You find a better place to go to for breakfast or lunch! Their menu has excellent choices but their specials are just as excellent! The staff are amazing! They are attentive, caring and always efficient!
No one in the area has better homemade sausage gravey with a biscuit. Every diner I go to I always try the sausage gravy. Almost every time it's canned and is terrible. Snyders is absolutely delicious every time I get it.
Our first time there was last week and we have been 3 times since ! Great food and service . Katie waited on us yesterday morning and it felt like we knew her our whole life ! Highly recommend this place .
First class! The staff is friendly and attentive and the food is prepared with skill and attention. The atmosphere gives one the impression of having found a forgotten memory of family meals and warmth.
Snyders Restsurant was a great find! The food, service and atmosphere is amazing. I went in to grab a take out but had to stay and enjoy the restaurant. Highly recommended 👌
If you remember old school diners, this will surely be worth your visit. It's old as can be but the food is excellent and the establishment is clean. Service was friendly and welcoming. P.S. the homemade corned beef hash was excellent 😋
I do not like being tracked by Google but I do love Snyder's restaurant the food is clean and delicious and it's one of my favorite places to meet friends for breakfast after Mass. I also enjoy their dinner selections on Friday and Saturday nights. Linguine and white clam sauce is the best. Try it you won't be disappointed with the food or with the excellent staff.
Oh my goodness!! This is the place to go for EVERYTHING on the menu. Cody is an amazing chef and I assure you, you will not be disappointed. The best stuffed haddock I ever had, the best clam chowder (even better than Maine), homemade bread, real green salad...all fresh ingredients. Even my mother who typically orders a burger everywhere we go had the linguine with clam sauce...again the best ever. Even if you are a healthy eater, the ingredients are perfect as the food does not sit heavy in your stomach, as I am one who typically avoids menus as such. As long as Cody Hayner continues on as the General Manager, Snyders could be considered some serious fine dining for an amazing and exquisite dinner. And not to mention, he is a top notch, great hearted and community oriented young leader in the local area...just what is needed to inspire others to pursue their dreams! Thank you Cody for a wonderful experience...you and your staff!
This is a great breakfast spot. The food was fresh and not too $$. Their corned beef hash was homemade and delicious. Their home fries were also delicious!
Quality food at a great price. Hash and eggs only $7.50, about $3 less than most places. Everything was cooked perfectly. Quick and friendly service. Highly recommended.
I love going here. The food is good, reasonably priced, atmosphere is laid back, and staff are friendly.
We moved to the Albany area a little over a year ago and we've been trying different diners, about 10 in total. Well we need not look any further, this is the place for us. Price, quality, portion size and a simple menu with everything we like.
Best diner style food in the area by far. Food actually has a nice flavor/seasoning and they never overcook their food. Staff is super nice and treats me very well. A lot of places look down on me because of my race and how I dress, but this place treats me like my money is green. Place has a very old school look but don’t be deterred, food is great. I come here twice a week. Their pastrami sandwich on marble rye is ridiculously good 😌
Under new management this place has improved noticeably. The food is delicious, the place is cozy, and the staff is attentive and friendly. Chelsey is AWESOME! She recommend what was good, albeit biased to her own burrito (I presume named after her - the Chelsey burrito). I had French toast and corned beef with a side of breakfast potatoes; delicious. A great Sunday brunch spot.
We just keep showing up over and over. At this point, we're digging into the specials because we haven't had a bad dish yet. Wish they were open a little later, but that's barely a complaint. You HAVE to try the Irish corned beef hash! My wife loves their French toast, but has also gotten the eggs Benedict a lot. Awesome waitress recommended the potato salad over the cole slaw or Mac salad...and that's some of the best potato salad I've ever had. Hands down. We'll be back...again and again
My first time eating at this restaurant. Had corned beef hash breakfast, it was extremely tasty and coffee was delicious. Service was quick and super friendly. Cant wait to return.
Great place all-around. Friendly people and good food! Would highly recommend the place to others and try to stop by every time that I am in the area.
Gotta say, much better food than one would expect from a diner atmosphere. The place is nice, and clean. Feals like a traditional small town diner and the staff is friendly. The food quality and portion sizes are great. The prices really make this place a good value. My wife and I have been here several times for breakfast, and never disappoints. Looking forward to go here for dinner soon!
