Sano Food is a highly-rated Fort Lauderdale restaurant known for its delicious and healthy Venezuelan-inspired cuisine. Customers rave about the fresh ingredients, vegan/gluten-free options, and friendly service. The arepas and seafood spaghetti squash are particularly popular.
Tip: Try the arepas or the seafood spaghetti squash. The coconut milk coffee is also a favorite. Be aware that the space is small.
Thank you, Katherine, for your kind attention and service. Everything was super delicious, and the coconut milk coffee was my favorite. I really appreciate that this place takes suggestions with such a good attitude and reception.
The best Venezuelan empanadas in town. We order them for all occasions. Made fresh and absolutely delicious.
Great customer service. The waiter was very attentive and explain everything on the menu. They also let us know what they have for the lunch specials. The place itself is kind of small tho. The waiter was slow to bring our water but the food pretty fast after we ordered them. They have a great selection of healthy food. You can tell that they make everything from scratch and they are all very fresh. Definitely will be back to try other items on the menu next time.
We were looking for a healthy bite to eat and this place didn’t disappoint 😀 Gabriela was our server! She was friendly, efficient and willing to wait for google translate to do its magic! Now for the food I had the arepas salmon’ ahumada especial with yucca It was yummy and filling! Xtin had the empanada de queso and carne mechada, and Camarones Think we liked all three!!!! To our surprise the chicha was scrumptious and big enough to share :) Def will be back! Muy bueno!!!!
If you’re looking for the best healthy food in Weston, Sano Food is a must! The service is amazing, and they offer great lunch deals every day. Here I am enjoying my matcha and taking a Spaiki to go — a delicious sparkling electrolyte drink I discovered here!
I gave Sano Food Weston 5 out of 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ woo-hoo! Pros: • Delicious healthy options that won't make you feel like a rabbit 🐰 • Massive menu, you'll need a map to navigate. (There's something for everyone) • Friendly staff • Open late (for dinner) • Delicious food I had the zucchini pasta with chicken, steamed broccoli, and pesto sauce! Cons: None! Sano Foods Weston is a "must check out" for those health-conscious or dietary individuals who keep trying "healthy food spots" that don't actually have healthier foods... Follow me on Google for more ❤️
I love the food! Delicious and healthy. Tried a creamy nut-based, dairy-free salmon and shrimp in a squash dish. It was amazing! So filling, I was able to eat it over two meals. Their breakfast is also amazing, as well as their arepas
I had a fantastic experience at the Sani Food restaurant! The service was impeccable, and the variety of Venezuelan dishes on their menu was truly impressive. Despite the small space, the food was outstanding, and I left feeling satisfied and energized. This spot has become my go-to for flavorful, nutritious meals from Venezuela.
This place is just our gym’s FAVORITE! Food is healthy and GOOD!! From appetizers to main courses and desserts! Protein smoothies! EVERYTHING is just awesome! 100% recommended! Roselyn and Jose did an amazing job!
If you are looking to eat healthy and the greatest part “Delicious” this place is your place. I discovered yesterday and I’m so glad to share my review. I’m sharing a photo from my delicious lunch also my tasty dessert . The service of all its personnel was wonderful, Daniela was my waitress and the other girls were very kind as well. I recommend this place 100%🥙🥗
The waitress was extremely polite, she was very patient with my two elderly and even allowed me to eat inside with my dog because outside was too hot for us. The place is just kind of pricey for a brunch though but the food was good and natural orange juice.
Really nice place and the food excellent and very yummy! Adriana y Mariesca son muy amables!

Fresh food that is delicious and great for people that have gluten issues. They have vegan options as well..I was so happy to see I could eat some of the foods I love it taste great and its healthy. It's a must try..
I just had the most amazing salmon “pasta“ (spaghetti squash with the cashew-based Alfredo dressing, and avocado ricotta arepa. This is probably the best salmon pasta I’ve ever had. The salmon was so flavorful and well cooked, as was the squash and sauce. Everything about this place was wonderful, the presentation, ambience, service by Andrea who was super patient with me and happily gave wonderful recommendations, and of course the food! Can’t wait to come back!
