Una joya escondida en el centro de Gibraltar, en una calle peatonal, restaurante tranquilo o al menos cuando hemos estado, agradable y familiar , las pizzas muy buenas y el pescado exquisito. Los camareros muy agradables, nos invitaron a una copita de la casa.

Es un restaurante situado en la calle Irish Town , paralela a la calle principal de Gibraltar. Lo conocíamos de otros años y como siempre la experiencia fue fantástica. Comimos en la pequeña terraza q tiene Fish and chips , pasta y Banoffee de postre .Además de q la comida estaba muy buena , relación calidad precio estupenda, quiero destacar la atención recibida. La camarera q nos atendió fue maravillosa , siempre pendiente , con una sonrisa en todo momento y trato exquisito. Si la comida está bien y te tratan así ... quieres volver y lo haremos .

This was an amazing place of Italian food. I really like the food, it has a lot of variety and types and it has really good prices. I think it is a good plan to go here if you want pasta or pizza.

Im a local and this is our weekly Saturday lunch home. The staff are amazing and many times your served by the actual owner!! No request is impossible, you can mix and match any dish to your choosing without hesitation. Prices are brilliant and the food tastes brilliant!

Enjoyed dinner one day and returned a few days later for lunch. The food and service were excellent. I tried two pizza, both tasted great, made to order with fresh ingredients. Starters were also great, larger than expected, but I'm not complaining. A good wine choice with a large enough menu to please everyone. My friend had one of specials and said it was excellent. Highly Recommended.

Unfassbar gut! Wir haben lange nicht mehr auswärts so lecker gegessen. Wir sind aufgrund der guten Bewertungen bei Google Maps hingegangen, und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Went here twice with hungry kids. Our waitress was great at helping the kids with their dishes. All the dishes we ordered were excellent. Skip the other places on Casemates square go here instead.

Been coming here for the past 5 years or so, and I had an excellent meal. Very good mainly fresh fish specials, with good pizza and pasta main menu. Worth finding it, in Irish town just off the main Street. Can be busy at lunch but evenings is more relaxed affair.

Gallo Nero is a fantastic place to dine in Gibraltar, especially if you're looking for authentic Italian flavors. Despite being quite busy during lunch on a weekend (as expected for a good restaurant in the area), the experience was well worth it. The food took about 30 minutes to arrive, but considering the crowd, it was understandable. I ordered a pizza, which was absolutely delicious—crispy crust, flavorful toppings, and cooked to perfection. The pasta and lasagna were also standout dishes, bursting with rich, authentic flavors that were simply mind-blowing. The service was another highlight. Even though the restaurant was packed, the staff remained polite, attentive, and efficient. They managed the hustle well, and the quality of service didn’t drop despite the busy atmosphere. The desserts, however, were slightly disappointing because their signature dessert was out of stock. That said, the cheesecake we ordered turned out to be a pleasant surprise—possibly the best cheesecake I’ve ever had. If you visit, I highly recommend trying it! Overall, while I haven’t had the chance to compare Gallo Nero to its competitors, this restaurant delivered a fantastic experience. Lovely place w found when wondering around the streets that didn't kist serve the typical Brit food lol. Had grilled prawns and they were spot on, the staff were lovely and accommodating, will definitely return ☺️

We had a lunch here after arriving in Gibraltar & can highly recommend it. My husband had the cannelloni & I had the chicken Caesar salad, which were both excellent. The staff were attentive & really pleasant. We tried to book a table on the Saturday evening, but unfortunately they were closed.

I visited yesterday for the first time. Service was amazing. Large bowl of olives and a couple slices of fried aubergine brought on the house. When ordering Eva didn’t write anything down but brought everything as ordered. I had the liver which was perfectly cooked and my aunt had the chocos, which I’ll be having next time. This is a restaurant that I would visit every day it is that good. The price? £36 for both courses and three cokes.

Waitress brought the drinks but failed to open the beer bottle and waited for the bottle to be opened until another waitress came out to take our food order. The food was brought out by what I assumed was the owner. The food was really nice.

I had the spaghetti carbonara and it was very good. The restaurant interior needs refreshing but it's OK. The Lady who served me was charming and helpful. They also gave me a small taster dish for free which was courgette slices in a light batter. I enjoyed my meal here and will come again.

Very respectable pizza if you ask me. Cheaper than a couple of the other options around. Nice thin crust, good sauce and fair on the toppings. 4 stars overall. No sausage option and not quite a 5 star pie but i would eat it again.

Food was really not that good. Yet the customer service was great. Still would not come back.

The food wasnt bad; it was average. They did ask for our order quickly, and it didnt take too long to bring our food. Mostly though, we had to ask for our check several times, which put a damper on the whole experience.

Nice place in Irish Town, being Sunday it was very quiet so hard to judge the atmosphere. My wife's dish and Son's pizza were delicious. Sadly my medallion of white fish in brandy and lobster sauce had a batter cover, which wasn't indicated, the batter was over cooked which in turn affected the flavouring of what should have a very tasty dish.

Pizza acceptable. We were hungry so it worked (crust was so, so, meat pizza had odd chicken seasoning curry i think maybe turmeric). I'd recommend somewhere else if u want good pizza. Service fine, atmosphere fine.

Dined here for lunch in March. Had prawns, which were fine. Then ordered a Coconut Creme Caramel for dessert, which is where it went wrong. The women I assume was the manager brought it out to me and it was completely mangled. Basically sweet scrambled eggs, that they couldn't get out of the mould cleanly. The fact that I was served it when it was so clearly not as it should be in terms of texture and appearance indicates that if they perceive you as a tourist, they will pawn off the dregs on you. No one checked if it was ok and when I finally asked for my bill, the other server completely ignored that I had a mostly untouched dessert in front of me. In short, you might have a decent meal or you might be served crap, because they think they won't see you again.

The Foccacia in the menu is just pizza bread. Carbonara is with cream. I'm not hungry anymore but I wouldn't order from here again.

Tomuto místu se prosím vyhněte obloukem! Je to facka italské kuchyni, nikdo v tomto podniku neví, co znamenají italské ingredience. Objednali jsme si bruscheta a pikantní krevety, oboje absolutně bez chuti (když nepočítám přemíru česneku) a fantazie. Obsluha se ani po dvaceti minutách nepřišla zeptat, zda li je vše v pořádku...ovšem druhý chod byl třešnička na dortu: lasagne a špagety s mořskými plody...základ tvořil sladký kečup, absolutně nepojídatelný..špagety s mořskými plody se nedaly ani pozřít, jak to bylo nechutné...po několika minutách jsme vstali a požádali o účet, servírce nebylo ani trochu divné, že ihned po podání druhého chodu okamžitě odcházíme.... ptám se sama sebe, Váš podnik neplatí nájem, neplatíte daně a výplaty zaměstancům? Nechápu, že se ani trochu nesnažíte být o lepší? Možná jen, že turistka Vás uživí?