Great staff, friendly atmosphere, kid and senior friendly. Great breakfast and lunch place and you get excellent value for your dollar. Thr eggs are so fresh, you can taste the difference. You can do a quick meal, or linger over your coffee, which is very good, by the way. Plenty of parking and also plenty of sitting options inside depending on how many people are in your party. Table can hold 2 - 8, easily.
Had such a great experience here and an awesome lunch. The place is under new management and it definitely shows. The menu is updated with a bunch of new items. The wait staff is very friendly and gave such good service. The food is outstanding and I can’t wait to go back! You also get a lot of food for a cheap, fair price.
This is a wonderful place. Great atmosphere, the staff is super attentive. Never had a bad meal here!
We ate dinner there on Saturday 8/15/2020. Absolutely delicious!! It was me and my wife. We started out with a nice salad with homemade blue cheese. The wife had the chicken Parm with fresh cut sweet potato fries. I had the German Saurbraten with a potato pancake and German Saurerkraut. All food is made on the premises. Fresh and very tasty. The portion sizes were generous with some leftovers for the next day. I had some fresh homemade key lime pie with whipped cream for dessert that hit the spot. Cost us about $50 plus a tip. It was well worth it. They were not crowded at all and the space was clean. The staff was very friendly and service was outstanding. The owner and chef came out and greeted up and to see how we liked the food.
I frequent Snyder's once a month sonic with some friends. They have a large variety of food to select from. I have not found anything I didn't like. Still working my way through the menu and tried the fried fish. It was excellent and not a small price of fish. I love fish and most places give you this skinny piece tied barely finds a hotdog bun. The piece I got was huge and stuffed into 1 hotdog bun. It didn't fit but I don't eat the bun. This piece of fish wouldn't have fit in 2 buns. What pleasant surprise when they brought it to the table. They use a thin batter and it was a nice light brown color and not oily at all. It was perfect and I enjoyed it a lot. This meal is going to make it hard for me to work my way through the menu. I will be eating it again.
Sometimes choose Snyders for our friends meal after church on a Sunday. Last week we had six of us go and two more joined us. Six were already seated when last two arrived unexpectedly. Servers quickly brought chairs to our booth to make it possible to seat our other friends. Was looking for a healthier option and found that sharing the make it your way 3 egg omelet and Belgium waffle worked out well for us. It's only open for breakfast and lunch and has an old fashioned home town feel. Many of its regulars have been going there for years. Definitely worth a try.
If I could rate this place 10 stars I would!!! First off, my waitress was amazing!!! Forgive me, I forgot her name, but she is new and has only worked there 2 weeks. Hold on to her!!!! She goes above and beyond! Secondly, normally I don't eat a big breakfast, but I ate every single bite of my breakfast sampler!!! Eggs were perfect, and the rest of my food was delicious!!! And I tried my husband's corned beef hash....Holy Mackerel....I could make a meal out of that alone!!!! I live about an hour away and will be back just for breakfast here.
stopped in for breakfast. corned beef hash was actually home made and really good, poached eggs were done right. I had the eggs benedict and they were good. my homefries were done very well, the other serving could have used a little more crisp but still spot on with the spices. Service was fast and didnt wait around for coffee refills. Staff was spot on. looking around the other guests food looked well done and they seemed to be enjoying it. Will stop by again.
Wonderful local breakfast spot. Fresh cooked food, delicious with generous portions. Staff is welcoming and friendly ☺️
Excellent food, homemade corned beef hash, service is excellent. Might be a little more expensive than other places, but a great place for breakfast.
Every thing was delicious, I ate 2 breakfasts. French toast with sausage, and the homemade corned beef hash was great.
Amazing, felt like the kitchen table with family we have not seen in years. Service and food are out standing.
Good diner for breakfast, decent prices and good quality food.
Loved the eggs and hash. Warming cozy like back in the day . You know 70s family place . Come by yourself and find out that you'll have a great place for breakfast .
Excellent place to have a very good early breakfast. It's local, it will be the chains every time. Shop local!
