Great addition to the area! We tried 3 burritos (Diablo hot, Cali supreme, and pollo asada) as well as a fish taco plate. Everything was fresh and good quality ingredients. We got friendly and helpful service on the phone and in person. Looking forward to coming back to try the rest of the menu soon.

The food was magnificent, ordered a taco salad and it's probably the best in its variants. Edgar, the man that served me and my friend is a very kind heart and made the restaurant feel like home. The atmosphere feels clean and fits in restaurant that you're expecting to see out in the seaport. Definitely coming back here again and if you need to get an authentic mexican meal, yoh should definitely come here.

I went today January 1st 2025 and was the best Mexican food in El Cajon I have ever try, the ladies at the front were so lovely, good service, good atmosphere to eat, everything seems so clean, organized and the food was so fresh. Hands down to this restaurant as someone who is from Tijuana and I know about Mexican food, this is saaame quality 10/10

Staff is polite, fast service, and good Mexican food. They serve more than burritos ! 🌯 The place is very clean and has the option for sit down, employees will bring the food to your table. I ordered the Baja Burrito and the classic breakfast burrito. They serve costumers free house-made chips and a selection of salsa. The Baja burrito was better than I expected, the fish was crunchy and flavorful. I gave this place 4 stars for “food” because the breakfast burrito wasn’t it, it was decent but it lacked flavor. Will come back and try the rest of the menu items !

Loved this beautiful and modern spot. The service was fast, friendly and they provided a complimentary bag of chips with our order. We had 4 breakfast burritos, they were large, fresh and delicious.

Great new, small place! So many burrito options and they use great ingredients, not cheap garbage. The shrimp in the burrtio were legit. The enchilada plate was great and so many hot and mild sauces to choose from. Staff was helpful and friendly.

Excellent Poblano burrito and Taco/Enchilada combo plate! Who does a Poblano burrito? BURRITO CITY! Salsa's were fresh and great tasting, they even have a pineapple salsa that was excellent as well! Clean restaurant and good food!

From the outside the signage and lights definitely draw your attention and then when you walk inside you definitely feel it and see it… all the time and energy that went to getting this place open up and then you taste the food and maaaaaaaaaan!! Those Surf N Turf fries made my mouth water before and after I finished them 😂 how do you make the carne asada and the shrimp taste so good together??!?!??!! Sometimes with the combo one or the other is lacking but not here!! I will be back to tear them up again and again!! Enrique and his wife and the whole staff were super cool and welcoming. TBH you would think this place is a franchise the way it is so well executed but to see someone local do it to this level makes it just that much more better!! do yourself a favor and eat here!

First, you find lots of easy parking in the shopping center. Then you're greeted by super nice staff and free chips with one of the best salsa bars in East County. Once you eat your weight in chips and salsa, the burritos come, and they are all delicious! And if you can still breathe, you should finish with their perfectly hot churros. Secret is out, this place is amazing!!!

This was a great bean and cheese burrito. Eans were creamy, so was the cheese. Tortilla was perfect mix of chewy and crispy, while holding in the contents of the burrito. To me, a 5 star bean and cheese burrito needs nothing to make it stellar. This was almost there, matter of fact, I wish I could've given it 4 1/2 stars. It was really good, but needed a little bit of salsa to push the flavor to the top. Portion was ok for $8.50 but not huge. Salsas are self serve with about 7 choices. Very quick service. Unreasonably beautiful cashier for a taco shop. Sorry ladies, I'm just a guy.

Took a chance on this spot and super glad we did. The store was very clean and the service was prompt and every thing was fresh. The CA burrito was a good size not greasy at all and the meat was delicious. The rolled tacos were fresh, not greasy, and FILLED with beef. The shrimp taco was delicious but a little too much chipotle sauce. CA fries were fresh and also not greasy. Salsa was ok. In the future, I'd combine the orange with the red. Affordable and very good. Will definitely be back.

Holy Cow! This place did not disappoint. Got a burrito with two mini tacos... and I'm 6'3", won't say my weight, and it was way more than I could handle... but it was delicious 😋! You have to stop by if you are ever in El Cajon.