We love this place and the food is so good and yummy! Roselyn and Adriana are the best and give great recommendations!
Amazing staff and delicious food! A to-go place when you have a healthy lifestyle! Come here every week and Roselyn treat us amazing! Thank you! We try every week something different and we love it all!!
Loved the food and customer service! Everything was top notch! So glad there is a great place for vegan options!
Amazing food, amazing people. Please don't pass them up. I have Celiac Disease and other eating issues and this quaint, happy 😁 place is perfect! Gluten free and vegan. And I can't say enough about the staff and how caring they are and aim to please! Muchas gracias.
Awesome food!!! Lorena was so nice and made sure everything was going well throughout the restaurant. 10/10 would definitely come again!!!!
Rosalin served us, and the food was delicious! The Cauliflower pizza tasted just like normal crust. Definitley try this place out.
the house salad was spectacular. the service 10/10, if you have the opportunity to go ask Gabi to attend you. she is super friendly!
The food was excellent; fist time I experience a different take on healthy venezuelan food. The chica, the yuca, plaintain and whole wheat arepas/tequeños are amazing.
I was pleasantly surprised, their menu is healthy and the combination of food options are delicious. They are very nice and have an extensive menu. If you’re eating healthy, Keto, whole 30, whatever your diet, you will eat and it will taste good.
Love the food, the service, and most importantly the people. Rose, Adriana and Lorena took their time to cater to the needs of every customer. Everything is absolutely delicious and most importantly—healthy! THANKS!!
Excellent, fresh vivid and delicious. The servers, Jose, Genesis and Fabiola are generous and knowledgeable of all healthy foods in their menu. Will come again and seat in the back by the lake view.
They really understand health freaks. lol. Love how they can customize anything. They also have great lunch specials with a soup ,2 sides and protein for 12 or 13$. Not sure if their fish or chicken is organic or grass fed, I doubt it. That was the only thing I think they could improve upon and maybe also chairs that are a little more comfortable.
I loved the all the food and the customer service was great. I went to the Weston store and my waiters Maira and Wendy were so friendly. I truly recommend this place.
Awesome service! Staff is very kind and nice, food came out fast and delicious! Highly recommended place!
I went to Sano Food for the first time today and I have to say I was amazed with the food. I ordered the tequeños made with yuca flour, platano and whole wheat, as well as, a cauliflower pizza with prosciutto. The taste was phenomenal and I can’t believe it’s all made with natural and fresh ingredients. I will definitely come back to this place!
This is the best restaurant ever ! I live in Tampa and come here all the time , love the food the service and the girls work in SANO Food ! Recommend it 💯 !!! Thank you for the delicious food ,
Excellent food!!! Nice nice place! My first time there and I will return for sure. Maria was great!!
Juliana was our waitress. The food is absolutely amazing, the place has an awesome atmosphere, and the service is impeccable!!! The quality of the food and the variety surprised me in such a positive way!! Recommend Sano Food Weston 100%
After a couple of weeks, the manager reached out to me while I was having lunch and she apologized about my experience the last time. As I mentioned in that review I’m a big fan of this restaurant, and I will continue enjoying the food and the experience. I was gladly surprised about the service that we experienced today I was able to see how my review helped them to continue improving. Still a big fan.
First time at this restaurant, I went because of the high reviews, and it did not disappoint! The food was delicious, and the service from Adriana R and the rest of the staff was excellent! Will definitely come again!
Food is always good and service is outstanding. I come here all the time, but this time Gabriela took care of us and she made my visit so outstanding that I had to share it. Definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for a healthy meal and a great service.
Extremely friendly staff, amazing food tasty and most importantly healthy. Shout out to Adriana who is one of the best employees detailed oriented and auperior customer service. Thank you for feeding me every week.