Went with 2 friends for lunch and food was fantastic and so was the service. Will.be back again. Haven't been there since the bar was taken out. Keep up the great service 👍
As a Diner Enthusiast the history of this diner is what captivated me. 60+ years in operation as a diner and it was once a bar. The manager was kind enough to come out and give me the history of the diner. The atmosphere is a smalltown, everyone knows everyone, cop sitting at the counter type vibe. We sat there for two hours laughing, sharing stories, and sipping coffee. Check out my socials - AnotherDayAnotherDiner
Had my Company Holiday Breakfast here for the 2nd time. Couldn't have been happier. Although they don't take reservations, the staff had seating for the 9 of us ready at 8:00 sharp. The meals were delicious, filling and cooked to order. For the price of under $200 to serve 9 people for breakfast we couldn't be happier. A BIG thank you to the team at Snyders Restaurant. We look forward to many more meals together!
If you're looking for a quick and hearty breakfast, come here. It's not the first time I have been here. And every time I come, I have not been disappointed. The food and service were very good. I went in on a Sunday late morning and did not have to wait to be seated. I was greeted almost immediately by my waitress. Once I ordered my food, it did not take very long for it to come out from the kitchen. The Irish eggs Benedict was very good.
This was my first visit here as a food critic especially breakfast this Irish Benedict was ok chunky cornbeef hash but the biscuits and gravy was amazing 🤩 definitely worth it.. so I only give 4 stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️ but highly recommend the visit.. the 518 food critic Doughboy #78
Had the sampler breakfast. Nothing really unique or standout. Standard fare but a nice comfortable place and very good service. Portions are perfect and prices reasonable. They get the job done. I'd come back. However, every breakfast came with homefries. And they were cooked better than most places but Not a fan of potatoes for breakfast and sends message of no variety. I'm sure they would have subbed it if I asked but didn't look like there was much else. Pre-formed hashbrowns I think. Yuk. But again, not a show stopper
Pretty good breakfast place. First time going even though I pass it a million times. Service was a little slow but the food was good. Not our go to place.
Great spot for breakfast! Their Irish Benedict hash was phenomenal!!! I will definitely be back next time I'm in the area.
Server was smiling and efficient. Eggs were well done. Corned beef hash was only so so.
Snyder is a neighborhood resteraunt frequented mainly by regulars. Food is good, service is good, prices are good. It's a little noisy when busy which is usually.
The food is great, but the last experience had me a little aggravated. The server basically ignored my mother and I and focused only on the guys at the counter that must frequent the place alot. Took a long time to even get our food and our check.
I was pleasantly surprised that they have changed their ways. The last time I went I ordered the "hash and eggs" and it was literally only that. No home fries or toast, and we were told that they would be extra if we wanted them. This time around, we got everything with the meal for just about the same price. Only holding back 1 star because the "homemade hash" tasted a little burnt.
I rate this establishment above average for their obvious desire to make the customer happy. The breakfast and lunch experience is absolutely 5 stars. They are just beginning to serve dinner on Friday and Saturday evenings. Most of the food was really good. They are trying hard to anticipate their customers wants and needs. Need a little more experience and it should all be good. The filet entree was fantastic. The chicken marsala was also very good. We were the last table of the night so were out of things. My husband's prime rib was good, mine was dry. Were asked how we wanted them. Neither one was medium rare. Both were medium to well. However, we were the last of the prime ribs; so, learning curve will take care of that. I would and will definitely go back.
A perfect after church or morning walk dining location. Staff are amazingly friendly, informative, and prompt. The grilled corn muffin experience still lingers in my mind. Corned beef hash nicely charred, then meaty inside. Scrambled eggs light and flavorful. Bacon crisp, not burnt. Hash browns the real McCoy! Toast not that great but it's toast 😵💫 Coffe good!
Nothing kills breakfast or fast food integrity like a meal delivery service. In spite of this, I was still happy with the quality and taste of my food! Mealeo offered me my first experience with Snyder's, after I was running late for work one Saturday morning, and I never would have made it until dinnertime. I ordered the 2 eggs, over medium (perfect), house made corned beef hash (not from a can - a rarity! ), house home fries and Italian toast. Everything was flavorful, and not heavy with grease or salt. If I ever have occasion to dine in person, I definitely will.
Food was yummy! I had the tuna melt, my daughter had the buffalo chicken wrap. Service was pleasant and professional. I heard their breakfast is awesome! Only open until 2:00 pm. Worth the trip!
The food is always great but the service is always super slow. Hostess told us to go look for a table she doesn't know if one is open or not... Waitress was friendly but very slow. Watched our order sit in the window until the cook yelled to someone to help the waitress. The guy ignored it and went on to stair at the customers lol. Great food but service is very lacking.
