OMG the best fish and fries outside of London, UK Period. Seafood chowder was simply the best, outside of The Waldorf and that was great in the 1980s. Staff just darling.

My family reserved Creekside for a celebration of my grandma’s life after her funeral a couple months ago. It was a lovely restaurant and the waitresses were so friendly. Big shoutout to the bartender who kept making shirley temples for the kids constantly! The food was absolutely delicious as well. We want to come back next year for a family reunion! Thank you Creekside!

Visiting from out of state and went here because it was convenient. Amazing! Excellent food! We had the lemon and sherry chicken and bbq 1/2 rack. Delicious! No room but had the lava cake anyway with vanilla ice cream. OMG. Great job Creekside! Service was great too. Wish we were closer so we could come back.

This is a great place to eat and enjoy live music on a Saturday night. They have a great seafood chowder and the burgers are very good for the price. It's been here for quite a while and attracts many people with the outside dining along the water. Highly recommended.

We, the five of us, enjoyed our dinner outside. Thankful for an evening breeze, no bugs and excellent food and beverages. It was my first time there, and I was very happy with everything. We'll be back, for sure.

They have an amazing staff. The waiters are hard-working and very respectful. The cooks did great with the meal. It was all around a wonderful experience for myself. I recommend this establishment, if you want good food, and amazing vibes.

Amazing! Randomly stopped by on the way to Lake George. What a find! Had calamari, garlicky sirloin, Philly cheese steak, mandarin salad and quesadillas. Calamari was so good — nice hint of spice! Great flavors for everything else, steak was perfectly cooked, kids loved their food! Highly recommended.

I had a life celebration here after my Dad's funeral back in November and the staff made it such a special experience! Alexa was wonderful. She was so patient with my family and I, and she was very attentive. The food was delicious and the drinks were great! I was all over the place after losing my Dad, and I called and on pretty short notice and requested the day before Thanksgiving and they were so accommodating and kind! I can't emphasize enough how truly grateful I am. Highly recommend! Good people, great service, wonderful food!

Unexpected dinner out with family and we had a young waitress by the name of Justina. She was phenomenal! Bubbly personality, prompt service, checked on us a couple times and just overall a pleasure to have as a waitress! The food was delicious as always!

I have been a chef for 30+ years, and I have never been compelled to write a review for a restaurant ever.... until now. I will start off by saying that some of the menu offerings were the most unique and interesting items I have ever seen. I was definitely intrigued by many of the options. My fiance and I had the mandarin orange salad and seafood bisque respectively. Her salad was delicious and the sesame ginger dressing was on point. I had to seafood bisque. Most places pawn off a seafood chowder or cream soup as a bisque, but this was actually a TRUE bisque that was full of seafood and incredibly flavorful. Next she had the lobster ravioli, which had extra lobster meat piled on top of the perfectly cooked, creamy and exquisite ravioli. I had the Scallops Picatta, which had a mango salsa (other than that not being what a Picatta is, which would be my only and minute knock on the menu). The scallops were seared to exactly how they should be. The mango salsa was full of flavors that went surprisingly well with the scallops. The jasmine rice was presented in a thimble formation, that was also cooked as it should. The vegetable that came with it was green beans sauteed in butter that were done with just the right amount of crispness. My sincere compliments to the Chef, his line and all involved in this incredible meal.

The food is always very good.Entrees, appetizers, beer , wine, drinks. It’s in a marina on Catskill Creek so a little off putting driving into a gravel parking lot behind boats and garages. Don’t let that fool you. The food is always good.

Nice outdoor seating, worth waiting for, lots of flowers and greenery over looking the river. Super friendly waitress (hostess less so). Crab cakes and harvest salad were very good, remoulade that came w the crab cake was tasty. Fish and chips was a large portion of well done crispy cod. Kid menu of chicken tender was good too. French fries were well done and seasoned

Good was great, the service was friendly and met our needs and portions were very ample. The dining room is well lit, clean, and nice, BUT they need something on the ceiling and walks to deaden the sounds. It gets a bit loud and echoy. A definite stop when in Catskill.

Great little place right on the water. Enjoyed the Irish atmosphere but it was alittle chilly. My party and I all had burgers they were all cook perfectly and out to us in a timely manner. Would recommend to anyone looking to grab a quick bite at a good place

Delicious Tuscan chicken sandwich, crispy chicken sandwich and fish and chips! We were all very happy with our meals. Also shared a sundae pie and lemon cello cake...awesome! Our waitress was very friendly and attentive as well.

Great waterfront marina view- though intimate. Food great. Service good. We ate outdoor seating. Varied menu for many different tastes. Highly recommend reservations on the weekend. Reasonable prices for the level of cuisine they serve. Oh... And have full bar.

