Deluxe Fun Dining Restaurant

Lilly was GREAT! The food was fantastic! The only issue was that the music was really loud and the profanity and references to drug use were real- so that aspect of the atmosphere would make us hesitant to return, and we definitely wouldn’t being our kids back- but we are sensitive in that space, so that may not impact many the way it impacts us But the ENTIRE team was great and very accommodating and Lilly deserves a new polishing cloth.

It was my first time here, a couple of friends and I have started what I hope to be a monthly brunch. Deluxe was chosen this month and it did not disappoint. Lillian was our server and she was gracious, prompt, and very knowledgeable of the food and menu. We will definitely be going back. You do have to pay for parking, there's a lot out back and across the street. They have free 2 hour parking on the street if you can find it, and Google said they offer valet, but I wasn't that concerned about paying. I had the Ribeye, it came with truffle fries and an egg made however you prefer. The ONLY issue I had was I asked for over easy and it was fried, but it was still delicious. Same with my friend. Overall great experience and I highly recommend.

The staff made us feel truly welcome, and every dish we tried was full of flavor. The presentation was beautiful and added an extra touch to the meal. The atmosphere was lively and fun, making the experience even more enjoyable. Between the great service, tasty food, and positive energy, this place is a total winner.

The place is different. Ambience, seating, music. Sound level was lively but not hard to talk to people at the table.We were a party of 8 and our drinks were great, really unique , both flavorful and colorful.The good was well prepared. Each person at the table got something differnet and everyone loved their dishes. Service was great. Ary was very attentive and helped make the night and overall experience even better.

Took a weekend trip from NY to Charlotte NC, my wife surprised me with a dinner here at Deluxe Fun Dining. Walking into the restaurant the staff was very friendly and welcoming. The server was amazing and attentive to our every need. The food was amazing and the presentation was out of this world. Would recommend over and over.

Our server Michael was excellent, he explained the drink menu and suggested drinks that paired well with what we wanted to have. Michael’s personally was also very engaging as we shared travel experiences… The presentation of the appetizers and entrees was over the top!! We had to take pictures so our friends would believe us. BTW the food was amazing and the atmosphere comfortable. We will be back at the Deluxe!!

This experience was absolutely amazing! It was top tier from start to finish from the food, service, and presentation of drinks and food. The customer service was impeccable and the best I've had in a while dining out.

This place was awesome! The service was great , but the food, the food was amazeballs. The dramatic service was aesthetically pleasing. Very good vibes with good service and overall good food! Yana our server was super wonderful. Her service was excellent!! Will definitely come here again!

WOW what a wild, fun experience!! Skyla was our waiter. She was amazing. . . Attentive and on top of silverware changes, drinks, food recommendations. . . She made a huge, positive impact on our dining experience. The food presentation is over the top with beautiful plating and extravagant platters (some with sparklers) . . . And the food is DELICIOUS. We ordered the Oysters Rockefeller, Crab Cakes, Lobster Salad and Salmon Wellington . . . The chef excels at the sauces and dressings. We had the Chocolate Heaven and The Cheesecake for dessert. . . So yummy. Guess what?? You get beautifully costumed dancers too!! It is a whole big beautiful dining extravaganza. We are definitely going back for the Tomahawk Steak and the Bloody Mary.

We had a phenomenal dinner here! Wedge salad, great lamb chops, and some delicious old fashioneds made for a great time, and Alexis was a perfect server. Highly recommend.

We LOVE this place!! This year we hosted our company Christmas party upstairs in the private room. The staff was amazing, the doors was delicious as always and Keyonna does an AMAZING job putting these together.

Alexis was my server(beautiful)she was attentive and ensured my dining (birthday)experience was 1 for the books I recommend if you go make reservations online.Prepare to spend$,but aye you only live once.Parking is paid unless you arrive early.The food was as nice as the decor .So,what are you waiting for ?

It’s fun place to have dinner. The owner have a great idea to value food and atmosphere to the fun way and customers enjoyed. Food and drinks are great. It always fancy how they represent a single dish or drink to your table. Our server is fabulous. She put her energy to the same level of the event in this restaurant theme. She has a knowledge and explain all the detail about food in the menu. Recommended to try once if you are in Charlotte. It’s something unique experience.

Lily was amazing and really helpe d to elevate this experience! Food was so good! I have never been so excited to get my food! surprises at every turn! Dessert was my favorite! Go try it!

