Always good but every time we go to the drive-thru 80% of the time they forget to put gravy or dressing Salad dressing maybe they should ask customer what they need on things like that I should have checked it LOL thank you

I have been wanting to submit a review on the DQ located in Crandall just off 175 for a while now......i want to say how impressed I am with the teens who work in the evenings. They work so well together....they don't stand around a talk with each other....they are constantly cleaning and delivering excellent service. Kudos to whomever hired these kids!! They present your restaurant well even when management is not here. I told a very nice blonde headed girl how impressed I always am and she was just so gracious..... I ordered coffee then decided to order a hash brown and ham burrito. It was goodand hot. Food was out pretty fast and the girls at the front had a big smile and greeted me when I walked in.

Great place, I have been here twice and service was awesome and and the people are nice very welcoming. Food was hot and ready their bread toast was awesome with the right amount of butter and toast...good, good, with steak finger were good, hot like they just make them. The gravy was good. I usually add pepper to any gravy. I am justa a pepper kinda guy.

5 stars because the staff was super friendly and nice! I thought they deserved the recognition. I went on 7/21/2017 around 9:00 PM, the male there even "juggled" my blizzard to show the infamous no falling out texture. Awesome staff.

Oh my goodness.. I love Maya so much! Every time I order something and they accidently give me the wrong meal, Maya is ALWAYS! so polite about it and makes sure it's corrected. She always asks about my day and makes me feel special. She's fantastic. 5 stars for Maya. The mangers can be pretty rude, even when they just take my order.. Like why are you rushing me?? How come the managers aren't as nice as Maya and her other co workers?

The cook here made her burgers very well. I was impressed how she buttered the buns on my chicken sandwich. "The dude". Also the oreo cupfection is the best dessert that they have.

5 stars all the way. Store was very clean and well maintained. The assistant manager was a cool guy. He seemed to have found that perfect balance of being a good manager while keeping it fun and clean. I walked in and everyone was bzy doing something, cooking, taking orders, restocking, cleaning ( deep cleaning not just top layer ) and most important of all seemed to still be enjoying there day in a low stress high productivity environment. He was doing his job the way it is suppose to be done, unfortunately it’s hard to find people that care enough to do that any more! I have eaten a lot of Dairy Queen over the years and this way the most on point location I have ran across in many miles.

Landon is the absolute best! The doordash app wasn't showing the new summer flavors of blizzards so I ordered regular blizzards and talked to him over the phone and he changed them to the new summer flavors I wanted. Additional, he packaged it with care and secured it to where it was safe and fresh/cold to be delivered. Thank You Landon! Give this guy a raise!😁

Pretty decent burgers and steak/chicken baskets. The gravy, unfortunately, is hit or miss. Slightly more expensive than the other chains.

I came up here for my grandfather's funeral, this was the DQ that my dad has be coming to since he was born, there are so many memories there and the burgers may have been a bit dry but it was still fantastic to come in and see it still standing and going strong

Stopped at this DQ while on the road. First chocolate dipped cone of 2025! Just what the Dr ordered! Also, my friend got a blizzard and said it was good.

I get the same thing every time I go to this Dairy Queen: a Royal Ultimate Choco Brownie Blizzard filled with fudge. It's good every time BUT super inconsistent in how it's made and it takes forever to get through the line. Sometimes there's no fudge, different ice cream used, the stuff doesn't get mixed all the way down so the bottom half is just plain icecream, etc. My husband and I ordered 2 in the same order and they were made differently. If they were consistent and mixed well with a shorter wait time I could give a better review.

Has the best ice cream in town but it is a longer than average wait it seems any time you go no matter how busy it is. I went inside a couple of times and I'm not a germaphobe but behind the counter could use a but of attention especially if someone like my wife wouldve seen it she probably wouldn't go anymore if she saw cups and strange crumbs on the ground. Also the staff seemed preoccupied even though it didn't seem busy almost as if I was bothering them. But the icecream was delicious!