For my first meal out in months I dined at Creekside Cafe. Everything was excellent from the seating to the service to the food. The Harvest salad was so delicious I cleaned my plate. I then had the fish and chips which included a perfectly breaded and fried fillet and crispy yet creamy fries. It was a huge portion and I could barely eat half. All my dining companions loved their meals as well. I can't wait to go back!

Came up to the Catskills for the weekend with my husband and this restaurant did not disappoint. Excellent service and seafood for a very reasonable price. Highly recommend if you’re in the area! Seafood trio is delicious!

We stopped in tonight as a party of 8 without notice. We were denied by two other restaurants and were so happy that we were because Creekside was excellent. The server was phenomenal. So incredibly friendly and accommodating. The bartender was great - we had a drink at the bar before we sat at our table. And the food was excellent. Thoroughly impressed with Creekside tonight! As restaurant owners ourselves, we tend to be a little critical but this place is top notch. From the service to the food - awesome job guys! Thanks for a great night!

We ate in the bar which was much less noisy than the dining area. We had steamed clams, seafood bisque, a crab roll and crabcake sandwich. All were very good. There was only 1 waitress for the whole place on a Tuesday around 2, but she did a fantastic job! She serviced everyone in a timely manner and was very pleasant. Kudos to a great employee!

What a great little hidden gem! We were driving back to Philly from Montreal and really wanted something not super fancy but filling and tasty, lucky for us Jennifer our waitress gave us just that. This place was amazing! We stayed at the hop o nose marina for the weekend on a boat. And the creekside is right there. We ordered for take out 2 nights in a row so we could eat on the deck. The food was fantastic. From the wings to the steak and pasta. We loved the fried calamari. It had a great kick and a balsamic glaze drizzled over it. So nice we got it twice. We would definitely go back for dinner and maybe try their outdoor seating.

We had a simple fabulous dinner here on a busy Sunday night. The brick chicken was delicious as were the sides. We spoke with Karen the owner and she’s wonderful too. Our only regret was not visiting on Friday night for the live Irish music. ☘️ We’re hoping for a larger wine selection for our next visit. Thank you all 🍷

Food was good! The location is great! Nice to eat by the water in the Summer. The service was nice. Our waitress was attentive and friendly. Just be ready to wait. It does take time to get your food but it does taste good when you get it. Don’t come here if you’re on a rush to eat :). I recommend this place! Check it out!

Cute little bar and grill type place right on Catskill Creek and marina. It's bare bones, but has great shrimp & an excellent bar tender. Friendly staff, too. We sat outside overlooking the boats.

My gin and tonic was served in a brandy snifter...which was...different. smile. My friend, a CIA trained chef, and I ordered the calamari and shrimp cocktail. The calamari was good, but the shrimp was poorly peeled and tasted a little "fishy". Our entrees were steak and a seafood platter. Steak was great, but the mashed potatoes were very "soupy". Seafood platter had fried shrimp, haddock and scallops. The scallops were outstanding. The shrimp good, but the haddock was soggy. Lemon Mascarpone cake was outstanding. Could have been a bad day for the kitchen. All in all, the cost was higher than expected for an okay experience. Might go back...maybe.

Great food and service very clean on the inside. I'm not sure who owns the marina but it needs to be cleaned up big time. It's making the property and restaurant look bad.

Very good food. The crab cakes were fantastic. Good service. The bar area was loud but the dining area was separated and quieter. The bathrooms weren't the cleanest though.

Everything was good. The only thing that wasn't great was that it appeared there was only one server. And besides all the individuals and groups, there was also a Bus load of tourists. The server did a good job especially what she was dealing with. We lucked out with the weather and were able to sit outdoors. Great by the Catskill Creek.

The staff was very friendly and let us have out dog outside. Prices were reasonable and the food was good, portions were kinda on the smaller side but still enjoyed it very much. They have a small selection of craft beers but a good diversity. The view is great from the deck, the place is a little hard to find it's around the other end of a large building.

Cute little place on a creek that goes to the Husdon River. It is located at a marina. Nice big windows to look at the creek. Had lunch there in January so was very quiet and not busy. Service was attentive and food tasty. Had chicken sandwich and fries.

This is our go to restaurant when visiting the town of Catskill. The creek front casual dining offers up a nice outdoor view of passing boats and a good amount of seafood offerings. The crab cakes are delicious but the fish and chips should not be missed. For non seafood lovers try the French Dip with caramelized onions.

A really nice lunch by the marina; salads were very fresh, one topped with grilled shrimp, the other chicken. Much better than many other places! Our server was attentive and friendly, and it was nice to sit outside on a beautiful day. We'll return for sure.