We were celebrating two birthdays. The atmosphere was fun and exciting. The food was delicious and the presentation was amazing.

David was our server and I will say he always gave us the impression as if we were his only table. The service was impeccable as well as the food. We also had a chance to meet the owners and they were both really friendly and I can see where the staff has learned their excellent customer service. The fact that they took the time to tell us about the restaurant as well as letting us know about the brunch as well as the saxophonist that plays during the week. We are looking forward to our next visit and if you are looking for a great restaurant and a dare night spot you will not regret this choice

Absolutely love this place, the food tasted amazing and the presentation is grand! Worth the price, also enjoyed the evening show. Service was exceptional as well, Jose was very kind and made sure we had everything we requested.

I had an incredible dining experience thanks to our waiter, José! From the moment we arrived, he greeted us with a warm smile and made us feel welcome. His knowledge of the menu was impressive, and he provided excellent meal suggestions that truly elevated our experience. Cassie is the best wait staff person!! Made my dining experience even that much better!! The food is delicious tasting AND with amazing presentation!! All the liquid nitrogen, gold leafs, and popcorn mini stand and cooking tub led to such a dynamic and everlasting core memory!! Loved every bit of my dinner!!

Made a last minute reservation for 8 Valentines day weekend. At first we were told there was no table seating, but they would accommodate us to sit at the bar. We had been really wanting to try this place and had people visiting from out of town so we agreed. Once we arrived we were told they were able to accommodate us with a table. From start to finish the service was exceptional. Our server Sam was probably one of the best I’ve ever experienced. Not once did we sense any attitude regarding any of our requests. The decorations for V-Day were so beautiful, and the presentation was amazing. Every dish was amazing. This was truly a wonderful experience and Deluxe Fun Dining will definitely be a restaurant we will frequent.

Yulie was the best, so sweet and absolutely made our night. Everything was so fun and people were great. Again, biggest ever thank you to Yulie she was everything we could have asked for in a server, so beautiful and so so nice!

This was such a fun experience! One of our guests was gluten & dairy free, and the chef was able to accommodate without batting an eye. Everything came out to the table with the most fun presentation! We tried some of the cocktails, and they were fun and so delicious! We would definitely come back, it was an awesome experience!

Our waitress Alexis, was amazing! She was super sweet and fun to have and she was dressed so cute for the atmosphere. We just loved her! The atmosphere is a little dated 😬 for the money. The popcorn shrimp was okay, the Cornish hen was good! Drinks were pretty good.

When I say OVER THE TOP FUN?! @deluxefundining was a movie!! My friend chose this spot in Charlotte as her bday dinner. Everything was presented on huge platters or displays🤣 Most of all Everything was so delicious. We were moaning and dancing in our chairs! Thats why we're friends. Nice Spot..Thought I would try it out for Restaurant Week...We came on a Saturday afternoon...The food was good...I know its all about the presentation here and the presentation was on point...Only thing is the tables are entirely to small for the added accessories that come w/ the entrees..Plus the light on the table didnt help especially when there is already plenty of light...Music selection was good & wasnt to loud.. Customer Service was Fine...If your looking for a chill spot I would recommend this restaurant...

We had a party of 12 and were seated on time. The server had two tables of 4 people when we arrived plus us. She then immediately got a table of 5 and 2 on top of us. This led to us waiting almost one hour just to receive our cocktails. We mentioned this to the manager that she needed help. Several in our group have worked as servers so we were not mad but just needed a better experience and she needed help. She got some help and the rest of the dinner went well. We would go again just maybe not as a large group.

It was pretty good. The presentation of the food is excellent and entertaining. The food was very good. The tomahawk steak was a little over cooked. The service was alright I just expected to be a little more of a show since it's what the place was all about. Might have been an unrealistic expectation though.

The food was great we ordered 3 appetizers and 2 main course dishes. I enjoy going to DFD for the cocktails. The only reason I gave them 4/5 stars is because I called before arriving to see if they could seat 2 without reservations they said yes, come right in. When we arrived, they turned us away because of no reservations. We explained and were given a table. There were only 3 other parties inside when seated. Our waiter was amazing.

Me and a group of 6 went The day before Valentine’s Day, it took them about two hours to wait on us all together, but once they came, they were very apologetic. The manager, Sebastian did the absolute most that he could do. He made it a more pleasant experience for us by accommodating us and also giving us a discount on our meal. Normally their service is pretty good but this day it was the worst we have ever had, however, due to these staff, they were able to pull through good job guys !!!

