonable cost. The photos are from after my husband and I finished eating. We'll be back!
Let us pho-cus on the good things in life. We came here recently to celebrate a birthday. While I usually get whatever combination pho the place has to offer, I decided to get the oxtail pho this time to spice it up. Another review had misled me said the meat was picked off the bone, which I was all for that evening. Imagine my surprise when the meat was served on the bone! I didn't want to sit there chewing on tail so I took half my pho and all the meat home. No worries. Meat is always more flavorful on the bone anyways. I was just trying to not embarrass myself in front of others, haha! Skip the spring rolls. The peanut sauce isn't robust. Stick to the egg rolls and you'll be happy!
It was pretty regular pho. Not bad but some better places on other side of town. Nice service
The vegetarian I tried item wasn't interesting, the look of tofu would throw off vegetarian. But I guess my friends who had lunch with me liked their food. Do not recommend for vegetarians.
We got take out last week. It was just OK, nothing I would get again. Chicken pho was very bland, though there were lots of big chunks of white meat chicken which I appreciated. The to-go containers are helpful for eating on the go. Overall, it was very middle of the road food, but probably not worth the price in my opinion.
Used to love this place but the past few months it’s been going downhill. One time we got there and got two different dishes and both meals had rotten beef. The spring rolls been having dirty lettuces that are not fully washed. The last couple times were not getting and better, lettuces dirty and the spring rolls have long strings of hairs inside. Please double-check your kitchen and fix the issues, it’s just not sanitary.
Although it's not a huge restaurant. This place is always packed. The food is quality-ish and flavor is there. We got the sweet and sour chicken. Chicken low main and two mixed meat pho. Pho large bowl is around $18. Pretty steep for a bowl of broth and noodles. If you scoop the meat together I guarantee you'll be amazed at how little you get. All signature dishes are above $16. Most of it is rice or noodles. If that's your preference. Then it's the place to eat. I'm giving 3 stars because the portion of meat at or above $16 should be more than the ounces you receive which is little and the meat I ate wasn't lean. The sweet and sour chicken had the best portion ratio as you can see in my picture. However it's fried. Again if meat portions don't matter to you. Then the flavor is there and the service is good. We will try again and I'll try another meat signature dish to see if it's fried as well. I believe there is a grilled chicken and rice dish on the menu around $17. Again the quality of the meat is questionable.
Overall experience was three stars between the food and the service. The place was extremely dirty. When I walked in there, the server asked me multiple times if my dog was a service dog and I showed her his badge and told her he was a service dog multiple times. She stated because of other customers not liking animals and I totally understand but she was rude about it. The food was decent as I have tried Pho before.
Tasteless food. Pork chop was served slightly food safe adjacent. No char to it. Tofu spring roll is flavorless. Regular spring roll was slightly better. Shrimp was overcooked and hard. Not sure how it’s rated so high. Veggie pho does not have any tofu. Additional tofu is $4, costing $19.50 for basically the cheapest ingredients possible.
First time eating here with my family on January 6, 2024 after 7 pm. Waitress and waiters were very attentive and quick to take our order. We ordered the P10 Bun Bo Hue, P9 Bun Rieu, and the P1 House Pho'nomenall. Food was okay, the broth was a bit too salty. While eating my pho, I saw a giant cockroach 🪳 just roaming around freely on the floor going towards the table next to me. I definitely lost my appetite after seeing that. I should've taken a photo of the cockroach with my phone, but not trying to look like a crazy lady taking a photo of other customers eating their pho and their shoes where the cockroach was. Hopefully this restaurant hires pest control. If that happens, maybe I'll visit this restaurant again in the future.
I ate at Pho Chandler for many years. The food was better in early years. Recently the quality of the noodle soup degraded considerably. The soup taste like water, not an authentic pho soup. The food inside the bowl becomes less and less. For a large bowl I ordered, it is literally putting the small bowl content into a so called "large bowl". I guess they made enough money and do not care about customers anymore. I will not go back for sure.
Disappointed in the quality and experience. The taste was extremely bland and the portions are so small! Not worth the money. Paid $13.25 for a chicken pho that seemed like a children's portion. My husband ordered the beef short ribs and they were bland, overcooked, and fatty- the spring rolls were dry and tasteless- we wont be back-