Decent menu selections. Spud bites were like delicious nachos. The salads are refreshing. Yes the service is nearly nonexistent but it's obviously employing people that need jobs and they are nice. The room is white sheetrock with nothing on the walls. The tiled floor doesn’t help with how loud the room is. They need some acoustical tiles or something to help with the noise issue. What Creekside lacks in ambiance it makes up for in the great service we had and the food. I would think many people eat outside in the summer so the ambiance isn’t an issue. The large glass windows give a good view of Catskill Creek. We all had drinks (different beers and some tequila drinks) from a good drink menu. There are a dozen craft draft beers to pick from. I had a margarita and my wife had the Spicy Mango Espolon Tequila. My wife and I shared a crispy chicken sandwich and we both had salads. Everyone in our group enjoyed their meal.

Hidden gem in the Catskills. If it's your first time, the back side and parking lot look discouraging & unattractive. No worries though you're at the right spot. The entrance is facing the marina. You'll quickly notice tables, chairs, umbrellas and yachts. Super friendly service by Sierra/Ciara (?). We got the General Tso's Cauliflower (YUM!), Calamari (not crispy enough, and it sits on the marinara sauce?? 🙊), Harvest Salad is super delicious and fresh!, and apparently the Garlicky was really good! Overall we'll definitely go back and try other menu items!

Solid food. Decent service. Only down side is it's echoing and chilly with a lovely view across the creek of a guy peeing on the side of the run down public housing

So this is a mixed review. If you want drinks outside, then I would say this is a good place to go. If you want to eat weeeelllll... the last few times I've been here, the food was awful. I don't mean that as an exaggeration either. I got PEI mussels last time and I'm sure they were beyond their "good by" date. Also the broth had almost no white wine or flavoring was instead very heavy with the expired broth of the mussels. I would also add that a vodka and seltzer should be served in a high ball glass, not a snifter. But now I'm just being picky. 4 stars for drinks, 1 star for food, 2.5 stars overall. Lower score in the cold months.

I chose this place after our annual apple picking adventure. I picked it because it was on the water. We couldn't eat outside because there were bees. Two people did not like their order. One complained and it got taken off the other person did not complain. They did not complain because the other person complained and they felt bad. I think they should have complained. We spent a lot of money with a table of eight and everyone should have been happy with her meal. The fish in the fish and chips had no flavor. The Philly cheese steak was definitely not a Philly cheesesteak at all. It look like old meat and very dry bread. Thank you for taking off the bill. I had a salad and was satisfied with it. The people at the table at pasta did enjoy it. I would go back for a drink outside.

Ordered full rack of ribs,it was tender lacked flavor and too much BBQ sauce which drowned the flavor of the meat. Mash potatoes had no flavor. Bacon cheeseburger was adequate and needs more seasoning, salt and pepper goes a long way while grilling meat. French fries was double fried and delicious ,portions are too skimpy,seafood with linguine clams,shrimp white fish,scallops was adequate, again portion are skimpy ,steamed claws was fresh and delicious but again skimpy with portion. If your in the neighborhood give this place a try. Today was a miss unfortunately, in this day and age of inflation you expect the best when eating out. There are plenty of restaurant out there to try etc.

CHECK YOUR RECEIPT! Bartenders need to be aligned on pricing. I went in on Saturday and got two house drinks in the large to go containers for $20 each. Sunday early afternoon, I order the same and an older blonde bartender charges me $24 for each. No explanation other than “the younger bartender doesn’t know what she’s doing”, although I told her the day before I ordered the same thing for $8 less. Weird behavior. Will not return next summer for that reason.

Very loud in the lounge and dining area. The food was ok at best. They were setting up drums for a band and the slamming of things made the dinner that much more unenjoyable. A one and done for my wife and I.

We were here for Mother’s Day. Food was very good but there was a crowd with young children who were screaming. Parents did nothing to quiet them. At least they could have taken them outside so they would not annoy other patrons. We packed our lunch and left

Did a Google search for dog friendly restaurants in Catskill. This popped up as the first place on the list. Arrived and went to the patio only to be told dogs not allowed. Won't go again. Not worth trying. Do better if you want customers. No reason why a dog can't be on your patio off to the corner. So many places are dog friendly, will gladly patronize them instead.

Started off fine because the chowder is fabulous. Calamari was tasteless and underdone. Soggy. Hostess was extremely nice and removed it from bill. Out of 3 steaks, only 1 was cooked as ordered. All had no flavor, were charred on outside. Staff very nice and tried their best but can't make up for the food. Not as good as past visits.

Been to this place a few times in the past, food is pretty good. Have placed several pickup orders recently where I had to wait 5-10 minutes after the time they said the food would be done, no biggie, but tonight I called to place an order for takeout and was told they "weren't taking takeout orders for the next hour" with no further explanation other than "sorry". Pretty disappointed. They are open and offer takeout, so I don't understand. As a customer, when you're constantly let down by a business, it's difficult to justify spending more money there. I won't be returning any time soon.

Came for dinner @ 5:30 got seated right away the restaurant was not crowded maybe 2 other tables had people we waited to till 6:15 and no one came to take our order. Very disappointed my first time and last going there maybe You need to be a local to get waited on.
