I sooooo love this Ennis TX Cotton Patch before becoming a local I remember over 11 yrs ago when open we drove miles to visit and I met Maria, you are simply the best you’ve been here since opening and yet each time I see you doing what you do best you stay consistent. I’m not sure why you haven’t been promoted maybe you just love people Maria and always professional and courteous and it shows. Please note ask for Maria each time you visit. Will, young man the newest and best chef in the kitchen I know you been here a short while but young man your food is ALWAYS on point. You two are my favorite and it may seem you are not noticed , I see you and your efforts do not go unappreciated. You both make my day. Maria provided me with swift and warm customer service. She ensured my glass was always full and checked that the cook prepared my meal properly. She attended to me with condiments and pleasantries, always accompanied by a professional and welcoming smile. Maria was very attentive and alert to my presence and needs throughout my visit.

I stop by this resturant for the fisrt time when I was driving back to Houston after setting up my shelf unit for the State Fair of Texas Go Texan Store. We had an awesome waitress Taylor she was so friendly, very attentive and informative about the food and especially the TEA option which was important to us as we own a tea company. Had the best service tonight from Cotton Patch Cafe thanks to Rebecca! She made sure we were happy with our meals and then some. From sitting down to ordering (and ordering again), and even moving an entire booth to help me get my AirPod, she made it funny without making it weird. Wonderful place to eat. We get delivery every time and everyone is so nice. The food is usually always so good. We did have one issue one time, but the store went above and beyond to correct it and I truly have to say this is one of the best restaurants around. The assistant manager is fantastic and the whole staff is so kind.

I had to try the Angus Beef Triple Chesse Bacon Cheeseburger this time & was skeptical if this burger would fill me up until I bit into it & realized there's no way the patty is a 1/4 pound. The menu only says Angus Beef but I am sure it's 1/2 pound so I can't even believe I finished it. Only compliant is really a suggestion for the potato bun to be just a slightly bigger bc the patty was protruding all around. Regardless, $13 worth well spent.... and the staff was nice and courteous per usual. Looking forward to trying something new next time! ~CCG

Last night we dined in with Alazia who is a great server very nice and kept letting us know she was keeping an eye out for our food since there was a wait time due to it being so busy. Also the manager I believe his name was Nick was so very helpful he greeted us and sat us down at our table and came and checked on us a couple of times very nice man with a funny sense of humor. Great service ! We will be dining here again !

Good comforting food. The waiter seemed a bit nervous and wasn't sure what he was doing. He asked us 3 times what were we ordering.. Food took more than 20 minutes and the restaurant wasn't crowded. Nonetheless we did enjoy our meals once they arrived.

We have been to this location on multiple occasions. Food is always great, service is great for friendliness and speed. The reason I gave it a 3 star...why are these servers always in such a rush. They come back so quickly less than 2 minutes to place our order after we sit down even when we ask for some time to decide. Ask for refills, nope forget about it. Please respectfully ask your patrons before you attempt to take their plates. Another issue, every server and manager asks questions when our mouths of full. If we didn't answer the first two questions, it would be difficult to answer the next several questions. It is tacky. Terrible experience during my visit here on 3/11/25. Came in sat at the bar.. I immediately knew i was in trouble when the 2 cooks quickly noticed me and started smirking.. i placed my order started with the chips and queso at the same time i placed order for my entree. 20min go by and my queso is not ready. Another 10min go by and still not ready.. now i understand theres only 2 cooks so i totally get it.. place was fairly busy but not completely swamped.. so finally i het my queso around 40min later… as i am eating my chips i noticed all the commotion going on .. plates are coming back to the kitchen for being messy or not cooked all the way, waiters are being ugly making rude comments about customers asking for silverware.. (the hispanic young lady) , finally my chop makes it to me about 1hr later . Looks nice and tasty I am starving ready to eat just to find out it was still raw.. i was extremely disappointed i immediately called the lady manager and she too noticed how my chop was not cooked all the way.. she immediately sent it back.. the cook grabbed it like it was a piece of trash and threw it on the grill right in front of me.. it cooked for another 5min and brought it back out. And guess what.? It was still raw! Of course i didnt eat it .. i paid my tab and left. You guys need to either step up or step off. This service was complete garbage..! I feel cheated out of $29 . You guys better hope i dont get sick..