I am at this location and ordered 2 xl chili cheese dog with no mustard extra onion combos.. and didn't get the combos and had mustard so I took them back.. and the cook said we have to wait for our order been waiting over 10 minutes so far.

Food was cold sodas were flat drive thru you could barely hear until they moved their microphone. Hamburger sloppily made more lettuce than needed.

I was not happy with my last visit to the DQ in Crandall. I ordered a Hungre Buster Jr. and got a Hungre Buster bun with jr. fixings. They may have ran out of jr. buns, but that just messed that burger all up.

It was good the last time or two that I went, but recently the food always tastes distinctly like burned cooking oil. It looked like the cook tonight had a cigarette in his mouth while he was in the kitchen. I will probably skip this location for now...

Look. I get it. Everyone is short staffed. If you can't handle the stress as a manager, please vacate your position and go back to being the bottom rung so we can have hands. Also yelling at your employees where my wife can hear is terrible management and don't ever get snappy with her again because she's pregnant and was trying to be calm with her explainations when she noticed something was missing.

We used to eat at this Dairy Queen all the time, but the last few visits were sure lack luster. Burnt food, incorrect orders, suddenly they no longer take coupons, it used to be great though. Expect to be in line forever and for your order to be incorrect or missing something.

All we ordered were three blizzards. There were two cars in front of us and it took about 35 min to get our order. I watched several cars behind us turn around before they could get to the speaker box. I noticed they had several employees working, they were just young and inexperienced I guess.

Ordered a bacon cheeseburger combo and the guy at the window was not happy,nor friendly and quite rude.Ask for additional packets of ketchup and it was like pulling teeth.After leaving the window I noticed that my French fries were cold and hard.So I went back in and only one younger employee was helpful.This location needs to be sent an "Undercover Boss" before it's too late.If you don't like your job please quit. I gave two stars only because of the helpful employee.

Haven't been here for over 2 years. Ordered a grilled chicken sandwich and ff. Total was almost $7.00. Ridiculous! The fries were absolutely horrible. The fries had been re-cooked, were funny colored and did not taste like potatoes. The grilled chicken was the size of a small cheeseburger, no flavor and I think it had been sitting around, and to think I paid almost $7 bucks. Never Ever Again, this was NOT the Dairy Queen I remember!!

We’ve had a dissatisfying experience tonight while dining here. The manager Cynthia was extremely rude to her obvious new employee. As she was training them she seem to have no patience and wouldn’t give them the opportunity to actually try and learn. It seems to me that it is very unacceptable to treat people in that manner specially when the restaurant industry is being hit the hardest with no one willing to work. I am a little disappointed to see that kind of behavior in such a beautiful town. I hope that poor young employee doesn’t get fire from me posting and I hope she knows that one day she’ll have a better job with better management.

After walking in, lady at the counter looked at us and didn't say a word and went about her business. After a couple minutes she came.to the register and took my order. Only to realize she's the manager. She was rather unpleasant as if she didn't want to be there. I was not satisfied with the customer service. The food was sub par. Nothing to gloat about. Only complain I have about the food the hashbrown was greasy. Over all the place was clean. Mensroom was clean.

Drive thru had notably a long line but wasn't moving. Inside dirty, didn't see any cleaning between customers or use of disinfectant between customers. Cook didn't have gloves or hair net on. Only thing worth buying is prepackaged ice cream treats.

Ordered the 3 taco meal started chowing down and realized the meat wasn't fresh really dark in color then had bright pink through some of it ...I just got my ice cream and left. Will never be back to this location and have ate here for the last 35 years...

We spent 29.34 dollars for our order, my brother n law ordered a dude sandwich he ask for pickles and onions and when we got our order he didn't have it on his so we went back to the counter and told her she said it don't come with pickles n onion I said ok but we ask for it and we don't mind paying for it well he didn't get any pickles or onions even though we were willing to pay extra because it don't come that way and said she couldn't charge us that way! I'll never go back

I am not sure what was worse the cold overcooked chicken tenders, the over abundance of flies or the two unsupervised preteen boys whom were chasing the flies and climbing all over the booths. Ended up throwing away all my food and leaving.