Snyder’s is now under new management. The same team that runs Hank Hudson Brewing. This was also my first visit so I can’t speak to any changes/similarities to how the restaurant has been. Everything ordered was delicious. The pastrami Diablo comes with a Smokey coleslaw which is a nice twist. It wasn’t spicy hot just gives a little warmth to the sandwich. The chicken bacon ranch quesadilla was loaded with filling and very cheesy!
We went on a Monday when they were serving free coffee. I ordered an omelet with avocado which was delicious. The hash browns were mushy though. My husband ordered a western omelet which he thought was 'just okay.' He hated the mash browns as he called it.
Great Clifton Park "Greasy Spoon"... (meant as a compliment). Can't beat them for good American breakfast. Link Sausage and excellent Corned Beef Hash (not your typical!). Blueberry Pancakes are a favorite of mine.
Honestly I'm going to have to go again and try again I really wasn't impressed I don't mind waiting long for food but it just genuinely did not taste very good I'm going to return in the future and give it another shot and hopefully be able to change my rating but me and my friends really did not enjoy your meals in the slightest
This is a nice little establishment. The food is good and reasonable prices. At Breakfast the service is great. At lunch the service sucks. The servers just talked to there friend and had us wait 15 minute before we were helped. I will just come for breakfast
Omelets are a disappointment. The cook is obviously inexperienced. The omelet was small and flat. The potatoes were dry and hard. Seating at the counter is ridiculously uncomfortable. Wait staff is a 6 out of 10 in regards to service and friendliness. Could be a great place to go with all of the business growth in the area. Good parking, good location.
Cozy little Diner atmosphere. For some reason the waitress wasn't paying any attention to us and I had to go get her to get service after a few minutes. The food was adequate and tasty. It looked like my friend's grilled cheese was not melted in the middle of her sandwich. The hot dogs with meat sauce was tasty. A group of ladies at a table next to us had breakfast plates that looked very good and had a lot of food on the plate. But when they were done they even couldn't get the waitresses attention. A third table had to get up and go get her to get his check. Hopefully this is not a normal occurrence because it wouldn't be good for business.
I was a little disappointed with my first visit to Snyder’s. The food was fine, but the service made the experience less enjoyable. Even on a quiet Thursday morning, there was a longer wait than expected to order and receive a very simple breakfast. As a "seat yourself" place, I searched for a highchair and then wandered with it, a toddler, and a bag to find an available table. There is not a changing table available in the restroom, so we got to sit on the floor. The server didn’t return after dropping off the food, and I eventually had to ask another server for help and figure out payment at the front. Next time I'll try someplace else.
While I thoroughly enjoy the food, the service is always the biggest issue. Food comes out cool, or we just have to wait long periods before a server notices us.
I usually love going here. However, I had eggs Benedict there last week and the eggs were over cooked, and not much Hollandaise sauce on it! I’ve always loved it there, but very disappointed this time!😢
I ordered a turkey club with fries. The club was the size of a small turkey sandwich made with regular sized bread. It had very little turkey, lettuce and tomato. My french fries were no longer the 1-inch pieces. The waitresses were not very friendly. I lived in the area near this restaurant for 47 years and this was the first time I ate there. I will not go back.
Not a very friendly atmosphere. One waitress was sweet she stopped by to check on us a couple times because our waitress was too busy talking. Three of us ordered omelets that came out overcooked. No reason for that the restaurant was not busy at all I could go on and on with my experience there won't be back too bad I chose you over Halfmoon Diner big mistake
When we first walked in, we saw a sign that said open seating, so we picked a booth. The first server that spoken with us seemed really annoyed that we were sitting in that part of the restaurant and made a comment about how this section was closed. Between the two servers that waited on us, we felt like it was a burden to be waited on. Terrible attitudes. They also set the check down right after the food came and it felt like they were trying to push us out, even though they were open for another 2 hours. The food was ok but the service was awful.
