My server Michael was fun AND efficient! Food was also tasty, as was the Prosecco. Thanks!

Flight was delayed. Michael B was awesome. Not just with me but everyone. I’m in the hospitality business. I would hire him in a second.

We looked around to see what menus looked good at the airport. None were too impressive but I will tell you the cheese burger was great and the truffle fries didn’t disappoint. Our server, Oliver, was fantastic. It’s been a long day and this is just what we needed.

Lex was an angel of a waitress my second flight of the day got delayed hours and I’m running on zero sleep and 12+ hrs of travel. I was borderline in tears before I came in here and I’m leaving with a huge smile on my face. Lex is a rare breed of exceptional staff that should be getting the best tables and sections because she clearly knows how to connect with people. Even the most stressed out people like myself. Highly recommend going here and if Lex is working request her and tip her well!!!

I had the pleasure of being served by AJ at Bar Louie in DFW today, and let me tell you, this guy is on another level. Even though the place was running low on napkins, liquor, and out of a lot of food, AJ didn’t miss a beat. The drinks he did whip up were absolutely top-notch—so refreshing and perfectly balanced. His service was lightning fast, and he was everywhere at once, making sure everyone was taken care of despite the shortages. You could see he was moving faster than anyone else on that floor, keeping the vibe positive and making the best of what he had. If you’re lucky enough to have AJ as your server, you’re in for a great time no matter what!

We were on a layover and we decided to stop at bar Louis, and our whole Andrea gave us the most best experience in the whole airport. I recommend her she was great.

Stopping over at DFW is always challenging. I stopped by here to get a drink and I was very happy instantly. I was greeted by Brandi and she took care of me very well. If you want to relax, stop by here and get a drink. If you are lucky enough Brandi might be your bartender.

Bar Louie fits the bill for your food quest in Terminal D at DFW. The food was better than expected. The artichoke dip had good flavor and came out bubbling hot. The wings were meaty, crispy, and the sauces enhanced the experience. The pepperoni flatbread had a robust sauce and the crust was nicely crisp. The service was excellent. For a small space, there are too many large tv’s mounted on every square inch of the walls. It is very distracting and hard not to look at the screens. But what the heck, for many if it’s not a 60-inch flatscreen, a 5-inch screen will capture your attention.

I’m not too typically one to complain about service or food however I ordered the avacado toast and couldn’t find any avacado. Another patron asked for more avacado and that’s when we found out it was a spread from a package. Disappointing. Service was okay. No one acted like they were happy about their jobs or even life itself. Food looked pretty on the plate but not that tasty.

Dined here on a 1 hour layover from 6-7 PM on a Friday and was able to get in and out in time for the connection. There were only three other diners when I arrived. After waiting a minute at the entrance I was told to sit wherever I like. A few minutes later a waiter came over and took my order. A different person brought me my drink, and a third person came to take my order again. She went and checked on the order I placed, and I received my food about 20 minutes in. The staff were friendly enough, if not transactional. The Cajun pasta dish was fine. Small chicken cutlet and four shrimp were the included protein. I asked about the missing bell peppers from the description and was told “they must have run out.” I would have hoped to at least be informed in advance, as the dish was now the aforementioned protein and noodles. It was pleasantly spicy, though I wasn’t sold on such a spicy cream sauce. Perhaps with veggies in there it balances better. In all, for almost $50 for an entree, beer, and tip I would have expected more, even at an airport.

I will say that the hostess who greeted us was amazing. Her sense of humor and quick wit are what made us decide on Bar Louie and what ultimately brought a smile to our faces during this brunch experience. The meal itself met our needs for a meal during a layover. Better than many meals I've had at airports, but not overly impressed either.

I'm not sure if it's just a bad day or not. The waitress was not really looking at us. It wasn't too busy at all. The food was delicious and not too pricey. I only gave 3 stars for the services.

Disappointing, ordered beer got here👍👍, ordered fries got fries,👍, rushed out to catch flight and then delayed, walked back in to sit and was frowned upon coming back in to sit and eat my fries. Minutes after I walked out , minutes So I Tossed the fries and went to gate. Disappointed….

Ordered a chicken club with fries. Sandwich came piping hot and fantastic in every way. The fries however, were from last week at the most recent. If you found fries in the couch and ate them, the experience would be identical to eating these fries. If I gave you one and told you it had spent 4 days in my car, you would not for a second question me. I pointed out the frigidity of my side dish and the server happily offered to get some more. 20 minutes later, after obviously forgetting about it, I kindly asked again. “Oh sorry of course!” Great, progress. A few minutes later he returned with a fresh new plate of ancient, petrified, car floorboard fries. They HAVE to be messing with me. This couldn’t possibly be offered as a genuine solution. I was happy to be in on the joke until the vacant and confused look from my server emerged. “They’re still cold…?” I said. “We just made these fresh” he insisted. I implored him to try one. Not interested, but still certain that these dusty old garbage fries were fit for human consumption. I resigned to cut my losses. Paid full price. Dodged severe food poisoning. Again, the sandwich was great. Maybe you’ll get lucky and also get French fries from the same month as the rest of your food. I didn’t.