Went there to celebrate a friend's Birthday. It was ok. The food is way overpriced and is mediocre in taste. My drink tasted garlicky and it was suppose to be fruity. There's alot of smoke when they present your food so everything tastes smoky. The dancers were great and polite. I think its a nice place to go have a quick drink, but, the prices were sky high for no reason.

So, we came here cause my date it was her birthday and wanted to celebrate and do something special. I heard about this place by one of my bestfriends . She told me they would box your food at the end once you ready for the check. We didn’t get that at all Sophia D she just gave us our box and bag that was messed up and didn’t even box our food. We had to do it ourselves. This was both our first time and the experience to me got ruined by our server. I don’t think I felt like she wanted to service us or she was having a bad day. All in all the appetizers was great! The entrees was ok. I would have given a 5 star if our server was a lil better.

It was okay. I had the mac with lamb chops, the Mac and cheese was very oily and the cheese tasted very processed. My girlfriend had the deluxe lamb chops, the lamb was actually pretty decent but the upcharge for the gold wrapping is pointless. The vegetables were really good, especially the pickled red onions. The drinks were cool looking but it was just a lot of sugar. I did enjoy the dancers, they played it up for the cameras. The music was repetitive. The place smelled fishy but I assume it's from all the crab and lobster served. Overall, I wouldn't go again, very overpriced for what you get. And remember that they already add a 20% tip to your meal.

My rating is definitely about expectations. I truly expected more but filming, angles & filters led me to this place. The size, actual decor, and overall "experience" was underwhelming. This may not be the case for others but for me it was subpar certainly as the draw to consumers. The food & flavors were mid. The prices didn't align with the cuisine. Under-flavored Korean wings, dry chops, 2 shrimp on the salmon dish with shrimp topping and the shrimp were initially missing so when I questioned I received 2 pale shrimp in a dish. My son was pleased, after all it was a dinner for him. So with that I am giving a higher rating than I typically would. Curtis was a great & attentive waiter as well.

I had high hopes for this place. We went for brunch. For $54 you think you would get a wider variety of food. Also some of the food you had to figure out what it was because none of it is labeled. Everything was absolutely cold. There was nothing hot or even remotely luke warm. Which is bad considering our reservations were at 1130 and brunch started at 11. I will say the mimosa was delicious. Would I go back....maybe but I would order off the main menu so I can get hot food.

We got wings, salmon, lamb chops and mac... they forgot the mash potatoes that came with it but she brought it out later after I mentioned it to her. Our server was not the most attentive. They weren't all that busy either. Reading reviews if there was an opportunity for her to enhance the experience she missed it and this being our first time there feeling like you aren't being attentive to us and you forgetting stuff that comes with the meal didn't help with the overall experience. Look the food was good overall. The wings were good. If you like your wings "wet" thats not how they come maybe on request idk. They were good though, you got the flavored sauce spattered on, juicy and cooked well, skin nice and crispy but not too hard. The salmon was cooked well also. Melt in your mouth. Now the mash was ok. It wasn't flavorless. It was made safely in my opinin. good texture but it felt like it was there because it had to be there. It had no identity, flavor pallet wise. The Mac was like eating noodles in a lava nacho cheese sauce pool. I'm sure some ppl like it like that. It wasn't my cup of tea. The lambs were cooked to perfection too. Great flavor profile. And the bread they give is like a dry loaf with a light sour cream type of butter. Not my cup of tea I'm not a sour cream fan but Imagine if you are you would enjoy it with that bread. Now presentation wise... the environment overall is quaint. Could use some updating. But for the pricing I want to be full and that is not what you are going to be after leaving here without ordering additional sides with your entrée. I would say eat before you come here but if thats the case... don't come lol. But there is a demographic for ppl who want to eat small plates and pay overpriced meals. If you can cook good on your own or wife or family cooks good this place is not going to make you feel like "deluxe" or "fun" while dining, when you know you could cook it yourself the same or better and there are other competitively priced restaurants that give you larger portions when paying top dollar and the decor and atmosphere feels more upscale. No shade at deluxe fun dining I wish them continued success but I do feel there are some areas of opportunity.