I don't know who owns the dairy Queen in Crandall, but they really should take a vested interest in the product that is being put out from that place. It's really ridiculous!!!! Not only does it take 40 minutes to get an order for four people but when you get it it is never ever right. It truly saddens me.

This is the worst Texas Dairy Queen that i have ever been and I've ever been in. the owner is a rabid cheep skate. it took him two long texas summers to repair the AC system. the portions are small and constantly fiddling with the recipe to make the food cheeper. the gravy is like thin soup.

Super slow, the rest of our party was done eating by the time we got our food. They messed up several orders while we were waiting. There were 3 people working in the kitchen and 4 in front, no organization or leadership.

Ordered a beltbuster fries and jalitos .They got the burger and fries right but they gave us a mixture of onion rings and tator tots and a couple of jalitos . Not sure I would ever go back to that location again . It's not the first time our order has been messed up .They just don't seem to care

The most horrible service. I ordered 2 Blizzards, a smoothie and a Caramel sundae. 25 minutes later a young girl brought me 4 mini Blizzards that I didn't order so I told her what I ordered. Then a young guy brought my smoothie. I waited for another 20 minutes and still nothing. I found a manager and told her what has happened so she wrote down my order again and said it would be right out. I got my order 15 minutes after that and when I got home it was wrong again.

This was the slowest business I’ve ever gotten. After I placed my order, the person in front of me only ordered a basket And it took like 10 minutes for them to get done and they weren’t even busy and I did not even get an apology. In the drive thru you can see them prepare drinks. Elisabeth does NOT use a scoop but uses the actual cup from the drink hands have been on. Gross since she's taking money and preparing drinks without waking her hands. Wouldn't recommend ordering a drink.

I was traveling to Dallas when I stopped here to eat. I waited 30 min for my food when there was only 1 other person there who already had their food. I tried to get Sprite but it was out so I told the girl at the counter and she rudely replied with so get something else that's not my problem I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone

Everytime we go to this location in crandall they always forget some of our food. Then tonight one of the employees wiped her nose and face around it with her bare hands then went to touching product on their shelves behind the counter without washing her hands first. I personally will never go back to this location again.

Took 15 min to make a pop corn chicken and a oreo milk shake. The pop corn chicken cam out 10 min befor the milkshake and most of the other machines were either not producing right or broken. Not recommended for anyone else to go to. Trust my review i was nice to them from the start

This place was super dirty not only that none of these kids wear gloves! I saw one of them take cash then go and grab an ice cream cone bare handed no washing hands no gloves! I also ordered a chocolate dipped cone again with the bare hands and one of them started scratching their head so thanks for my cone full of dead scalp skin! I didn’t even eat my cone I was so disgusted. If you touch a cone or the bananas in the banana split bare handed wash your hands they should be wearing gloves. Ridiculous and disgusting I’m sorry 🤢🤢🤢

This location has fallen hard over the last few months. Last time they got the customization on my burger wrong and today when I got home I got my order out and they gave me the completely wrong item after waiting in line for 10+ minutes in the drive thru. Won't be returning.

I have been to this dairy queen countless times, and countless times I have been disappointed. Tonight is the last time I’m going to stay quiet. Everyone knows Dairy Queen Blizzards are FAR from “cheap”, so with that you would expect to at the very least get what you ordered. For the last three months every single time we have gone through the drive thru we have ordered the same exact blizzard - and every single time they get it wrong. We then end up having to ask for the topping and add it in ourselves. It seems like a minor thing but it’s frustrating when the receipt says it and they repeat it back to you correctly and it’s still wrong. I don’t know what the issue is but it needs to be addressed. We will not be returning and I guess we will just go to Terrell from now on.

They have nothing but kids running the business and don't know how to take your order right. You tell these kids to cut the onions and that you don't like raw onions. These kids have no ideal what you are talking about. I try to talk to the manager and these kids make excuses for you not to talk to the manager and there is nothing they can do to resolve the issued. I try call the if you call it restaurant some kid claim he is the shift leader and will not let you talk to the manager. These kids need training. I would never again at that that day care restaurant. That is the worst place plus it is the dirtiest place I have been at. Nasty place.

