Came here for lunch with a friend. Food was perfect as we thought. The vegetarian fajita quesadilla was a large portion along with guacamole and sour cream. Great environment and friendly employees. We will be going there again.
Everything was good, the only downside was the limited parking. The rice and beans, chicken, vegetables and shrimp in the photo were generous portions.👍
Great Mexican place with a warm and inviting atmosphere and friendly servers. We ordered chicken tortilla soup, steak and chicken fajita, kid's taco and pollo Mexican style. The soup was a bit bland to other restaurants. The Best dish was the Mexican style chicken. Great place for a family dinner.
It was a truly great birthday experience. The food was a highlight—pork tamales, a burrito, and a tostada, all perfectly prepared and served piping hot. The margaritas were exceptional, made with just the right amount of tequila to really hit the spot. A delicious surprise birthday dessert topped it all off, and we all had a blast signing a sombrero, creating a fun memento of our night out.
I visited this restaurant after many years. I was not disappointed. The ambiance, service and food were all in great form. The ambiance is festive yet calm. Our server was friendly, professional and gave her best attention to our table of six. Our drinks order came through promptly. The passion fruit Tequila was top notch. Each dish we ordered was well presented and tasty. The flan and churros met the mark as well. We had lovely evening at Celia’s and I suggest you give spot a visit.
Nice Mexican restaurant in the Bay Area. Their margaritas are top notch and they're strong enough to actually taste the liquor in them. Great variety of cocktail too. The salsa provided with chips was fresh, homemade, and authentic. My fajitas were fantastic and tasted real good. The staffs were friendly and ambience was great. The only downside is their parking. Will come back and highly recommend!
Very tasty tacos, would recommend everyone craving some Indian style and fusion tacos to try here
Took my parents here for lunch before taking them to SFO for their flight. It's only 8 min away from SFO (w/out traffic) We loved it. Everything was really delicious. Loved the complimentary chips & salsa! We had soft tacos with shredded beef plate with refried beans & rice, a small burrito with shredded beef, side Spanish omelet with shredded beef ( there's a theme 😂), cup of Albondigas soup and a bowl of Tortilla Soup. The Tortilla soup was so good on a chilly day, it had small chunks of fresh avocado in it and a lovely clear broth. Mom had a cocktail, i "think" it was called a Marina?. She said it was delicious!! Excellent food, great service, great location.
This is the cantina on the peninsula you've been looking for! Plenty of tables, fresh chips and salsa when you sit, Mexican beers on tap. An extensive menu and daily specials make this a step above your favorite neighborhood taqueria.
100% reminds me of the 'ol ChiChi's, in a GOOD way! And its as if there prices never increased from those days. Amazing value for money and really great genuine friendly service. Interior design cheerful. Honestly pretty great place for a big meal at just a few dollars more than what you could pay at Burger King or something, in this post-COVID inflationary era. Yry it!
I have been to Celia's once before, and I got the most basic Tostada in existence. It was good, but I never felt like I gave Celia's a chance to impress. Well, today is my 10th anniversary with my partner so we revisited a place with fond memories. This time I got the Sopitos with chicken and let me tell you, I don't think I've ever had a better dish at a Mexican Restaurant. It was beautifully presented, perfectly cooked and delivered faster than I could have hoped for such a large order. The restaurant itself is well decorated, well lit and invitingly colored. The staff were friendly and quick to assist in all manner of our dining experience. I'll definitely come back again!
Celia’s has exceptional food, service and it’s atmosphere has festive affect. Lively and fun!!!😊 Great customer service by server and host. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Omggg my sister got a little cut. I went in to ask for alcohol wipe, the manager was so nice. She looked really kind. And another guy at the front desk was great too!!! Thank you so much for you help!!
Great reliable Mexican food serving huge portions. Friendly staff and delicious chips and salsa
Sarah, our waitress, was fantastic. She was very attentive and positive. The food was fresh and flavorful. From the manchego whipped potatoes to the filet and bone marrow tacos, the dishes were distinct with just enough creativity in flavor. The amount of food was just right and presentation was perfect. We'll definitely be back as there are many other dishes we'd like to try. Go and book a table. Now.