Yesterday 2/13/26 my partner and I went to Deluxe Fun Dining because we weren’t able to celebrate Valentine’s Day on the actual day. What made this night even more important is that it was also our 10-year anniversary. We had to arrange babysitters for our kids and plan everything carefully just to be able to have this night together. This was supposed to be a very special moment for us. We arrived around 10 p.m. and ordered our drinks, which were beautifully presented smoke coming out of a chess box with both of our drinks inside. That part was amazing and exactly what we expected. After that, we ordered crispy crab ball croquettes. The food itself was good, but there was no presentation at all, which was extremely disappointing. The entire reason we chose this restaurant and paid the higher prices was for the exaggerated, over-the-top presentations that Deluxe Fun Dining is known for. We watched other tables around us receive elaborate presentations while ours felt rushed and overlooked. It made us feel like we weren’t given the same experience everyone else was getting. This was especially upsetting because this night was meant to celebrate both Valentine’s Day and our 10 years together. Because of our Jobs we weren’t able to celebrate today 2/14/26 To put in the effort of finding childcare, planning ahead, and spending this amount of money, only to not receive the experience the restaurant is known for, was honestly tragic. On top of that, our waitress rarely checked on us. A gratuity fee was added, which we didn’t mind, and we still tipped her anyway but spending $308 and not receiving attentive service or the full experience just didn’t sit right with us. The food was good, but the whole point of Deluxe Fun Dining is to make dining fun, immersive, and memorable — and unfortunately, it was none of those things for us. Because of this experience, this will be our last time coming here, and I won’t be recommending it to others.

So I went here for my cousin birthday this past Sunday 11/23/25 the decode was nice but the service was subpar the atmosphere was real Bland They played same five songs over and over again, then changed to the next five songs and play them over and over again. The place had no real energy. The food was good for the most part however, starting shortly after we left, most of my party started feeling sick. Where do I even begin with Deluxe Fun Dining in Uptown Charlotte? From start to finish, this was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. My friend ordered a medium-rare steak. Simple, right? It came out completely well-done. When we pointed it out, the server gave us the most ridiculous excuse I’ve ever heard in a restaurant: “They will try to cook it medium rare, but they cook it with the sauce and that makes it cook more.” I’m sorry, what? What culinary school are these chefs coming from that teaches steak magically changes temperatures because of sauce? If you can’t cook a steak to temperature, maybe don’t put it on the menu. The Cornish hen was next, and honestly, it tasted like it had been on a strict no-seasoning diet. Not even a grain of salt or a hint of pepper—completely flavorless. Then came the mac and cheese, which somehow managed to be even worse: bland, mushy, and absolutely inedible. I wouldn’t even call it mac and cheese—it was more like plain noodles swimming in some halfhearted cream. The chicken skewers? A disaster. They came with a pile of unseasoned rice and what was supposed to be a tortilla but looked and tasted like a Frisbee. Tough, dry, and impossible to eat. At this point, it was almost comical how consistently bad every dish was. To top it all off, the service was just as disappointing as the food. The manager eventually came by and asked if everything was fine. We were polite but honest and said no, the meal was well below our expectations. Instead of addressing the issue or offering to make things right, he just vanished and never came back. No apology, no solution, nothing. Overall, this was not just a bad meal—it was a complete failure on every level: food, service, and management. Uptown Charlotte has plenty of restaurants worth visiting, but this is NOT one of them. Save your money and your appetite. Spend the $275 for 4 else where. Deluxe Fun Dining? The only “fun” part was leaving. And I was the level headed one in the group.

I went to deluxe Dining on Valentine’s Day. Reservation was at 4 we were seated on time annnnnd that’s where it stops. I knew it was 135 a person which was fine, you have to pay a 50 dollar deposit that doesn’t go towards your meal. Although you do get it back in 5 days. I just think it should have been put towards the meal. Drinks were good. Place was nice but I think Valentine’s Day there for 90 percent of the people sucked. My gir ordered the salmon meal which had no up charge on the menu but when we received our check they charged an extra 15 for the salmon. I caught it and brought it to their attention, they didn’t argue they immediately changed it. My issue with that is, I saw a lot of people order that same meal and 9/10 they didn’t catch that, so it looks like they made away with a decent amount that night. Our waiter was cool. All in all I just feel like Valentine’s Day there was a scam. I went from a 300 dollar night to 440 lol cuz we can’t forget that no matter the size of your party, they add on gratuity and then ask for another 20 percent tip. That was not 440 dollars worth of food lmao 200 at best.