Usually good. Although last time I went there with my kids, I ordered a brownie extreme blizzard and halfway done I realized they filled the cup with vanilla, and completed it with brownie extreme. Would you mind terribly telling me you don't have enough so I can order something else? My son's orders were fine. I'm not coming back. I'd rather go to Sonic.

It was aweful!! Most fast food places, if a customer in the drive thru is holding up the line they are usually asked to pull forward, out of the way of other customers..i think an 18 minute wait qualifies this request but at this restaurant that was Not done &Everyone behind this car was forced to wait. The driveway is set up, that if someone so chooses to leave due to the excessive wait..they cannot leave. The staff was not even apologetic & by the time i got my food..my dumplings were cold & they did not even make sure i had crackers. I WILL NOT GO BACK TO THIS DAIRY QUEEN but will go to Kaufman instead, plus the Kaufman staff are friendlier too!!!

I know everyone is short handed I work for a business that short handed everyday but, but stop taking call in orders. I call to see if my order was ready while my husband is in parking lot and they said yes its ready got to wait in a line of six cars. When I went to window food wasn't ready so I parked food is ready why not pay and had it through the door. now I have to get in line to wait for cold food not happening trash goes the food. I just recently moved to Crandall and was so excited to have a DQ close. I have been nothing but disappointed every time I go. The front of house is completely ran by teenagers which wouldn’t be a bad thing if they were efficient. Tonight after sitting in line for 15-20 mins I had to repeat my order 3 times and each time when it was repeated back to me it was wrong. When I approached the window I asked for clarification on the kids meal (the menu states that the meals come with a drink, side, and treat) I was told that the treat only comes with the $7 meals. I felt maybe I was incorrect in my reading but after looking at the app and the google menu it clearly states that a treat is included. I feel that the staff should be more educated in the menu, efficient, and faster.

Don't expect the brisket tacos to look like the picture in the advertisement. There was about one teaspoon of meat in each taco. Don't bother. All you can taste is the tortilla.

I ordered a kid’s meal and burger meal, they weren’t that busy and I waited over 30 minutes before demanding a refund to be told “idk what he did with your food”. There were 3 employees working the whole restaurant; who were in no hurry and didn’t look like they wanted to be there!

Order completely rong !! Bad attitude all the way around every last employee. Out of everything we asked for!! Atmosphere was just horrible to never again avoid this place!!!

My mom has never had an issue with this DQ until today….The lil girl in the drive thru with the blonde braid (I’d like to assume is Kelci) had an attitude because my mom asked for another cup holder ( she shouldn’t have had to asked for the first one given the order had over 3 drinks and sundaes)…and she still forgot one blizz, when giving it to me still had an attitude all the while the rest of the team is just hanging around having a good damn time.

I went through the drive thru and ordered 60 dollars worth of food so i gave a 100 dollars to pay and was told they dont accept 100s with no signs that say cash not accepted. I told her its a large order can they take it ,then the girl asked the other girl and the other girl repeats the same non sense .At that time I have 2 choices i can drive off and 60 dollars worth of food wasted or ask her to ask the manager. She gets mad and ask the manager if they can and ofcourse manager with common sense says yes but then the girl gives me the ugliest looks and shakes her head and then throws around the ice cream i ordered for my kids around. Worst customer service ever. Train your staff to have better manners and to know the law. If cash is accepted then all cash is accepted if not make sure you post signs. I will never go back . Im a local resident.

Horrible experience. My husband says I’m just spoiled but I say, if I pay food I expect good service. I came in 5/8/23 @6:20ish pm. I ordered 3 blizzards and all three of them failed the “upside down” test. Blizzard was dripping everywhere, I thought it was a shake. I didn’t ask them to remake them because the number 1 rule is to never ask a cook or chef to remake ANYTHING!! So I just drove home with blizzard wasting out of the cups. *Sigh* I will return because the customer service was good but the blizzards were fu**ed up