I understand that working at a restaurant is hard, and working at a restaurant in an airport is even harder given the traffic flow and spikes in customers at different times during the day. Nonetheless, customer service is the hallmark of any successful business, and Bar Louie DFW fell well short of delivering and meeting our expectations today. We alerted our waiter to the fact that our burger was not well made (burnt and cheese not melted); instead of offering a solution (i.e., remake the burger, offer another item on the menu, or even apologize), our waiter stated, with aggression, that we ate a percentage of the burger and therefore there was nothing he could do. We asked for the manager, who also reiterated that there was nothing he could do. We did state that the fries were good (which is why we gave this review a 2 Star in the food category), to which the manager laughed. Not a good way to get repeat business or a 5-star review. And for waiters, I imagine that tips are an added bonus on top of the hourly pay they earn. If you meet your customer with compassion when they bring to your attention poorly prepared food (especially when you did not prepare it, but the chef in back prepared it), you should offer solutions to enhance their experience, which in turn would increase tip amount. The tip we left reflected how we felt about our experience today.

Had a 3 hour layover, decided to go to terminal D for Bar Louie and waited about 5 minutes at the host stand to be seated, maybe put a sign that it’s open seating idk. Then we waited at least 10 minutes felt like 15 to be served before we finally decided to go down the way to Chili’s where we were created and served immediately. 0/10

My husband and I stopped by here 10/2 during our connecting flight. On top of horrible service, the credit card machines were initially down but we got lucky and they were back up when it was time to pay. Our server had took it upon himself to add a 100% tip on our meal that was was SO bad we tipped 0 (we stand by 20% tips but we had that bad of an experience). Blatant theft and they never emailed my husband back after attempting to contact them so we are having to dispute through our credit card company. How can you operate like this and have no consequences for your dishonest employees????

If I could rate zero stars for service, I would. Bussed a dirty table on our own so we could sit. Asked for a wet towel to wipe it down and was snapped at. Ordered drinks from a woman who clearly did not want to be there and never once made eye contact with us. Ended up having to go to the bar to get our drinks that had been made but just sat there. No idea where our server was and the bartender was just standing there...he could have easily brought them over. When we were were done, the same grumpy woman dropped the bill at the table without a word said. We had to motion for her to return to take the card and settle the bill. Never again...I've been treated better at McDonald's.

Was on a layover at DFW and Bar Louie was across from my gate. Decided to get an appetizer. Ordered the chips and dip trio to be told they are out of two of the three dips and to pick something else. Ordered an unsweet tea along with spinach and artichoke dip. Tea came and was not even filled up. Thirty minutes later, I was informed they are out of that also. Paid $3.79 for a partial glass of tea.

ZERO STARS. After we sat down and waited over 10 minutes for someone to greet us, as we were ordering my wife mentioned that she was allergic to avocado and could they make sure that her order was avocado free. The server's response was very abrupt: oh everything's cross-contaminated back there if it's a big deal for you, you should eat someplace else. I've never in my lifetime seen a server do that. And if it was actually true I've never seen a restaurant do that in the back of house. This having run restaurants for 10 years. ZERO STARS

Sad to say it was terrible food and the service even worse (except cook and hostess). Server never checked on us. My burger was overcooked and the cheese was not melted and it was cold. When we told the hostess since our server never came to our table she got him. He gave us the bill, said too bad and how were we going to pay. We paid since the manager was not on site. But it was a horrible experience and we will never eat there again. Nor should you.

DO NOT COME HERE TERRIBLE SERVICE AND COMMITTED THEFT. Priscilla was very upset that she had to bring a vegan in our group some avocado toast (was visibly upset when we asked if she could help us out and never came to check on us after), so she took it upon herself to add a $50 tip to the bill instead of the $20 one that I clearly wrote on the receipt (I have photo evidence of the receipt as well as my bank statement). Clearly she needs the money so I’m happy she got it one way or another, just sucks that it’s totally illegal or whatever.

Ordered a spicy Bloody Mary at 9am for a long flight out. The Mary was way too spicy and I requested my server to remake it. I had already thrown all the yummy stuff into the drink - the tomatoes, cucumber, cheese and olive. She just threw out the whole drink - made a new one and poured it into the same glass. For $16 I felt ripped off. Why suggest you remake it if you cannot remake it? It made me feel like I was at a shack that just redid a drink shabbily and did not even bother to give me the stuff that I’m actually paying for. Rude service and I should’ve gone to flying saucer (always a good time) or brewed which looked like it was popping!! Stay woke guys overpriced drinks deserve much better service than my local bar gives me. Do not suggest to remake a drink if you’re going to make a customer feel like they don’t deserve their whole drink. Won’t be going back. And I fly a lot. :)

I spent $19 for one of my favorite sandwiches just for them to give it to me completely dried out and old. The chicken was so dry I could barely swallow. I was only able to get one bite and immediately knew it was old chicken. I asked no goddess sauce because I don’t like it and it has it on both sides of the sandwich. I would like a refund or a remake when I land hopefully I am able too. I planned to eat this on my 5 hour flight and I haven’t eaten all day so I’m beyond disappointed and have to starve until I land.