Came here for Breakfast food at 1:00. Place was quiet, not many tables. Waitress came over immediately had no smile, no personality, appeared angry. Got my coffee, took order approx 10 mins later!!!!! Again, not busy. The couple in front of me, received his food, they forgot to cook hers, so she sat and watched him eat. No apology from wait staff. I ordered 2 eggs over medium, cornbeef hash and crispy bacon. It took 35 mins to get my food, I was practically the only person left when I got my food delivered. Oh original Waitress who took order...never saw her again My eggs where extremely undercooked, runny, cornbeef hash was ok, bacon was burnt to a crisp and tasted like expired meat. I was so hungry I tried to eat it. Different waitress comes back about 10 mins to ask if ok. I just ok, she didn't care, turned around left. Finally ask for my check, another waitress asks me how was everything, I told her the bacon tastes funny, maybe bad. She asked me how I ordered my bacon, i told her crispy, she said, this is burnt....duh...and she took it off my check. Only reason for 2 stars.. Will not go back, horrible food, horrible service. Ruined my afternoon, got sick, probably from the bacon or undercooked eggs. Plus it took a total of 1 1/2hrs to get food and eat. In a quiet time
Been coming to Snyder's for years, but this was the absolute WORST customer service I have ever received there. Young waitress clearly did not want to be there, paid little to no attention to me whatsoever. Very disappointed.
Requested "well done" scrambled eggs. As always, followed up with explanation that well done to me means no moisture. Asked that the toast be buttered on all of it, not just a 1/3 of it. When I sent the eggs back, they didn't remake, they put them back on stove and broke down to minute pieces. I had to use a spoon to eat them. By the time they came back everything else was cold. Toast was barely buttered. Potatoes weren't cooked thoroughly. The fake squeaky high-pitched waitress left nothing to be desired either. I won't go back.
Staff was very friendly but the portions were abysmal and it took almost an hour to get corn beef hash and eggs out in a nearly empty restaurant. To their credit when I mentioned how small the portion was they offered to make more but I didn't have time to wait again. The food tasted decent but nothing special. Might be back it could have been an off day.
Will think twice about going back here. My brother & I had breakfast there today. He had ordered the French Toast and a side of Corned Beef HASH. First, it wasn't real hash. He was going to send it back as it was awful (took two/three bites and left the rest). It was actual corned beef mixed with hashbrowns! They need to realize what real HASH is, it certainly wasn't this crud that we were served! (see photo) Second, the plate of "Hash" was as expensive as his French Toast. PLUS - he only wanted two slices of French Toast, but was still charged for THREE slices. So, to recap, nasty alleged "hash" (that wasn't real hash), overcharge on the French toast, and overcharge on the "hash" (being same price as the French toast). What a ripoff. Luckily there are many other choices for breakfast in the Clifton Park Area.
The food was adequately tasty but the portions left me wanting. Not a whole lot of bang for your buck I was super disappointed in the service i received, the server seemed more interested in turning tablets over then attending to the needs of the diners i asked for water waited a long time then asked a different employee before i finally got a glass of water,
Pretty much one of the worst restaurants in clifton park halfmoon. Ordering from this place is a nightmare, they will forget your order you come in to pick it uo and they said they never got it meanwhile "it's been on the line for an hour" -staff yelling at line. Another time ordered a cheeseburger which says lettuce tomato onion included, get home no LTO and then call and they told us that you have to say that you want it. The amount of food they give you for example home fries or just friesnin general is next to nothing, its like like going to wendys asking for a small and they give you 3 fries. Save you money go somewhere else.
Welcome to New York where quality doesn't matter, Service sucks, and false advertising is a staple. They never refill coffee for starters. The waitress was cold and inattentive. Ended up with another covering but still couldn't get coffee refilled. Friend had a bacon omlet with no bacon.
This restaurant has the worst service I’ve been to in awhile. Got seated around 11a, wasn’t asked for coffee or water for 25 min. The waiter came and asked our food order and it took 45 min for an egg and cheese sandwich, eggs and pancakes. Won’t be coming back again
Worst experience ever trying to have lunch here. We all went wedding dress shopping at Jocelyn’s and wanted to have something to eat to celebrate me getting my wedding dress. We decided to go here since it was walking distance. BIG MISTAKE! There was 9 of us but even when we sat down our waitress was very rude and had a nasty attitude. She messed up our drink order which was simple nothing complex at all just coffee, soda, and water. We ordered our food and then she comes back 15 mins later saying there’s no more grilled chicken would you like something else. So a couple of us ordered something else because of it. Then came back again asking again what we wanted. Then when the food finally came all of orders were wrong completely. I got so stressed out about the whole situation that I just left. I didn’t even want my lunch anymore. Very sad cause I wanted to have a nice lunch after dress shopping with my family and friends. Didn’t happen. Please don’t go here.
