Just had lunch and the food was fantastic. Quick service and very friendly staff. Really recommend it. I had the buttermilk chicken eggs benedict on brioche bread.

Second time at this location of GFP and loved it once again! Service was excellent, food was delicious, and everything was reasonably priced. Will be back for sure.

We had nice food there and staff went above and beyond when serving us. They have a lift to get upstairs, the venue is very modern, a nice atmosphere, vegan options available. Great addition for Dunshaughlin!

First time visiting this afternoon, Very impressed. Party of 6, including 2 kids under 6. We felt incredibly welcome from the minute we walked in. Great range of lunch for both adults and kids at very reasonable prices. The food all came out piping hot, full of flavour and with great service. Served by 3 different staff and all treated us with smile and friendly chat. Coffee was nice, very dark roast but that's to my liking so no complaints. All 4 adults got different lunch and everyone was more than happy with the food received. We will definitely be returning very soon and very regularly.

I booked a table for a family of 6 , 3 adults and 3 children this evening December 7th. Unfortunately for us just as we were seated the electricity went out due to storm Darragh..we waited hoping it would come back on in a few minutes but it did not . The manageress offered us children’s meals of chicken bites and chips as fryer was still hot enough. This was so thoughtful and much appreciated by us .iI am sure this would not happen in many restaurants in similar circumstances so a big thank you to staff.

Really nice food, and pleasant staff, I have had Sunday brunch here twice. Cannot say anything negative except the service is a little bit slow, which is fine if you have plenty of time on your hands. But one of the best Sunday brunches I’ve had. UPDATE: I’ve been back a few times since my review and had to update as the service has been brilliant, as was the food as always, updated to 5stars as it’s well deserved

Very friendly and attentive staff, greeted us from the moment we sat in. Nice buzz in the evening in the heart of the village. Food came out right on time, generous portion sizes too.

The food was beyond excellent, the main hostess created a warm food experience with a young waiter Ben attending to every need. I come from a few towns over and I must say this is my favourite restaurant in the tri county area including Dublin. Great food, great value for money nothing but an all-rounder experience even the ambience.

Really lovely atmosphere and great service, not to mention lovely food too. Had a family brunch there today and was just perfect. Just one thing to note to owners. The edge of your steps is quite slippy when wet under foot. Might be no harm on a revisit to the black edging maybe having a sandy surface applied. It may save you a problem in the future for yourself. Just worth taking a look at it. Everything was perfect though. Thank You.

Wonderful lunch at GFP Dunshaughlin at the weekend. Our server, a young man, was one of the best servers I’ve had in a very long time. So attentive, polite and friendly. The food came out within about 10 minutes of ordering and everything was delicious.

Recently had an event organised at the Dunshaughlin restaurant. Staff were very nice and accommodating and food was delicious! Special thank you to Manager Luke who went above and beyond and helped with the item I have misplaced! I’m truly grateful!

We attended here for our daughters Christening party. Alexandra who looked after us was excellent from start to finish. She helped us with preparing the area that morning with balloons and banner and put myself at ease for the day. She was also so attentive when the guests arrived and even took time out to cut the christening cake for us all. We had the set menu which was delicious and catered for everyone’s needs. The Hereford burger was definitely a hit as well as the linguine pasta dish. Alex continued to check in with us to make sure we were happy with how everything was going. The meal was not rushed, the atmosphere was lovely and all our guests thoroughly enjoyed. We will definitely be returning very soon 😊 thank you GFP Dunshaughlin.

Got starter, main course and dessert with the family and we all said it was brilliant. Highly recommend any of the food on the menu. Was delicious

This was my 3rd time in GMP in Dunshaughlin. The first two times I was disappointed by the service but have to say they really improved on that front. The staff were friendly, helpful and attentive and our food and cocktails were so good! Also the kitchen were really accommodating to my food intolerance. Will definitely be back soon.

The value of this place an awful lot of other, supposed to be "up-market" places. The quality of the food AND the staff are way above High Street places. Definitely come here for a very fulfilling meal

Visited for the first time recently with my partner and wasn't disappointed. Delicious food, very friendly and attentive staff, good value and lovely decor throughout. I paid by card and had no change to leave a tip but I will be back again and will make up for it!

Early evening meal. Reasonable menu choice. Calamari, burrata and lamb were all delicious, but chicken fajitas were very bland. Stick toffee pudding to finish was nice. Cocktail and wine choices all very good. Service was very attentive and friendly.

Food is always lovely. Been 3 times now and on each visit the service has been slow, took a few attempts to get to order and anything after mains took multiple requests. That said I'll be back for food quality and freshness, good varied menu, lovely surroundings, city centre vibe in a village location, great to have a lovely restaurant in our midst.

What a surprise, absolutely beautiful decor and the atmosphere was great. The food was really nice, but there was no chicken in the kids chicken curry- she still enjoyed it though, and it was too busy (nye) to flag it with staff. Other than that it was lovely. Really lovely irish waitress served us, lovely guy at front of house too 👍🏻

Had a very enjoyable family lunch recently. The food was very good and the items on the menu that we didn’t order were ones that we would try another time. Portions were generous, the room is nicely decorated and the atmosphere was relaxed. Would recommend.