Great customer service, amazing food!!!. Lorena and Juliana made me feel really special. I have been vegetarian my whole life, I have struggled to find good healthy places with food options for me, but today I have found a my favorite spot to enjoy a healthy meal. Definitely, I recommend this place to anyone.
First time going with my girlfriend, and apart from the great service of Vanesa and Wendy and the manager Lorena , great food!! I had the spicy tuna salad , the smokey salmon toast! Great choices , definitely coming back!!!!!! Overall 10/10
Today was my first visit to this restaurant, I ordered the Acai Bowl and it was delicious and refreshing. The fruits were fresh, I enjoyed it very much and will be back many more times during the hot South Florida summer. Keep up the good quality, it makes a difference!!!
Nice restaurant to eat Latin food! I loved that they have so many options and also healthy choices. Migdalys was super nice and kind serving us. The service was wonderful.
We have always had a great time eating delicious food from a well planed menu. The kitchen’s staff is always creating new healthy recipes. Waitresses (Adriana, and the others) are committed to a good service, and there’re very friendly.
I go to sano food weston at least 2 or 3 times every week sometimes even more. I have to say the food is great and customer service is amazing. Adriana and Daniela are the best. Always with good attitude even when they are overwhelmed by rush hours they are smiling and taking really good care of customers. I have to say as long as Sano food keeps making delicious dishes and having friendly staff like these two girls I won't stop going there every week. 👍🏼
Found this jewel of a place at the plaza where our office is. Amazing restaurant! Food is very healthy and service is great. Everybody is so friendly and accommodating. We have been coming for lunch for 3 years and will keep coming back!
The food at Sano Foods is SO GOOD! Everything is made fresh, very well seasoned and delicious! Plus, the service is really good and the dining room and outdoor seating are super clean and pleasant. Love this place!
We sat outside in the back patio area with the view of the lake for lunch. It was so nice! Really good food, I'm obsessed with the marquesa we bought and took home for later.
Amazing place! I’m not a fan of going out for “healthy food”, I usually do that at home but this place surprised me. The Irenita salad and the tequeños with that green sauce are heaven. Service was also fabulous, Alexandra was incredibly helpful and sweet. Had an amazing lunch!
Very nice food and presentation. The place was clean and tidy. The customer service is very respectful. Specially our waiter Juliana who was very clear recommending us our main dishes. 100% recommended
Sano Food is a wonderful place to meet, eat and enjoy the nature of the view of the lake and the scenery. The personnel is very attentive and the menu offers many options. Every time we come we have a great time.
Went in for the first time today. What I like the most is when you eat their delicious food, it doesn't leave you feeling slow and sluggish. It isn't greasy And heavy. I would eat breakfast here everyday if I could
I absolutely love this place. The food was great and the service was on point! Daniela was my server and she took great care of us. Would definitely recommend.
Went to Sano Food in Weston today with my wife. We’ve been traveling thus eating out a lot and just getting sick of all the heavy food we were eating, so we decided to try Sano’s because it advertised healthy food options. We absolutely loved it there. We both had the Sano Food salad and we split the Nachos. The food was delicious and we felt great after we ate it, not sick and full. It was the perfect amount. We also had the juice drink option and they were fabulous as well. And the prices were very reasonable. We highly recommend Sano for anyone looking for a healthier, and yet, delicious option. And the Service and atmosphere was also very good.
Sano Food is the best place in Weston for healthy, delicious food. Everything is fresh, flavorful, and made with care. Great service, clean vibes, and meals that leave you feeling good. Highly recommend
Rosaly and Maria are the best ! The food is excellent I often come for lunch from my office. The lunches are varied and lots of choices. They are busy but the service is still friendly and good. Plus they have a lot of healthy food and dessert options. Highly recommended
Had a very tasty Venezuelan breakfast with coffee. Staff was nice and friendly. Ambience was nice on the water. Will recommend
I have already provided some feedback as part of sabor venezolano. Sano Food. Is a great place. We discovered it by chance. The place is nice, tidy and cosy. The options are great, varied and delicious. And there is a good variety for a diverse group. The healthy arepas and alternatives are a fresh air to the normally ultra processed and extremely unhealthy diet available in more commonly used n other establishments. This place is nice because in the same restaurant you have very healthy alternatives and regular (less healthy but equally delicious) alternatives. Staff is great. Our waitress was Roseline (apologies if the spelling is incorrect) and she was an absolute star. We found this place by accident while visiting friends. And as soon as we could we went back again. No disappointment on either occasion. Is a good place for a quick bite or a more involved lunch/dinner/breakfast Is not luxurious or particularly fancy but is right for many situations. Thank you for the food.