Horrible unfriendly staff. Pancakes are disguisting, I feel bad my children ate them. Taste like straight bisquick batter. The first waitress we had was so inattentive and unfriendly, rushed us through our order, never let us know they had breakfast specials. We won't be going back
Food was mostly mediocre even though what I ordered wasn't correct. Ordered a side of corned beef hash that looked like greasy dog food. Waitress wasn't very friendly and took food away before we even finished eating. Won't return and absolutely will deter anyone else from going there.
Short and sweet review here. -Egg sandwich was decent -HORRIBLE service -Rubbery chicken I drive past this place every day finally tried it and regretted it immediately. As the customer walking in it felt as if I was an inconvenience to the staff. Won't be back .
Worst Ever - Stay AWAY! Stopped in here for breakfast with my wife and the waitress was rude. The food was cold. had the "Special" with hard pancakes, syrup that wasn't real syrup that looks stringy like mozzarella cheese. The home fries were hard, dried out and burnt. The hollandaise sauce was some kind of cold gelatinous mess. Toast was cold with tons of butter slathered on top - like they didn't care that they put a gallon of butter on top of toast that was too cold to melt it. bacon burnt. Eggs runny for over easy. my wife's were also runny that they tried to cover up with yellow died gruel for sauce. There were only a few tables of people in the place. No excuses. Just lousy food and lousy service and yeah I popped in the rest room to wash my hands and it smelled musty like a moldy bar. I could tell the other waitress felt bad for us since she was the one who came over and asked us how things were and picked up our plates.
Horrible horrible horrible service! One star is generous! Waitress (tall woman with short brown hair) had zero personality, and acted as if she would rather be anywhere else. The only words she spoke were when she took our order after sitting there for ten minutes. She brought our drinks, and never asked if we wanted cream for coffee. I had to get up and take from someone else's table. She brought our food to the table without a word, never came back to top off coffee or ask how everything was... nothing! I had to ask another waitress for coffee! She finally brought the check after we stood up after finishing and waiting 15 minutes after pushing empty dishes to the edge of the table. I haven't even gotten to the food quality... The eggs benedict was cold, the hollandaise sauce was seperated. My wifes BLT was cold, barely toasted, and had almost no mayo! A dry, cold, BLT? First time visiting Snyder's and our last! One star is too generous! Do yourself a favor and don't waste your time or money with Snyder's... keep driving and find another restaurant that actually appreciates your patronage!
Potatoes were under cooked. Omelette was cold. Was charged for toast my son ordered and never received it. Waitress never came to see if we wanted more drinks or how our meal was. Unfriendly staff. Never thanked for coming in. WILL NOT RETURN.
Went for breakfast there today ( father's day) that was the first mistake. Waited at the table is for about 15mins for a menu. I ordered a Swiss cheese omelet that supposedly came with home fries and roast. Breakfast arrived minus the toast. The omelet was drenched in grease and inedible. I sent it back and ordered a toasted English muffin. I was brought a fruit cup not an English muffin. By this time I have up and asked for the check. The cheese omelet was still on the bill. I pointed this out to the waitress a d she told me " we are giving you the fruit cup for free" Need I say more? Will definitely not go back.
What can I say...the parking lot is the best thing about this place. Oh yeah, the serve what some people would call food? I had an omelette that was terrible, the coffee tasted watered down and the home fries were more like mashed potatoes. Do your self a favor and go to a Dennys or Cracker Barrel.
Waited 15 min before our waitress came over to us! Food finally came and it was terrible, so I mentioned this to the waitress... She merely picked up the plate and walked away without a word! We never saw her again. What an embarrassment in front of my guests. Will never go back.
Not impressed. Sorry but true, we went for lunch, the place was pretty empty, only three or four tables. We had a party of five, and kiddo was hungry, ordered her mozz because she loves them, and we figured that would be out soonest. It wasn't, it came out less than two min before food, fine really NBD, but the wait was pretty long for all of it given it was dead in there. Food was not great, and icing on the cake was that we found a black curly hair in the fries (yuck!) Ruben that was advertised with swiss came out with and American single, which isn't even cheese, and the fries were soggy, but to each there own there. We had to ask for napkins and ketchup as well. Our server was nice enough however, I have nothing to say about her, but the kitchen staff was certainly more interested in coming out to watch the game on the television in the dining area. Would not recommend personally .