First of all the service was excellent, the place looked great. The food looked good coming out, but it was only ok when we tasted it. It was just lacking for the price we paid.

Lovely venue and very friendly staff. Had the chef's special - 3 courses for €35 (finishes at 7pm). Avoid the curry - somewhat flavourless. Otherwise, really nice meal and atmosphere.

Quality and quantity has gone down a bit over last few years. Service stayed the same, its slow, forgetful or really blunt if you speak with the manager. Food was better before. The location and vibe inside is great tho.

Good food, friendly staff, but limited choices, especially for vegetarians. Slow with drinks and service in between courses. It was great when the music sound was lowered….a low roof…nice music but it needs to be controlled. It was very difficult to have a family conversation, initially. Staff said the music couldn’t be lowered!? ..but then the manager helped. Watch out for the ‘peanut’ derivative sauce on the prawns …can be serious if you have an allergy! Very clean and well kept rest rooms. Might give it another try.

Lovely looking inside. Most of the staff were lovely . I ordered pancakes with bacon and maple syrup . Pancakes were I bit doughy in the middle and rubbery on the edges, like they had been undercooked and then left sitting. Maybe reheated? Also they put rocket lettuce on the top.. which does not go well with maple syrup and bacon pancakes 🤮Coffee was good though and very pretty place to sit in. My mom invited me to go for lunch with my granny so was nice spot for a quick lunch. Waiting time is a bit much but think it's just because its a popular liked spot.

Lovely place. I had the farmhouse breakfast. Great portion, My wife and daughter had the pancakes, which they said were lovely. The service was excellent, the price was good. I will be back to try a different dish.

The good points; the restaurant is nicely decorated and there is a lively atmosphere. Now for the not so good; We arrived at the restaurant at 14:05 and were shown to our seats immediately, we had made a reservation for two people for 14:00. After waiting for 25 minutes a waitress took our order and the food arrived 30 minutes later. I was not surprised when I found the soup to be cold. If you are planning to drop in to the Gourmet Food Parlour ( Dunshaughlin ) to have something to eat when en route to an appointment, you will need to allow plenty of time to complete your dining experience here. As we were waiting such a long time, we struck up a conversation with the couple at the next table who had visited this place a few times before They advised that service was quite slow usually, but never this bad. Maybe we just visited on a bad day.

My wife and I were enthusiastic about trying the Dunshaughlin branch after enjoying the one in Santry for a few years, but unfortunately, it didn't live up to our expectations. Despite giving them some time to settle in, our recent experience was disappointing. The food was cold, staff appeared disorganised, and my wife's order was incorrect. No one checked on our satisfaction, which meant me to seek assistance at the bar. They corrected the order. It's worth noting that portions seemed smaller, and prices were comparatively high for the area. I hope they can improve in the future as the place is nice and it has loads of potential

We ordered tables for 1 p.m. They knew about us in advance. However, service did not come until 25 minutes later. Starters and main courses were ordered, but the starters were brought to the table after an hour and we didn't get the main course until two hours after our arrival! An incredibly amateur approach to a pre-ordered event. It is a very noisy restaurant. Small portions of food, few vegetables, and the Christmas menu was really nothing special. My first experience a few months ago wasn't good either. We couldn't order food, that's what we were told.

Went for a meal last night and when we arrived we sat down with menus in hand . My son wanted a pizza . We were ready to order to be told that that there are no pizzas left despite 1 full page lists pizzas. Ran out of Fanta too . Starters were nice but the steak and fajitas were very poor . We paid the bill and left . We won’t be back .

Went to go for breakfast and was greeted upon entry to very loud music, completely inappropriate for the surroundings. Can't say anything about the food as didn't get that far

We were celebrating an engagement here last night and we were a table of 9. The service was extremely bad, it was so disappointing, considering the occasion. We had to physically get out of our seats to order a drink. The water and beers were warm and we waited over an hour for the main course. The food was good but pricey. It could have been a much better experience. We won't be back anytime soon.

Seated on arrival, server took our orders, breakfast out in a few minutes so can't have been cooked to order, temperature ok not hot hot. Given tasteless potato cubes instead of potatocakes, bacon and eggs overcook,in fact bacon hard and dry,not even just crispy. Pudding hard so left with just sausages and toast. Lovely coffee but as no-one came near out table to see if we needed anything didn't get to get a second cup, and no excuse that it was busy, as only 2 other tables with the max of 3 dinners at either. Staff to busy chatting at counter or at laptop over in the far corner and customer should not have to walk the length of restaurants to get some service. Over all rate of 2 star and that was for decor of restaurants.

Just had breakfast this morning 26th July 2025 I had bacon eggs benedict. 1 bacon ,eggs fine, placed on one lump of sweet white bread Awful. My wife had French toast .... disgusting She did not eat it. Tea was luke warm. Will not be back for breakfast. Presentation very poor.

Been here a good few times and the food seems to get worse each time. Ordered a triple decker sandwich, not sure what I was served but it was terrible. On the bottom slice most of the bread was missing. One slice of cheese, one small piece of chicken, one tomato (spilt between 3 slices of bread) no butter, no leaves (as per the item description) small bit of sauce. Won’t be back. For €15.50 I’d expect a lot more.