Their arepas are soooo good, I loved this place and the variety of dishes. Definitely a good spot if you have dietary restrictions (I have due to gastritis) but still like to enjoy going out and having some good food that won't make you feel sick later😊
Im obsessed with this healthy restaurant! Their dishes are not only nutritious and flavorful, but also visually appealing. The service is top-notch, making it the perfect spot for a quick bite or a relaxed dinner. Highly recommend!
Food was great! Service excellent. Estefani and Roselin were great. We went with our two sons and our 2 year old was not having it, Roselin did everything she could to make him happy, from toys to a trip to the back of the kitchen. I would definitely come back :)
Looking for the Healthier option and found this Spot! Greeted right away and sat promptly. We weren’t familiar with the menu so the waitress was nice a gave us the run down and what combinations worked best. Between the food and drink I was not disappointed. The size of each plate are great. If coming for a snack you can order one. But the cauliflower pizza was delish. Spaghetti squash and sauce was delicious. Definitely a great spot.
Best healthy restaurant I’ve tried in South Florida! I got the Seafood spaghetti squash in alfredo sauce (made with cashews) and it was absolutely delicious! The coconut lemonade was amazing! And 5 stars for the vegan carrot cake! Service was also great! Truly recommend this place!
Food - I ordered coffee and waffle. Coffee was one of the absolute best I have ever had. It was just perfect . A balance of strong and smooth . It was so good, I ended up ordering another cup. Waffles were healthy - made of Quinoa and topped with fruits and nuts. I have been trying to stick to healthy food but easily get tempted by unhealthy food. This waffle seemed a really great middle ground. Seemingly unhealthy food made with healthy ingredients- so I didn’t feel guilty after eating it Service- the staff was really friendly and cheerful. Loved it Ambiance - we at on patio, which has a view of a water body full of crocodiles and turtles . And the water body is surrounded by palm trees. Loved this view/ enjoyed sporting turtles and baby crocodiles while having a great coffee
This restaurant is such a gem! The food was amazing, everything super fresh and tasty. The vibe is chill and the staff is really friendly. Definitely coming back soon! Thank you Migdalis for an amazing service.
Sano Food Weston is one of my favorite healthy brunch spots! Everything was fresh, beautifully plated, and full of flavor. We ordered the omelet with toast, arepas/sandwiches, and topped it off with the cutest espresso served in the most adorable floral cups — such a charming touch! The green smoothie was refreshing and delicious, and you can truly taste the quality ingredients in every bite. The atmosphere is bright and relaxing, especially sitting by the water — it made our brunch feel even more special. If you’re looking for wholesome, flavorful food in a peaceful setting, this is the place. Healthy, satisfying, and always a great experience. We’ll definitely be back! 💚✨

The setup at this kitchen and market is similar to another I recently visited nearby. You walk in and it looks small, but down the hall you find more seating in the rear and outside by the lake. Not only is the service phenomenal--to where the regulars are greeted by their first name--but the food is healthy, well-seasoned & prepared, and they serve generous portions. I ordered a chicken omelet, a plantain arepa and a house-made detox water. Oh so good! Right before I left, I caught sight of some baked goods. When their brownies called for me, I couldn't be rude and ignore them. I bought a brownie to go which I was told is made from black beans. You would never in a million years know it! It tasted just like a piece of naked chocolate cake (without the frosting). Sano's prices go hand in hand with the exclusive city they do business in, but so worth it. I spent $40, including gratuity and will make it a point to return!