Have eaten there often in the past and was always wonderful, that is why I brought someone who had never been but we were EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED! Our waitress was not friendly nor attentive. Had to ask others for coffee refills and water. The breakfast food took almost an hour and came out cold. The butter on toast didn't even melt toast on everyone's plate was so cold. Omlet's were not impressive and cheese in them were cold and re hardened. It was like eating leftovers!! The tall waitress with the bandana was very nice and attentive but we did not have her. We had the other lady working the room with her! She seemed like she hated her job. Not only did both servers say it's up right now, I just checked 2x and then it was another 15 min after each time. When the food was delivered it was carried diner style with one plate literally on top of other plates food!! Completely understand sanitary!!! I don't think I will EVER recommend Snyder's again. I was embarrassed for recommending and for them!! 😡
Ordered through online site, waited over an hour and half. One item wrap completely missing. No condiments that were ordered and drink wrong. The restaurant not helpful and said they could not refund because it was placed through Mealeo. Mealeo said to reach out to restaurant.
We used to come here frequently and loved it but the last three times have been terrible. Today we gave it one last chance. 2 cups of watery new England chowder. 1 BLT for our daughter - 1 leaf of wilted lettuce, 1 slice of tomato, 2 pieces of bacon. A 1/2 pound burger that was ordered medium and came cold and burnt - not over cooked but burnt with black scorch marks - and 1/2 pound was generous to the extreme even if u say it's precooked weight. The French fries were stone cold. No ketchup, no water to drink, no waitress to check on us and there were only 2 tables of other people in the whole restaurant. And when we finally got someones attention the only resolution was "she took it off your bill" no sorry. Done with Snyder's after years. Bad food + bad service + bad customer relations = don't bother.
Do not come here unless you want to wait forever for your food. Ordered 2 scrambled eggs and a toasted muffin and it took 50 minutes and it was that quick bc we asked 3 times for our food. Better management is needed to hold hands here.
You either love it or don't. I'm in the latter category. Stopped in a little after 12 noon and sat at the counter. Busy place - waitstaff fluttering around but it took awhile before I was acknowledged and given a paper breakfast menu, not the full menu that included lunch, etc. So I got the bacon egg & cheese on a hard roll. Wait staff were bumping into one another. Regular diners were fussed over. Not me. I got up looking for a bathroom to wash my hands. Had to press against a wall to avoid being knocked over by a group of large, burly men who didn't see me as they walked by. Wandered around and finally found the bathroom. Came back and the sandwich was ready. It was small & messy with bacon that was probably leftover from the day before - cold, hard red parts, tough fat, barely edible. Waitress tried to take my plate before I was through. This place is for the hardcore locals with gossip to spread. I won't be going back.
Nothing like walking into a restaurant and getting told close the door well where do you want us to go there is no place to go there’s people standing right in front of us. Not asking us nicely to close the door by telling us to. Second of all waitress that helps us is ruder than ever to us. And then having an allergy to food especially wheat and not knowing if anything has wheat in it. And plus to get mad at you because you’re asking about it don’t go to this place. I would not recommend this place in 1 million years.-5 stars for me.
Shorstack pancakes. After waiting for 45+ minutes, the came out burned on outside and uncooked on the inside. Sausage was uninspiring. Coffee was awful. Service average at best. Sat in booth in the room with ATM, 4 old men eating breakfast swearing, talking loud, banging around the booth, obviously regulars . From the wait to the awful uncooked food and being stuck for an hour. Will be a hard pass for anything food wise again
Waited 25 minutes for food. Server never came to check on us. Omelet had runny egg. No seasons on home fries. Egg sandwich had one side in sausage patty. Terrible. Never again.
Never received full order. Server was rude, didn’t check on us and made a rude comment about a special needs. Child!
Went on Saturday at 11 not busy at all, then it took over 40 minutes to get our food, which was breakfast. The staff is not customer friendly, the cooks obviously don’t care to get the food out very laid back. Food once we finally got it, was good. But honestly I looked at my boyfriend and said I give them 5 minutes more, and we leaving and Finally came with the food and said sorry for the wait. Won’t be going back.
