Super cute and delicious place to eat. First time having brunch here and it didn’t disappoint. From French press coffee and yummy cocktails to delicious appetizers and main course. Mine was stuffed French toast covered in sweet potato pieces and syrup. A tasty pecan roll, and burrata with all kinds of tasty toppings. He got the sausage dog with eggs and hashbrowns covered in cheese. Super friendly staff!

We are in our fifties and went here for dinner on a Friday night with our son and his wife. Location and atmosphere here are excellent, easy to talk to each other while dining. The servers are some of the best we have encountered. We ordered the Strip Steak and Wagyu burger. My steak came out a bit too rare and they quickly resolved it, apologetically with a complimentary glass of very nice red wine. We ordered the Apple Dumplin' and Sweet Potato Cheesecake for dessert, and they were both excellent! We hope to return someday soon. Well done, Wine Kitchen!

The Wine Kitchen is a must everytime I visit Frederick. Food is delicious — great menu, especially small plates and appetizers. The highlight for this restaurant for me is their Wine Flights. They’re incredibly done — three wines perfectly paired with short, creative descriptions to read as you enjoy them. Staff is excellent — very friendly, knowledgeable. The atmosphere of this place is unbeatable.

We are big fans of the Wine Kitchen on the Creek. The menu changes seasonally and has never disappointed us. This time we tried the new beef short rib poutine appetizer and it was fabulous, (could have been an entire meal honestly). Maggie was our server and was friendly and efficient making the whole experience a lovely and satisfying night out.

After exploring Downtown Frederick, I wanted a refreshing glass of wine. The Wine Kitchen On The Creek was perfect. True to its name, it's literally along Carroll Creek with beautiful views and many other local businesses nearby. Staff are friendly. When I popped in around 1 p.m. on a Thursday in January, I sat at the bar. Their wine menu is robust with many fun flights. Since it was winter, I got their flight featuring white wines for cold months. One was from Italy, another from Greece, and the third was from Slovenia. I love that they included Balkan wine. Each wine was refreshing and unique. If you need a good dinner spot or date night, go to The Wine Kitchen On The Creek.

From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the décor at The Wine Kitchen on the Creek. The stars on the ceiling, the unique lighting fixtures, and the thoughtful design details set the mood right away. The atmosphere felt lively and polished, with staff constantly moving around to adjust tables, clear settings, and deliver food—even from servers who weren’t mine. Our waiter, Kevin, was exceptional. He had a strong knowledge of the wine selection, and even with my partner being a sommelier, Kevin held his own in conversation. That level of expertise really stood out. We visited during Restaurant Week to sample their offerings. I enjoyed the shish kabobs, flank steak, and their house-made gelato—each dish was delicious and impressively prepared. After the meal, I tried one of their playful cocktails. Opening the drink menu was a delight in itself, with video game–inspired creations featuring names like Mario and Bowser. Unique, creative, and fun. Overall, the experience exceeded my expectations. I left completely surprised—in the best way—and I’m already planning to make the drive from Baltimore (over an hour away) just to dine there again. Highly recommended.

We had an absolutely phenomenal meal at The Wine Kitchen—easily the best dining experience I’ve had in a long time. From start to finish, the service was spectacular and the food was nothing short of delicious. Every single bite was packed with flavor and expertly prepared. Our server, Dwayne, was attentive, knowledgeable, and made the experience even more enjoyable with his warm and patient service. We were pleasantly surprised to be dining during Restaurant Week, which offered a great variety of options. For starters, we enjoyed the sourdough bread with wildflower honey—simple yet exquisite. I opted for the Restaurant Week special and chose the Wagyu flank steak, perfectly paired with a baked potato and fresh chives. Alongside the entrée, I selected a cheese plate with some olive oil bread, which complemented the meal beautifully. For dessert, I indulged in the “pick three” homemade ice creams: caramel coconut, sorbet, and vanilla—each one rich and creamy, a perfect sweet finish. (Another part of the Resturant week deal). On the drinks side, I ordered a refreshing Cosmopolitan and a glass of wine, while my mom tried one of their new signature cocktails—a mezcal margarita—which she thoroughly enjoyed. The ambiance was equally impressive. We were seated in a cozy, intimate private booth adorned with gorgeous wallpaper that created a charming, scenic backdrop. It made the evening feel truly special and memorable. I can’t rave enough about The Wine Kitchen. If you’re looking for exquisite food, attentive service (especially from Dwayne), and a warm atmosphere, this is the place to go! I’m looking forward to returning so I can indulge in one of their wine flights. They let you mix and match from all sorts of wine on their menu. Also excited to try some more of their appetizers. The menu is seriously so creative and there’s so much to choose from.