I has the yuca based arepa with ricotta and avocado. It was good, may have been lacking slightly in the flavour department. My wife had a large salad with pistachio, mozzarella and prosciutto. It was a big portion and was very tasty. We shared a carrot cake for dessert - highly recommend. Would definitely return to try more of the menu.
We startes off with two empanadas: chicken and cheese. The plantain dough in the cheese empanada was fantastic, very good flavor, sweet and salty. We ordered two Reina Pepiada Arepas with ripe plantain dough as well, and they were very good. However, they lacked flavor in terms of salt and pepper. Maybe that's what it's sacrificed to serve very healthy food. The service was very good, but a bit slow in terms of speed.
I was very impressed by Sano Food’s menu! Great variety of healthy options, combining with Venezuelan dishes and ingredients. I had the 4-cheese white omelette with yucca arepa that you can see in the picture. Taste was good. The location is also nice, had a good experience dining in with nice decor and good music. Their fruit juices and “batidos” are very good as well, all done with fresh fruit when you order them. Service was really good! When I gave them feedback about the arepa (I was expecting it to be “crunchy” per the server’s description when I ordered my breakfast, and the arepa ended up being on the softer side), they gave me a free americano! Which was delicious, by the way. Well done, great way of reacting to/leveraging customers’ feedback.

Love their reina pepiadas on a plantain arepa. Their location is great and the place is clean and modern. Service could improve as sometimes the ladies out front are too serious and seem upset. The highlight would be that their food is fresh and tasty, they can be a bit overpriced for an everyday customer, though.
food very well done! and very tasty! Very good experience! I'll be back soon A tip: when ordering the sweet potato waffle, ask to add a syrup or an extra dulce de leche, because only the fruits and the waffle dough are a little dry if you eat it only without some syrup! So go and enjoy! The experience of the place and the food on the menu is really worth it. I'll be back soon
I was just there today and ordered 2 juices, then I saw them making the juice when they added water to it. The juices were 50% water and just tasted bland. Each juice costs $8.50. It a total rip off. I will never go to this place again. Update on February 17, 2021. Their marketing manager reached out to me and offer a free juice on my next visit plus 10% discount on my next order.
I went to Sano Food for the first time, and the food was good, We paid around 30 dollars. But in the end, I saw a Marquesas and bought 2 WOW! I was surprised with the price I paid 29 dollars and they were small size. I mean they were the same as what we paid for the whole food we ate. Honestly, the price of those marquesas seemed exaggerated to me and you can eat them in two bites. Overpriced for me.
This place frustrates me! The food is good but the customer service is so bad that it makes me not want to eat here. Whenever I call they are rude and do not speak English, nor do they have anyone on staff that does speak English. The worst part is they give you almost an attitude for having that as an expectation. Once you over come the language barrier, they customer service in general is severely lacking. Its very disappointing because it could be a nice option for a healthy meal.
Sooo... very disappointed with this restaurant. 1. The service was very poor. They took an hour to take care of us and there were only 2 servers, for the prices they have they should hire more people. The servers where fixing a screen and forgot about us. 2. Expensive, I know it’s supposed to be healthy but you are using more plant based products which are generally cheaper, so why are you charging 9$ for an Arepa? 3. The restaurant inside is very crowded, if you charge so much why don’t you move to a more open location? Overall the food was good but it was too expensive for what they sell, bad service and crowded. I am not coming back I just rather go to like El Arepaso or just make my own yuca arepa at home. Thanks
Very poor on taste, I was lost in a huge list of attempts of healthy dishes. Very disappointed of the highly-priced bowl of lettuce that I was sold as “ top notch” salad. The only highlight was the waitress’s attitude! Never coming back!