We went to the Mexican for my father-in-law‘s birthday party and overall was a great experience. Starting with valet, which was quick and easy got inside. Host was friendly and got a seated quickly. We had a party of eight. It looks amazing inside very elegant great ambience. JT and David took good care of us, they took a time explaining to us the menu and we’re very receptive and thorough, they represented the restaurant well in their demeanor and service. As for the food with appetizers, we went with. Tostaditas and Lobster Elote, for entrée I had the salmon, some others had the steak, sea bass, shrimp tacos all were exceptional. We tried several different margaritas. Can’t go wrong with any. We will definitely be back.
The Mexican surpassed our expectations. The service, food, and customer service were stellar. We came for our anniversary and were very pleased with the entire experience. We ordered the appetizer BARBACOA DE ARRACHERA along with the Bistec enchiladas and the bone marrow tacos. It was all delicious. The mixed drinks were also great! Topped it off with the Quatro leches cake 🤤 We look forward to coming back!
This is a great date spot (make sure the guys have the right attire on btw or they get a blazer jacket) or a place to just go with a few friends. The drinks were spot on, the enchiladas dishes were amazing, and our waiter was super attentive. I guess that's to be expected in a place like this, but either way it was a great experience. 100s across the board, with no notes. I would definitely return here.
Such a nice place Music is at a good, volume to where you can have a conversation. Our bartender , Jorge , was very welcoming and his hospitality was on point ! DRINKS WERE AMAZING! I got the “La Nińa fresa” (daddy’s girl) and My friend got the “Pepino perfecto” and wow ! It was so amazing ! They use real fruit ! We had the chips and salsa ! Everything 10/10 ! Will be recommending people to come here And I will be back myself !
Beautiful ambience, incredible flavors, priced on the higher side I recently dined at The Mexican and it was an overall standout experience. The ambience was beautiful, the vibes were great, and the service was truly top tier… from start to finish I felt well taken care of. I ordered the lobster enchiladas, and they were outstanding… stuffed generously with lobster and full of flavor. My lemon drop martini was amazing, and the sleek black martini glass added a classy touch that elevated the experience. But the real showstopper was dessert. I had the TARTA DE NUECES, and it was phenomenal… rich, decadent, and bursting with flavor. I’d honestly return just for that dessert (and the martini). My only gripe is the price point, it’s a bit on the expensive side. However, the food, service, and overall experience do reflect the upscale cost. Would I go back? Absolutely! Especially when I’m in the mood for a refined dining experience with great vibes and unforgettable dessert.
I had dinner with a couple of friends at The Mexican and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The food was outstanding—flavorful, well-prepared, and beautifully presented. Our server was attentive and anticipated our needs without being intrusive. The desserts were the perfect finishing touch to an excellent meal. Overall, it was a wonderful evening with great food, great service, and great company.
We headed to the Mexican for a romantic date night. We started with cocktails. They were delicious and beautully presented. The atmosphere was lively and inviting, but the dim lighting and candlelight created tge perfect environment for romance. They bring chips and an array of salsas to try. I particularly enjoyed the creamy green sauce. I ordered the American wagyu filet from the A La Roca menu. It was perfectly cooked and absolutely amazing. The presentation on the heated rock was impressive. My husband ordered ribeye. Although he enjoyed his meal, he tasted mine and had regrets. I knew he was waiting for me to put my hands up and surrender the rest of my plate (rock actually). We will definitely be back. But next time, I'm sure my husband will order the filet A La Roca.
Came here for a date night on a random Tuesday. Amazing experience from beginning to end. Loved our circle booth looking out to the dining room. The restaurant is beautiful. Make sure to check out the wall of fancy tequilas behind the bar area. I was pleasantly surprised they had a French white wine. We had mostly seafood options, and I’m not much on tequila. It was perfect with our himachi and tuna. Mh got the tres enchiladas which were all great but the crab stood out as the star! Our server, Carlos, was fantastic and took great care of us. I finished the night with a Carajillo for desert and boy do they make a perfect one. 10/10. Recommend.
