We came here for our honey moon from Italy! Beautiful and amazig place! Very friendly, good beers and burgers! If you go to Austin you must to visit that place!

Looks like a good place. I saw nothing as to it being a biker bar. What was that all about? Looked like a neighborhood bar with local patrons. Also looked like a good sports bar with lots of TV's. Prices were reasonable. I'll go back next time Im headed that way.

Love this smoking allowed bar. Lit up a cigar and meet some nice, friendly folks. They have a "got to eat when you drink" rule, so they bring you a couple of little meatballs with each beer. I didn't mind it at all.

The staff are so amazing and make you feel important. Drinks are Amazing! Atmosphere is very calm and relaxed.

Amazing but did not really like the mixed drink I order a 151 punch and I couldn't even drink it🤮. They said the bartender guy was new. Still rated it 5 stars because I didn't really go to drink or get drunk...lol. but the socialize and atmosphere was everything and the waiter was awesome. Love it

Friendly staff. They recognize me and call me by name every time I'm there. I've been using crutches for quite a while and when they see me headed up the sidewalk they meet me at the door to open for me! AND if they are helping a customer and can't leave the bar then another customer always opens the door for me! Kinda restores your faith in people! Place is clean, regular and handicap accessible restrooms available, parking lot clean and they have easy access to get into the bar for wheelchairs and crutches. Kinda makes me feel like I'm hanging with friends in their living room! Go see for your self. Oh yea I'm a huge football fan and you can see the games from one of the many, many tvs hanging up all over Bob's.All sports all year!. And pool tables. And Thursday night is karaoke. See you there

The tavern can get a bit smokey at times if that kinda stuff bothers you. Friendly staff. Place can get busy at times. Nice bar to sit at. Give it a try.

Come here all the time. One of my favorite bars! Computer gambling, great beer selection and prices. There are pool tables and clean restrooms. You can sit outside and smoke or you can smoke inside. Plenty of parking and jukebox and karaoke.

I’m a smoker and you can smoke in this bar but they do need better ventilation, smoke was a little crazy for a early Friday afternoon. Drinks are great, love the decor. Nice outside area infront to sit outside .

The staff is so friendly and immediately learn your name. They always greet me when I arrive, check if I need something periodically and acknowledge me when I'm leaving. I love it there and would recommend it if you are looking for a a nice friendly place to hang out If you go once, you will go back!

If I'm ever back in Taylor, Texas I'll stop in at Bob's for a cold beer.

Want sit down with some level headed country folk with an ice cold beer playing? Bob's is the place to go. Fast service, decent food (could be better)and great people.

Decant place, wait staff, really fulfilled their names of waiters. I sat and waited for almost ten minutes until someone took my order. Once placed, the staff was cordial and very attentive. I live in the area but not likely to visit again. It's worth a stop though.

Friendly, ok drinks, no brandy, croud kept to themselves not crazy to go places where people can smoke inside but cool though. No luck to one friend on the machines :/

There should be no smoking in this bar or they need a good ventilation system that filters out the smoke. Haven't won anything there since Super Bowl so I'm gonna slack off playing there

Great beer selection and very friendly bartenders. We loved that there are pool and a shuffle board tables! The major downside was that they allow smoking inside so it was very smoky and not so great to breathe in. Not sure we'll be back unless they change that factor.

On edge of town, don't like smoking bars, slammed my beer and got out. But only place in town to watch football, on a Saturday night! Can you help be it? Dang shame 😑 beers were cold and good though....

It's a smoking bar. So if... that's what you enjoy it's a decent spot to drink. If not then don't go here? *shrug*

It’s a great place to watch sporting events. BUT the smoke is so thick you could cut it with a knife. Not a good place for a non smoker.

To what i physically witnessed honestly the place cut off drinks after 12:00am. It was my first time in Elgin and to be honest that will be my last time there. Hospitality was not up to standards for a Saturday night.

Recommend avoiding this place. They have a sign posted at the door imposing unlawful restrictions for people who require service animals. They have made up their own rules in violation of the Americans with disabilities act requiring people with breeds that they have determined to be dangerous to be muzzled. They also state that you may not let anyone pet your dog or watch your dog while you use the restroom regardless of their restrooms being less than service animal friendly. I do not doubt that their bigotry is probably based off of problems they've had in the past but it certainly does not excuse it.