I went to this place with really high expectations!! Unfortunately, it was disappointing. We were the first customers in the place, the server was really nice, but a few minutes later another server took the “control” and was a mess. The food came 45 minutes later, it was not the food that we ordered, it came cold and the drinks came after the food. It means 55 minutes to bring a drink. Ah yes! They charged the service!! Definitely, I wouldn’t be back. ☹️
I felt VERY unwelcomed while I was here. The entire time the servers demeanor was cold and reserved. I was treated starkly different from my fellow customer, from walking through the door to receiving my food. Just because someone isn't from the same culture doesn't mean you should treat them any different.
When it comes to good food, I don't mind about prices. But $12.99 for a small and plain carrot cake that only tasted like nutmeg, it is ridiculous!!! Considering the good amount of cheese and cream, the $13.99 for the cachapa is more than reasonable.
Went for breakfast and got the turkey panini to go and mango smoothie. Smoothie was $10 and it was pretty small. The turkey panini apparently only comes with turkey no cheese and two toppings for basically $15, and they didn’t even toast it after waiting about 20 minutes. Not good spend money somewhere else.
I really wanted to like this place since they have vegan options. Unfortunately my meal was not what I expected based on the reviews. My avocado hummus toast was practically flavorless and the empanada was the smallest I’ve ever had for $4.60. Again, I wanted to like the food here because it’s close to my job but I don’t know if I can force myself to even try anything else and waste my money.
Terrible experience. I had high hopes because the Sano in Pines is good but this location missed the mark. I placed my order online and It said it was going to take 30-40 minutes which I thought was weird because what I ordered shouldn’t have taken long. Nevertheless, I waited and around the 30 min mark I walked in to check on the status of my order. To my surprise they had no information on my order and claimed that they didn’t “receive” my order until I just came in. I believe that they had it but the girl failed on her duties to check if they had any online orders. I was then informed that my food was going to take 50 min. I literally ordered ceviche and an empanada. I asked for a refund and was told I couldn’t get one because only the manger can authorize them and they weren’t there. I called to see if perhaps the order was finished early and I was told that my food was ready (as if it’s been ready)….not sure when they planned on telling me. Once I got my food it was nasty. The empanada was okay but the ceviche was terrible. If I could give 0 stars I would. Terrible customer service and terrible food.
Genuinely one of the most bizarre experiences I have ever had. I asked for a chicken panini with mozzarella and spinach as well as a prosciutto and mozzarella salad and, instead, got a mozzarella and spinach sandwich with no chicken(???) and a salad with copious amounts of pistachios instead of prosciutto. I definitely should have checked my food and made sure it was correct, so I’ll accept responsibility there but who makes an untoasted sandwich with just cheese and spinach (when I asked for a panini) and thinks thats a normal order?
Ordered a spicy tuna salad and there was no avocado. I call and talk to Laura and am told I am not able to be refunded, not even offered a partial refund. All they can do is offer me avocado and a refund only if I bring back the salad. I offer a picture of salad but not acceptable to them. This is after I drove home with the salad. When I explained that neither is possible as a) I do not live close and b) am working I was told there is nothing they can do. They later call again offering once again an avocado or two avocados. They can even deliver it to my work (meanwhile it is now an hour after I order it... had already eaten salad before noticing it had no avocado and it does not desirable to me to be offered a raw ingredient. In fact the idea of being delivered an avocado is pretty ridiculous. "Dont worry we have a lot"). I will be forced to do a credit card chargeback because of lack of a reasonable response. Also given a lot of attitude over this.
No stars. This place is Horrible, very unprofessional, the tuna burger took about 30 minutes, staff had bad vibes, bad looks, i asked her how long for my burger? She walked away mad, so i simply walked away and told her to keep the $18 never ready burger. 30 minutes no service just bad vibes and a experience of unprofessional Staff.
I sent the order in 30 minutes before I got there and they claimed they just received it. After waiting another 45 minutes they brought the food out missing chicken on the salad that we had ordered. Lucky I checked they also forgot the chicken. They also forgot the chicken last timeWe ordered it last time. The service there is horrible. They didn't say thank you. They didn't smile. Absolutely nothing. They didn't apologize for screwing up. I would never go back to this place again