All of our friends kept telling us to try this out for years. We finally did it and I only regret not doing so sooner. The drinks are all 10/10, I was impressed. Great food, great service, the cigar lounge opens so you don’t leave smelling like one, the bathrooms are decorated so nice, and the ambiance is top tier. I will be returning for sure!
Five stars isn’t enough! This upscale Mexican restaurant in Dallas completely blew me away. From the moment I walked in, everything felt elevated — the ambiance, the service, and especially the food. Every dish was bursting with flavor and creativity, unlike anything I’ve ever had before. But the real showstopper? The dessert. You cannot leave without getting Campechana. Hands down, the best dessert I’ve ever tasted in my life. If you’re looking for a one-of-a-kind dining experience, this place is an absolute must. Sit outside and enjoy the patio and you have the perfect day!
A little pricier for Mexican food, but the meals are quite filling. The venue is quite nice with comfortable chairs and the food has good flavor. They are known for their margaritas which are reasonably priced around $12-13 and their complementary chips and salsa had a large portion. While I didn't get the fajitas, they did smell delicious, as the servers carried steaming trays past our table. We ordered a combo platter and a chalupa. Note that the Happy Hour drink prices are only for ordering at the bar, which one can do and bring back to one's table.
Small parking lot — fits about 6 cars. Otherwise the area has plenty of parking. Love the vibe and the decor of the restaurant. Upon reviewing the menu, the food is on the expensive side for mexican food but the proportions are huge. I had a light breakfast before this and the expresso burrito i ordered was too heavy for me lol Love the place
I am in Dallas for work and this place was within walking distance from my hotel. I was able to sit immediately at the bar without a reservation. Felix was friendly, a good conversationalist and was happy to recommend menu items. I had a Pequeña Belleza (delicious pineapple drink) the Aguachile de Ribeye and later the Hamachi Sashimi. The ribeye was buried under a blanket of cilantro, which I personally didn’t mind, but I could see it turning off some people. The sashimi was very spicy! Again, I love spicy, but I can imagine it being too much for some people (especially fellow gringos 😁). I loved the flight of salsas they provided. They should bottle and sell them. Cool music and a cool vibe. Overall great experience.
Went Celia's for lunch with colleagues. The restaurant is quite big and has a nice rustic feel, though it was surprisingly quiet on a Thursday. It’s been a while since I had Mexican food. The experience started well: the taco chips were served warm and the salsa was spot-on. Our group shared a few bowls of incredibly fresh guacamole, which together with the taco chips, were the highlight of the meal. I decided to be adventurous and tried the Chili Relleno Especial (a mild chili stuffed with cheese and minced beef). It was a huge portion, but unfortunately, there was very little of the minced beef filling. It tasted okay, but i would have preferred something more meaty. Great service and good spot for a group, but I'll try a different entrée next time.
It wasn't the greatest foodie experience as the food was under seasoned. It had the taste as if it was prepared for diabetics. The presentation of the food was good. The staff was superb. Bottom line: great service with subpar seasoned food. I will visit again in hopes this visit was one-off.
Beautiful decor and excellent staff, but the food was under-seasoned and a bit bland.
Walking in felt like I didn't belong til 1 of the host sat us. Server Andres was excellent and his assistant's (chip lady & bus man) very helpful. The food was bland but good size. The atmosphere is beautiful but needs dusting in areas the staff doesn't get. Wish my taco was NOT on top of my enchilada.
We had a table of 9 on a Thursday night. I really liked the vibe of this restaurant, it's very nicely decorated and the hostesses, valet and doorman were quick and efficient. Then came the service, and poorly executed is the best description I can give. The waiter didn't seem to have experience with the menu and couldn't answer questions about it. The drink order was taken, and the drinks are good and strong here. We ordered shareable appetizers and they came out in a timely fashion, but weren't anything to brag about. Then we ordered our mains, again the waiter couldn't answer many questions about it. The mains came out and I had the snapper tacos and I was underwhelmed. Overcooked/chewy fish and an odd flavor. I ate one, then gave one to another guest, then didn't eat the final one. Here's the rub, the waiter never asked how our food tasted. If he had, I would have shared my opinion of my dish with him, but he didn't. Then we went on to the desserts, and they were very good. Overall, for the price, $80 per person, this place was a disappointment and we won't be back.