We had the most wonderful time sitting outside with family here! It was my second time back (visiting family in town) & Anna was our server! She was fabulous. The food was outstanding. Service was beyond incredible! Wine is always great. Dessert was unbelievable as well! We ordered a lot off the special menu they had. The peach salad was one of the best salads I’ve ever had! The atmosphere is amazing, inside & outside!

Eat on the terrace if weather permits. Gorgeous place. Music. Waterside views. Great wine. Sam the sommelier writes the best wine descriptions ever. The Smith Island chocolate cake is to live for! Great service by Ian and Isaac (who also happens to have amazing penmanship.) Excellent French press coffee.

One of the best restaurants in Frederick. Food was delicious and the service was immaculate. Our waitress was very accommodating and went out of her way to ensure that we enjoyed our dining experience. Thank you! We will be back.

I tried the vegan bolgogi mushroom tacos appetizer and the vegan casarecce entree (pictured). Both were absolutely incredible! The atmosphere was great, perfect for a date night. The service was also excellent! I love that the menu is seasonal - I’m excited to try what’a next!

We’ve been here a handful of times and honestly it keeps getting better! Today we went spontaneously for lunch and were seated in a booth near the back of the restaurant. It had a good amount of room for the two of us and we loved the privacy with the partition. The dill hummus was absolutely delicious. We were deciding between the Caesar salad and the mushroom strudel from the lunch menu and went with the strudel upon recommendation from our server. Very glad we did and were happily surprised when it came out with salad as well. Love that they have a good amount of non alcoholic fun drink options, and that dessert is a part of their lunch specials. 🤪 We will be back soon!

The food was very good, the drinks even better, but the customer service really passed away. Came here for a special occasion, and the staff made sure that they did everything possible to create a great evening!

We always love it here, but this time was a step above even the normal experience. We went to celebrate our anniversary, and they wrote us a hand-written card! The food is always incredible and so well thought through. The cocktails AND mocktails were complex and interesting. This is our favorite special occasions spot!

What a wonderful dinner! We picked this restaurant based on the location and reviews. The entire experience was incredible. From the flights of wine, to the dinner rolls, the perfectly cooked steak, and finally dessert. Highly recommend the Wine Kitchen for a date night away from the kids! The friendly and knowledgeable staff helped us navigate the wine menu to get pairings that were great with the food.

Ian and Kat elevated our date night dinner to a wonderful new level! They both provided friendly, attentive and generous service that made a huge difference to our experience. We especially enjoyed their dessert wine recommendations and tastes. Thank you, both! We were also really grateful for the bonus side dishes from our “eat in December, get a surprise coupon for January” treat!

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary here. They remembered and brought us a complimentary glass of sparkling wine and a nice card to start our evening. We split a wedge salad and sourdough bread as an appetizer. For dinner, we both had the filet mignon, that came with mashed potatoes and green beans. We finished our meal with a slice of Smith Island Chocolate cake. The evening was fun with lots of nice touches here and there. The gave 3 kinds of salt, the water is triple filtered (and it tasted great), a small glass of milk for the cake, and I had a special cocktail. The meal was delicious. We will be going back again, when the weather is a bit warmer and we can enjoy the waterway in front of the restaurant.

We had dinner at the wine Kitchen for my wife's birthday. The service was fantastic (Thanks Bruce!) and the atmosphere was great. But the best part of the evening was the food - it was incredible. We had Beet Carpaccio & Dill Pickle Hummus for appetizers, the the Salmon en Croute (dinner for two), and for dessert we enjoyed Chocolate "Smith Island " Cake and the Apple Dumplin'. All of this was fantastic!

We went for a late lunch on a Saturday in February. Great location. The hostess greeted us right away. We had reservations but were a few minutes early. She seated us right away. The service staff was great; shout out to Jenn S. We gave Jenn our wine flavor profiles and she recommended wines for both of us. We loved each of her choices and bought a bottle. The manager also greeted us and we had a nice chat. The vibe was really nice for a late lunch. The food was just OK. The WK riblet sauce was a bit salty. The burger was average. I would go back again for drinks and appetizers.

Not worth it. Went for Valentines day. "On the creek" doesn't mean you'll be able to see the creek. Out the window we were seated at was a nice view of the parking garage across the street. I love wine with dinner but didn't have any because I refuse to pay $30 for a Glass of wine. That's right. A Glass! Food was very expensive and you don't get sides unless you pay more for them?? $11 for asparagus. Really!? Service was horrible. Took us over 3 hrs to get through the slow service. I had 1 Glass of tea the whole time. Our server left in the middle of our service and turned it over to another server that barely paid attention to us at all. Overall it was just horrible. I was ready to go 30 mins in. The food is not worth the money. There are much better places for 2 people to eat for $150 and that includes being able to drink wine. Will not be recommending this place to anyone that's for sure.