We found our favorite burrito spot! We’ve been there a bunch of times now and seriously….Best salsa variety, everyone who’s served was super nice and recommendations were beyond delicious. You definitely get what you pay for with quality of a huge burrito, freshness and kindness from staff. Love this place 🙌🏼

Service - I’ve read the previous reviews mention that service was bad and orders were not correct. I’ve eaten here three times now and have not experienced bad service or any incorrect orders. The service was nothing to praise but it was just a simple take my order and get me my food with a welcoming. Cost - The cost is a little bit less than average to average. The big thing for me is the burrito sizes are large. They’re more long than bigger in width but they’re filled with whatever you order. They also give you a free side of tortilla chips on the side which is a great addition. Food - I’ve tried a breakfast burrito, a steak and bacon burrito and the hot Cheeto burrito. The quality is great, meat is juicy and flavorful. The bacon came out crispy in my breakfast burrito but not too overcooked. The hot Cheetos burrito was done in a way where the chips don’t get too soggy and this makes for a great experience. The side salsa bar has a great selection of salsa and toppings to add to your burrito at no additional cost and all have great flavors. The tortillas have a great taste and the burritos themselves are not super greasy on the outside but have plenty of sauce on the inside. Quick Summary - The food honestly just hits the spot and especially for the price and free chips with the selections at the salsa bar. Can’t go wrong here and haven’t had any service/wrong order issues.

We love this place, the food is delicious or go to the car of the fries and roll tacos however, tonight I felt like I wanted to have a ceviche tostada (more like tomato ceviche) unfortunately it’s not I was hoping. I will have to remember not to order that here.

I got a steak&egg burrito about an hour ago, everything was good and delicious until I found that there is some sharp plastic parts inside of the burrito. I was almost gonna be hospitalized.

So my husband and I go here about twice a month and never really had an issue we loved this place. Our most recent visit we called ahead and planned on eating there. They told us 10 mins and the food will be ready. We got there in about 20 mins and the food was not ready due to an Uber order... okay no problem! We got our salsas and sat down and the food came out really fast. The fries that we ordered were noticeably under cook. When we would bite into them they were still hard. So I went up to the counter to see if they can remake them and the lady just laughed and said yea. Okay. Whatever I dont usually complain I know its annoying but the fries were not cooked throughly. So we are waiting and they are chit chatting away in Spanish about the complaint. My husband looks up and sees the chef staring at him. The chef proceeded to stare at him even when we got the food back and as we left. We took it to go and I dont believe we will be coming back. If the food is I under cooked then it should be fixed. Do not make the customer uncomfortable about it like he was ready fight for complaining. This was our favorite spot but if this was too big of a problem then we will not be coming back. This was the most disrespectful service I have ever had in my life.

BEans were spoiled , called and just to me to it to them but the girl on the phone disregarded. Instead she went on about how her lunch was great so she doesn’t understand. Not until I mentioned this review id write did she offer a refund or another burrito. Mind you it was a veg burrito, and they’re guac is always runny like they spit in it Birria quesadilla hit or miss Tho God for Fail/Safes

I ordered from Banda for the first time. I just wanted to try something new, and their menu looked HELLA solid. They were also running a promo for a free breakfast burrito so I figured hey, why not? I ordered the "El Bandacoa Combo" with chips and queso, and the "Nacho Abuela's Nachos." To start with: the portion for the nachos was extremely small, given the price. I also did not receive my order of chips alongside my burrito, just the queso. The box the chips came in wasn't even 1/4 of the way full and looked absolutely nothing like its advertised picture / portion. The barbacoa in the burrito was dry and bland. It was extremely tastless. I hate to say this because I dislike the joint, but even something like Chipotle has better barbacoa. Not to mention: The wait time. Yep, here it is. Maybe not the icing on the cake, but some form of topper. I put my order in, and it took an hour and a half to get out. An hour and a half for extremely underwhelming and overpriced food. So, with a heavy heart and empty stomach, I give this 1 star review. If you want a better burrito, you'll very unironically find it at chipotle. Or if you want more authentic mexican food, go to Silva's in El Cajon. This place isn't worth the investment of time and, in the ice soup economy, this isn't worth the money either.
